The creepy guy is Jason Dunlap, Tracy's former manager and ex-boyfriend that was still in love with her. Earlier in 1980, he convinced her to start singing again. He managed her, all while trying to get back into her life. (I think he got her hooked on pills too so that she could be easier to control, but I'm not sure) But she fell in love with Russ and married him. Eventually, she planned on giving up her singing career to start a family. Jason flipped out and set up Russ to be killed in a car bombing, but Tracy went in to the car instead and was killed. And the real Cecile shows up in June 1981.

I think it's more the EP than the writers, especially considering that she's once again being saddled with a OLTL friend. But you are right about Liz and Chase lol I thought there was a bit of a spark in their scene this week.

Re: Brooke's assaults After watching those episodes, I think there are fans that might consider Bridget's conception a rape. Brooke had a night out with Eric, she had too much wine to drink so he put her to bed. Then, she was said to have invited him in to bed and he jumped at the chance.

The devil going into Susan should have been left out of the promo. It would have been better had we been surprised.

Well, he is a teenage boy 😂😂 Prolonging a Joss/Cam/Esme triangle could be a good thing too though. Getting her away from Spencer would be the best thing for all these characters right now.

Esme's being the sneaky manipulator and I'm enjoying it. I'm guessing that Joss is going to back out of sleeping with Cam at the last minute and Cam, being all hot and bothered, will end up in Esme's bed. Plus, with Esme being so preoccupied with Cam/Joss, she won't be there to see Spencer/Trina growing closer, which is a good thing.

She wanted to save the day, and basically prove to Mac that his life was much better when Iris was in it (which in itself was a bit of rewrite because Iris left Bay City for Texas, she and Mac were on good terms) According to her, Mac being framed for Drew Marsten's "murder" wasn't meant to happen and things just got out of hand, but I wonder if Iris was meant to be the Chief from the beginning. I don't think she was. The Chief storyline started during the writer's strike, but the reveal didn't happen until Lemay showed up.

Probably the latter. Lemay said in his book that in the aftermath of the reveal about Iris, he proposed a storyline with Iris coming to terms with the fact that she's actually Jewish.

He was supposed to be surprised. It was a really half-assed rewrite; I should go back and watch those episodes. Apparently, Mac and Sylvie did have an affair and she got pregnant with Iris. Mac's wife then found about the affair but paid off Sylvie to say that Iris wasn't his biological child. And the only reason Sylvie didn't reveal this in the 70s was because she made the promise to Mac's wife (even though by the 70s, she had been dead for years) and Sylvie was the type of person who always kept her word, or something like that. I'm curious why Lemay chose to rewrite his own story.

That’s true lol Corday really should’ve stepped in, and from the moment he told RC that he wanted to revisit the possession, told him to make it serious instead of silly. I do think he can pull it off. The poison water story on GH wasn’t silly, and I’ve always thought that was the best thing he’s ever written.

In the beginning, I saw him as that typical soap hero, and I did really like him and Sami together back then. But now it’s like the heroics are all gone and he’s just a walking hard on 😂😂 Because there were no stakes or surprises to it. I somewhat enjoyed it, but we all knew how it was going to end.

Well, that was a side of Tripp that we’ve never seen before. Too bad this will all probably be forgotten and there won’t be any residual effects on anybody or their storylines. Good to see ya’s again, Mike Manning and Blake Berris! 😍 And I really do not understand how Nicole went from terrified to horny so quickly 😂😂 In all honesty, I don’t think RC ever really “got” Rafe. This is the third time he’s been involved in some kind of cheating under RC and he was never like that until RC took over.

When you think about it, Gabi’s actually done much worse things than Nick did, yet she still sees herself as the victim. She’s a little sociopathic, if you ask me. Nick may have been a homophobe, but there was a reason for that, and a traumatic one at that. Like it or not, he never tortured an old lady with a defective pacemaker or bargained over a newborn baby’s life.

Yeah he’s a pretty lousy mob hitman when you think about it 😂😂
