  1. That's what I thought.
  2. Brittany Allen has become a minor star in horror and genre cinema and is doing great work - she is unrecognizable, talent-wise - but she never improved while on AMC, IMO.
  3. Was Taggert and co. the whole run with Joan Collins as Alex, Phillip and Olivia and Richard being euthanized, or am I thinking of Labine? I am not super-educated on GL changeover.
  4. This may or may not be the man either Larry Mollin or Rosin mentioned in interviews as Spelling having a grudge against Shannen for introducing her to, who was allegedly abusive. Several of the Heights people got other Spelling jobs when it went under. Cheryl Pollak [sic] went on to play Susan, Alison's college friend who dated Billy on Melrose Season 3. I liked her and she had a great look, but looking back recently I'm not sure if she was much of an actress. God, I'd forgotten all about Joe. I still can't understand how that went on so long. It seems like an Aaron choice. Vincent Young was hired off a hit series of Pepsi commercials or something, IIRC, and was their nth attempt to clone Dylan. He was not much of an actor, was locked off to Donna's story, and when Dylan returned he was rendered completely superfluous. I seem to remember by the end he was off in some C-plot with Josie Davis or something, but I barely watched any of the last two seasons.
  5. I think it's just historical loyalty, which I can understand to a point. Missy was a lifer and put in a lot of great years. And I'm sure Missy still has many fans in the audience, casual and otherwise, who likely don't know of her stances or behavior. But if it was me, I'd have made a clean break. And tbh glancing at her IG I don't think Missy is really interested in acting or glossing herself up as Jennifer anymore; she seems much more focused on being a grandmother and being with her family. In that position I can say more power to her, even if I find her politics repugnant. But yes, I'd let her go be with her family and make Cady full-time.
  6. ^^ This is why I voted to put Kate out to pasture years ago. I like LK and all but there is almost nothing in town Kate has not slept with. If a dude comes to town, dollars to donuts he will be [!@#$%^&*] Grandma Kate! That would be interesting, because the dynamic of a soft/sweet male with a more ambitious or scheming woman is too rarely explored in daytime seriously. And the age difference angle would also be interesting. It's too rarely done.
  7. Carrie-Anne Moss (Models Inc.) is many lightyears from Hooker Hell in her new major role, both onscreen and voice, in the video game Horizon Forbidden West, a series increasingly far too relevant to our times.
  8. Taibbi and co. have been on the wane even in more ardent leftist circles for awhile now, but this may just about kill that. I could swear Taibbi, like Glenn, is now a regular Fox News panelist.
  9. That's a good point. This will summon @DRW50 to the discussion, as they have never gotten over this story and I don't blame them.
  10. Thank God.
  11. I think they wanted Emma to stick around, but she refused. I loved Susan Keats. S6 is the last season I took seriously. It got pretty trashy but I enjoyed a lot of it. Apparently the Ray story got away from them.
  12. You're too good at this.
  13. This show doesn't do "dramatic" "storylines".
  14. Be serious, Khan - that is an actual storyline!
  15. We're not going to war with Russia. It's just awful, tragic and ugly. But I sure do wish Taibbi, Greenwald and most of the staff of the Intercept were right there on the ground at Kiev Ground Zero.
  16. When it comes to the 2020s, in the immortal words of Dr. Kimberly Shaw, it's not what it looks like - it's worse: Putin:
  17. It would've been so easy to say the latter. The error's just dumb.
  18. Not surprised at all. It is a waste, but I am glad if they actually invested in children.
  19. Lord. Didn't she send him a decree that Lee burned or something? While he was out of town? Wasn't that key plot material?
