I hope this turns into something. In the part of rural Florida that I live in, we might as well be considered Georgia. Don't get me wrong, I love my home and the south. But the majority of people around here either believe the NRA is a legitimate government agency or (the more educated) know that it's a lobbyist group but still trust them more than the govment. This could backfire on them if they ain't careful.

I saw that online this morning, thought it was satire and had to read the article again. IF it goes anywhere, they're going to have to make changes. Institute it on a voluntary basis, see what the interest/demand is and go from there. And since they are comparing it to Hello Fresh, participants should have a say in what shows up in the box. Seeing how the budget deal just went through, hopefully this "innovative" assistance program will hopefully never see the light of day.

It's rather sad that trump feels a need to tweet about any perceived personal slight, no matter how inconsequential. Frankly, I don't believe that he had any meaningful impact on securing their release - this is just my gut opinion, given his penchant for stretching the truth.

The other day, I about rolled my truck to avoid hitting the most beautiful foe. She was gorgeous. Not to disparage hunters, but I don't see the "sport" in going out into the woods, armed to the T with scopes, guns, decoys, whathaveyou, invading these creatures territory and then taking their life when they wander into your trap. Now if they leveled the playing field and went hand-to-hoof, I might get on board with that.

So it looks like Trump has tweeted about the Franken accusations. LOL The man has no shame or self-control. I'm not excusing or defending AF, but another stark difference is the way in which he has responded to her claims. He released that picture himself, and has come across as honestly regretful and apologetic of what he did. Trump and Moore have attacked their accusers.

President Obama did everything he could to keep gun violence in the news. After every mass shooting, he'd have a press conference and tell it like it was. I loved it. Republicans and the NRA fumed, but at least there was something on the news about the number of mass shootings. There were 477 last year, and 391 so far this year. But we have only heard about the most egregious. Trump won't say [!@#$%^&*] until he's called out on it. They want to downplay the gun violence as much as possible so the NRA keeps sucking them off. It's disgusting.

To address a pointless accusation made by a certain someone, there is no double standard for Dems and Reps. If ANYONE behaves this way, they need to go regardless of sex, race or political affiliation. The only one displaying a double standard right now is a Republican (shocker) - McConnell.
