  1. Today was... ehhh. There seemed to be some fluff and filler. And a lot of the background music were lousy choices, based on the scenes that they played over. But RSW seemed to be back in his element today. This is the first time he's looked hot since like the writer change 😍😂😂 Too bad that he and Stephanie were boring again though. But I am a little surprised that Steve found out that Alex has a criminal past. I didn't see it coming. Especially because, according to Uncle Ron, Alex was the perfect human specimen that could do no wrong. I actually don't mind it though, mostly because we all know that this wouldn't have happened if Ron was still here. And I also think that it could lead to something interesting happening. As for the mystery of Stephanie's ex, I'm glad that it looks like it's Jeremy, as opposed to some random newbie. And yes, Kayla. Steve did a lot of bad things when he was younger, some of which may not have been redeemable 😂😂 Poor Xander and Sarah though. But I admit, I love scenes like this on soaps. This was classic supercouple angst, and it's always great to see. Their scenes were the best part of today. And yeah, as much as I liked Stefano, all this stuff with Susan, and Rafe/Cat is not necessary. Let him rest.
  2. Gotta admit, I enjoyed Dani in her scenes with Naomi today. She really is at her best when she isn't so extra. Her scenes with Nicole and Martin... no comment 😂 And, I hope Smitty shows up at the concert. Maybe some guy will catch his eye, or Martin's, which causes more conflict for them lol And, it's too bad that Tyrell's girl isn't around anymore. Like he said to Smitty, the concert would have been the perfect place for them to have a first date.
  3. If it were up to me, Now 😂
  4. Based on what he wrote, apparently that was all improvised by JC 😂😂😂😂 Ok.
  5. Well, I admit I like this better than the Roman glory hole 😂😂😂 Too bad that they couldn't use the actual Nat King Cole/Natalie Cole version of 'Unforgettable' though
  6. Of course it would 😍😍😉 And it would work from a storyline perspective too, just to play up that whole Stefano/Marlena dynamic. In addition to my fanfiction of Andrew and Dimitri having had a fling 😂
  7. Do I have good ideas? 😉
  8. The fact that the WSB whore has the balls to call anyone out for betraying the person they love is laughable 🖕🖕 It just makes me like Kai even more. The Michael/Drew scene was the best part of today. Despite the writing for Michael, Rory Gibson is still killing. The emotion, anger, etc. just breaks through so much stronger than it previously did (Sorry, Chad) And agreed, it's passed the time for Lulu to get another slap 👏😂
  9. I think the writing has improved for Javi a little. The paramedic career has given him more of an identity than just as Gabi's assistant or Leo's boy. And he called Leo out on his disgusting treatment of Gwen, thank God 👍 I guess we'll see what happens in the next few months because at this point, I don't really feel the need for a recast. I would rather they had recast Doug III. But maybe things will change.
  10. Which causes Paul to lean on Sonny for support... which causes Will to get jealous and get closer to Dimitri... which pisses off Andrew 😂😂😂
  11. When he gets to the part about how he wrote Alice's breakdown vs. what we saw onscreen 😂
  12. 😂😂😂 Undercover work, which causes conflict between him and Paul.
