  1. Damn… Days was late today. Hope it goes back to being uploaded at 5 AM. I like the way that some people were there for the people that they care about throughout today’s episode, even Rafe and Jada, even though Shawn’s part in their storyline needs to be utilized a lot more. I especially enjoyed Julie and Doug III. They really do have a nice relationship, even though he did seem like a bit of a wimp today at The Bistro. I’m interested in seeing what’s going to happen next for him. Tate confessing to Holly about his jealousy over her friendship with Doug III was a good choice as well. They seemed like real angsty teens today lol. I hope they continue to build up this storyline and the rivalry/feud between Tate and Doug III, because it could be really good. As for old Rachel… oh well. If this means that’s she gone, then good riddance. Bringing her back, and this storyline in general, were a big mistake.
  2. Imagine if one of us lived in a city where the Mayor was bff’s with the local mob boss 😂😂😂😂
  3. Yeah. But you should also get your own place rather than freeloading and taking advantage of your cousins 😂😂😂
  4. In that case, time to recast Alex and bring Ciara back to Salem… as a grieving widow 😂😂😂
  5. What a lousy opening scene 🤮 After today, I think I finally understand why some posters thought Javi was obnoxious and selfish. Like, who orders people around in their own house? If he’s gonna be nothing more than a Leo prop, then just write him out. And seriously, who TF falls in love in a month? Gabi was clearly supposed to be the bad guy today but it didn’t work and it never will. But I’m glad we got some follow-up with EJ and Johnny. EJ’s fight with Kate was the one of the best parts of today, even though the background music in their scenes was ridiculous. And honestly, whoever picked it should be fired. And there seemed to be some continuity errors too. Does the show not remember that the night EJ raped Sami was also the night that he shot John and was on the run? But the fight itself was good and it was even better seeing Kate continuing to get her strength back. EJ hinting that he could target Philip as a way of getting back at Kate could be interesting too. I also enjoyed the Rafe/Johnny scenes and I’m glad that the show remembered their relationship. Johnny raised some pretty questions too, that I hope are answered once I also appreciate the way that the two of discussed Sami. For the first time in years, she feels like an actual character instead of just a plot device/troublemaker. The ending was pretty good too. It’s definitely time for Old Rachel to get lost.
  6. Under Ron, it got way, way worse after Jamey showed up. Hopefully, MVJ and everyone are watching them like hawks.
  7. Just as long as Vernon and Anita don’t decide to become producers of their newly cancelled favorite soap 😂😂
  8. Just an added incentive to watch 😂😂😉 As for that Days dictionary, got any other words to include in there? 😂😂 After today, I’m not so sure either. He actually seemed concerned about Kim, as opposed to how off putting he was yesterday I wish that would’ve happened. Plus, it would’ve been a lot more interesting to see than Body&Soul
  9. 😂😂😂😉 The boresome foursome 😂😂😂 How could I forget? 😂
  10. So, Maggie volunteers at Statesville? OK 😂😂😂 Her scenes with Sarah were good but I still don’t see why Maggie’s not doing what she can to help save the hospital. Xander knowing that Philip and Stephanie are keeping a secret from Alex could be interesting though, and adds another dynamic to the Kiriakis family storyline and I like that. The messier, the better lol and I also think that there was some more foreshadowing about Stephanie and Xander too. As for Joy, idk. I wouldn’t mind her being on the canvas but if this is it for her, I wouldn’t mind that either. I wonder if there was any thought put into her character, other than that Body&Soul nonsense. It actually feels similar to what happened with Talia; a character being introduced for a storyline that ultimately fails and not knowing what to do her with afterwards. Or maybe there was interference, especially with the way that the thing with Johnny and Chanel was just dropped, and Ron just quit caring. Who knows? Maybe it’s for the best though; she doesn’t need more writing that makes her look bad in order to make Alex look good. Plus, we don’t need more Nancy bashing either. As for the baby, she should just get an abortion. And, Theresa’s gone too? Just like that? If she was only gonna be in it for like 3 episodes, then what was the point of this? Were Ron and Jamey just trying to be funny again or something? This just seems so unnecessary now, along with giving Kim cancer once again. There’s ton of potential story for Theresa (and none for Gwen) as we saw in the scenes that she had with Brady and Tate. Those scenes were the best part of today, and I wish that the show would continue to explore the relationship between her and Tate. We got to see Brady and Tate’s relationship on full display today and it was great. I really enjoyed their conversation about John and how John would be there for Tate, Sophia, etc. if he knew that Sophia was pregnant. And, Tate looked hot too 😍😂😂
