Days: Casting news
So, I'm guessing he's gonna be Dougie's son. I don't mind it. Peyton Meyer was pretty good on Girl Meets World. He actually came to mind when I heard they were aging Johnny in 2021. And it's always good to get some new blood.

Today was a long one. 48 minutes. And a tough one too 😥 Especially when Julie went upstairs to see Doug. I don’t know if I would have included music playing over that scene but I didn’t really mind it either. You really have to give major props to SSH for having to mourn twice, one of which in front of a camera. They really were the perfect couple, both onscreen and in real life. I like the way everybody absorbed the news of Doug’s death, and how they all remembered how he was a part of their lives. We got a real sense of family and community in today’s episode and that always be an important dynamic on soaps. Hope was the one who really stood out to me today. And it’s great to have her and Shawn back on the canvas. I didn’t expect her to go to Bo’s bedside and tell him about Doug. The flashbacks were great too. You could tell that they weren’t used just to pad the episode out. Every single one of them served a purpose. And there were some that I’ve never seen before, like the one of Doug and Maggie dancing lol I wonder what would have happened if they had actually gone there with Doug/Maggie in the late 70s. And it was nice that they finally let us know that Eli does have a relationship with his brother, Scotty.- DAYS: November 2024 Discussion Thread

Another Thanksgiving tradition- DAYS: November 2024 Discussion Thread
Exactly. Chad and Julie have such a great relationship and for him not be there for her now, and at Doug’s funeral just doesn’t feel right. I really think they should’ve and probably could’ve waited to do this Clyde stuff so that Chad and JJ could be there. Hell, in that BTS video that was shot on Bill Hayes’ birthday, Billy Flynn was the one who was holding onto him, so clearly the real life relationship has to be just as strong as the onscreen one.- DAYS: November 2024 Discussion Thread

Happy Thanksgiving y’all! 🦃🦃 I just wish today had been a little better. And had a happier ending, even though we all knew that this was going to happen sooner or later 😥 I thought Julie was used pretty well today though. And I’m glad that we got an update about Bo and Hope too. And fair warning, the final scenes are a tearjerker. But I also have to admit that I’m a little annoyed right now because it looks like Chad/Billy Flynn and JJ/Casey Moss aren’t going to be a part of Doug’s funeral and that’s f*cking ridiculous 🤬🤬 Idk if there was a budget or a scheduling issue or Ron was just being a petty, lazy bitch again but this crap with Clyde really needed to be put on hold until after Doug’s funeral so that Chad and JJ could be there for their family. That definitely could have happened, considering the way this show gets written sometimes. And for f*ck’s sake, if he could give the world to Robert Scott Wilson and Greg Rikaart, he could do more for actors and characters that fans actually want to see and who actually deserve to be on the canvas. I really, really hope I’m wrong about this but it doesn’t look like it right now. The rest of the episode was ok. And welcome back, Jack and Jennifer, and Eli and Lani! I know some of y’all don’t like Missy but she is Jennifer lol and seeing her slap Cat and rip her to shreds was great. Just as great as when JJ did it. I do still like the character of Cat, but it was well deserved. And at first, I was a fan of Paulina trying to persuade Eli and Lani to move back to Salem, but after Abe made his suggestion to Lani… Poor Abe/James Reynolds deserves so much better than this. And I’m also glad that they had Gabi actually speak to her daughter for the holiday. Btw, Will and Sonny are seriously having a tofu turkey for Thanksgiving? 🤮🤮🤮😂- DAYS: November 2024 Discussion Thread
