  1. IMO Beto should've waited. His behavior over the last few months has also been, well, stupid.
  2. I think (like a lot of platforms) Netflix is caught between making quality television (and I think they do make some of that, in addition to making some schlock) and having to learn how to function like a real business in what is still a fairly new landscape, which they pioneered. That leads to a lot of schizophrenic and often backwards behavior, claiming to want one thing while doing another and trying to suddenly make hard-nosed decisions like a major network while claiming they're not like the networks. Well, they are and they aren't and they need to figure that out.
  3. "#SaveODAAT" is now trending. Worth a shot, it worked for Brooklyn 9-9.
  4. I don't believe they didn't have enough. I believe Netflix is trying too hard to 'get tough' on their numbers and metrics and as a result certain shows are getting dinged. They greenlight a lot more expensive schlock than this.
  5. Sigh. Apparently it'll be shopped around, who knows.
  6. More casting - this character is likely to be what was described as The actor's Instagram is, uh, compelling.
  7. As I expected, Bryan Singer has been quietly dropped from what was intended to be his next project - this is a tidbit dropped in the second piece below. But that's just the tip of the iceberg of this truly insane story involving several Hollywood creeps and a very ambitious would-be starlet who sounds terrifying. (Her latest mark: beloved British horror director Neil Marshall)
  8. I don't know why I find that information hilarious.
  9. This is all pretty outrageous, and yeah, throw the book at 'em:
  10. Wayne and Roman always got a raw deal from the show and I still don't like it. But Drake and Deidre were hot as hell in the '90s. That's a fact! John and Marlena earned their own legacy and their longevity AFAIC. Most recast couples in that kind of unique situation can't say the same.
  11. I don't think so. I'm not sure they've filmed Season 4 yet. Oy:
  12. Apparently most of the kids didn't know. I've heard tell that Lori's kid is super spoiled and didn't attend classes, but that's thirdhand hearsay. I'm sure they're not all brats (probably). That being said, they got caught and they deserve what they get. But no, I wouldn't need them banished from entertainment. It is pretty foul/hilarious though. I mean, come on, making them dress up?!
  13. If some of the defendants actually had photos of their kids doctored to make them look like 'athletes' that is... sick and hilarious
  14. I'll be surprised if they face major career damage tbh. This is something you can PR, unlike a #MeToo scandal. It's absolutely something they should pay for, but career-wise I think Lori at least can recover. (And William H. Macy certainly will) For better or worse, owing to her years on TV she can work that circuit to make her case. Has Hallmark really not employed anyone with a spicier past than this? I find that hard to believe.
