Agreed on making up our own backstories. That one works for me with Andy/Jackie. I can totally see that. It could really also run deeper with Jackie's own problems with Bev and not wanting Bev around (though still obviously loving her). I'd really love the Andy/Jackie thing addressed. They can keep Jerry on the fishing boat for eternity. I'd rather forget he existed than Andy. LOL. Crystal's still working, she works at a casino. She'll be retiring in one of the episodes coming up and Darlene and Becky will compete for the job (and having seen Darlene in the same outfit as Crystal, I guess we know who gets the job). Crystal was a bit out there but she always seemed capable of taking care of herself financially.

Father Dowling Mysteries is this weekend's binge on Decades, if anyone is a fan. Barnaby Jones was last weekend, I believe. I like Decades. He's got some new show coming. I forgot the name already. Probably another one and done lol.

Agreed on Andrea. I know they were pressed for time but I'd have liked a little more. Being a neighbor would be better. The David/Darlene thing was weird in a way. Roseanne has ALWAYS pushed them together no matter what. It's a little interesting to me she'd now realize maybe they aren't best for each other. I liked it. But Roseanne was always so gungho David/Darlene, no matter what she had to do. I know they have Becky's drinking a lot as a joke right now but I do hope it leads somewhere. I LOL'd at the name Blue so I thought they'd drag it out a bit more. I guess they could still introduce the character and say they got back together. The whole thing was a little weird. He was with Blue but going to reunite with Darlene. LOL, ok.

I don't think Darlene and David need or even should be together. David can be on the show without them together but we know inevitably it will end up there ... lol Maybe Andrea [Sarah Chalke] returns, leaves her husband and hooks up with David. LOL. Sarah's Becky and David definitely had a little chemistry. I wasn't home Tuesday night so I haven't watched this week's episode yet. I know! lol.

I know. It's airing everywhere it seems. Sundance airs it. TV Land airs it. METV airs it, all in blocks. I'm probably forgetting a channel or two. WGN maybe? Does it REALLY do THAT well? I mean, damn. lol Agreed on FRIENDS.

I feel the same way as you both. It was a MASSIVE mistake. Just like when Phelps killed off Maureen on GL. It really pissed me off and still does. A lot of things the show has done over the years pisses me off. They have little regard for their vets, still, and it's a real shame. So many are active and vital! DON'T KILL THEM OFF! lol Ron really pissed me off bringing back Duke and AJ only to kill them again. Why am I stuck watching Julian and Franco get redeemed over and over again in an effort to make them work? I'd much rather be watching Duke Lavery play daddy to Griffin and AJ in a relationship with Liz. Instead we get Julian and Franco propped ad nauseum. And Nina running her mouth yet ultimately adding nothing to the show. Sigh. SIGH.

Oh, I do too. lol MASH, Andy, the westerns ... they're good but personally were never that appealing to me. Andy more so than the westerns and MASH. MASH is rerun SO much ....

Westerns must do well I guess. I mean, for example, TV Land's run Bonanza and Gunsmoke for decades at this point. And Andy Griffith. And MASH. Somehow they always seem to get great slots and do well anytime, anywhere.

Eh. Nice to see Charlie's Angels though. Been a while since I've watched so I'll try to catch it. I see Mama's Family is back on weekdays and Me-TV has also added The Jeffersons. Me-TV needs to give Touched by an Angel to LightTV. Better for Odd Couple on Sunday I guess. And I think they're bringing back Gilligan, right? But still, kind of the same old same old.

LOL. Roseanne as an UBER driver just has so much damn potential. I also love how either this week or the previous episode Bev got a dig in about Jackie's life coach career. LMAO. I really enjoyed the episode. Just felt old school to me with most of the cast being used here and there. It was good. The Bev/Jackie stuff was definitely sad when you put it into context/perspective. I like how Estelle isn't playing Bev totally batty, her delivery is a bit better than she was giving us in the last few seasons of Roseanne where Bev and Jackie became cartoon characters. Christopher Lloyd was hilarious as always. I hope we see him pop up again next season. He was perfect. I liked the Dan/Mark side plot as well. Just lots of good character moments which were needed. I loved how it was the gals playing cards. Was really nice to see Crystal and Nancy back. Wish they had more but it was nice. With them just popping up it just felt ... right. Pretty much agreed with you as always @Juliajms

REALLY enjoyed tonight's episode. Jackie and Bev was definitely the highlight. But the script was great. I laughed a lot. Estelle Parsons is just a delight and so on point. I enjoyed seeing Crystal and Nancy again. The Mark/Dan b story was good as well. It felt old school and I really enjoyed it.

She adds nothing but at least she's happy and not always arguing or has a scowl on her face, she can laugh at Joy's jokes and not make a big deal about things. I've come to tolerate Paula. Something about her just bugs me but I don't really dislike her. She's just kind of ... there. Last Friday and on weekend GMA she was extra lively and boisterous and had her sex hair going on. She must have been boning her man good all week or something. Meghan is just a total bitch at times. She stomps out with her sourpuss face and takes everything the wrong way (like a lot of Republicans it seems). As someone said at the table, people hear what they want to hear and take things how they want to take things. People get offended because they choose to be offended. Yes, some things ARE offensive. But ugh, Meghan. SHUT UP. PLEASE SHUT UP. She is making this show a chore to get through. It's awkward and uncomfortable. I miss Jed and Nicolle Wallace SO much. The last name McCain is the only reason Meghan has this job. Her father's great and I wish him the best of health and hope he gets through this. I feel badly for what he's going through, it's horrible. Maybe Meghan needs to step away and spend this time with her father (I know he loves The View and pushed her to take the job). And I say that because he's sadly not getting any younger. As a human, go be with your father. And for me, it saves my ear drums.

Chuck and Anne Marie won't be in this week's episode but they're back in Episode 7. Episode 8, Crystal is back for a second episode. Episode 9, Chuck is back again. This week's features Crystal, Nancy, Bev and Lou (Bev's boyfriend)

I did end up watching. Whoopi coming for Ben Carson was good. Sunny Lawd Meghan coming for Joy. Meghan is so quick to react and find a problem when there isn't one.

Yep. And the show does well in the DVR numbers. I think it's still averaging like 18 million viewers when you factor in delayed viewing .... It's truly a hit. Again!

No new episode tonight. Marathon of four episodes, the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th episodes are airing.
