Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
SLC Oh, lord. LOL!!! That episode. I've said it all over the place. When they started the episode showing Mary set up her dinner, I knew it was going to be something special cuz...MARY. And when they started to show the party, and I realized that it was ONLY fifteen minutes into the episode...we were going to be in for some mess. But THAT...? Daaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyummmmmmmm!!! Like @Cheap21...the dinner party from hell for SLC indeed. So much went down. Heather vs Bob. Angie K vs FriendofHeather. FriendofHeather coming for everyone...and everyone coming for her!!! Bob gathering Lisa. Angie K vs Meredith. Meredith vs Mary. So much with down at the dinner that Production (allegedly) edited out the Mary vs Lisa fight that would have taken us through this second half of the season. In fact...Mary kicked Lisa out, too. I guess we will know for sure how much of that is true next week if we start up at the dinner party. Outside of the main event...I felt this was still a great episode. Angie K's scene with her father brought so much focus to who she is. And it makes sense now why she is the way she is with her daughter AND how she was irked by what Lisa said. We got a little more about Bob and her hubby's relationship. We got Lisa continuing to NOT be a good friend, spilling all to Heather. And we got Heather being all bravado and catty...only to be gagged by Bob. Nice try, 'Good Time Girl.' But that event...WOOOOOOOOOOOOW. LISA. First of all, they have had hidden speakeasys on this show since Season 1 when Whitney did a cool one. Second of all, she sure did run to Heather reeeeal quick to tattle on Bob. Yeah, she ain't her friend. And I cannot believe she would give up her long friendship for....Heather. Even the moments where she tried to pipe up for Bob with Heather at the dinner came across very performative. Just throw her away. I just know that Bob is going to roast her at some point. And it will be all her fault. HEATHER. BITCH. The bloom has completely come off the rose, hasn't it? I mean seriously...is Production just finally getting their lick back for all of Heather's lies on them? Because she has not been shown in a good light at all this year. And here she was spitting at Lisa how she was going to show Bob who was in charge. And then she came into Mary's dinner party all ready to be catty and start mess. A wordsmith she ain't. When Bob said 'cuz it's my GD credit card...' She was gagged. And no matter how much she tried to deflect, Bob met her everywhere she turned with no choice but to backpedal and apologize to Bob. As Nene Leakes would say...you're weak, hunni. Oh...and poor. WHITNEY. Okay, I'll use her name this time. lol. She was a trip from start to finish for me. And I have to give credit where it's due she had me rolling. I saw her give Angie K that alley oops she needed to check FriendofHeather...and the tea of 3 men...LORRRRDDD!!! lol. And then her with the wig in her Confessional picking on Meredith, I fell out. And then her and Meredith getting physical over Meredith's phone. Is it Season 5 of POTOMAC again? Whit put in the work. ANGIE K. I have always liked Angie K. My only issue has been it has always been one step forward, two steps back. For every moment, she has a good moment, she then fell back in line. And she is one of the few in the cast now that has always activated Meredith (who is the BEST Meredith). But her talk with her father was such an authentic moment and really explained EVERYTHING about her. Her relationship with her mother explains why she has been such a pick me, her own relationship with her daughter, and why it hurt her to the core when Lisa made that comment about her daughter. Very well done, Angie K. But her moments at the dinner party were good. Her vs FriendofHeather was great. And of course, there she goes again backsliding with Meredith. She was giving fierce with that. BOB. And Bob gave the other favorite authentic moment. I guess her hubby had no idea what show she was going to be filmed for. And he doesn't seem to like it. Or he cares about how the whole world would see them...a real thought to have when you have a business, and you are on reality tv. So I liked that. And 'Cuz it was my GD credit card' was THE moment. Freshman year like Monica and giving moments. I don't know why Heather thought she could even take her when Heather is not at all a wordsmith. She checked Heather oh so good. In fact, she was literally exposing Heather at the dinner party for how she moves. I am just sad that (outside of Mary who don't care and Whitney with the nod), no one noticed because Heather did the backpedal reeeeal quick. And at the same time, you could see her observing Lisa to see if she would help her like a real friend. And it's clear she still don't like FriendofHeather. She has so many ways to go. MEREDITH. Smh. Well, Meredith has always been at her best when she's on the defensive. Unfortunately, it was all wrong here. First with her and Angie K...all Meredith had to do was not take it to Hades and let Angie K run out of air. Not helped by her showing her slip in the first place where everyone called her out on it. Meredith DOES like to say out-of-pocket things and then threaten someone when they call her out of it aka when Meredith is on the OFFENSIVE. She should have disengaged. And secondly with Mary. I've been wanting to see why they fell out and it's sad that they fall out because Meredith was so busy arguing with Angie K that she missed what Mary said. Specifically the 'if you are going to argue, then...' part of 'get out of my house.' Worse...she wouldn't allow Mary to explain. So Team Mary. MARY. Production should always do a Mary event. They are always crazy. Cuz...smh. And...NOT FRIENDOFHEATHER'S MAN DMING MARY!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF...!!! lol. I fell out. And Mary looked so great. And I loved her shade at people who could not dress to theme. And for all the shadiness, she does real things like inviting FriendofHeather and talking to her on AND off screen while the other ladies did not talk to her at all. Even her good friend Heather. *side-eye* One can call Mary many things, but she will always keep it real. It was why I was sad to see the fallout between her and Meredith which appear to continue next week since a clip has been released and both are currently not talking in real time. And did I mention FriendofHeather coming for the cast only for the cast to wind up coming for her? Great episode.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It really did. I remember them dropping the trailer. And outside of an ad here and there, it's been unusually crickets. Goodness knows S7 Dorit appears to be getting traction and I do like the clips I've seen so far (Kyle trying to spin the narrative and Dorit not having it, Dorit/Boz, the conclusion to end of episode fight already released). Add on the opinions here that I trust and I might just break down and watch. I agree. I miss the days of the Housewives blogs.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
SLC All I have to say for now is that when you are getting to the group event 15 minutes in...with 45 minutes to go...you are about to get some mess!!! WoooooooooWWWWWWWW!! Too many moments for me to pick from. Little Girl with the alley oops. FriendofHeather coming for the cast...only to be packed up RHOA S6 a la Natalie at the winery style. 'Cuz it's my GD credit card.' 'This is Aubery Hepburn, Not the Flintstones.' I agree @Cheap21! That was their Dinner Party from Hell. Mary must do one every year now.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Honestly...given what I'm used to from BH promoting...it was light this year if not out and out bare. If I know about it at all, it's because the fanbase is definitely there. I mean...they even have the AFTERSHOWS already up and running. Isn't that a midseason thing for the HW shows? I do know compared to last season, they did lose a third. Last season's premiere did 1M. So it slid, but not by very much.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
That's what I was saying earlier. But thankfully, Bravo has the SOUTHERN CHARM franchise and BELOW DECK franchise to hold some people over. And new shows. And I see they are bringing in other shows like QUEEN'S COURT and tonight it was EAT SLAY LOVE (hey, Eva the Diva!). Meanwhile since I don't watch most of that...I can continue my catch-up of OC. lol.

