This is all getting bigger faster than I anticipated.

I'm a little stunned but I'm seeing comments (and a few articles) about Lecy all over calling her the breakout star of this season - and I think it's kinda true. They've given Becky's story major thrust. I never thought I'd say that about that character ever again after Season 5 of the old show.

According to the site staff in the comments section at TV Line, the show remains ABC's #1 comedy and #2 show in their key demographics. Which we knew, actually, it's been reported before but some people didn't.

No surprise.

But the thing is, that's not true outside his (shrinking) base. The GOP Congress will not see it as a good thing. Nor will most of the public. The polling is already against him, especially on a shutdown. Now Pelosi has him on tape and has it hung around his neck. Sigh:
