See ya, Doug III. Some of us will miss you 😂😂😂 Like I said before, it really is too bad that it didn't work out for him Even if it was unintentional, the writers made his character so complex. And except for the loan shark thing, he was put into the middle of a lot of good storylines. Everything for the teens could have been tied together in one big mess that could have played out for a long time and we didn't really get that opportunity. And despite the acting, Peyton Meyer did work well with some people, particularly Susan Seaforth Hayes. I'm glad that they got to have one final scene together and that Doug III was able to get the necklace back to Julie. And that they were able to make peace. I'm glad that Marlena's ok as well. And I always enjoy scenes of her and Belle, especially since they now seem a lot more in depth and mature. Hopefully, Susan's vibes about Marlena lead to something interesting happening, in addition to what we already know. Speaking of Susan, I guess she's necessary in Johnny's storyline. I'd rather she had spent the entire episode with Johnny and Chanel though, rather than being a pain in the ass with Gabi and Gwen.

If soaps are dying, then the time that they're taking to "die" is making a terminal illness storyline on GH look like nothing 😂😂😂

I'm liking the potential conflict that's being set up between Naomi and Jacob. This is a much better use of them, as a couple, than whatever was going on with June. I really enjoyed Nicole vs. Bill too. Much better than any round of Dani vs. Bill And as much as I'm liking Eva/Tomas/Kat, I think they needed to establish a little bit of a better conflict between him and Kat to finally propel him to turn to Eva. Because this just makes him look bad.

Martha Madison did say she was liking the new writing, and she was right to say so. Belle, sort of, is being positioned as a lead character, similar to the way that Johnny/Chanel and Xander/Sarah are positioned as lead couples, IMO. And as John and Marlena's only biological child, she should be.

I was liking the buildup to Johnny's trial today. It didn't feel rushed and I felt the acting was pretty good too. And the writing for Johnny and Chanel was really strong as well. I love how they've been there for each other through this whole mess. I also wouldn't mind them starting their own investigation into who shot EJ either. I expected Marlena's hypnosis on EJ to not work lol but I don't mind it. Days is allowing this storyline to build up to the big reveal and I'm looking forward to that. Plus, it's always good to see Marlena be used so effectively, like she has been for a while now. As for her fainting today, I hope she turns out to be ok, and that's there more to this storyline than what we saw in the spoiler promo. And I do like the messiness of the whole EJ/Belle situation too. I hope it leads to something really good happening, especially in the aftermath of the trial. Gwen was, once again, not necessary though. She didn't need to have scenes with Brady and Rachel. But it was good to see Brady continue to act like a father. Again, almost like John lol. He's done really well in these past few episodes, with Tate and now with Rachel. Btw, as obvious as they're making what we've all been suspecting about Rachel now, maybe there's a twist coming lol And, it's too bad about Theo and Claire. I wonder if that's going to mean something somewhere down the line.
