Well yes of course. Just sayin that the BTG cast came to some of those events -- I was reading BTG actors' social media which talked about the events. Procter & Gamble sponsored the Cincinnati Music Festival in July, BTG actors were there, and there were actors visiting the P&G museum in Cincinnati -- -and CBS publicity was there also Several posts from actors in Cincinnati on the behind-the-scenes BTG thread re: that (Link to one of the posts) (more before and after that post) July 25, 2025 BTG press run in Cincinnati was coordinated by this publicity team from CBS (at least that's the impression I had from the posts back then) CBS Network Entertainment: Noelle Llewellyn (ig "newyorknoelle") https://www.linkedin.com/in/noelle-llewellyn/ CBS Studios: Dio McCollin (ig "dio.marisol") https://www.linkedin.com/in/dio-mccollin/ Edit to add, there was a lot of cross-promotion going on. CBS was also doing promotion for a "BIG3" basketball game happening the same weekend in Cincinnati, which a few of the cast watched.- RIP: In Memoriam Thread
Meg Ryan https://www.instagram.com/p/DSYB2NVEgnF/? megryan Oh how we will miss this man… Thank you, Rob and Michelle, for the way you believe in true love, in fairy tales, and in laughter. Thank you for your faith in the best in people, and for your profound love of our country. I have to believe that their story will not end with this impossible tragedy, that some good may come, some awareness raised… I don’t know, but my guess is that they would want that to be hopeful and humane, to be something that brings us all to a greater understanding of one another and to some peace.- ARTICLE: ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Top Soap Among Women 18-49 & Women 25-54, Sets New Season Highs – RATINGS
oh wow. So perhaps the remaining CBS publicists via SmithHouse aren't really savvy as to what/how to promote BTG? Earlier this year, and even a few months ago, that P&G was doing the best at promoting BTG, holding live events in various cities. I think that currently, the best BTG promotion is from the cast social media ig and tiktoks -- they do a great job -- but --- that doesn't really promote the show unless mainstream media (or CBS) reposts/regrams what the actors post.- B&B: December 2025 Spoilers

Dec.16, 2025 Close friends of Rob and Michele Reiner release statement to the Associated Press https://apnews.com/article/rob-michele-reiner-ap-statement-close-friends-a9be43c1748bd6c955744c1fbae12389 It is signed by Billy and Janice Crystal, Albert and Kimberly Brooks, Martin Short, Alan and Robin Zweibel, Larry David and Ashley Underwood, Marc Shaiman and Lou Mirabal, Barry and Diana Levinson, and Ambassador James Costos and Michael Smith. Here is the statement in full: “Going to the movies in a dark theater filled with strangers having a common experience, laughing, crying, screaming in fear, or watching an intense drama unfold is still an unforgettable thrill. Tell us a story audiences demand of us. Absorbing all he had learned from his father Carl and his mentor Norman Lear, Rob Reiner not only was a great comic actor, he became a master story teller. There is no other director who has his range. From comedy to drama to ‘mockumentary’ to documentary he was always at the top of his game. He charmed audiences. They trusted him. They lined up to see his films. “His comedic touch was beyond compare, his love of getting the music of the dialogue just right, and his sharpening of the edge of a drama was simply elegant. For the actors, he loved them. For the writers he made them better. His greatest gift was freedom. If you had an idea, he listened, he brought you into the process. They always felt they were working as a team. To be in his hands as a film maker was a privilege but that is only part of his legacy. “Rob was also a passionate, brave citizen, who not only cared for this country he loved, he did everything he could to make it better and with his loving wife Michele, he had the perfect partner. Strong and determined, Michele and Rob Reiner devoted a great deal of their lives for the betterment of our fellow citizens... They were a special force together-dynamic, unselfish and inspiring. We were their friends, and we will miss them forever. “There is a line from one of Rob’s favorite films, ‘It’s a Wonderful Life,’ ‘Each man’s life touches so many other lives, and when he isn’t around, he leaves an awful hole, doesn’t he?’ You have no idea.”- ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
KJ Apa (Kane Jenkins in Shortland Street, Archie in Riverdale) cast as Jimmy Stewart in the biopic "Jimmy" to be released in 2026 https://variety.com/2025/film/news/jimmy-stewart-biopic-poster-kj-apa-its-a-wonderful-life-star-trailer-1236610629/- BTG: History, Behind the Scenes Articles & Photos
