Same. I am not a huge MA fan, but I think looks, age, and even acting wise she would have been fine. The story could have basically been the same as well with the baby, Xander, etc. I definitely think MA would play it more spunky and less cutesy. I feel like this is going to be one of those dumb JER like scenarios where everyone keeps quiet to 'protect' Sarenne, but it would just be so much easier to tell her the truth. It's pretty obnoxious now that Craig's out he's just going to ogle any man that walks his way. Johnny's hot, but really?

Gotcha. The first mistake was bringing on someone so young to play Sarah and LG just plays her so annoyingly. Also, is Sarah supposed to be in her 40's? Because Renee died 40 years ago and Sarenee said herself Sarah was a toddler lol. It just seems like a delusion everyone could easily debunk for her. She may still need mental health treatments, but the evidence is fairly easy to prove that she's not Renee. Is everyone is Salem just going to let her run around town with this delusion like Kayla is?

I suppose they could use flashbacks of Tony/Anna/Renee as how they are perceived in Sarah's mind. Perhaps the way she sees them is as they were, but that's a stretch. I sorta want her to see Tony as a 70 year old and run screaming from the room, but I doubt that will happen. It seems people could very easily explain this all to Sarah quickly by showing her Carrie is a full grown adult, Marlena has great grandkids, Sarah's own driver's license, photos, the fact Renee is literally dead, etc. There are about 10,000 better ways to do this, but Ron chose one of the least logical and stupid.

For sure, but I think it will be quite obvious Anna is past her child bearing years so it couldn't be that recent. Maybe if they left that tidbit out. Sarah/Renee has to know that years have passed because Kayla is a doctor and wasn't even a nurse yet when Renee last saw her. I know I am trying to be slightly logical, but putting a 30 something in a story with a bunch of 60 year olds is a choice. I think this story would be mildly interesting if someone from the past or someone more age appropriate thought they were Renee. I am not sure who, but Sarah is like my last choice. I am not even going to touch the Craig/Johnny silliness, but I did like Marlena/Nancy today.

AGREED. I am not asking you do this @JAS0N47, but only 90 times in all those years? I wonder how many times they showed Bo/Hope or John/Marlena in their bedrooms throughout the years. Probably near 1000. I know it's not the same thing at all and not comparable and times have changed, but the DH's were churning out full out love scenes in their 50's which is the same age FR was when she started.

Exactly. I think everyone in the story kicked it up a notch as well. KMc, MB, and to a lesser extent VM all got great material and really shined like they never had before. You could tell everyone from writers, producers, actors, etc truly cared about telling this story as accurately as possible. It's honestly a shame MS quit acting because he became such a great talent.

This probably a more random one since Stone was basically his only acting role, but Michael Sutton. When he appeared on GH I never would have imagined MS could pull off the story he had both emotionally and physically. MS was never awful, but grew as an actor so much in 2 years. Agree with everyone on Ari Zucker as well.

Lol. Fair. I am totally not doubting their off screen activities I just could never remember anything more than a few kisses and hugs on screen. I was just curious if they ever got a fade to black sorta love scene or even a day they were shown (clothed) waking up together in bed. I can't think of any other established couple on Days that never even got a hint of a love scene.

This is probably a weird question, but I am curious did Alice/Tom ever have a love scene? Not that I need a Tom/Alice love scene in my life but were they ever shown having a love scene or in bed cuddling together? I know times were different back then, but it's odd they are in twin beds when sex clearly shown on the show at the time

I know there were a few, emphasis on few, scenes with Rick and Monica that were either flirty or hinted something might happen back then. I have to think they intended to play that beat and Rick's entire story short when GF left. I 100% think they were going with a Rick molested Laura story in the beginning

This is just a small part of her meltdown lol. Your opinion about Trusova is correct, but I have just loved her since she was 13 and skated to Big Spender. I love inappropriate tacky programs sometimes. She started this quad trend and deserved some reward. Anna's jumping technique is very questionable to me, but she is the much prettier skater. Valieva was the whole package. It's a shame because these girls could have stood at the top on their own above the doping.

It was on the USA coverage right after Kamila left the kiss n' cry. She was saying (in Russian) she wouldn't go on the medal stand and didn't understand the results. She was hysterical and yelling, but eventually calmed down to do the awards ceremony. It's on the Peacock Premium feed still at the end. I don't speak Russian-Johnny Weir was translating and the full translation is on social media. Trusova has long been my favorite since she was a young, young girl. Anna is okay to me, but I actually would have preferred Trusova to win just out of the sheer technical content. It's so hard to say how long these girls have been doping because Kamila, Sasha, and Anna were 'known' when they were 9 or 10 as exceptional talents in skating circles. The fact is they are so, so far ahead of the field it's crazy. But doping is doping and we had a girl in US pairs (Jessica Calalang) that had to sit out about 8 months for doping because of eyelash serum until she was cleared. So it's awful it happened to a lovely, wonderful skater like Valieva and the adults around her are to blame, but what's fair is fair. And I would have pulled her out before the event to protect her from this and the worst skate of her entire life.

So I was as highly competitive figure skater when I was younger until about 18. I think I have mentioned this before offhand here. Kamila is one of the greatest talents I have ever seen. This Russian coaching program has long been suspecting of doping though. There are girls upon talented girls in this particular camp. It's not only Kamila that had a breakdown today, but all 3 Russian girls are coached by the same team. It was the craziest thing I have ever seen. Valieva melting down, the winner (Scherbekova) standing alone after her win, and Trusova (2nd) having a meltdown before the awards is nothing I have seen in my years of watching skating. I can honestly say as someone who is still part of the figure skating community-I am not sure where we go from here. The whole event felt very tainted and sad.
