  1. I agree with all that, plus Mona's sadness at Steve and his family's impending move out of her house and into his own. Mona loves her kids and grandkids more than anything, and dreads the loneliness she will feel at living by herself in her mansion. Of course, the hints are that she won't be alone for long once Jason and Nola wed - but Meg Mundy did a great job conveying sadness at a situation that viewers can relate to.
  2. Yes, you're right. Thanks.
  3. I know that Spelling was billed as EP, but who did the actual showrunning on SUN?
  4. ...and began her career on a crime soap opera. She forgot that Henry Slesar isn't writing all this.
  5. I don't know exactly when Lauren left TD, but she first began airing in July 1975, so I would assume summer of 1978 if she signed a standard three-year contract. I don't know when Carla Dragoni began/stopped airing, but I do believe that she was indeed dropped due to Kathy Glass (a much bigger name) becoming available. I don't know what the gap was between her last airdate on OLTL and first on TD.
  6. Ouch. No one could be as bad as Kim Greylek. Awful, awful character.
  7. No, Chuck Weiss was producer at the time. He left the show in 1979, and I think Doris Quinlan was the next producer. I read in an old interview that Kathy chose TD because it was a half hour show as opposed to OLTL at an hour. She and her husband had just adopted a baby and the format of TD gave Kathy more time to spend with her daughter.
  8. I'm wondering how close she is to a complete breakdown. Between now and her sentencing, I wouldn't be surprised at all if she checks into a psychiatric facility...maybe partly to try to avoid actually going to jail.
  9. Talk about delusion: https://people.com/crime/lori-loughlin-thinks-any-mom-would-have-done-it-says-source/amp/
  10. Actually, I can imagine her getting some "street cred" once she gets out of the joint like Martha Stewart did. She and Felicity will probably go to Camp Cupcake or another one of those cushier, minimum security prisons.
  11. Erika Slezak will be on 20/20 Friday, 4/12: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.oregonlive.com/entertainment/2019/04/2020-revisits-the-tragic-case-of-portland-raised-actress-rebecca-schaeffer.html%3foutputType=amp
  12. Well, with plea bargains and such, I highly doubt she will be sent to prison for 40 years. Who else thinks that the Huffman/Macy marriage will not survive this scandal? https://people.com/crime/why-william-h-macy-wasnt-charged-in-college-cheating-scandal/
  13. That's so true. Turkey baster aside, SUN didn't have the disgusting storylines that Passions had. Of course, it was only on three years to Passions' nine...
  14. Oh...Sophia married Count Armonti after she left Santa Barbara. She wound up being rescued in Europe and married him. Of course, it wasn't legal since she and CC were technically still married...
  15. I had assumed that Kelly was supposed to be in her 20s at the outset of the show. Joe's mother Marisa worked at Lyman Prep (in the cafeteria, I believe), so he got to go to the prestigious private school either tuition-free or at a highly reduced tuition. All the Capwell kids attended the school, of course (and Joe's younger sister Jade would later attend and be a classmate to Ted and Laken). So, I assume they would have become engaged after finishing school at 18. As for the timelines of the other stories...I get a headache trying to figure out the timing. Sorry!
  16. I believe Eden was originally supposed to be younger than Kelly. When it was obvious that there was no way Marcy Walker could be perceived as being younger than Robin Wright (MW was nearly 23 to RW's 18 at the time), the sisters' birth order was switched. Ironically, Todd McKee played Ted (the youngest) - but he is a couple of years older than Robin Wright in real life. That's a soap opera for you!!
  17. I still remember the show playing in the waiting room when I went in for a minor surgical procedure in early 1999. Antonio and Gabi were on. Don't ask me why I remember that.
  18. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
  19. I sure didn't see that coming! Sharon was completely overcome with emotion as well. Maybe Carnie Wilson will finally get the regular co-host gig when Sara leaves at the end of the season.
  20. It looks like Kathy Glass started in December 1978.
  21. Many of us have tried to make sense of the Capwell timeline, and can't. It doesn't make sense. If you try to make sense of it for too long, your head will explode.
  22. That's a nice picture. Yes, there is totally a resemblance between her and Lynn.
