The custody battle isn't worth someone paying me to watch it lol. I still have no problem paying for Days, but if you break it down by story most aren't worth paying for. I am paying to see 1 or 2 I like.

Thanks! I knew they were Stacy's and they are cool-I just don't think it's something Kristen would have as a character. Although I do remember the show giving an explanation. Obviously, it's not the main issue I have with SH's Kristen, but it's just another thing that doesn't vibe with Eileen's version.

As minor and superficial as it sounds, IA it's a weird choice for Kristen as a character to have a bunch of tattoos, especially such a large one on her back.

I assume more. Because I think at one point Brady, Sami/EJ, and Chloe plus Rachel were staying there and Chloe/Brady weren't together. Then Chad, the kids, and Brady/Chloe and Rachel stayed there a few nights. I would assume at least 5. They are located all near that one hallway where the kitchen, bathrooms, and dining room are at as well lol. So since neither Belle nor Sami are staying there, but I assume Brady/Rachel still are there should be room for Johnny-and he wouldn't have to sleep on the couch even though Allie/Chanel's apartment should also have 1 more room since Nicole, Allie, and Holly/Henry once lived there. But I did just put more thought into both sets/houses than Ron has ever so who knows?

Johnny could easily move into John/Marlena's. They let everyone in.

But, in theory, wouldn't they at least be able to address Kristen's long absences, stints in jail, lack of stability, tendency to leave town/kidnap Rachel, and the fact Brady has been her main caretaker most of her life? Plus, the fact Brady has a large extended family to help care for Rachel as well? Anyhow, not necessarily disagreeing with you, but there is a width breadth of relevant things to bring up in regard to stability that have nothing to do with criminal activity. I don't know enough about law or family law though to accurately make a case. But I assume I know as much about the law as Kristen lol, who is representing herself here.

This makes less sense than usual I feel like Belle is a horrible lawyer. Brady should have hired Carrie. There are so many things Belle could literally do. Including have her own parents testify against Kristen. Or Nicole/Eric. Or Brady himself.

Yeah I watched the beginning. I can't believe this Kristen/Brady custody thing is supposed to be taken seriously. Rachel doesn't like Chloe, so Kristen should get custody because of that? Kristen's pretty much every move the last 25 years has been criminal. This makes no sense. Allie/LA tend to overdue the bright eyeshadow a lot I've noticed. The other day it was really bright green.

Days-Susan-she isn't on a lot, but I can't stand her. I could barely tolerate her in the ED days, but I want to change my channel (or turn off Peacock lol) every time I hear her grating voice. Sarah is probably the second most annoying character to me. Everything about the way LG plays her from her baby voice to her quirkiness, her weird, sliding scale of morality with Xander, her time as Renee and as young Sarah-I just can't stand Sarah. Kristen-I am so over the character. GH-There are a long list of characters I find completely useless-Cody, Austin, Willow, Brando, Drew, Finn, Nina, etc, but I would say Carly and Michael rank as most insufferable. There are definitely times and eras where I have liked Carly, but she's been fairly insufferable for years now. I liked Michael in the early Chad Duell years, but I haven't liked him in at least 7 or 8 years. I find him so judgmental and obnoxious

If Sarah said this was the straw that broke the camel's back and that it's all too much I could understand. But she made it seem like that act was worse than all the other things he did. Not a combination of everything being too much to bear. And, again, they just got married and have been through worse, so I can't take this seriously at all.

I love Aremid so much, but this was kind of a dull promo. Just Jack wondering around looking for a ghost (rachel)? It wasn't very exciting.

On the scale of Xander's misdeeds it seems pretty tame. I know she cares about Eric, but it wasn't that bad on Xander's end except for exposing it. But it was the truth, so Idk. I am sure this is annoying for Xander/Sarah fans and I am not sure why Xander didn't just come out with everything all at once. The Nicole/Xander thing is a pretty much dead issue. It's not the sole reason Eric/Nicole broke up. Xander/Nicole have no feelings for one another, so, like, what's the point here? Sarah is going to forgive him eventually.

I think Eric has regret over being an absentee husband, but I don't think he's necessarily changed, or Nicole has. I think Eric's expectations for his life partner remain too much for Nicole to achieve and it still causes her to act out. I am not sure Nicole will ever be quite content with someone that stifles a lot of her natural instincts even if she loves him very much. I thought it was slightly progressive. Kate seems the worst off while Marlena seemed like the last to feel effects. Marlena was still up and around as was Kayla.