  13. Fair warning, as good as the book is, he might've stretched the truth or flat out lied a little bit too.
  14. The handsome hunk who should be onscreen full time as Rafe and Cat's boss 😂
  15. A new courthouse establishing shot 😂 I did enjoy the EJelle fight over the trial, mostly because of what it could lead to in the future. It's good drama, and I do like them together, even though I definitely do not see them as endgame. I think Belle just needs someone besides Paulina (Shawn) to confide in about everything she's been feeling lately, which in turn could piss off EJ. And it was a little strange that Chanel wasn't in court for her husband, even with the video of her and EJ still out there. But I thought she was used very well today. Her and Johnny are so good together. But honestly, why do they write Johnny and Tate like they're not cousins? It's almost like Days is missing a story opportunity for them by not letting there be more tension between the two of them in the aftermath of Johnny backing out of the adoption. I did like Tate's new haircut though, and he looked good too 😂😂 I also enjoyed the scenes between the scenes between Sophia and Amy, even though Rachel Boyd's acting was still.... ehhhh. They both raised a lot of good points about each other and their characters. Sophia, having to go to the hospital seems a little too convenient for the plot though. And I do have mixed feelings about Sarah getting involved in that situation. If anything, they should have let this play out for a little longer and have her find out later, maybe until
  16. Congrats to Al! Now, if he could his scene partner at Days a job at Brilliant Minds…
  17. Happy Birthday to this talented, handsome, kind, dreamy gentleman. My huckleberry friend, Colton Little! 🎉🎉🎉🎂😊😊😊😍😍😍
  18. Attempted murder. And yes, there was an audience and jury. A very small one, but they were there, which is nice to see. Days has been cash strapped for so long, that I never thought we'd see something like that again.
  19. They also could have delved into Renee's pre-Salem/pre-Stefano past, and mined a lot from that as well. And from what I've read, it sounded like they teased a pairing between her and Chris too, in the beginning.
  20. Bringing back Nathan would definitely be a better idea than giving Stephanie another random ex. And like you said, him being a doctor could be tied to everything going on with the hospital too. And as Maggie's grandson, that adds another dynamic to a possible feud with Alex. I also think that, if they go there, they should give him a teenage son to mix it up with Tate/Holly/Sophia too. I think the balcony was supposed to be on the far end of the room, that we never see (where the camera is)
  21. Yeah... the conflicts of interest in Johnny's trial are crazy and a little ridiculous lol But I'm glad that we're finally getting an actual trial on Days, instead of just some random hearing in a shoebox office set. It's been a while. And I appreciate the drama that this could all lead to, and the effects that it could have across the canvas. I enjoyed seeing Belle and EJ, both in lawyer mode. It especially seemed like she/Martha were in her element today. And I guess this is what Martha meant when she said that she was really enjoying the new writers work. It's too bad that Marlena wasn't in this episode though. She could have played an important part in all of this too. The One Stormy Night thing is still DOA, but I am a little interested in the idea that Stephanie based it partly on her previous relationships, especially if that previous relationship turns out to be with Philip, rather than some random, brand new ex that she had. That could lead to some actual conflict for her and Alex, which they both desperately need right now. And if they do go there, hopefully it gets weaved into, not only, the Kiriakis family mess but the hospital mess as well. The mysterious package thing was a letdown though. And again, Philip, tuck your friggin shirt in 😂😂
  22. Not really sure why Julie had to rub the fact that she has the necklace back in Gwen's face, but whatevs. At least the necklace is back where it belongs. And, we have a new bookstore set. It's nice that there's a new place for characters to interact and I wouldn't mind Julie becoming the owner of it either. I'm still all for Gabi and Tony teaming up to try to get Dimera back from Philip and Xander, even though I think that there's a twist coming up in this storyline, especially because of some of the things that Tony said today. Hopefully, this makes the messy Kiriakis family situation even messier. The only thing I would suggest is that all of these story arcs be a little more tied together, so that one big climax can lead to massive ripple effects across the canvas. Marlena's scenes with Kayla, and then Julie, were nice too. I'm glad that Marlena has friends to confide in about how she's been feeling lately. That final scene about grief was really sweet. And thankfully, she made it clear that she doesn't feel like she's being possessed. But I do have mixed feelings about another round of Queen of the Night though. And, we finally saw Steve again! It's been a while lol the new writers haven't seemed to have much of an interest in him, but I like the idea of him working for Gabi to be investigating Philip, Xander and Titan. It adds another dynamic to the mess, and hopefully gets Stephanie and Alex out of that book bubble that they're stuck in.
  23. That's why people get fired 😂
  24. Catholic guilt 😂😂 All the more reason why revealing that old Rachel survived the explosion in Paris, and was alive this whole time was a big mistake, because her "death" caused Kristen's miscarriage
