I think this whole cliffhanger would have worked better if everyone was at the wedding. Like the entire town and it seemed important. The only cast members I can think of who would have zero reason to be there would be Gwen/Xander and Paulina/Chanel. Everyone else is related to Ciara or dating someone important to Ciara or related to Theo. Even the Nicole/EJ/Sami stuff could have taken place and then they all end up at the wedding like JER used to do in the 90's. Other stories took place, but they all took place at the same event. Even if you hate Cin a bunch of other stories would be simmering at the wedding and it wouldn't be so bad. Alas, I know budget interferes but 4 people at the wedding was lame. The other problem is the stakes aren't high. If Ciara was marrying someone random or a villian it would make more sense for Ben to kidnap her. At this point does it matter if she marries Theo? Ciara has previously been married, presumably is already sleeping with Theo, and he's not going to do anything to harm her. So if Ciara gets her memory back they could just divorce lol? Ben is just being a creeper and trying to accelerate her memory coming back.

Yeah, I think it just changed with different writing regimes, but he did awful things to people. Multiple people in town. Everything about EJ has always been a clusterf*ck right down to his SORAS ing. I think it was mostly saved due to James Scott's charisma. It's looks like Ron is turning nu EJ into a full on bad guy, so maybe that will work better. I am not too worried about EJami. They don't have much chemistry and it looks like this going to go into a Lumi as soulmates thing now. Will would actually be useful right now. He can be involved in this drama and help Allie with her sexuality. He can leave Sonny in Arizona.

Things Luann have said and done lead my to believe she at the very least has a very troubled relationship with alcohol. I think she is someone who can control it in most situations, but it seems like when she goes she goes really hard. To me that's just another definition of an alcoholic just not the "drunk all day" type. But I don't know her and it's not my business. I do agree I don't think Luann will stay sober. I feel like she is bowing to public perception of her having a drinking problem and being sober as a storyline. I am of half the mind she switching out her fake rose for real rose but then she'd be more fun. She just looks anxious and annoyed anytime anyone drinks and it just throws off the usual dynamic. I like Luann though I would keep her before Ramona. I just think Eboni is a bad fit with these women. She might work better on a different show, but not this current one. Perhaps she would work better with Bethenny and Dorinda. I can take or leave Leah. She doesn't bother me as much as most, but she's annoying. Lol about Jill, but I always wanted to Jill/Bethenny to make up. You know Andy, if it gets ratings he doesn't care. He seems over it.

They seem to have a large following on twitter and facebook, but I don't think it's an unpopular opinion for people with taste lol. The problem is they got a lot of good press initially and even I was mildly intrigued by their initial chemistry (which I do think RSW/VK have), but it's been taken about 1000 levels too far.

VK certainly managed to do that lol. I am glad Ben let us know Allie was a good person. I needed his verification. Did anyone else find it adorable that Doug plays racquetball twice a week and is the best in his league? I would rather watch those matches over this lol

I want to be team Ciara on this but she is so smug. Ugh. I seriously dislike all of them (Claire, Ben, Ciara). Theo gets a pass because he doesn't have much of a POV.

I think it's okay when a couple like Eric/Nicole say it. They have been in love for years and years even if they weren't together. I think it's very true in a way that they loved one another deeply but can't be together at this point in there lives. It's used a lot when one part of the couple leaves the show and doesn't die. I think it's just an easy way to keep the door open. I think it just depends on the couple. If Jarlena or Steve/Kayla said it I would believe it obviously. If Gabi/Jake say it probably not lol. I think Nicole/Eric have enough mileage and years behind them to make it work.

If this was brand new behavior by Sonja I think I would be more concerned, but she has been doing this for years and Luann and Ramona seem to genuinely be her friend on and off the show, so I would imagine more would be done off the show if they were truly worried. Also, Eboni didn't seem terribly worried either and she seems to at least seem to truly care for Sonja. Idk, the women was clearly intoxicated, but she seems to go from 0 to 60 quick. I wonder if it's a mixture of pills and booze for her. I do think production encourages this and I think so many great moments were made because these woman were drunk and doing funny things. I think part of the reason the show has stalled, sadly, is because Leah and Luann are sober. I applaud both of them for their sobriety and I think Leah has a better grip on being sober in a group setting, but I think it's clear Luann still struggles with feeling comfortable. I miss Bethenny so much. She was always my favorite. I think if Bethenny and Dorinda were to come back, Ramona would be disposable. As of now, I would keep the main 3, ditch Leah and Eboni, and look for some old cast mates. I would love to see Jill Zarin back and see what her life is like now after her husband's passing.