11-19 Oh my God. That... I'm not going to lie. It got me in my feels. And to see so much of the town at her funeral...I was surprised. There would be moments that I pick someone new out from the crowd. And I would be like oh. That was a well-done funeral. The finality of it all. From the monologues to the flashbacks...btw YAAAAYYY flashbacks...just to the general feel throughout the episode. I admit I was surprised to see the Slap Heard Around the Word, but yet that did summarize Carly and Sam's relationship. Highlights for me speech wise was Spin's, Liz's (I had to rewind it was so good, tears be damned), Dante's, Rocco's, and of course Alexis's. They were all good, but these really resonated with me. Spin's flashback...and look at him and Maxie now. Liz's...because as much as I loved Liz and Sam as rivals...their friendship really did grow organically...moreso than Carly's. Mad respect for that. Dante's because DZ who sells the sadness and summarized his and Sam's relationship so beautifully and his parting words...DZ sold the love. Rocco's...FC sold it. Alexis's...I felt all of that from the start of it, to Sam as an anchor, to Sam being an adrenaline junkie cuz soooo true and giggled, and to the end of it. NLG gave yet another masterclass. I was glad that Jason got a moment. And I felt Danny did okay as well. Though I might take back what I said about the actor playing Danny. Is he green...yes? But I really think the smile issue is a face structure issue, and that can't be helped. I think he will grow out of it. If I was annoyed at anything, it was I could get a better tell on it if the camera had not cut right when he emoted enough to release this perfect sad sigh as Danny got choked up and looked upward. I have mixed feelings about the Lucas/Ava scenes. Not because it did not have substance to it. It was nice to see that, and it was a mostly nice counterbalance to the funeral. It just felt too like 'let's get a ATWT actors together' for me. I guess it's because when I think about when Lucas was part of the canvas, I felt he had more scenes with Julian than Ava so I don't feel it yet. That montage of Sam...the finality of it all. It was also well done, and I liked it went all the way to her beginnings to even getting a KV Molly scene in there. And long last...LULU!!!

