I could agree, just to see Rena back on my screen, but the cast as so bloated with a bunch of crap stories. Where would she fit? All she'd be right now is a basically a talk to.

Ami the only person who liked Burgess Jenkins? He seems to be hated for no reason. I will say that I wasn't fond of Robert Newman as Ashland. He just didn't work for me.

I too love Courtney's energy, and like her better here than on B&B. I just wish they would use her! She's being totally wasted! Can they have her mix it up with Devon? Or go after Chance? I wouldn't mind seeing her in a rivalry with Abby, especially if she's attacking the boardroom and the bedroom! she just needs something to do. Let's a take a damn break from the Newmans for a year or 6!

The problem is that viewers can't be happy! They get new characters and they're "forced" but then they're tired of the same characters. I personally am all for character rotation and with the nature of soaps, new characters are ALWAYS needed. Some work, some don't, but things get really tired when characters aren't given a rest. Even when a new character comes along that works, people get mad, TPTB hear that (of all things) and the new character is unceremoniously cast off so that the show returns to it's repetitive tired status quo. SHOWS NEED CHANGE!

What happened to Sharon's degree that she worked so hard for? It's really stupid, so much so that you can't even take business stories seriously because you know it's not going to stick. Remember Dark Horse? It really sucks, because in my own fantasy storyline, I introduced a Black family that own a skin and haircare business and would do business with Jabot. That would be a great spinoff, which I will start writing!

Thank you! It's nice be heard without being shot down! This is why an Edge of Night reboot could work right now! There's a show that could rock the arc based story format!

I wouldn't say one day a week, because that's not the nature of daytime soaps, but they could trim the fat and be more concise. There's no reason for such bloated casts that are mostly filler. You could have a main cast of about 15, and then have everyone else as recurring. Focus on clear storytelling and character development. Spyder Games, while a fail, unfortunately I might add, had the right idea. It had a beginning, middle, end with enough threads to continue. No episode was just filler and characters came and went as needed. That could work with the right team.

Why don't they try creating some new soaps? Do we need 12 hours of Today Show? More 1 season talk shows of the same damn nature?! With the amount they're willing to shell out to create these shows, and pay these hosts her year, it should be nothing to create a few new soaps, OR slide that money to the remaining soaps. Something! I have my own idea for Y&R spin-off, or for that matter an B&B extension about about modelling agency.

Yeah! One flat ass for another! Pfft. Tanner isn't that great an actor either. He always comes across unnatural, like he's very directed in every move.
