I was really liking Tyrell and Samantha today. Yeah, a bullying storyline is a little cliche but, just like I said with Days, it's so hard to write realistic teens in general, from any generation, that I don't mind it. Idk about Smitty and Martin though; the way they talk about their kids, you'd think they were 5 years old or something lol I hope this isn't the end of the conflict. So much can be written based on Smitty going back to work, or Martin trying to control his life. And yes, Kat vs. Eva was the best part of today. They really need to build up every part of their storyline; their rivalry with each other, over Tomas. Everything. So that when the reveal finally happens, the fallout would be explosive.

Kristina's a dipshit 😂 I did really like Trina/Gio/Emma teaming up today though. The three of them work really well together.

Agreed. Out of all of John's kids, Paul really is the best one to carry on John's legacy. Too bad we can't get Christopher Sean full time. I'm still wondering why Maggie, or any of the Kiriakises aren't just doing it 😂

True, Janet didn't do much. But a lot of people said that she made the set a much better and safer environment for everyone. And if she was the one who was ultimately responsible for Ron finally being sent packing, I'm forever grateful I agree that the unnecessary establishing shots were all her, but I also think she was responsible for the Greene siblings (Mark, Aaron and Felicity, not Cat) And for Steve Burton and Lucas Adams being sent packing as well, which I imagine made some of y'all happy 😂😂😂 I'm looking forward to seeing if Noel Maxam does anything different and how he'll handle Days in general . According to Carson Boatman, he was the one who directed those Johnny/EJ confrontation scenes, and allowed the two of them to have multiple takes for it.

Welcome back, Paul and Andrew! We’ve missed you a lot 😊😊😊😊 Now, please save us from the massive vortex of suck that is Javi and Leo 😂😂😂 Just like before, the two of them fit so effortlessly back onto the canvas. It’s almost like they never left. I’m glad that they’re on the case of John’s disappearance too. And I loved that Paul was there to comfort Marlena. Their trip down memory lane was really nice. Andrew, having kept the secrets about John’s mission from Paul could be really interesting too. Hopefully, they at least have a conversation about it at some point in the future. In a perfect world, this would cause Paul and Andrew to break up (for a while anyway) so that Andrew could date Dimitri, and Paul could cause problems for Will and Sonny 😂😂 As for John’s mission, I don’t dislike it but hopefully the fallout plays out for a long time. And the cliffhanger was good but at the same time, I admit that I’m rolling my eyes a little too. And again, poor Stephanie and poor Philip. I still like this storyline but both of them, as characters, deserves better than this. Everything is still too biased in favor of Alex.

I’ve had so many questions Did Ron decide to finally change his ways? Did he know his job was on the line after that Body&Soul mess and decided to be on his best behavior? Was there interference, editing, re-writing? Even, (though this is unlikely to me) did he know he was gonna be fired and decide to go out with a bang? I hope we find out the answer someday

What a great opening scene 😍😂😂 For more than one reason lol Holly and Doug III do have chemistry and I enjoy their scenes together. Doug III meeting Sophia and applying for a job at The Bistro could be interesting as well, especially with what Sophia was hinting at today. And he seemed to have more of an edge too. I particularly enjoyed Tate and Holly’s fight. It was taken seriously and not written like a big joke, which was definitely the right decision. Holly really let him have it lol and now that they seem to be breaking up, I wonder where they’re going to go from here. As for Leo’s article, I’m actually not minding the fallout to all of it. I think they should have built it up a little bit more but I’m interested in seeing where this could lead to for everybody. This is effecting more characters than I thought it would and I think that’s a good thing. I have mixed feelings about this new arc in the Kiriakis family storyline though, mostly because I fear that it’s going to make Stephanie and Philip look stupid in order to make Alex look good once again and it shouldn’t be like that. Hopefully, things will change soon. And I do still enjoy Stephanie and Sarah’s friendship though, despite Sarah being a little dumb today

Like you said, she needs a weakness. Otherwise, she's just an annoying plot device.

As ridiculous and pathetic as Brooke/Ridge/Taylor have been in these last few episodes, I have been enjoying Hope though. She does seem to have bigger balls than Carter too 😂😂😂

We got some new establishing shots today. One of which was clearly of Brooklyn and Manhattan, not some little town in the Midwest 😂😂😂 But today was good. I liked how a lot of people had someone to confide in or vent to. Poor Doug III I know he kinda deserves it but I feel bad for him. The acting isn’t perfect, but it doesn’t bother me as much as some other actor’s do. I’m looking forward to seeing where he goes from here, and what’s going to happens to his relationships with Holly, Julie, etc. And what’s going to happen when he finally finds out about Tate. And, Doug III looked hot. 😍😂😂 Maggie comforting Julie was really nice as well. I’m glad that Julie had someone to talk to about the way she’s feeling about all of this. Poor Johnny though. Him/Carson and EJ/DF totally stole the show again. Their scenes were basically a continuation of last week and I was very impressed by them. I imagine a lot of other fans will be impressed by it as well. This conversation was one that the two of them needed to have and I’m really happy that the show didn’t rush it. And I hope they don’t rush it in the future either. Whoever worked on today’s episode did a really good job. It’s just feels more real. And a lot more dynamic and complex than a lot of things that we’ve seen previously. I wish Days would be like this more often. And as much as I don’t like the whole adoption thing, I like that it’s been tied to everything with EJ. Adding more layers and dynamics to a storyline always makes it better.

I think Mike is a little too cliche but I’m really looking forward to Naomi vs. Bill, especially since I’ve always had more sympathy for Bill than I thought I was going to. It could go in so many different directions and have a huge ripple effect across the canvas. Martin was still a dick but I agree he did seem to actually have some care and affection towards Smitty, which was lacking up until now. They seemed like a real couple. The endings were good too and I’m looking forward to both confrontations tomorrow (today) because both of those storyline have stood out to me the most from the very beginning. Even more than Dani’s.

So, the secret’s out. I didn’t dislike the reveal, but I wish they had played it out for a little longer. Tate and Doug III have barely had any scenes together, and no time to really let their rivalry grow lol. Immediately jumping into the reveal like this feels a little weird. But I’m curious to see what’s going to happen now, especially when it comes to Holly. Maybe we’ll finally get a brawl 👊🏻😂😂😂 Doug III and Julie’s confrontation was really good. SSH did play it a little hammy, but at the same time, I found it interesting. PM did pretty well too, especially in his final scene. I wonder where their relationship is going to go from here. And yeah, Brady’s still a little bitch. I don’t blame Ava for dumping his ass. At least give your kid a slap, man lol. Hopefully, the character will get a reset in the next few months because at the moment, idk how he’s gonna carry on John’s legacy. Speaking of John, Marlena and Steve reminiscing about John was really nice as well. It’s little moments like that that I really love about soaps. And, it turns out that Rita also had a hand in old Rachel’s disappearance. That might mean something somewhere down the line.

I thought Savannah gave all that up to go be with Chris 😂😂😂😂
