Tripp is too boring for the Devil. You know Ron's Devil is all hot for Ben It is really nice seeing John and Julie interacting. You can tell DH is enjoying it. Phloe feels like an afterthought, even with the nice flashbacks we got. There's no investment there and that's a shame. I feel like it's always going to end up with Brady/Chloe. Brady/Chloe/Phillip/Ava/Jake/Gabi could all be SO interesting mixing it up but yet ... zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Lots of single folks! I'm in agreement on Mercedes and Sylver. They work for me and I don't really think they need to put the audience through investing in yet another 'good man' for her. He's it (unless the actor bolts then you know the dude is dead) I liked Brody and the actor was good. It's a bit of a loss but I was feeling like one of Damon/Brody needed to go. Not that I dislike either. Just to free up a spot on the show (I just know the show and it felt like the writing was on the wall). I know he's apparently popular (and I like that I can almost always say 'I like the actor so it's not their fault') but Warren's time feels up too. It just feels like it's time to let him go. There's still some stuff left but yeah ...

I have to say I was always suspicious of 'Rocky' from the start. It all seemed 'too good to be true' (and it was) with him. It's a nice twist I suppose. I like him so I hope they don't write him into a corner. So they will. I just can't take beer belly Ben seriously. LOL. I miss the cuter Ben's with the glasses and personality. Nailed it This Ben is hard to invest in. The writing doesn't help. The actor is fine, I like him.

I would have made Easton Dr. Tom Hardy. Yeah they do have sibling chemistry but I like them together. Not necessarily in a romantic sense. Exactly on Valentin. They stumbled in the beginning but thanks to Stuart being so good and not forcing his 'redemption' it works and made him a viable option for Anna. Something I never would have wanted a few years ago. They don't learn and here they stumbling with Cyrus and Peter (and Mr. Julliard doesn't help)

Yeah. I appreciate who Alan gets, but he really isn't an interviewer. It's frustrating and why I really don't watch anymore. I think these get togethers were meant to be 'hangouts' not 'interviews'. But he needs to read the room. You also have to remember he was loooong in PR and still acts like that. Not sure why but he seems to still be trying to play the middle and not cause any waves with 'tough' questions. I get it, but it's frustrating. Especially when he has guests who are willing to talk. Like Goutman, who seemed to want to get more into things. I don't like Goutman but I still ultimately appreciate hearing from him, just like Phelps, and others. I'm not shocked at all CBS and P&G wanted the soaps dead. They no longer served a purpose for P&G/Telenext. That was clear for years and years before they went off the air. We all knew they had no interest. I guess CBS never really wanted to 'buy' GL and ATWT if they wanted them dead so badly? I'd like more info here ... And just featuring 'young people' doesn't generate a better demo. Sorry Goutman. And who called Lisa unimportant? Goutman?

I still prefer TB and SJB as Carly. Laura Wright is serviceable in the role and I'm used to her as Carly now but I'd still take either back in a heartbeat. I always assumed SJB and TB were kinda pushed out, but yeah of course it was on their own, but still ... I question the treatment SJB has gotten on her soap roles. Phelps wasn't exactly a fan favorite of SJB, Tamblyn, Francis ... several actresses couldn't seem to run fast enough away (or were being pushed out) IMHO, SJB should still be Carly to this day. I wish she were. But she's not. It is what it is LOL. And I don't think they care much about 'endgame' couples, but Carly and Sonny should never have been a long-running 'endgame' couple. Especially with LW as Carly. Sorry but they don't have chemistry and they write LW's Carly as a Brenda/Carly hybrid. It's time to stop catering to the stanbases and just write the damn show

They really do. Although Y&R is right up there. And considering their current shows ... I will say I like Valentin and Anna together and I never thought I'd be saying that. I also don't hate Elizabeth and Finn. I don't see any future with them but something about them works for me.

Their stanbase can't handle any conflict. Ron has to coddle them. To be fair, Hope and other women went through lots of trauma in the 80s and seemed to just carry on like nothing happened to them LOL. Kim was the only one who seemed to carry any trauma. You'd have to know the history to ignore it LOL I mean, he basically said "oh [!@#$%^&*]" writing in Shane with Ben and Ciara because, you know, Shane's granddaughter was Paige. So they had to address it. I know it's easy to forget all of that but it shows his agenda regarding Ben. "Who cares?" Honestly I found all of it stupid so I don't really care they don't address any of it. But of course they SHOULD. lol. And guess who Ron wanted for Harrison Lord? TOM EPLIN. He was going to do it until he couldn't film.

I think that's probably why she never really seemed to take off; she really never got much of a chance. I also now wonder if she was a victim of switching HW's too. I'd have to check on the dates.

The optics of it all look very bad Meanwhile, I feel like they could do a lot more with Brooke. It's really time for Bell to hang up his writer's pen. He's not even trying. The Sheila return is already feeling like a bust and all she does is scare Steffy. OK. That's not a story.

Yeah, that's how I expect it to go for a while. Lord. I like 6 of those characters yet the writing and lack of direction and current 'story' leaves me so uninterested and they could all go tomorrow and I'd be fine.

