  1. Honestly, Alexis is lucky to have lasted this long on the show and that Guza never bothered to kill her off, lol
  2. Intelligent, witty dialogue has no place on a Frank Valentini produced show!
  3. I’m sorry but Grahn and Davies just don’t have the same chemistry in these roles (nor did they the first time they worked together on GH). Mason and Julia were just a very specific period in time on a very specific soap.
  4. Is was a relatively short time in retrospect, but damn it if the Laibson/McTavish era didn’t feel like one lonnnng torturous period, lol.
  5. And oddly, Den’s final death is probably the best umbrella story EE has ever done, especially looking back at their lame attempts since. This Kat/Zoe thread leading to Zoe’s exit was also the last time EE genuinely believed in long-term story, as it was also the culmination of that 5 year arc as well.
  6. It’s really sad, RIP to him and condolences to his family. Big city violence and crime is out of control in this country unfortunately. I had no time for Brando (or anyone tied to Sasha), but I always thought Wactor was very likeable and did his best in the role.
  7. Yeah, I am not feeling Lane Davies in this role…
  8. The styling and dressing for Molly is particularly awful today.
  9. Queen Jane Elliot coming in to slay today with the opening tag alone.
  10. They’ve really failed at Trina as a character in this post-Spencer period. Unfortunately, I wish I could say I expect that to change, but I can’t.
  11. And I’d stop centering that age group around Joss. Bring back a recast Emma to help shift the focus away.
  12. I think Ross and Blake’s first wedding was when Mulcahey was HW (or was on the HW-ing team) as well.
  13. I’d just have Violet stop appearing and then pretend like she was never a thing.
  14. I don’t understand the game plan for Ava, still feels like they’re setting up her death/exit with Alexis now being the latest person she’s screwed over.
  15. I hate that anytime Liz gets any airtime it’s in support of f.ucking Finn. Who’s the GH vet that people actually care about here? Tracy needs to order an immediate makeover of the Q mansion. That ugly wallpaper that either Olivia or Monica approved is an eyesore and needs to go immediately.
  16. Easily recastable role, but I think and agree with them that Jackie’s not really worth the effort. I’d rid this show of every last Chase if I was ever in charge. Like most of the “illness of the year” stories GH has done over the past decade - who cares? Gregory’s relationships on the show weren’t that strong and were limited to a few people. A waste of a talented actor in a very poorly devised and unnecessary role. Though, he did bring more airtime for Tracy in recent months, so there’s that. I really need an actual story for her though - Jane is up to the task and wants to work, get it the hell together! It would probably be the only thing left to interest me on this show at this point.
  17. I still wonder what Beau did that was so unforgivable that led to his firing. Some have claimed he violated a morality clause by having an OnlyFans at one point, while others have claimed he created a hostile work environment. Though he’s back on social media, he’s never commented. Marvel films tend to go through a number of rewrites or screenwriters for that matter. I think the important thing is they’re starting to develop the X-Men IP again now that they have full access to it. We can only hope they learned the right lessons from X-Men ‘97.
  18. I figured I’d start a thread about this given the recent discussions here on X-Men ‘97. Per Deadline, Michael Lesslie, who recently wrote the screenplay for Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes has been selected and is in negotiations to write the screenplay. No director or casting attached yet, but development could still take some time. ‘X-Men’ Movie At Marvel Studios Gains Momentum As Michael Lesslie Comes On As Screenwriter @NothinButAttitude @Vee @Taoboi
  19. Honestly, this is where you need an EP who can produce material with passion and intrigue to make this stilted material fly or halfway passable. But this is a FV production for you.
  20. Well, all I can say it didn’t come off that way to me and I am entitled to voice that. It felt like a passive aggressive attack on multiple people who are having a discussion on this chain. That is my experience and it’s no less valid than your’s or anyone else’s.