And I've been heavily unspoiled so you know I'm living for that picture. I feel Angie has had a great season. Messy for sure, but she has been on the nail with a lot of her observations. I just wish she would say more of it outside of her confessionals. She has not been wrong. Or she gets easily distracted in scene. She really should just be herself.

11-18 Oooo I know Drew did not lie to Nina's face. Smh. So we are really and truly going to paint Drew all the way black hat now, huh? I guess it shows how much the two of them have fallen off that he would even do so. Still...nice to see Nina I guess. I thought it was a good episode. Definitely a Monday episode as the New/Old Writers were setting up for the week. There was so much good going on. We know that I have enjoyed the slow development of the rift between Molly and TJ. Given him forgetting her birthday and so did Alexis, I wonder if the birthday thing will grow into something bigger? I also love Molly/Ric scenes so I really loved all of that. And Ric vs Alexis...OH, YES. His timing sucked, but that is Ric for you. lol. Awww at the Rocco/Danny scene. I thought the Danny actor did okay, but yes, there were times he did look like he might bust into laughter at any moment. Except for the last scene where Danny goes off on Lucas. He did good. He just needs to focus that. Meanwhile, I felt the actor playing Rocco definitely had more presence than him. If anything, I felt it has really grown from each time he had appeared on screen. So his acting ability IS growing. But it definitely does feel like with this and the Drew/Nina scenes that they are building up a new drama involving the kids, Drew, and Jason. That I like. Oh, look Lucky is mixing in with Brennan. Another reason to keep Brennan around. Not to mention Lucky. There was not anything Alexis did not do that was not true to life for me. Even the deflection onto Ric. And darn if NLG does not stay resonating. And it does seem like the writers have the focus of this week back on Sam's death, and it clearly was the case here. The build-up this episode was very well-done. No quick cuts to be hip, but everything building across scenes. I will always be here for giving Dante a hug. DZ stay selling it. Hehe at Maxie. But she ain't wrong about the leather. I like seeing so much Trina. But I'm not sold on Kai yet. Too forced. But at least Kai is trying. Don't you dare jinx Ric like that!!!lol. I honestly hope they let Drew ride this out. I enjoyed Ava's return to being a femme fatale during PM's run so if they are going to lean into this with Drew, I'm here for it. Since the Nina/Drew/Willow triangle is not going where it SHOULD have gone, it appears to be the only organic way to go with Drew. At least, it built off of what's been seen on screen I guess. Hmmm...the funny thing about that with Jason...is that out of the three...he is slowly becoming the only one with interesting possibilities for story right now. Hehe. Good to see you came around.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
NY I guess it said something that I got up this morning and watched. I had no desire to watch it last night. I didn't even want to. Last week's episode still burned in me. I did want to see how this would be resolved. And...the jury is still out. Because if I watched that correctly, it would seem Erin and Rebecca did this prank (and it WAS a prank) to show that Rebecca was not boring and to see who could be trusted. Where they lost me was that they (correctly) exposed Brynn as problematic...only to find out that Brynn WAS IN ON IT, TOO and that ERIN was the one to tell her. So not only does Brynn have one up on Erin, but now any goodwill Erin has gotten with me so far this season has me side-eying her. I thought the episode was okay. And the reveal of Brynn telling Ubah, Sai, and Jenna about Erin letting her know was an ACTUAL cliffhanger. The Erin of last season could not do confrontations. Is that the case for this season? And in the coming weeks, it does appear that the fire in Rebecca will be growing. And given that Brynn (in on the prank or not) really does not see it for Rebecca, could a new rivalry be growing? Not to mention there is still Ubah vs Brynn to come...which was absent this episode and they were completely getting along. However...I am still side-eying. JENNA. Could the rose-colored glasses be finally coming off of her about Brynn? She definitely did not like the prank. She didn't like Brynn's part in it. And that's before she found out that Brynn was in on the prank. I guess we will see. JESSEL. Yeah, I found Pavit having food at their therapy session very disrespectful. And I don't know if he was doing it for show, or if he is really being passive-aggressive about it, but I did not like it. Therapy is to be taken seriously. His lack of seriousness is telling. Meanwhile, I always live for scenes with Jessel and her mother so it was nice to have another...especially since she told her mother about the rumor, but did not tell her about the prank. Get that follow-up scene, girl! lol. RAQUEL. So she knew about the prank, too? Le sigh. Her scene with Mel in the sex shop was cute (love the collar, Mel!). And her with Brynn, Ubah, and Sai at the sex museum was good. Someone needed to put the pieces together, and Raquel put in the work for us the audience. SAI. Very little of her. But I liked that she, Raquel, and Jenna found the prank distasteful. And I am living for how much her and Ubah have bonded over the season. UBAH. Was just giving looks and humor for me this week. Though it was interesting Brynn let her in on the prank when they were at that game. And it's just odd seeing the two of them get along knowing what's coming. BRYNN. Well, the good was that I loved seeing Gideon even if I felt disconnected from the scene. So did he this time. Interesting. Cuz why are they not together again? He seem to be the only guy willing to put up with her shenanigans. I liked that she was exposed for running her mouth. But again...what was the point if she already knew it was a prank in the first place? And say what I do about Brynn, she does admit that she runs her mouth. ERIN. Bad form. All her prank really did was expose that she was a liar. Worse...a wannabe sniper from the side. Then again, this was Erin's m.o. her first season. She would stir the pot and try to hide her hand. And that bit her on the butt because the other ladies did compare notes. All I can do is shrug. Highly disappointed in her, and I didn't realize I liked her so much to be so disappointed. Again...okay episode. Yeah...and now here comes SOUTHERN CHARM and SOUTHERN HOPSITALITY which I guess is the other winter shows now. Just le sigh. I'm shocked at how their hopes for BELOW DECK as the next big franchise has completely lessened. All they have are the HOUSEWIVES now. lol. What? Say it ain't so! re: SLC It has been interesting good and we haven't even got to the Monica subplot yet. I guess I shouldn't be worry about content for me. I still have a whole season of OC to watch here. lol. Still sad about DUBAI. Tell us how you really feel.