Luann said this more than once. And said she was just drunk in her own hotel room. Umm..that's not even what happened and I understand why Sonja wouldn't take this all seriously. Those 3 had good intentions, but they weren't the right people to talk to Sonja about it. The optics of Sonja's drinking is really hard for me to gauge. It looks awful and the altercation seemed highly edited, but I do get the feeling that Sonja does drink more while filming due to anxiety. I don't know any of the ladies obviously but I have thought all of Luann, Sonja, Ramona, and Leah had drinking problems throughout the show. And the storyline of Sonja being so broken and having a drinking problem has been going on as story for seasons. Luann seeming to barely cling to sobriety is almost more troubling. It's hard to say if this is helping any of their lives, but you can't do a show without Ramona, Sonja or Luann and I truly believe they are good friends.

I want to say you are right about something going on between JS and AZ, but I can't think of what. I don't think it was an affair situation, but something about being inappropriate with her. But she was harassed by our former president so I assume she got over it. The show always was laser focused on EJami when they both did awful things to one another. So weird, but I am not sure what still stands with their past and what has been whitewashed. I mean, John should never be in a room with him because of EVERYTHING and he let EJ stay in his house and they seem fine.

There isn't a Nicole pairing I really ship, but I agree her and EJ were more equals. Nicole is always trying to climb out of that schemer/sinner role with Eric. I didn't mind Nicole/Brady either, but they got really dysfunctional. I do enjoy them as friends. I wouldn't mind Nicole/EJ teaming up to take down Sami after the reveal. It would be a shame to waste AZ on Rafe and a bear when she is so obviously capable of so much more. Did Eric really leave without seeing Holly at all? On another note, Claire looked adorable today. Her outfit was cute. I wish I liked ID as Claire more. She continues to be one of the best styled actresses on the show.

I think they tend to do that because both AZ and GV excel at that weepy stuff honestly. AZ is a pretty good crier lol. I never thought they had much romantic chemistry either, but it was passable and they look nice together. Sometimes, on Days I take small victories like that. It doesn't help that Nicole has had a lot of love interests and I think I may have liked her best with EJ. Anyhow, with the comings and goings of each actor the seem to get stuck all the time. Ericole have been together on and off for years, but they have been happy for a month? I know CC has all but retired from acting, but I want to see her back so bad. She's still broken up from Austin I think? Think of the fun scenes EJ/Carrie could have with Anna/Tony. I can see the appeal of EJ/Belle too though. Belle is definitely likes bad boys more than Carrie. I will say it's odd Belle only has one kid and it's an adult now. I am just weary of the whose the daddy stuff with them because I felt like most of Martha's run was initially spent on WTD, custody stuff, and weird surrogate things and I disliked that. Under-served is a perfect term. They are never happy. There isn't payoff for the fans because one of them is always leaving lol. I think GV's Eric always struggled with odd writing. The whole priest thing? Serena? A pairing with Jen? He gets points for killing Daniel, but most of his stories have been pretty bad.

Thank goodness! They were the most chaste teenage group on a soap of all time lol. And always dealing with death. So depressing lol.

Oh for sure. I was just curious if we are supposed to believe what Lucas is saying because it's not something playing on screen and it hasn't in years. It seems the show is going really hard on Lucas continually saying that when he could easily just say EJ has been a horrible human being since the beginning of time and that would be more accurate. I am not against it in theory. It's just she finally seems settled with Shawn and the show has made an effort to establish that. Again Carrie/EJ would be where's it at. Belle's too wimpy to constantly go against Sami, but Carrie wouldn't care. And it's better than freaking Rafe. It worked very well. I have never been sold on Ericole as the be all and end all for either character, but AZ/GV are great screen partners. The past two days have been really good. I feel like I am going to be annoyed with this predictable Cin/Theo stuff though.