He doesn't * specifically * discuss exiting BTG. He talks about how BTG opened doors for his career but nothing directly about his exit. And the interviewer doesn't ask at all. The issue is his description of his self-described "manliness", and how he thought women viewers respond to that ... but all of that is alongside the homophobia he expresses. Some text-based soap websites have typed up and posted their summaries of this interview, in which they state that he says he'd never portray a gay character because his portrayal wouldn't be believable to the viewers, and that it would be better if gay actors got such roles. People hurriedly reading those unclear summaries might buy that as a support of gay actors and representation. But it's not that at all! If you watch the video, there's more * emotion * in how he says that, making it obvious that he's homophobic.- BTG: History, Behind the Scenes Articles & Photos

from https://www.erikaslezak.com/ December 16: Message from Erika on Tony Geary’s passing “I am so terribly saddened by the death of Tony Geary. He was a charming man, a brilliant actor and all together a very nice man. I send my sincerest condolences to his husband Claudio, and I will keep him in my prayers. We had such fun together when we did the What If crossover promotions in 2010. I thoroughly enjoyed him and loved watching him on television.”- R.I.P.: Anthony Geary has passed away
https://www.instagram.com/p/DSTmFzmDEUq/ therealsusanlucci My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Tony Geary, his GH family, and the legions of fans who loved him. I cherish the time we spent doing a documentary in Kenya, on behalf of children—I remember we were both so touched and impacted by our experience there. Tony was such a talented actor and a wonderful man with a big heart. RIP Tony, knowing you will be in the hearts and memories of so many.🙏🙏🙏- R.I.P.: Anthony Geary has passed away
Finola Hughes https://www.instagram.com/p/DSWQ9QlEdrM/ finolafilona Tony The original. He took my breath away, so magical, creative, fearless. The thing of legend. So glad I spent time with you and Claudio in Amsterdam for a couple of summers. The best host, conversationalist, deep thinker, witty, kind raconteur. Deeply mischievous, naturally my kids adored you. Thank you Tony for the really, really good times, for sharing your heart and spirit. Claudio I love you, we send our hugs. I’m always going to think of Tony out on the canals in his boat, slowly sailing through Amsterdam. GOAT 🕊️- R.I.P.: Anthony Geary has passed away
Wally Kurth https://www.instagram.com/p/DSV2sG9EtKI/ wallykurth It’s been a tough year. We have lost another beloved actor from GH. I’m so saddened. I want to add my praise and deep respect for the one and only Tony Geary. He raised the acting performance bar in Daytime TV to a level I know I’ll never meet. As an actor who worked with him, I was always reminded of his skill, professionalism and integrity. He was the gold standard. And his 8 Emmy wins and countless nominations prove it. I wish I had had more scenes him - because he made me a better actor. He was funny, smart and opinionated. He liked to run his lines to learn them, which was funny to me since many of them were rewritten by him! He is terribly missed by all of us at GH. We will carry on. His spirit is always here in the studio. Sending my heartfelt condolences to his family and especially Claudio🙏❤️🫶👏👏 RIP Anthony Geary. #anthonygeary- ALL: "Soapy" Podcast hosted by Rebecca Budig & Greg Rikaart

Not Lindsay Rappaport in the clip. I'd never seen her before but the youtube closed captioning says her name is "Lindsay Butler" (but I know closed captioning is often wrong). I looked it up. The character, Lindsay Butler, portrayed by Anna Holbrook. info from April 1994 usenet archive (Link) #Lindsay Butler (Anna Holbrooke) Putting the character details behind spoiler tag since Maxim hasn't seen all this yet - a reporter for The Banner - was marginally involved with Clint during the worst of his break-up with Viki - beat out Viki for a coveted journalism award with her series on the homeless in Llanview - - - - - - - - Interesting. Jacob Young https://www.instagram.com/p/DSTBgt-EZjk/ jacob_w_young I’m at a loss for words over the passing of my mentor, on-screen father, and dear friend, Anthony Geary. He gave so much to his craft and cared deeply about his fellow actors. Even after my time on General Hospital, we always remained close, and I will forever be grateful for his guidance, generosity, and friendship. RIP Tony.- R.I.P.: Anthony Geary has passed away
