  1. The last thing Josh Taylor needs at this point in his life is a microphone. God bless.
  2. IIRC the Madison mother stuff only started up after the writing change.
  3. I think she's been mentioned exactly once during the course of the messy PC revisit in 2013, possibly only in reference to either Lucy and Kevin mentioning having two daughters. I wouldn't swear by it, but nonetheless AFAIC PC is canon despite the murky situation surrounding it to this day. Which I think at best you can reference in a line or two of funny dialogue. (And at some point in future I would like to make reference to Livvie Locke, and possibly even give her a kid.) I cannot imagine Maxie being chained to that inanimate steel ingot for the rest of our days. That pairing was so dull even the first time round. The Spixie revisit has been lovely and more mature, and I would much prefer keeping them together and giving them a proper wedding.
  4. You and I are the only two people who have seen that movie and are left alive.
  5. I kind of like the idea of pub events, etc. becoming a regular occurrence. It's a natural part of normal local life. Reminds me of something out of Eastenders, or when GH used to regularly give the hospital characters Girls Night Out, karaoke night, etc. in the 2000s. (Something they should still do)
  6. Both are which are terrible ideas for long-term pairings IMO, but definitely something the show would do. My friends know my longtime idea for Michael (going back to Chad's earliest years) was actually putting him with... Maxie. It came out of Chad being such a good straight man and a bit Bambi-eyed, particularly in the early 2010s, and would create a sort of unusual sort of fish out of water situation for Kirsten's Maxie as having to perceive herself as 'the older woman' while also being the screwball comedienne. And they'd get involved first in an unwise ONS and then business. I held onto that concept for a long time lol. I still think it might work someday with Rory Gibson who's very different but it is definitely not front of my mind anymore. Today the idea of putting Michael with a driven physician who matches his intensity and doesn't need him the way all his other love interests have (and may have a dark past or ties to the Asian Quarter, etc.), or someone like Serena or Zoe is more my speed atm. I would consider remodeling Serena as a Lucy-type in business but I would want her to be less of a flighty schemer than her mother, especially since I would be introducing her adopted sister Christina under some other name as a lead and she would be the real troublemaker (an activist writer and possibly cracked therapist). Serena would be sort of the light-sided counterpart. I would also want her to be competent, and they too rarely show Lucy to be that today which is a shame. But maybe Serena could swoop in to help her mother take back majority control of Deception from all these interlopers (BLQ, etc.) who keep putting her down every time there are literally any workplace scenes. That shít drives me nuts.
  7. It's where they will discover she is an imposter: A 30 yo grifter passing herself off as the real Peaches, whose desiccated corpse is squirreled away in some fruit cellar like Psycho.
  8. Yes, it's on the last page but it's been around.
  9. Cady was a pretty big hit with viewers as Rosanna.
  10. You didn't post anything, dude. You just quoted my msg.

Always nice to see them together again. The Doctor and Tegan had a great twofer together in the wraparound segments for the Tales of the TARDIS reshowing of Earthshock as well, talking about their time together - I think that's on YT. And what a hoot to see Turlough.
  12. I would consider a few ideas for Michael, including someone new (like a driven Asian doctor in the Patrick or Monica mold). Serena is a good option but one who I think might be a bit too pat and obvious initially - two core kids. Maybe if you play up the business aspect between them with her being a cosmetics tycoon/philanthropist like Dominique or Lucy. I do also think there is room for Michael and Willow to have hate sex lol, or for her to keep trying to land him again before she inevitably flames out for good. Then there's the Zoe Ward thing Guza almost did but who never made it onscreen. In the case of Serena and Zoe you have characters who are essentially new, blank slates. Same goes with creating someone from scratch. There's just many strong options for a strong new lead. None of which involve playing it cheap and lazily doling out the same story Michael has already done before with the nearest low-cost dayplayer you can find. Invest in new personalities and characters up front. If Kimberly McCullough had come back in 2025 and not 2005, would Frank have created a new character like Patrick Drake for her or would he just have had her float around among his already-cast actors? It's depressing.
  13. I preferred MEK with the beard and accent tbh. That at least made Martin a bit different. Without them he's just Sad Tad from late period AMC again (albeit less haggard and heavy - Michael looks great) whining and doing shítty stuff. Waste of my time. But Martin always was, really.
  14. A lot of people say 'unhoused' these days. I find the word a bit precious personally but litigating its usage isn't really a BTG-specific issue, it's something to take up IRL.
  15. There's no chance Vernon is cheating, but the whole fakeout subplot has gotten old for me lol. Just move it along. I do like the Shanice/Ted/Leslie scenes and Shanice is a great rival for Leslie. They really go at it hammer and tongs. I still prefer Ted with June (who ably handled Leslie in a very different way) and hope that comes back but I'm not hating this material.
