Thank you. I'm glad people like that idea 😂😂 That's sad 😂 It's a very strange feeling to hate a storyline but at the same time look forward to seeing one of the main players in it, so much. 😂😂

All the more reason that Dimitri should be paired with Mark, so that Peter Porte can show that charm and seduction and sexiness that we know he can do. Have him use Mark at first, as a way of figuring out what Gwen is up to at the lab, and to make Leo jealous but then have him actually fall in love with him.

A little too much Dimera in today's episode. On the one hand, it doesn't really feel that necessary, since Friday's episode revolved around them so much. But on the other hand, I did like the family coming together, and Tony and everybody filling Theo in on Stefano's history and personality, and how it affected his children. And we got a flashback that I think was from one of Stefano's first episodes. But yeah, like we all said before, it's time to move on from Stefano and let the next generations lead the stories. Hopefully, the final shot of today means that that's finally going to happen. Rolf giving EJ Stefano's ring could lead to something interesting happening as well. I wouldn't mind him becoming more villainous, (and less campy and bitchy) especially if he becomes like that on his own, and not because the ring brainwashed him into doing so, or something stupid like that. That would totally ruin every story idea that you can get from that. I also liked how all the Dimera scenes were juxtaposed against scenes of Marlena and her children. The dysfunctional family against the functional family. It was nice to see Marlena and Belle consulting him about how to handle his awful child, and that Marlena was able to discuss how she felt about attending the memorial. I wish those scenes had gone on longer. And Brady finally found his own place to live! 😂😂 Btw Chad, that generic opera music was not Stefano's favorite Wagner 😂😂😂 Getting him away from Leo, and Gwen too, needs to happen. It's the best thing for Peter Porte/Dimitri. And at this point, the only thing that would make this character work... regardless of how breathtaking he is 😍😂😂

Finally, Alex and Jeremy had their showdown! Too bad that it took this long though. This definitely needed to happen before now and much more frequently. The two of them constantly hating on each other and beating the crap out of each other could have been the shot in the arm that this storyline needed. And it also could've caused some good conflict for Alex and Stephanie as well, if she slowly began to fear that Alex was just as toxic as Jeremy. But I did enjoy the showdown today, despite the fact that RSW seemed to be channeling his inner Maurice Bernard once again lol but Michael Roark did a good job. I like that Jeremy had no time for Alex's crap. I'm interested in seeing what happens for all of them once this stalker storyline is finally resolved. And as always, Peter Porte did a good job as well. As much as I dislike this storyline, and the fact that I wish Dimitri wasn't being written as so campy, he plays it well. Kinda similar to Louise Sorel actually. He also did very well once he and Leo were talking in the Square, despite the fact that all the talk of their relationship, and Leo admitting that he still loves Dimitri made me want to throw up 🤮🤮 To me, it was all just more proof that Dimitri/PP is being wasted once again, and that really, really sucks. He's too talented for this nonsense, and he proves it every time. The problem is, and always has been, Leo. This character just ruins everything and everyone that he comes into contact with. He's like a black hole. This would all be working so much better if Dimitri was in love with Andrew, and trying to win him over. Or Will. Or Sonny. Anybody but Leo. Any character that doesn't suck the life out of everything like he's a damn Sanderson sister lol. Plus, regardless of my hatred for Leo, there are so many more story possibilities if Dimitri was in love with Will, Sonny, Andrew, etc. But now that Rafe has shown up to arrest Dimitri, maybe he'll finally get one of those better story possibilities. I hope. As for Eli, I'm glad to hear that he and Lani and the kids are moving back to Salem. I'm looking forward to seeing how they're weaved back into the canvas. And, it was nice seeing Julie so happy.

They've pretty much been vague about it until now. I can see how some fans might think that this was all unnecessary, but I didn't mind it. Like I said before, mostly because Hope's been completely cleared.

