  1. Yes. I was at a fan event about 5 years ago and someone asked about this. Some of the actors, like Josh Morrow, were surprised it is not already fully available on streaming (sigh...). Christian Le Blanc told us that Sony was digitizing the archives (but not with any particular plan to release) and he thought it was done or almost done, so they should exist all in pristine condition.
  2. Simone. I think Vanessa mainly spent her time trying to stir up Simone against Lorie, but Simone was French and sophisticated and played it like she was cool with Lorie and Lance being friends.
  3. Offscreen a la Josh Griffith, if I understand correctly.
  4. Also, in 1986, Leo the bartender gives Jack a gun (which he disposes after Jill is shot) and Jack is not familiar with how to use a gun at all. It's not plausible that he served in the army.
  5. I'd love to see Esther's origin story! She'd be a teen in the 60s. What were her hopes and dreams?
  6. I love this! We could also follow along with Regina and Bruce Henderson in Chicago, and perhaps young Nikki and Paul could join Jill in the tween set by 1970?
  7. Is this the Homepage you mean? https://web.archive.org/web/20221130103754/http://edgehomepage.com/transcripts.html Thanks for your amazing work!
  8. It's 10/27/95. It is there, but only in German, unfortunately.
  9. One of those is not like the others. 😂
  10. You've answered your own question sadly. They don't.
  11. With the budget crisis they have I can't believe they pay someone to make a custom title every day. They are at the point where the few extras never talk or are kept under 5 lines to save a buck, so why waste money on that? I would love to know the breakdown of this show's admin costs vs what actually is spent on production. I bet the ratio is much worse than B&B and GH even if their revenue is greater.
  12. Replying to myself I found a blog with the answer. This apparently was true! https://glmanny.wordpress.com/2020/06/22/stolen-lockets-and-broken-hearts-by-traci-abbott/ More info on other fictional Y&R books: https://glmanny.wordpress.com/books-about-guiding-light/fake-books-on-the-young-and-the-restless/
  13. On today's show Martin told Traci he downloaded her book "Echoes of the Past" and Traci said it was a very personal story about her and Ashley. Is that made up or was it ever discussed back in 1988-1989 when she worked with Tim on the book?
  14. I wonder how they square that with how terrible their two current soaps look. I'm not even talking about the (lack of) stories, just the overall cringe factor when you turn them on. It would be hard for TG to have that blandness as a lead in and/or would be a disappointment for fans of the rest of CBS soaps if TG has a slicker look (which I expect at least at the beginning).
  15. That's funny cause the thought never even crossed my mind that that Y&R would show any inkling of the tour, so of course it is happening on B&B.
  16. Hm, that might be a new clip! At first I thought it was from the 6/27/84 classic episode (Beth Maitland's Emmy reel) because that one does start off with Danny and Cricket at Gina's, but I don't recognize this scene in there. There is a clip of them meeting at Jabot on 6/25/84 from another one of the clipfests, so this one is probably from them arriving at Gina's on 6/25 or 6/26!
  17. This is really funny 🤣 I auditioned for Nick when I was 19, got started at 20, so I still lived at home, and I didn’t really know how it worked. My mom made me a lunch and I went off to work and prepared for what I thought was a 16-hour workday. And I just happened to be first up that day with Heather Tom and had four scenes with her. That was when we started at 7:30 a.m. Well, we were done at 8:15. I was like, “Well, what do I do now?” They’re like, “Dude, you go home.” So, I got in my little black Nissan pickup and drove home. I lived maybe 45 minutes from the studio, and I walked in the house at, like, 9 a.m. and my mom’s like, “What happened? Did you get fired?” And I’m like, “No, I’m done for the day. I had four scenes and the girl’s great. She’s, like, the best actress I’ve ever seen in my life.” It’s rarely like that, but I will never forget my mom thinking that I was going to get fired day one.
  18. The Y&R/GL vault has been full for some time. Someone with admin access needs to delete duplicate files. The B&B vault still gets uploads regularly.
  19. What genuine thrill from Kirsten and Bradford in that scene. So nice to see.
  20. I did miss that, but the parts I caught were fun! Subtitles might help? I'm going to DM you.
  21. That was cute! They really put them through their paces, haha.
  22. Would be funny if Patrick wasn't fired after all, but accepted a role on TG. I'm not sure how a head writer's contact works though. I had assumed it was like an actor's contract where the show can let them go in a 13 week cycle but the actor doesn't have an out.
  23. I truly wonder if we're supposed to see this subtext, or if we're meant to believe what the characters are saying is true. How can Steffy walk into an office where a man and a woman are simply talking, and shout "Get away from my husband!!!" when she, in fact, is the one who slept with that other woman's husband, when she is the one who cheated on Finn, and he never cheated on her. Does Bradley Bell want us to agree with Steffy?! If Steffy were a man her behavior would be considered abusive, the same way Ridge and Liam are.
