  1. Agreed, with everybody who mentioned the B&B style. That, IMO, is basically the one major problem that BTG has because I'm enjoying a lot of the storylines. But rushing though them or wrapping them up and completely forgetting about them is not the way to go.
  2. Agreed. Shawn and Jadaโ€™s growing relationship is another Ron storyline that the new team should have followed up on. Plus Shawn vs. EJ would be fun to see They have shown a greater interest in Sophia. I remember one episode had such a strong emphasis and on her and Melinda, and why they took the actions that they took. I actually can see, a little bit, why they kept her around, but I still donโ€™t understand why they got rid of Doug III, especially since they made him a lot more complex than they obviously intended too. I agree, he, and his relationship with Ari were the better spoiler for Tate/Holly. And he also couldโ€™ve mixed it up with other characters too.
  3. I see what you mean. Some things have seemed a little boring lately, or just do absolutely nothing for me. But at the same time, I do think it feels more like Days of our Lives again. A lot more than it was last year, or the year before.
  4. That could've worked. And also could've been used to lead into the follow-up storylines for all of these characters. Me, I feel like Marlena needed to be included a little bit more. We didn't really get that much of her POV, IMO, when it came to the fact that her daughter was trying to prosecute her grandson. It also could have been tied to the dreams that she's having and the way that she's been feeling post-John's death
  5. I appreciated the messiness of it all, even though they did miss a few beats. I thought it was plotted out pretty well, and it was nice seeing an actual trial on Days again.
  6. Looks good! I enjoyed the trial, but I'm looking forward to it reaching its end lol
  7. It wasn't the best week, and today was a pretty lousy way to end it, but I still prefer Paula/Jeanne over Ron.
  8. Oh God This is shaping up to be another difficult year for the soaps. I can't even imagine what the In Memoriam segment is gonna be like at the Emmys. RIP
  9. Yeah... today was a bit of a misfire. And what was all that unnecessary nonsense with Leo and his roommate... that took up wayyyyy too much of the episode? Seriously, even if I liked the character, all those scenes were just pointless filler. And unfortunately, we got confirmation that Body & Soul hasn't been erased from existence. At only 32 minutes, with all the filler and the mention of Drag Race, I think we all know who's responsible for today. The creator might be gone but the creation is still there to f*ck up at least one episode a week with stupid crap๐Ÿ–• #GoodLuckBTG I was a little interested in Javi and Ari discussing Javi's past though. I really don't think this storyline would have happened if Ron was still here, and I'd like to see how it plays out. Maybe it'll break up him and Leo ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ And, I'm also interested in seeing the aftermath of Chanel's testimony, especially now that Johnny's fired EJ, and told everyone that the video of Chanel and EJ arguing is a fake. Maybe it'll lead to some good conflict somewhere down the line.
  10. I do to, but they need something better to do ๐Ÿ˜‚
  11. Yeah... Laura just gets more and more pathetic every single day. SMH. And especially after today, I agree with everyone that we're getting Chillow 2.0. And I wouldn't mind it. Chase and Brook Lynn have been boring lately, and an affair/reunion with Willow would be a natural response to Brook Lynn putting off their adoption plans because of everything that's happening with Gio. And speaking of Gio, he needs a girl. Or a guy ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Then after that, he and Emma can get together.
  12. Another round of Xander vs. Sarah. And that was a good slap too ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‚ I always enjoy scenes like this on soaps. It's good drama and Paul Telfer and Lindsey Godfrey work so well together, even when their characters are at odds. For once, Sarah coming off as so mean is understandable lol and I'm happy to go along for the ride with them. Gwen is still not necessary but I am looking forward to when Sarah finally confronts her. Hopefully, it's as good as Xander confronting her today, which I also hope means that Xander is going to be paired with someone other than Gwen. Speaking of Gwen, I would much rather EJ had theorized about who shot him with anyone else than her. I did like Johnny vs. EJ over Chanel's testimony too, but at the same time, it's completely unnecessary. As Johnny's wife, Chanel doesn't have to testify, so what's the point of all this? I don't get it. And, we finally got Marlena's testimony too. I wish it had gone on a little longer but I'm curious to find out if she really is hiding something or covering for somebody.
  13. Agreed. Everything happened wayyyy too fast. Like I've always said about Days, if I wanted prime time pacing I'd watch a prime time show
  14. It seemed very campy, and the last thing their fight was was campy. His reaction at the beginning of today was a little better though ๐Ÿ˜‚
  15. They didnโ€™t really plan this story out too well, even with the recast basically changing Sophiaโ€™s characterization. There definitely needed to be stronger motivations as to why Sophia, Tate, etc. took the actions that they took.
  16. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on today ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  17. Well Hellooo Tate ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ He looked really hot today, and it was nice that he and Holly got to share a little romance. I'd still prefer that Doug III was in Salem, causing problems for the two of them though. It would be better than Sophia suddenly remembering her feelings for Tate because right now that just feels clunky to me. I mean, if Sophia wanted to be with Tate, why would she give up the baby? Even if she didn't want it, wouldn't it be the perfect way for her to hold on to Tate and cause problems for him and Holly? Unless it's gonna come out what we all suspected about the baby. And like I said before, with Doug III gone, who's Ari gonna be paired with now, especially now that it looks like she's going to Salem U in the Fall? I did enjoy her scenes with Sophia though Btw, Belle walking in on Tate and Holly... ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Javi, suspecting that Tesoro might be Sophia's baby could lead to something interesting happening. Maybe it'll break up him and Leo ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I really don't know about Rafe being a spoiler for Chad and Cat. And I'm really looking forward to Marlena being put on the stand. I liked the little red herring that we got in her scenes with EJ today, and hopefully it ends up meaning something.
  18. It's too bad though, because I was looking forward to him being at odds with Carly and Sonny
  19. Thanks! I'll have to check it out
  20. More reason that all of our hatred of Antonio was justified ๐Ÿ˜‚ Were there any other BTS stories from their podcast?
  21. Vaughn looked hot throughout the episode ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ And he already has more chemistry with Britt than he does with the WSB honeypot. But I had mixed feelings about how Lucas was used today. If GH wasn't so biased, they could've had him draw a parallel between Willow being so beholden to Drew the same way that Carly is so beholden to Sonny, because the similarities between the two situations were pretty obvious today. The gasp after Willow slapped him was a little bit much though ๐Ÿ˜‚ And yeah, they really, really want us to hate Drew.
  22. A short one today. Only 32 minutes. Despite some stupid, unnecessary choices, especially those that involved Leo, I didn't think today was completely terrible. Everything surrounding the trial was the best part of today. I liked the build up to the court scenes, even though a lot of it seemed rushed. And I was glad to see that in the Brady/Kristen/Rachel scenes at the Pub, I didn't get the impression of Bristen being on the verge of reuniting, which is a good thing lol I also liked Johnny and Belle discussing everything that happened in court, and about Belle's relationship with EJ. I'm interested in seeing what's going to happen for all of them in the future. I still think Johnny and EJ should be at odds though. I was impressed by Rachel's testimony too. That little girl is a pretty good actress, and she actually makes the character of Rachel likable, despite what we've all suspected and after today, might possibly be true lol I still hope that there's a twist coming though. And yeah, I still don't care about Javi and Leo.