  16. Honestly he just looked haggard and uncomfortable in the role to me. I didn't buy him as a doctor and it was an odd fit for JDP from the beginning. He looks better recently, with a beard etc. I do like those scenes for Alexis too even if I'll never care about Scout, but yes that is a very accurate description of her current predicament lol. I do wish they'd have Alexis talk about the Cassadine parallels.
  17. I was for them hooking up again, but not getting serious. They didn't do enough with that though. I am fine with Ned and Olivia staying as they are unless an interesting opportunity for her presents itself. Scorpio is sadly off the table. I would bring on either Serena or Zoe Ward (or Richardson, whatever they called her offscreen) for Michael, or someone entirely new and interesting. Or several people lol. But they don't conceptualize and create new contract characters anymore on this show. They just seem to hire people they like lol. Even Gio was a example of liking Mazza from some other audition IIRC. That's fine from time to time, but it's not viable for a whole ensemble.
  18. I heard that from a few people lol. I was dreading it. Let's not put Alexis with the Manson Girls, even at her lowest lows. I frankly don't think Alexis needs huge story at this point tbqh. But I would give her something decent. I think it's a real error they didn't go full throttle on an Alexis/Jason custody battle over Danny.
  19. True. The closest she came recently was, again, the Mulcahey interrupt lol. He clearly loved NLG, wanted Alexis back practicing law and tried to bring on Lane Davies from their shared work at Santa Barbara (someone involved claimed they were not allowed to improv last year lol, I assume that was a production thing). It didn't go anywhere, but it was worth a thought. I would've watched them together again minus how shitty Cameron Lewis treated her. I do think Alexis is somewhat spent but I wouldn't get rid of her. Nancy always works hard and is compelling enough. I'd probably put her with a woman at this point lol.
  20. I love the Andrew and Megan relationship, so I would never give it up. I do think looking at it recently today they may or may not have pivoted very quickly from testing her with Heinrich/Cain when they knew they couldn't keep Jessica permanently (and knew John Loprieno was quitting, leaving KW's Tina adrift) to doing something with a more closed loop, i.e. an unattainable romance with Andrew, a devoted man of God. OTOH Andrew was Malone's self-admitted personal avatar/self-insert onscreen (per his old website Q&As) in some ways, and Andrew's passion for Megan never really goes away as long as Malone is at the show. (And Andrew continues to have complicated ties to unattainable women - first Marty, then married Téa Delgado). I think if JT had agreed to stay they might have gone ahead with her torn between Andrew and Cain, or even pitted her against Tina again like the '80s for a quad. I love the Max/Megan relationship both from what I've seen in the '80s and here in the '90s, and they do have some lovely scenes when he returns and again on her deathbed. But I think their relationship is where it's supposed to be. If Tuck had signed another contract and Max had gotten sick of Blair and Luna, who knows?
  21. Todd was never meant to be a long-term character initially, including during the major story he will kick off in spring-summer. It was only during the course of those events that they saw Roger Howarth's talent and decided to build him out.
  22. I'd bring back Zander today. I had always given him up as permanently dead until I took one look at Ghost Zander a few years ago when he appeared to William Lipton's Cameron and said 'yeah.' Chad is a stone cold silver fox today. Why not have him come back out of witness protection or WSB custody or something to awkwardly attempt to re-form something with Liz or his son? It doesn't need to be a huge long-term thing but would pass the time for a while, maybe be a spoiler to Liz and Lucky or whoever. The same goes for Brad Maule's ghostly appearances as Tony, though Tony would stay dead - I don't remember who it was on the forum who suggested he return as some sort of scheming lookalike con man who tries to get one over on the family, but I think Brad would kill that role. Why not?
  23. I think the audience at best grudgingly tolerated Bree's Jessica for the first 2-3 years due to the terrible writing (and the unpopular pairing with Antonio) until Tess. Then she garnered fans with her and Nash. I was never a Tess fan. I tolerated Bree's Jess, I think she worked hard and had some good stories or pairings (Brody and Jessica) but it was never the same for me.
  24. GH seems to have a strong relationship with Gagnier, who has apparently coached or trained a lot of their current young stars; her name keeps popping up. And of course she did Frank a solid by replacing Sherilyn Fenn who backed out as Jennifer Smith at the last minute in 2015. I guess she and Frank go way back to the Rauch years. Good for her. I agree on that period. I pretty much tuned out a ton of 2016-2022/23 or so, and while I watched certain bits and pieces or storylines here and there, there's so much particularly from those Passanante/Altman dregs years that is unthinkable to me. I forgot about James DePaiva playing a pervy doctor who preyed on Kiki, after NLG supposedly rebuffed a pairing with his recurring player. And then there's the long period where both the intolerable Gladys and Willow's insanely creepy cult mom (Harmony) just... hung around?
  25. I liked ALW on Another World, and was pleased when she showed up on GH. I was less pleased with the character when it moved towards Jason. Willis couldn't handle that amount of frontburner and she became deeply annoying. But it was never her fault.