Greg Vaughan https://www.instagram.com/p/DSVG9N_DiG0/ thegreg_vaughan There are people who fill a room by demanding attention. And then there are people like Tony — who never asked for it, yet held it effortlessly. For nearly seven years, I had the privilege of standing beside him on General Hospital, portraying his son, Lucky… and if anyone was Lucky, it was me! What I came to understand quickly was that Tony wasn’t interested in being celebrated — he was interested in being present. Present in the work. Present with his fellow actors. Present in the quiet moments that mattered far more than applause. When I first joined the show, months later we found ourselves in New York for the Emmys. Tony took me under his wing without fanfare, without hierarchy — just generosity. Sitting front row at Radio City Music Hall with him wasn’t about the ceremony. It was about being beside someone who carried himself with humility, curiosity, and kindness, even in moments meant to shine a light on him. One of my most treasured memories is a scene where my character lay on life support. Tony leaned in, called me “Cowboy,” and softly sang “Don’t Fence Me In.” It was simple. Tender. And unforgettable. He had me welling up while I was trying to be still. That was Tony — never pushing, never performing for effect, just telling the truth of the moment. He taught me that greatness doesn’t announce itself. It listens. It gives. It lifts others quietly. His impact on my life — personally and professionally — didn’t come from lessons spoken out loud, but from how he showed up every day with love and a smile. I am deeply grateful for the time, the trust, and the humanity he shared with me. Tony, thank you for the work, the love, the laughter, the guidance — and for reminding me that the most meaningful legacies are carried softly. You will always be with me. Anders Hove, as quoted by tvinsider “Tony always went out of his way to be a good friend and great acting partner. Right up till the end, he was fun, funny, an incredible sense of humor, and wonderfully cynical in a beautiful way. I’ve made many visits to Amsterdam for visits, and every time was more fun than the one before. He’ll always make me smile — and laugh — just thinking of him, which I always will.”- SON Community - Major Software & Design Updates

@Errol when embedding instagrams, it's showing only the picture/video but not the text (caption) of the post. This is significant today with Tony Geary's passing. Actors are posting photos but their tributes are in the text. I had to copy/paste the text above the ig embed for Jonathan Jackson's long text tribute. Is there a way to select "show caption" or whatever?- R.I.P.: Anthony Geary has passed away
Jonathan Jackson https://www.instagram.com/p/DSVGddaDs3q jonathanjacksonhq My heart is broken at the news of Tony’s passing. There are no words to express what he meant to me personally. Many people know what a brilliant and unparalleled actor and artist he was. For decades, he poured out his heart and soul and passion into his work. Never settling, always pushing for truth, nuance, paradox, humor and humanity. His one-man play Human Scratchings was otherworldly—a spellbinding performance that left me and so many others struck to the core of our being. He lived through the height of fame and never lost his humor, his compassion and grace. He is known to the world for his artistic achievements, but to me, he will be remembered most for his humility, kindness, love and wit! Tony’s mind was a creative cosmos, always on the move, exploring and cultivating the art and poetry of life. He was a truly brilliant writer, which many don’t yet know, but I hope his work will come to light one day. As an eleven year old kid, he took me under his wing with a depth of grace, respect and belief that I certainly didn’t deserve. He was my father in the arts, my mentor in the world of learning to trust one’s instincts and always believe in the power and beauty of story and performance. There were moments, many moments over the years working together that I can only describe as transcendent. I will cherish each and every one of them. As I grew older, Tony became one of the closest friends I have ever had. No matter the time or distance, our souls spoke the same language. I will greatly miss his presence in the room with me. He was family. Elisa and all of our children adored Tony. My love and humble prayers are with his family and friends on this heartbreaking day. But we will remember him, and honor his memory! One of my favorite Scriptures says, “Love is stronger than death”, and I feel this way about him. To say, “I love you” is to protest another’s death. In my soul, this is how feel… and I cling to the hope that we will see each other again. I love you Tony. - ARTICLE: ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Top Soap Among Women 18-49 & Women 25-54, Sets New Season Highs – RATINGS
