No one lol Not only is RH overrated and insufferable, the character of Austin, in general is just a dud. There’s no helping him no matter who plays him.

If Marlena was Sandy. That’s actually pretty interesting to think about. How different the show would’ve been had this happened. No Sami and Lucas, No Shawn and Belle...

One thing that I wish RC would realize that Ben and Ciara are much more tolerable when they’re actually doing something, rather than just kissing each other’s asses Agreed. Even the best soap is going to have boring episodes once in a while. It’s just the structure of the medium. I have no problem so far with the way the storyline is playing out.

So I’ve been watching those 1983 clips that were uploaded recently (including The Great Donut Caper 😂) and I have to ask, was there a reason why Sandy Horton was brought back after so many years only to leave just a little while later and never be seen again? I know she dated Chris for a little while, but it does seem like they were testing the chemistry with Tony, and Eugene as well. And I finally got to see some clips of Gregg Marx as David and I thought he did a pretty good job.

She levitated!! 😂 That was kinda fun to see. I have mixed feelings about EJ being a part of Johnny’s movie. On the one hand, I find it a little stupid because EJ not wanting Johnny to make the movie because he fears Johnny will find out about the way he was conceived sounds like a much better story. On the other hand, I wouldn’t mind seeing this cause more conflict between Chad and Abigail. Somehow pulling Gwen into it would be a good idea as well. I also noticed that DF’s hair wasn’t slicked back today. It looked really good.

They were both all hair back then 😂😂

On the show, I think, though I’m not sure, that Liz had been living with Alice around that time. Behind the scenes, that was when Lemay had really begun to diminish Mary’s purpose on the show and give all the scenes like that to Liz or Ada.

Does he do that to try to hide an accent?

Yeah I figured that. Still be considered a continuity error though.

I really enjoyed today. I was surprised that it was Ava who had Spencer arrested and not Nikolas. I hope this is a sign that the war between them is far from over. And I loved those Sprina scenes, and the fact that the show is taking their time with them. A nice slow burn is exactly what they need. And while they’re doing that, Esme can cause problems for Joss and Cam. An Esme/Joss rivalry could actually be a good thing because it could distract Esme from Spencer and allow him and Trina to grow closer. Britt kicked ass today as well. I love her stubborn streak, and I’m glad that she basically let Carly know that her mindset about Jason is total b.s. As for Brando/Sonny... ehhh it was ok. I’d much rather see Brando at work again 😂😂

On Beyond Salem, Will and Sonny lived in an apartment with a small, kind of ugly kitchen, but on the main show when Johnny was video chatting with Will, Will was talking from a very large, nicely decorated kitchen.

Chloe only has a son, but yeah, I get what you mean. Those all sound like good ideas, and they would be different from what we’ve seen before, rather than just a repeat of a triangle.

Well, if what we saw in that episode wasn’t in the script, all I can say is that JC was one hell of an improv actress.

Yeah, maybe somebody does need to die as part of this possession story. Were any major characters killed off during the last possession? Yeah. He talked about it on the Locher Room. Apparently, Hill physically assaulted Wynne Miller and Nic Coster then threatened him if he ever did anything like that again. They were both fired, but one day Nic Coster ran into Paul Rauch at the studio and offered him the chance to bring Robert back to AW.

Following the cancellation of the other two Corday soaps, Paradise Bay and Morning Star, Heather North, KT Stevens and Edward Mallory all eventually ended up on Days.

That was lucky for her, considering all the stories going around about Lyle B. Hill. Even Nic Coster referred to him as the producer “who shall not be named”

Great post @Nicholas Blair! It does sound like Steve/Alice/Rachel was backburnered for Wayne Addison, (I remembering reading about this mini-story of Steve hitting his head, getting amnesia and think he was still engaged to Alice that ultimately went no where) but it still sounds so compelling and fascinating.

It is going well... despite us not seeing it that much lol I think he's intelligent, just insanely jealous of pretty much every man he's ever seen lol It's a good character trait, but Idk, currently I just find it so annoying.