Me either. Chloe was very different from Katherine. I loved V too. The actress was good. They did completely drop it, and her. The show tried with Hannah but because they weren't fully invested in writing for AJ or Taggert as anything other than foils for Sonny they had no place for her. Shame. But yeah, she was also SUCH a blatant Brenda replacement. Looking back she was more or less doomed to fail.

I liked them both. I agree on the chemistry between Real Andrews and Vultaggio. I couldn't see Chloe with Sonny. Tava Smiley was so likeable. I think at the time she was often dismissed as a Katherine replacement. The Chloe/Jax/Ned/Alexis quad was so likeable. Remember "V"? She never got her due either.

lol those girls are crazy trains and I'm here for it. Did anyone see Benard trying to calm his crazy Carson stans on social media? Laaaawd. Phyllis needs to get her ass to Port Charles.

Just a thought. Probably not but it's interesting timing that they're talking about a baby as the devil runs around. And we know Marlena is Ben's mother figure (gag - I'd care if he wasn't a killer)

THIS (and all they had to do was say he wasn't the killer) They've lacked real conflict. It seems they're playing into it now, sort of. But it's probably leading to them having Rosemary's Baby or something. I mean, yes, we've ignored and shrugged off a lot of stupid [!@#$%^&*] over the years but it's ridiculous that Ben and Will are besties after he strangled him, for example. I mean ... this is just one reason why our soaps have lost credibility. I guess some don't care because 'it's a soap' and that's totally fine. I get it. We have a Devil Possession going on right now (which I'm all for). I've resigned myself to 'it is what it is' I guess, with Ben.

I kinda lost interest mid-week so I need to catch up ... but I did watch today. I see what they're going for with Sonny/Nina and Jason/Carly but I'm still furious with the lack of initial fallout and drama. I have mixed feelings on it, but if Esme isn't Ryan's daughter I don't see the point. I don't have time for another Willow. Embrace her inner looney toon. I would have liked a bit more set up with Trina/Spencer/Esme but it's currently one of two things I care about going on. Josslyn works better as supporting with Trina as the lead. Just sayin ... The other is Scott and Obrecht. I don't really give a damn about nuVictor's desires and honestly he doesn't feel like a Cassadine. Shaughnessy is great as a villain though. I like that it gives weight to Scott and Obrecht's relationship. A rare bright spot and the second thing going on I care about. Although I'm pretty sure Victor's likely the 'fall guy' for Peter. I like that Maxie has gotten a bit of her spark back and has more biting lines and comedic snark again. I wanted a bit more from her with Nina based on what I've heard. Nikolas and Spencer gave me Stefan/Nikolas vibes with the chess playing and talk about Trina. I know some tired of her, but I kinda miss Helena and would love to see her with this Spencer and Nikolas. I'm also glad Spencer learned about Sonny. I appreciate beats being played. I agree. I thought Watros and even Benard did well at the end. I see what they're possibly going for. Nina/Sonny and Jason/Carly. But I don't love how we got here. I just can't give them the benefit of the doubt at all right now. They definitely have to win me back in terms of proving they can deliver. I don't have faith under Frank but considering how panned Sonny's initial reunion with Jason and Carly was ... but I assume he thinks 'nobody gets it'. lol. I have to.

Love MarDevil hovering around Doug. He's filling the Father Francis role. Julie is in Caroline's spot. (Although, obviously, under different circumstances, but still. And JER was more fascinated by the religious aspects, which Caroline helped with) John looks like he's clutching his pearls not his heart LOL. He knows.

LOL yeah, the Stanco stans are deflated because he isn't Franco and never interacts with Liz. I LOL. But the reality is Austin isn't working. NOBODY is interested in him. Howarth seems like a good guy who is liked BTS, but it's time to go. The storyline setups all had potential so to drop the ball screams of interference. It's cute seeing the couple stans whine about 'the writers' (which is what Frank loves to see), who yes have some blame as well for certain things. Yet it's really about the fact that they can't stand 'the writers' broke up their favorite chemistry-free coupling. Newsflash stans: 2014-2018 wasn't great either. And exactly with Guza. It was well written. I hated a lot of it. But I'll give credit where credit is due. I just don't understand the obsession with Peter. Frank hates us. That's all I got. Funny how Laura Wright took a Twitter break as all of this drama free [!@#$%^&*] hits the screen. And Peter's return. She knew. LOL. (I also imagine she was being unbelievably [!@#$%^&*] on by crazy stans who can't tell an actor apart from their character)

Definitely true with her. Debbi Morgan. Eva La Rue. Josh Duhamel. Amanda Seyfried to a much lesser extent. Michael Nader, John Callahan ... David Canary ... (RIP) lots of actors and actresses who had fame back in the day when fame meant people actually knew you and you were a household name ... it's all likely helped keep the show relevant. And I think it helps too that the show isn't seen as 'tarnished'. Even though we had some YIKES years ... it's legacy is pretty good. It's such a special show. Thank you Agnes Nixon.
