  1. Thank you. I knew it was before they changed the opening, and after Lisa Peluso left (I believe her last episode was Christmas 1985).
  2. Was that 1985 or 1986? I've seen Louise Shaffer's last airdate as both December 1985 and January 1986.
  3. He was great on TD. When Dr. John Morrison was at his worst, Mr. Horgan always played him with a twinkle in his eye. I also enjoyed his work in episodics like Bewitched and Facts of Life, as well as many commercials. 🙏❤
  4. Seriously. Tomorrow's the deadline. I just don’t want T**** and his ilk to get away unscathed AGAIN. 😡😡😡😡😡
  5. He didn't write both? Wasn't their second wedding the first hour-long episode?
  6. ...and here we go!! https://www.google.com/amp/s/news.yahoo.com/amphtml/report-house-jan-6-select-041614494.html
  7. Eden/Cruz on SB. Yes, their story ate up a lot of screen time, often to the detriment of other characters. But Marcy Walker and A Martinez were such engaging performers who had real chemistry. They elevated mediocre material and made the good material better. It was always a pleasure to watch them on SB.
  8. Yeah, they're still working on it. Still - pass the Pepto Bismol. 🤮
  9. UGGGGGH.
  10. What a cop-out. It's not like they didn't know how to find him.
  11. If Russ had actually married Iris, Rachel would have gone from being his wife to his sister-in-law (through their marriages to Ted and Cindy) to his stepmother-in-law!! The Matthews family would definitely have been tearing their hair out. 😂
  12. It really is. Jonathan Jackson said in at least one interview that Genie took him under her wing from the start, because she knew what being a kid/teen on a soap was like.
  13. True, but I thought it was cool of her in any case. I don't think Noelle Beck has been on a soap since ATWT folded.
  14. That's good to know that Monty never pulled that kind of stunt again. I've always wondered if playing out that rape turned grand romance in a small way affected the drug problems Genie later admitted to having in the early 1980s.
  15. I hear you. Though I think Noelle Beck won the respect of many ATWT fans in the end for offering to step aside.
  16. It said James Gerald in the AW 35th Anniversary coffee table book, not that those books are exempt from errors.
  17. There's actually quite a bit of her final stint up on YouTube. The Crystal Palace was phased out sometime in 1982, not long after Ilene returned.
  18. I like all those ideas, and I'm sure the cast would have loved to play out any of those scenarios. Too bad Chris Goutman just gave up.
  19. Do you personally feel it was cheapened without Martha Byrne?
  20. That's pretty cool. Thanks for sharing the link.
  21. Doug Marland explicitly said that he wanted Laura with Scotty. Gloria Monty wanted her with Luke. He left, and then Pat Falken Smith wrote everything from the rape to the summer on the run.
  22. Even AW's finale, uneven as it was (the gorilla!), wasn't altogether sad. A series finale shouldn't have to be sad. Yes, it's sad because it's the finale, but the content shouldn't be sad.
  23. So few episodes from 1982 are on YouTube, and usually are not great quality. It's too bad, because I'd love to see more of IK's second RH stint.