Good stuff by both her and GV! Next week I feel AZ will be back talking to that bear though. I loved a lot of the lines Nicole said about being destructive and hurting herself. And Eric admitting to his own selfishness and part in it. It was the best outcome we were going to get without GV coming back full time and it closes the door on Ericole for now, but leaves the possibility for the future. Why is Phillip cleaning up the pub? I thought it was weird yesterday and it's still weird today. I have to laugh at this Cin stuff. It's pretty mean to marry Theo on the same day lol. I want to root for Theo/Ciara, but we have seen nothing of their romance. We don't even see them together. They spend all their time talking to others about getting married. I don't get Lucas's narrative that EJ treats Sami like property. That's not what it has seemed like since he came back at all? He seems apologetic for past behavior and nice to her. Obviously, this could all change on a dime, but nothing on screen is lining up with that at the moment.

I was never a EJami fan, just a James Scott shirtless fan, so if they don't end up having much chemistry I am fine with them breaking up. AS and BD's Lucas have plenty of chemistry, so it's fine. I have a love/hate relationship with Belle. I want to love her because her conception was so fabulous and love John/Marlena, but I have never been a fan. It's not Martha at all. I thought KS's Belle was an obnoxious twit too. Martha seems lovely and consistently does great work, but Sami is right. Belle is a 'wet noodle'. That being said she deserves to be on the show and I don't want her written off-I just want to tell her to shut up a lot. Similarly, I have never taken to Brady either. The last time I enjoyed those two was when they were played by adorable children. Belle does seem very devoted to Shawn and I don't think that's changing, but an EJ/Belle pairing would be deliciously soapy. If she did that to Sami I would like her so much more lol. I don't think that's what the show is setting up, but I could get into it. Poor Shawn though. He always gets cheated on. My dream would be for Carrie to come back and hook up with EJ

Nu EJ is growing on me. I immediately thought I wasn't going to like him because he's just not as hot as James Scott. Petty, I know. He's doing okay though. His lack of chemistry with Ali/Sami is troubling. I don't know if it was this board or someplace else, but someone did randomly suggest a Belle/EJ hook up. Maybe? Simpering is a good way to describe Belle. I think Martha Madison is really great, but 98% of the time Belle annoys me. She'll be fine for months and then she will act how she did yesterday and I remember why she is so obnoxious. John's belief in Sami was strange. Even Marlena and Roman knew she was up to it lol. I am glad this finally propels Nicole/Eric forward. I know GV is leaving, but this does feel like something Eric will eventually forgive. Let's face it. Nicole's done worse.

I have talked a lot about my hatred for the show SORAS ing Belle so early. It irritates me so much she is basically Sami's age and they reference things that happened on screen when Belle was a baby and Sami was a teen. Shawn and Belle were cute for a minute, but it's a whole lot of nothing today. WTH is Shawn? I think Jarlena's only child should be so much more amazing than she is.

Belle was being pretty Judgy Mcgee with her take on infidelity considering she committed it several times and wouldn't exist without her parents affair. I like that she hates Sami so much and John is like " no Sami would never..." John you have known Sami for about 40 years you know she would lol. Good episode though. I weirdly like when Marlena and Roman are supportive of their kids. They work in that sense.

Ugh I know. I was in that position recently and was miserable. Luckily, some things ended up going my way and my husband got a big promotion, so this job was just for "fun". It's definitely not worth the discount lol. I think there is just so much confusing info out there. Some people are telling me it's literally impossible others are saying it's completely possible to get it while vaxxed. Who knows? I know I have it lol. I can only focus on myself and my loved ones and try not to spread it. I can't worry about other people's stupidity.

So I have definitely heard there are false positives especially with the quick test I took, so I am going to the actual doctor in a few days to get re-tested. I know the first time I had Covid I tested negative after exposure then tested positive 2 days later. It is something to think about because my case is very unlikely to happen. Anyhow, I am just laying low and quarantining regardless. Luckily, I am in the financial position to not have to go back and I think that's most likely for me. If my boss is going to refuse to vax there is no need for me to put myself and my family in danger. The job isn't worth it lol.