I'm glad they didn't take that approach. I like Stefano, but it's time to move on lol move on to the next generations

Hmmmm... I wonder if Friday is gonna be as icy as the Bereavement Book Club was Looking forward to Jeremy vs. Alex though, despite the storyline lol maybe we'll finally get a knock down, drag out brawl 👊😂 And as much as I hate this storyline, I am looking forward to seeing Dimitri 🥰🥰

It definitely was a long time coming for Roman lol I can't remember if Roman had any moments like that when they had that celebration of Stefano's death at the Pub, back in 2016.

RIP Stefano. Though I thought it was nice that today was very vet-heavy and that everyone came together to finally put Stefano to rest, for good, I feel like there were also some mistakes made. And Dimitri definitely should've been a part of the memorial. Like, where the hell did he go? Regardless of Peter Porte, it would've been nice to get his perspective on Stefano, the grandfather that he never knew. The one thing his character needs more than anything is to be taken away from Gwen and Leo, and put into somebody else's orbit, and today could've been the chance for that to happen, or at least be set up to happen. And for the writers to not take that chance is pretty stupid. And, I still say that they're missing the mark with Johnny and Chanel. Johnny should never have been the one to suggest the memorial, regardless of how close he and Stefano were. He should have disowned the entire family, and been completely on Marlena's/the Brady's side. It would just make sense, considering everything that he found out last year. I also feel like it would be very karmic for the Dimera's, as a whole. And Chanel should be the one trying to mend fences between them, which in turn, could cause good conflict for her and Johnny. It feels like such a missed opportunity. But I did think that Carson did a good job today, especially when he gave that monologue at Stefano's urn. The flashback to Stevano was a little unnecessary though lol I also thought Theo was a little douchy to Abe at the beginning, but at the same time, I think it makes sense based on the storyline. Having the two of them continue to be at odds could lead to something interesting happening, especially if Liam gets involved in it somehow. I'm looking forward to when Theo finds out about his part in the kidnapping. And while I'm not a fan of Kate becoming jealous of Roman and Marlena, I thought she was used pretty effectively today. Including her in the memorial was the right choice. I especially liked the little scene between her and Chad, and that Days remembered their relationship. I'm also glad that Roman, and then Marlena got to have their closure moments with Stefano as well. And with the way that today ended, I'm curious to see if that's going to end up meaning something. Like I said... as bad as it was, it was still worth watching 😉😂😂 Dimitri needs a much, much better storyline than this.

All that talk about Ari's internship and we didn't even get to see her first day. SMH. Overall, today was a mixed bag, but it was still much, much better than that pathetic excuse for an episode that we got on this day last year. I thought Rafe and Gabi did a pretty good job, as she absorbed the news about Stefan. As insufferable as Rafe can be sometimes, I think he and Gabi work really well together as brother and sister, almost like Brady and Belle. And I'm curious to see what's going to happen now that Gabi knows the truth about everything, and how it could affect her relationship with Philip. I still don't think Stefan's dead though. I can't help but think that there's going to be a twist. Like, that it was Jake's body in Alamainia or something. Too bad that Louise Sorel is done for now. Maybe she'll come back later on, if there's still some secrets to be revealed. Ari comforting Gabi was nice as well. And, I'm still a little interested in the idea of Rafe and Kristen possibly teaming up, mostly because of all the stuff that it could lead to. The Bayview scenes were kind of annoying though. I liked that Tate was there to comfort Rachel, but I'm just getting tired of this whole Bayview plot point, in general. But Tate did look hot at the beginning in Holly's dorm room, despite the awkwardness 😍😂😂 As for Sophia, I probably would like this storyline with Holly a lot more if I still liked her. At this point, just kill her off. Days really should have stuck with Doug III as the primary source of conflict for Tate/Holly and the rest of the younger crowd. Not only were there more, and better story possibilities, but acting wise, Peyton Meyer was still better than Rachel Boyd. That crazy, wild eyed look that she was giving us all throughout today was making my eyes hurt 😂😂
