Welcome back, Bonnie. It's been a while. I like that she was finally there to comfort Sarah. They really did have a nice relationship for a while and I'm glad to see it onscreen again. Plus, this is a much better use of Bonnie/Judi Evans than how she was used previously 🤮 As for Xander, I don't mind him seeking comfort elsewhere (for a little while anyway lol) but I still don't see the point of that comfort being Gwen. There are other people on the canvas (Stephanie) that he could have been paired with. I wonder why they chose not to go there with the two of them, especially since it seemed like they were hinting at it for a while. Plus, the book thing could've been the perfect catalyst to cause conflict for Stephanie and Alex and have her turn to Xander. Speaking of Gwen, I still don't like her but I'm totally on her side when it comes to Leo 🖕 I was really impressed by Javi today. Seeing him call Leo out on what he did to Gwen was great. We definitely, definitely would not have gotten that if Ron was still writing. Too bad that he ultimately forgave Leo though. With any luck, at some point Javi will confide in someone like Gabi that that revelation totally changed his opinion about Leo. Which hopefully, Gwen will exploit. Btw, ruining Dimitri even more than they already have isn't going to make me like either Leo or Gwen. And, I see that Ari is still loving her some Doug III. Her finding out that he owes money to people could lead to something interesting happening. Now, they just need to have the two of them interact with Tate/Holly/Sophia, etc. again. Doug III's feelings for Holly, and that rest of the mess have basically been sidelined by the loan shark thing and I'd love to see it again. Belle comforting Marlena was really nice as well.

Yeah. I guess on some level, she did deserve that. But that’s how bad the Dimitri storyline was lol and the fact that it was probably written that way just so that Ron could get some kind of sick pleasure out of it made it even worse She didn’t assume that. She was just being a dick 😂😂 Ron Carlivati can be very sneaky. Which is why I was worried about him being at BTG

Mike Manning never disappoints and I’m so glad that he got a second chance to show off his abilities on a soap. Seeing Smitty in reporter mode and interacting with the rest of the canvas has been great. And he really does have good chemistry with Jibre Hordges. And I like Tyrell, but yeah that was a pretty bad move lol inviting a creepy older man into your house does not earn you respect, dude 😂 I was completely on Martin’s side

Definitely. Him/Dimitri really was the most wasted actor and character under Ron’s pen. Gwen getting back at Leo for all of that would make her return so worth it.

Mac being such a Yenta today was definitely not on my Bingo card 😂😂😂 And just like I suspected, I really enjoyed today’s round of Brook Lynn vs. Lulu. And I thought Jason was actually used pretty effectively as well. And now that Gio knows everything that Brook Lynn did too, I can’t wait to see what happens next for all of them. Or if they go where I suspect they may go #Giulu As for Willow, WTF?

Gwen, and her intro storyline were actually very popular on here. Having her play a part in Laura’s death was the thing that just ruined it for everybody, IIRC. The Dimitri storyline was just gross and disgusting. And so bad and poorly written that I actually started to feel bad for Gwen again.

If we’re forced to endure Javi/Leo, they should at least have some good conflict. They’re boring too 😂 Even if I liked them, I’d think they were boring

Welcome back, Gwen... now go away 🖕 I love that Chad and Julie had no time for her crap. Like I said yesterday, this all just seems so pointless and unnecessary. It would have made much more sense for them to have brought Theresa back full time. Not only could she be used effectively in Tate's storylines, but she could also play a big part in the Kiriakis family storylines as well. Knowing Ron, he probably just did this so that Gwen and Leo could become besties again, which honestly makes me sick and kinda pisses me off a little. That's the last thing that needs to happen. The more that I think about it, Gwen was probably just meant to be a big F U to Abigail, which was probably the reason why he discarded her so easily, and disgustingly, once Abigail was dead. But now that they finally fired Ron's ass, and if we're stuck with Gwen, hopefully she makes Leo's life miserable. Maybe she'll pay a guy to seduce Javi away from him 😂😂 I admit I like seeing Javi in paramedic mode though. It adds more layers to his character, and it gets him out of that bubble that he's been stuck with Leo and the rest of the Hernandez's. Him and Kayla work well together too. Alex and Stephanie were kinda sweet today, but also kinda boring lol. They really, really need some good conflict. And, while I didn't hate Rafe being such a gossip girl with Gabi and Arianna, I couldn't help but cringe a little too 😂😂

The continuity would have been so much better if producers, writers, etc. had just done there homework. In a 1979 episode, Cory Publishing held its 21st annual Board meeting, which means that, back then, the company was founded in 1958 lol

So, Vaughn said he loves animals. How ironic 😂😂😂 But he did look hot. And yeah, Emma will never be the bad guy in this situation, no matter how GH chooses to write it. Will anyone BTS ever realize that? But I am a little interested in whether or not this thing with Vaughn might cause problems between her and Gio. Dante/Lulu/Rocco was the best part of today. All three of them did a very good job. And for the first time in a long time, I didn't want someone to slap Lulu. She really is at her best as Rocco's mother. I'm curious to see where Rocco is going to go from here. And I'm also really looking forward to seeing the rest of the Lulu/Brook Lynn confrontation.

Just as long as she doesn't make peace with Leo.

I can even imagine it 😂 Gwen, strutting in, wearing the necklace and everybody stopping what they're doing and looking up in shock. End of episode. I'm still not a fan of Gwen but that would've been pretty good. If only Days had money 😂😂

Was it just my TV or was the audio not matching the actors movements today? There did seem to be a lot of filler today though. And the whole Xander/Felicity thing has always been unnecessary. But I did think that Sarah was used very well, both with Holly and then with Xander. I like that the show continues to build these relationships with Maggie and her daughter and granddaughter. And that Sarah and Xander are not immediately rushing back into a reunion. It's good drama and could lead to more good drama too. Let them be apart for a while, let them have new relationships before they inevitably find their way back to each other. Based on their scenes today, I'm looking forward to seeing how the writers make that happen over time. And yeah, Tate's a dumbass lol but he was really sweet and dorky throughout the episode, even though him and Holly being so happy and willing to go on a trip while Sophia is "about" to give birth makes them look even more selfish than they already have been. I've never been against them being so selfish, but I really think that that should play more into both of their characters. I did kind of feel bad for Sophia too. As for Julie and her necklace, this is another thing that's just not necessary. And definitely a Ron storyline that Paula/Jeanne should not have followed through on.

Agreed, that on BTG, the “British style” is not working at all. And I’ll be honest, that style is one of the (several) reasons why I think B&B sucks. But I also agree that BTG is not at that level and is better than B&B

Agreed that the Sophia/Melinda thing seems very Ron-like. And so does One Stormy Night. But some things, like the Alex/Gabi thing being dropped and the potential Brady/Sarah pairing feel more like Paula/Jeanne. And I feel the same way about the improved writing for Kayla, Paulina, etc. As for Doug III, I actually like how complex he is, as a character. He wants to be this good guy/hero for Holly, Julie and everybody but at the same time also has a lot of flaws. And being horny is one of them 😂😂 That’s why I wish they had really pushed the feud between him and Tate. I really enjoyed the little bit of it that we got That was definitely true for one actor/character.

Hopefully, Gwen doesn’t make peace with Leo 🙏🙏