  11. OK 😉 I’ll stick with that cute blonde from Atlanta 😉😂😂😂 Yeah, she did. Maybe that’s why they chose not to go there.
  12. Agreed about Kat vs. Eva. They’re one of the reasons why I hope this Leslie storyline plays out for a long time. Let this feud build and build, over Nicole, over Tomas, etc. until all hell breaks loose. Naomi suing Bill’s firm seemed kinda random but I think it could be interesting. And honestly, I don’t know if they want us to have sympathy for Hayley but if they are, it’s working for me. Watch the February 5th episode of Days, and you’ll see why I’m not looking forward to Ron/Jamey 2.0 🤮😂😂
  13. My God, what a bunch of f*ckin losers all these characters are 😂😂😂
  14. Well, hello Marco 😍 I do wish he wasn't And Lucas/Van was looking very cute and adorable today too 😊😊 I'm still gonna feel so bad for Brad though when he sees the two of them together, even though it seems like they're trying to make him campy at some points in this storyline and I don't think that's working. And I do kinda like Lucas and Marco too 😂😂 As much as I dislike retcons, instead of this whole Brook Lynn and Dante at summer camp thing, maybe they should've had rewritten Carly paying Brook Lynn to seduce Dante in 2010 and had her get pregnant with Gio as a result of that. Valentin, Sonny, and Joss are just annoying.
  15. I thought so too, at first, but then Jamey apparently confirmed it. 🤔😉😂 Makes me wonder even more if the new writers are gonna change any of Ron's projections
  16. Welcome back, Shane… maybe. This is speculation, but I think it’s gonna turn out that this is really Drew, and that he kidnapped Shane and took over his life, and also had a part in John’s disappearance. The way he was speaking to Marlena and Steve didn’t sound like Shane at all. But I really enjoyed Marlena today, and how tough and persistent she was. The fact that she suspects “Shane” is holding something back also fueled my speculation that this is really Drew. And it could also explain why he ignored Theresa for most of the episode. And why he called her Jeannie at the end. Speaking of Theresa, I really preferred her scenes with Xander over her scenes with Alex, mostly due to RSW’s portrayal lol and because there’s much more story possibilities where Xander is concerned. I wouldn’t mind Theresa having a part in the Kiriakis family storylines. I can say the same thing about Joy. I don’t feel that she’s completely necessary but I don’t mind her being a part of all this Xander overhearing that Philip and Stephanie are keeping a secret from Alex could be interesting too. Unfortunately, Stephanie was written pathetically again though and that’s sad. She needs to get her drive and strength back and hopefully she gets it back next month. But I enjoyed Roman and Kayla’s conversation. Josh Taylor sounded better today lol and Kayla had a really good point; as much as I love all these old guys, maybe it is time for them to pass the torch on and let somebody else be the hero 😂😂 Andrew, Paul, Will, Sonny, Tripp, Joey, Shawn, JJ. There are plenty 😍😂
  17. Then again, Ron and Jamey have probably already pitched a character for him to play on BTG 😂😂
  18. Annie Wilkes still defending her Paul Sheldon, no matter what. While I can believe that this is all Ron, and that Paula/Jean didn’t edit or rewrite anything, I’m still curious as to how this all came to be, especially after years of completely ignoring Sami’s rape. So many questions are going through my mind about it. Yeah. But, it’s also pretty clear that Ron had a lot more authority than other head writers have had. Come on now 😉 Don’t you Y&R fans want Kevin back too? 😂😂😂😂
  19. Today was good, but not as good as Thursday and Friday. The B and C plots kinda dragged it down. The ending was a little lousy too. Why would you end the episode with Rafe/Jada rather than EJ/Johnny or Johnny/Chanel? And yeah, Brady’s still a little bitch. But his and Belle’s scenes improved once they started talking about her and EJ. They have such a good sibling relationship. I expected the Johnny/EJ scenes to be the best part of today and thankfully, I was right. What stood out to me the most was the dialogue. They hit a lot of good character beats in regards to EJ’s relationship with Stefano and the father/son dynamic between them and between EJ and Johnny, the Dimera family legacy, Johnny’s existence and the crime of rape in general. It continued to be so mature and sophisticated, like last week. And handled with a lot more care and sensitivity than Days usually does. It didn’t feel rushed but I wish it had gone on a little longer. I was also really impressed by EJ/Dan Feuerriegel. By the way he played it today, you could tell that EJ is remorseful over everything that happened. He might even have an Emmy reel ready. If he’s capable of such good work like this, why do they so often write EJ like such a campy clown? It’s not necessary, and today proved that even more. Carson Boatman did a really good job again as well. Too bad Johnny didn’t f*ck EJ up though. All in all, I hope this plays out for a long time and that Johnny doesn’t forgive EJ right away. Now, that this secret is out, so many things could happen as a result of it. Or in Days’ case, need to rein in their head writer 😂😂
  20. Ehhh…. I’m tired of Kristen and Stacy’s gotta go somewhere 😂😂 Yeah. Kate revealed it, I think. And Lucas responded by shoving cake in her face 😂😂 Considering his mindset about rape, 100% agree
  21. You and I still have the same taste 😂😂😂😂😉
  22. Maybe she'll have a weakness for Doug III 😂😂 Which Tate can expose, as a way of making him look bad in Holly's eyes.
  23. I'd send him back to Y&R, along with Emily O'Brien and Stacy Haiduk 😂
  24. Maybe I'm blinded by my hatred of him, but I can't see that at all 😂😂😂
