  1. More context on the above polling:
  2. I've never cared about Wagger and never will but it's clear his big speech about Sonny right after Mulcahey arrived (and the overall push against the character in those months) really pissed the surviving creatives at the show off. Wagger was a useful means to an end for me, nothing more. Now they're all acting like he was Pol Pot with CMT hair. Not looking fwd to Laura's inevitable 180 on Sonny (which Anna has already done, sadly). That and the shift in how they handle Tracy (who PM clearly adored) back to all the 'nice' characters taking cheap shots at her is tiresome. And now of course because the numbers are up again Frank and his team will never leave. Sigh. They only tried her with him because they were fascinated with her (pulling him away from Georgie even that pairing was popular). At one point every dude under 30 on the show was in love with her. I'm not convinced Jane is going anywhere any time soon. Retirement did not seem to agree with her. I think with a good writing team in place SC and Jane together again would be wonderful. But that's not happening and he's never leaving the golden parachute at B&B.
  3. Hell yeah:
  4. He allegedly left her a letter a few days before he died asking to come home (again). He wrote her often, they never got over each other.
  5. Even Trump's own pollster (Fabrizio) has her up in WI: She's also up by 3 there with RFK in the field.
  6. Watkins was classic Frank. So bland. And don't get me started on his 'music career'. Yes, SC will never hop off the B&B money train like so many others in front of or behind the camera (unless they retire or get their own show, like MVJ/PM) but it's a nice thought. Of course it would require him to be used well, vs. what Frank has done with Rena, Eva LaRue, etc. just to say they're on the show. My idea presupposes a different regime lol.
  7. She did very well, I think. Considerably better than that local interview on Philly TV a few days ago, which was a bit too both woolly and rambling yet too fixed around talking points for my liking. Then Eugene Daniels (one of the male interviewers on the NABJ panel and current heads of Politico) went on MSNBC to complain that she stayed on message too much. But I think this panel has overall been received well; Daniels is just so wedded to being part of the gotcha question industry trying to ding her anywhere they can. Those guys (particularly Alex Thompson and Max Tani) are starving for drama with the Dems now that Joe is out of the race. They've tried everything to derail the Harris/Walz train and nothing's worked. Meanwhile:
  8. I've said it before but if I thought SC could be tempted away from B&B job security (he can't) I would go after him in a hot second. Bring Dillon back for Tracy and the family, have him still be in entertainment but becoming a kind of quirky mini-mogul in various fields. I'd write Michael out for a couple years and recast.
  9. Putting aside the pollster's rating, I still think we take GA just like the last two times. Plus, Trump's supposed lead is dropping. To be clear, re: the top poll the Economist/YouGov is a B+ pollster.
  10. It has always been controversial, but I think most fans would call the Gottlieb/Malone (and Horgan) era the last golden age of OLTL, and I agree. Was it perfect? Of course not, and some elements haven't aged well or (in the case of Todd) led to deeper issues down the road. But I think right up to the end of their run there was very good stuff. I've dug back into '95 recently. There's definitely stuff you can cringe at, but much of it also really holds up.
  11. Pretty sure that's Brooke Langton (Samantha Reilly).
  12. Most of the audience does not care about (or remember) Gina or Stone Jr.
  13. I don't give two shíts about Jagger's family.
  14. I think it's highly unlikely Kelly gets a reprieve.
  15. Meanwhile:
  16. Harris doing a panel with the National Association of Black Journalists (last seen hosting Trump): Schumer's strategic IVF vote to pin down the GOP for November:
  17. I do love Jane. Pre-debate numbers in AZ:
  18. Yeah, she's real thrilled about that prospect.
  19. HarrisX is a GOP-leaning poll. From Mark Penn I believe, no less. If this is their numbers...
  20. Monmouth is not quite a head to head poll apparently (they did some sort of weird question re: voting), but still very good stuff. Silver is of course furious about how they asked their questions while throwing all sorts of junk GOP polls into his weird machine. Character:
  21. One people have been waiting for:
