  1. The London attacks confirm nothing and Trump hasn't done anything to make us safer. Name one piece of legislation or EO that supports your statement. What's keeping us safe now are the policies of the Obama Administration.
  2. She's kick ass
  3. That's true, but I can't pretend to understand how evangelicals reconcile their support of a man that is the antithesis of everything they claim to believe in. The only logical conclusion is that they are all hypocrites.
  4. What.the.fvck.
  5. I watched the first 40 minutes or so. He wasn't at all impressive and given his behavior over the last year and a half, I didn't believe a word of it. That being said, he did make some very lofty statements and some were a lot more inclusive than anything he's ever said. I can understand how one might feel a little more comfortable with him after that speech. Look, for me, I've learned to live by and find immense truth in actions speaking louder than words. For the people on the opposite end of that belief, they will like what he said. That's all I'm saying. In fact, I will be surprised if he doesn't see a bump in his poll numbers in the coming days. He's horrible.
  6. He's claiming it wouldn't be productive because the mean ol liberals would stack the deck against him http://www.wesh.com/article/rubio-says-holding-a-town-hall-wouldnt-be-productive/8984202
  7. I read BBC was blocked as well!
  8. Grrr. And from the article..."reporters "shouldn't be allowed" to use unnamed sources." from Trump @ cpac Just when you think it can't get worse, it somehow does.
  9. momma was born and raised in the south, so on the rare occasion she said that, you KNEW somethin wasn't right lol
  10. Grrrrrrr! As my dearly missed momma would say...well sh!t fire and save the matches! Why do these people keep voting against their own interests?? And in the larger scheme of things, cutting programs for the underprivileged doesn't even make a dent in the deficit compared to, oh I don't know, military, fair tax of the richest Americans. Hell, even regulating marijuana nationwide could provide a windfall.
  11. This.is.incredible.
  12. Captain Marmalade in all his orange glory
  13. They are just as delusional as he is. One of my friends from high school that never met a drug she didn't like is a Trumpster. She owns a small winery in N. Florida, a state controlled by Republicans for over 15 years (or more), in a county that is as red as they come. But it was Obama's fault her business was failing I guess I'm still friends with her out of nostalgia but it's prolly time to end it.
  14. I finally turned it off, but it was so great to see some reporters keep after him. I esp loved the one that called him out on his "largest electoral college win since Reagan"
  15. Had he done this outside of the Y&R hour, I wouldn't have purposely tuned in. The man is sickening. He is still defending Flynn. And saying Obama lost more cabinet noms than he has. Jeez. Yes, all of this.
  16. OK. So, I'm not sure who the reporter was, but he called Trump out on his lie of having the largest electoral college win since Reagan! First, the reporter sited President Obama's electoral win was larger, and Trump shot back "I meant among Republicans", the reporter got him AGAIN that both Bushes had larger margins. I love it. Trump didn't answer his follow up on how can Americans trust what he says when he lies. Trump asked him "did you think it was an impressive win?!?". This is maddening.
  17. Is anyone watching this train wreck of a "press conference"?!? Trump is in the East Room, masturbating about all of his accomplishments. WTF?
  18. Yup. I feel the same.
  19. The last few days have been unbelievable to watch
  20. Wales, you are, and have been, someone whose posts always strike me as overwhelmingly fair and insightful. I do hope that you're right regarding the people that voted against Hillary. Although, I simply can't understand how someone, using the argument "the lesser of two evils", would come to the conclusion that DJT is that person. I can't conceive of it.
  21. Agreed. On the subject to Trump voters. Yes, there are some Dems that crossed party lines, for whatever reason, to vote for this clearly racist misogynist. All because he made a couple of stops along the rust belt, promising the manufacturing and steel jobs will come back?!? It was clear in the eighties when Billy Joel sang about Allentown... The thing is, I work in IT and those jobs have been going offshore for almost 20 years. If the Dems put forth a candidate that said the things Trump did, and wanted me to ignore ALL of that because he/she would bring my programming job back, there is NO WAY IN HELL I would vote for them. I would have been voting for the Republican. So I'm with you. No sympathy for anyone that voted for this abomination.
  22. Well said, JaneA! Ugh. Trump's cabinet is just as divisive as he is. Sickening.
