  1. I just watched the intro of today's show with the CGI fire. At this point it's like shame on me for even watching this dreck. This is sad. Even sadder is that I'm almost impressed they did this instead of just saying it happened offscreen. I swear they should just transition to radio at this point.
  2. Check this amazing resource from @Troppo https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1d4EqpAHjpeAczF8vhUrvyxUoklfczoo_kwRmeIZQ40A/edit
  3. It's wild that last time a soap was launched there was no social media or YouTube. I'm not sure there was Wikipedia and IMDB.
  4. Thanks @Toups Here I was thinking "in development" meant a Bible was written. But MVJ only just announced her departure from B&B, so she clearly hasn't been at the point Reilly mentions where he goes on salary. It sounds like he wrote the Bible and outlines as independent contractor... but MVJ's B&B contract may preclude her working on projects like a competing soap? So they may be only starting to write the Bible just now, but there must have been some kind of pitch, if not a full Bible?
  5. See, and someone like me who just saves everything to watch someday later on would not have even noticed that... ugh. I remember when some of their uploads had blank spaces too...
  6. I don't want to get this thread too off topic, but, yeah. I thought that the incredibly apparent DGAF budget at Y&R in particular was a sign of not wanting to invest in soaps because they see no potential for the audience to grow and just want to hold on to the share they have without losing too much audience. Now CBS has a new soap in development, so they do believe an audience can be grown. And this show will have to put some money into sets and production. It's typical for newer soaps to do some location filming and do some visually interesting things to set the tone, so, I don't know, it will be weird to have a splashy new show airing after Y&R which consists of characters walking back and forth between two sets drinking from empty cups and B&B with its 35 year old sets... because I think and hope that the new show is going to have energy. It's all very speculative, of course.
  7. I wonder how long you've been sitting on this... 👍 May I humbly suggest pinning this to the top since it's so active?
  8. Imagine if Victoria Rowell is involved in this... ok, I'm really getting my hopes up now...
  9. And in consultation with freakin' P&G! I had to reread the article several times to understand it said what I thought it said!
  10. @Bedazzled308 The spoiler section is here: https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/forum/12-discuss-previews-and-spoilers/ The monthly discussion thread is for discussing the show as it airs. Please don't post spoilers in this thread.
  11. This is why it's hilarious when Danny says he needs to be around Phyllis to "co-parent" their adult son (Michael Graziadei is 44 years old). He had no problem raising Daniel faaaar away from Phyllis during his formative years, and rightfully so.
  12. I'm impressed with your knowledge and skills! Seriously?! I can only laugh at the incompetence.
  13. If you decide to go with the shorter ones, I hope you maintain a copy of the ones from the CBS site as a separate document... that must been loads on work to compile!
  14. @Troppo that is amazing! You've even got a breakdown of the writers!
  15. These lists are great! Has anyone made a list that also details the quality? I used to be able to keep track in my head but not anymore. There was a spreadsheet called "BB by year" in the vault but it's not really updated. Like for Season 1, it would be like Episodes 1-50 Video: Excellent Language: English Subtitles: No 51-250 Video: Excellent Language: Dual English/German Subtitles: No That way we kind of hone in and which ones need to be upgraded later? Ideally, we someday have a full set of HD English videos without subtitles!
  16. I was totally down on her and made fun of her casting, but she's doing a great job. I'm even appreciating Amelia in this story!
  17. Lol. The baby being cut out of the mother's womb is a storyline from Private Practice, and I also 100% misremembered Nina doing that to Ava. https://greysanatomy.fandom.com/wiki/Yours,_Mine_%26_Ours
  18. There was an interview with Colleen Zenk where she said it's her own wig. LOL!
  19. I've had to private this, but making it unlisted again. Such a brilliant scene.
  20. I had been wondering if you saw the preemption information posted by @JAS0N47 in the Ratings threads for the 70s, 80s, and 90s. It's a treasure trove and you'll be able to confirm most airdates.
  21. Thanks @YRfan23 it's especially nice seeing rare interviews with John Castellanos and Greg York, in addition to the lovely Brenda Epperson.
