  1. So is it still only a live offering on FreeVee? Surely not.
  2. Bidenworld guru Anita Dunn talks to Politico about the June debate and his exit. I agree with some of what she said, and I think other aspects are messy and complicated.
  3. If she takes the WH, Joe's legacy will also be embedded in history even more than it already was, as he made the ultimate sacrifice of power and made certain to usher in the first Black female president.
  4. Absolutely astonished and thrilled they did this lol It's time for yet another Republican moment of clarity with (checks notes) Meghan.
  5. Since they apparently weren't the ones heckling Harris, I have no issue with them. He also persisted with 'asylum' being mental hospitals. He was also repeatedly essentially pleading with Biden to return again.
  6. This is absolutely a panic press conference.
  7. It's not far off! Seriously, he is free-associating more than ever, totally incoherent. He is now begging Joe to come back. "He had the right to run!"
  8. This empty, silent podium is taking on a Jeanne Dielman vibe. Trump is just babbling. I've rarely seen him like this.
  9. The Beltway will moan but get over it - they're complicit anyway, despite the occasional clucking like this, they enjoy tearing strips off Vance and the couch jokes as much as the rest of us. The days of two sets of decorum rules for Democrats and Republicans need to end. Winning is the only calculus that matters now.
  10. Another very candid interview with Pelosi (non-paywall) from the New Yorker. I wish she'd waited a bit longer to talk about this and I still nurse pretty sore feelings about what happened and how Joe was treated, but it's become a very complicated situation and outcome to say the least, almost 3 weeks later. And we can't say Pelosi is not willing to do whatever is necessary to save the country from the right, including possibly burning a friendship of 40 years. We shot it in the belly and left it in a lot in Vegas to die, Jake.
  11. Dead obvious. And a lot of the accounts are never banned, and many lay dormant for years. GH got much closer to airdate ever since COVID.
  12. Good thing there's not enough of 'em. They weren't just outmatched in that hangar yesterday, they're clearly outmatched in their own demographic online now. I would not lump most of the potential youth vote/brat summer kids in with these dead-enders.
  13. Walz has gotten a pretty good response despite the weeping and gnashing over Shapiro from the Beltway. They can't really argue with how well he's been rolled out (and the military stuff is just paperwork, it's not stolen valor or lies).
  14. Whereas Politico actually leads in getting this right, amazingly enough:
  15. I remember that. The Gil Gerard thing is news to me lol
  16. ...And now: Trump announces he will be doing a 2 PM press conference at (where else) Mar-a-Lago.
  17. To be clear, this means these states have gone from Republican-leaning to toss-up, not vice versa. Something is happening, is all I'll say about this latest stuff. And I am pleased to see mainstream media starting to openly discuss on television more and more just where the hell Trump is and why he is not campaigning. If you poke around the MAGA corners of online even they are starting to ask as panic grows among the slightly more rational members.
