JJ, FTW! 💪 Him ripping Cat to shreds was definitely a long time coming. Casey Moss really got a chance to flex his acting muscles in these last two episodes and it’s good to see him do that. He’s fit back onto the canvas so well. Maybe he’ll end up being the one to kill Clyde lol him, Aaron, anybody. Speaking of Aaron, I liked his scene with Holly today and how she comforted him over everything that happened with Cat and Mark. And I like that Aaron confessed to Holly that he told Tate to pursue Sophia. The two actors worked really well together. I don’t see Holly and Aaron as a couple but I could see a really good friendship develop between the two of them. And yeah, Tate looked hot 😍😂😂 Him and Sophia actually do make a nice couple but I also like the mess that they’re in lol I actually laughed a little at Tate’s mistake at the end of today. It could actually help build more sympathy for Sophia and I wouldn’t mind that at all. I’m looking forward to seeing where things go from here for the two of them and Holly. Just don’t turn Sophia into Jan. And yeah, Rafe’s a dick but I’m liking this storyline. It’s a very realistic conflict and it somewhat plays into Rafe’s character and Jada’s too. Plus, as a couple, they were really boring lol so this is finally something good for them to do. It could go in so many different directions but hopefully, Rafe’s decision at the end of today is not one of them. Having Gabi and Paulina continue to be a part of it could be really interesting as well.

JJ vs. EJ? That escalated quickly lol I wouldn’t mind a JJ/Gabi/EJ triangle, even though I could also see some fans thinking that it was really just a poor substitute for Eric/Nicole/EJ or Stefan/Gabi/EJ. But I think it’s a good way to weave JJ back onto the canvas and also give him some kind of edge, after everything that EJ may or may not do to him in the future. I didn’t mind them almost throwing down in the square today. Maybe at some point, we’ll get a good brawl from the two of them. But yeah, DF really needs to stop with those angry roars. I did like the way EJ was written today though. He seemed tougher and more confident, and like he could be a successful villain to JJ. I think that’s the way he should be written, and it would be a lot better than the way he was written in that rivalry/bitchy pissing contest that he had with Stefan. JJ and Gabi’s conversation was ok, even though it missed one important beat. At first, I was wondering why JJ was talking about how upset he was over what Gabi did to Julie and not about what she did to Abigail, but then I remembered who the head writer was. I’m actually looking forward to the potential conflict that was started today between Rafe and Jada. I could totally see Rafe having a problem with being demoted to detective and Jada staying on as commissioner, especially with the way that GG plays it. I know it’s not intentionally written like that, but with the way he, and Elia Cantu play their characters, it really is a wonder how Rafe and Jada don’t fight constantly lol Chanel/Johnny/Joy/Alex/Stephanie is finally get interesting to me as well. That’s how it needed to be from the very beginning. Not rushed and lazy and full of stupid jokes. And of course Ron would write a Playgirl story arc for Alex, after the real life photoshoot 😂 Btw, I’m with Paulina. I could always go for some mozzarella sticks too 😂😂😂

Good theory! It makes me think of another question that I asked before: if all those ideas were disliked so much, to the point that they’re basically being erased from the continuity, why was it all approved in the first place 😂

They sure do love pairing Tabyana with tall guys lol wasn’t really the best first meeting for the two of them though. I hate when they make Trina sound like Joss. But we’ll see what happens. The actor looks like Adain Bradley. As for Robert and Holly, it’s just like with Heather: what was the point of everything that happened if they were going to be written out? I don’t get it.

I wouldn’t recommend it. But not because it was bad, but because there was so much turnaround from like May 86 to May 87. Literally half the cast was written out. It even confused me a little and I love AW lol 1988 is a bit of a mixed bag too, because that year had 4 different head writers and the strike writers as well.

I see what you mean; they all should still have some of an edge, like they did when they debuted. Ron had the chance with Tripp but he didn’t take it. Hopefully, if we get a JJ/Gabi/EJ triangle or if they JJ will get some of his edge back

I enjoyed most of it, though there were some things that I didn’t like either. But, I do have to admit that I find the first half of 1989 to be brilliant.

Damn. Days was late today. Too bad today was a little… ehh though. I’m glad to finally see JJ back in Salem. He’s a legacy character and he should be frontburner and leading the show right now. There’s still so much that they can do with his character. His scenes with Julie were really nice too. And I loved that the two of them spoke about Doug and the things he did for JJ. The Body&Soul stuff… Skip. And again, poor Javi. He deserves so much better than Leo. I do like his relationship with Gabi though. She really does need that friend or whatever that she can talk to and confide in. And that’s a big Hell No on Joy and Leo being so friendly. To me, that just seems like another f*ck you to Nancy.