Y&R: November 2024 Discussion Board
11-18 Oh, dear. I was worried about how this week would look given it was coming off of a major event, returning cast members, and turns in the stories. On the good side, I continue to love that I was right about the Diane setup. And I thought the scenes were good between Jack, Diane, and Kyle. I actually feel a bit sorry for him. Well more than Billy. But Jack and Diane weren't wrong. I think the only false note for me was that Diane did not wait to sign the papers with Victor. And then tell Kyle. Solid proof. But I am sure this Jack vs Victor fight is far from other. I'm happy Sharon confessed to Nick. And that slowly, but surely everyone is finding out. And then the coda scene with Chance (with that WTF look) was very good. But I guess I feel some of the stakes in this story have now left that it is more than likely Ian/Jordan behind it all. Heck...with Ian in the mix, is it possible Heather is alive? I await the explanation. Good set as usual, but it does feel like we lost the high.

We don't and I would be livid if they go there. But that does seem where it is heading...and murder mystery has most definitely entered the chat among this board. 😜 Though I admit if they go there without dealing with Wagger's murder...yeeeeah that could be much. lol. While true, I lean toward a murder mystery simply due that even with a Q resurgence, Frank might actually be looking to drop another high money person to bring in a dozen characters no one cares about. Or Valentin back. lol. And we aren't allowed to have good things or villainous people that make it work (which CM has and MW was) for tooo long. Don't we always?

I said that when this all started. Because SC and MG were giving off this vibe when they would sit together and talk about Cassie. And I couldn't figure out if they were setting up for them to do just that or if Sharon was going to try to kill Daniel.

Better late than never. Yes, I love you, but I am going to have to disagree. The writing is doing JJ no favors. The best thing about Lucky is that JJ is back and he's been on point with the acting. But the writing is making me glare at him something fierce now which was not what I was like when he first started airing. I feel they could come up with an organic reason to keep Lucky there that does not scream rinse, wash, repeat. Moreso because the clear reason is right there in front of all of us: HIS KID. Something to build plot off of. Which, regardless of block filming, can be done.
