  1. Brook Lynn, FTW! ๐Ÿ‘ It was well past the time for somebody to smack the crap out of Lulu and I sure loved seeing it ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ And honestly, Dante needed to get hit too today. But at least he apologized to Chase lol I'm looking forward to seeing this all play out, and the effect that it's going to have on Gio. Speaking of Gio, he looked good again today ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ And I'm so happy that he promised to stand by Emma in her quest to find what Dalton is up to. It's definitely time for the two of them to have their first kiss.
  2. The set up for a big Kiriakis family mess was almost perfect, and then it was just ended. I do like the mess that we ended up with, but it could be so much messier than what it is right now.
  3. It warms my heart that Body&Soul has basically been erased from existence ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ As for Joy, I canโ€™t help but think that there was a change in direction or a rewrite in her story arc, especially with the way the whole Johnny thing was completely dropped. Giving her a baby was probably more for RSW than anything else Youโ€™re welcome, Henderson ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‰
  4. Happy (belated) 40th Anniversary, Stephen Nichols! The Johnsons were the main focus of today and I really enjoyed it. And we got a ghostly appearance from Adrienne too, which was also nice to see. And, at least Days finally remembered the huge part that Adrienne had in Alex's life. That retcon was always so unnecessary. I like how everything came together for Steve's dinner. It was full of those little sweet, dorky family moments that I always like, especially the trip down memory lane. Steve really has come a long way in 40 years lol and I'm glad that Jada was included in the tribute as well. And, now that Philip is awake, I'm really interested in seeing what's going to happen in that storyline as well. It could go in so many different directions, especially now that Philip decided to lie about Xander. But yeah, Stephanie and Alex definitely need some conflict. Ron's gone lol they don't need to be written as so happy and boring anymore. Stephanie really should have been put back in Philip's orbit. It would've added a really good dynamic to that storyline.
  5. Good to see Aaron back. I was kinda missing the little nerd ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Now, I wonder if Days is going to do what we all suspected they were going to do about the baby lol And, Bo and Hope ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š
  6. I prefer Xander too. And not just because of all the RSW propping ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Is it possible that the top 10s are based whatever areas we're in? Because Days, Chicago PD and Yellowstone are in my top 10.
  7. Her last line to Brook Lynn today had me cursing her out ๐Ÿ˜‚
  8. Yeah... somebody really needs to punch Lulu in the face
  9. They look good ๐Ÿ˜‚ And they're actually his, because he's worn them before when he was peforming
  10. No Pandrew wedding? As for Wednesday, does that mean we're gonna see young Tom and Alice again? And yeah, poor Doug III
  11. Well... ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
  12. Our boy is so talented ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  13. I think Stephanieโ€™s got the same problem ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‰ Yesterday was really good too
  14. Idk about starting off todayโ€™s episode with people who werenโ€™t at Johnโ€™s service, saying what a lovely service it was, but whatevs. There were a lot of good scenes today, regardless. Kaylaโ€™s returned strength was on full display today. She pulled no punches with Xander and with EJ, and I was here for it. She was also used very well in her scenes with Stephanie. I like how Kayla opened up to her about her feelings on Steve shutting down BlackPatch, and that theyโ€™re going to have a dinner for Steve. I enjoyed Maggieโ€™s scenes with Sarah too. I donโ€™t think for a second that Sarah is going to leave Salem with Victoria but she brought up a lot of interesting points about the pull that she has towards Xander, no matter what heโ€™s like. I also enjoyed the argument that she had with Xander. Iโ€™m really interested in seeing whatโ€™s going to happen for them and everybody around them. Belle seems to be in the same boat as Sarah, regarding her feelings for EJ. They still had chemistry in their scenes today. And I like the drama of it all, and how mature that itโ€™s been written lately. Shawn and Belle comforting each other was really sweet as well. I still think the ship hasnโ€™t sailed for them yet lol All the โ€˜One Stormy Nightโ€™ stuff didnโ€™t do much for me though. And the cliffhanger ending didnโ€™t seem all that necessary either. Btw, Jadaโ€™s still living at Stephanieโ€™s? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  15. A long one today. 48 minutes. Today was also an all Vet episode. Not a younger character in sight lol I loved seeing Johnโ€™s wake continuing on at the Pub and also having everyone rehash the adventures that they had with him over the years. It was nice seeing so many flashbacks too, from West Virginia, Stockholm, the reunion on the Pier, the Possession, etc. Marlena and Shaneโ€™s monologue about them all being friends and sticking together through everything was one of the best parts of today. That final scene between Roman and Marlena was really sweet too. And, Iโ€™m very glad that it was mentioned that it was the real Roman who shot and killed Orpheusโ€™ wife ๐Ÿ˜‚ I thought Jack and Jennifer were used very effectively too. They should have been at Johnโ€™s funeral, but I enjoyed Jenniferโ€™s scenes with Julie and Hope and Jackโ€™s scene at Abigailโ€™s grave. It was nice seeing the three Horton women catch up. They do have a natural chemistry that make them seem so much like family. And I agree, Julie. It was Bo and Hopeโ€™s love that made them able to survive everything all these years. There was one moment where the dialogue seemed a little clunky though. Did Julie not remember that they all survived the ship sinking during the. Cruise of Deception, not just Jack and Jennifer lol And, I also think they hinted today as to how But I actually donโ€™t mind it.
  16. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  17. Time for Luna to die. I'm tired of this s*it
  18. Another year that hasn't been good for Soap Vets RIP
  19. Or the budget again. I wish they had found a way to make it work though. Tate and Rachel weren't even in today's episode. I probably would've liked Isabella if I had watched in real time. From what I have seen, she just seemed so easily swayed by Ernesto, similar to how her son is so swayed and beholden to Kristen ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ And you know that if Ron had been writing, Leo would've been the first one to comfort Marlena with binges of Drag Race ๐Ÿ˜‚
  20. Today was the day everybody recreated the flower ceremony from John and Marlena's 1999 wedding ๐Ÿ˜ฅ๐Ÿ˜ฅ And once again, it was beautiful. I also couldn't help but laugh though when Brady brought up John's use of his eyebrow whenever he dealt with his kids or grandkids. It's little lighthearted moments like that, that really have helped make these episodes and this tribute so real and genuine. And even though they couldn't get Alison Sweeney back for John's memorial, I'm glad that they came up with the idea to have Eric read a letter from Sami. The way that the letter was written is pretty much what Sami would have said if she had made it back to say goodbye to John. Marlena and Bo's eulogies were the ones that got me today. I seriously wonder if their's or anyone else's were scripted or improvised. And I agree Bo, John's huge heart and compassion was his true power.
  21. I didn't even think of roasters from GH ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Maybe this roast will take even more than two years
  22. The Cruise of Deception was the first thing that came to mind when I mentioned that Brady might take after that side of the family ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  23. And is the perfect one to carry on Johnโ€™s legacy. He must take after Isabella ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Because from what Iโ€™ve seen, there seemed to be times where she wasnโ€™t all that bright either
  24. Another great episode. Once again, I enjoyed the interactions that characters had with each other. Even with everything going on, Marlena was still strong for her children and grandchildren. Abe, Steve and Shane's and Roman and Kayla's eulogies stood out to me the most. Whoever wrote them, or if they were improvised by the actors, they did a really good job with them. I still think Roman should've had a scene at John's bedside where he told him all of this though. And I couldn't help but tear up a little when Brady led everybody in singing 'Amazing Grace' and during Paul's eulogy as well. You could tell that nobody is really acting here, but something about Christopher Sean has always hit very differently during this storyline, and that was on full display today. I also liked that they mentioned that there was a live stream set up for people who couldn't make the service, because there are plenty of people lol And I'm glad that Bo finally knows the truth about John and everything that happened. Bo demanding that Hope take him to the funeral was classic Bo, and it has me looking forward to tomorrow. Definitely. I've noticed that they've been using that stupid joke music a lot less too and I couldn't be happier.