I am an early riser by nature and always have been, so it works for me. I did that with Beyond Salem as well. I would lose my mind and probably start texting family and friends (who would not care lol). But same. She's not coming back full time ever IMO and will likely to be used to wrap up GH or Sonny's story. But one can hope. @TonksadoraI am watching now. You've piqued my interest for the show lol. Days needs you as a hype person lol. I still don't get Eric/Nicole. I know they are the lovestory and endgame and don't mind them, but what has changed about them as a couple as far as ideals and lifestyles since when they broke up? Nicole hasn't changed. Eric hasn't changed. Eric is just in town now. There hasn't been any change in the fundamentals of the characters and if anything Nicole's gotten worse with bad decisions.

I would absolutely PM you and probably just make a post stating she's back on the main discussion page in all caps after I recover from passing out from shock at her ever coming back lol. @Taoboi is referring to Vanessa Marcil returning as Brenda on GH. I haven't watched today yet, but this actually sounds like one of Orpheus's better plans and I a happy about that. I actually do see the appeal of watching Days first thing while getting ready for work or starting your day. A lot of times later in the day I don't feel like watching Days or want to watch other things I missed. It's really nice to have the option to watch it early.

Haha! I guess I'll be courteous if/when the day comes that something worth spoiling or shocking happens. Everyone will know the shows worth watching that day if I put a spoiler tag in. I didn't notice. Is the set different? Maybe they are using a guest bedroom since so many people live in their house on and off. 🤣

I would assume everyone in here has the common sense not to check the thread out if they don't want to be spoiled on things currently airing, but I have seen posters complain before in the past. I mean, unless Marlena, Kate, and Kayla died today-I don't think anyone who's ever seen the show is surprised they got sick or are spoiled. I was trying to be nice for once lol.

I think. I am on the west coast so I won't be spoiling episodes at 3 am, but I don't want to spoil it for a bunch of people who watch later on. I guess posters can let us know if they frequent in here and consistently watch later in the day.

Did Jada and Eric have a love scene? Or did they just wake up in bed together today? Did I miss it or ff it by accident? Also, do we have a consensus on when to mark things spoilers and when to discuss today's episode 'freely'?

The problem with Kristen is her characterization and writing. Even at her worst in the 90's I never viewed her as a supervillian and I think she could have come back from the John/Susan/Marlena stuff in time. Without getting too far into things I have said countless times the way ED came back in 2013 and seemed like she was a changed person, but was still calculating and out for revenge was worked well. It was still pretty small scale revenge -and still tied to John/Marlena. SH's Kristen has been either written as an absolute psycho villian or as an anti-heroine playing house with Brady and hugging Marlena. Kristen being fixated on Chloe/Brady is so stupid for someone with her power and evil mind. Agree about Rachel and just taking off with her. Agreed. Unless you are truly trying to redeem Kristen (which the show isn't) why keep her around? It loses the effectiveness of the character because in order for them to stay evil and on the show multiple plans have to fail and it ruins the sinister threat of the villian (see Orpheus).

I think BF is just telling us his butt is great, which........agreed. Chandler barely appears on screen. He could have filmed 16 scenes in the time it took Billy to wink at us on camera. We don't want to waste Chandler's precious time here lol.

Will is a character that works in adult stories just because of his upbringing and the Sami of it all. I always assumed Will would be more mature than kids his age because he was more mature than his mother and father most of the time-even as a child lol.

I loved Kristen and I do think Stacy gives it her all, but Kristen should have bigger fish to fry than Chloe Lane and trying to reunite with her (almost) former stepson. The idea of Kristen/Brady (with Eileen) was great, but making them a weird lovestory doesn't work. Jada is okay. I don't think she's a bad character, but I personally don't like her at this point. It could change. Yeah, I literally think the new Stephanie is a great find. I am excited to see what she does (outside of Alex). Orpheus was so scary to me as a kid. He wasn't campy like Stefano back then. He was just straight up psycho and deranged. These days none of his plans make any sense and always fail. The scary thing about Orpheus back in 86 is that his plan worked. Marlena 'died' for semi-real-for 5 years. Carson Boatman just isn't a very good actor. I don't think Johnny is a bad character really and hopefully CB gets better. I do think he's cute and charming.

Kristen is absolutely a character that could just pop up when Eileen wants to appear. I have always questioned the decision to keep her full time and to give her a child with Brady. Orpheus clearly just fills the void Stefano left and kidnaps Marlena yearly. If production was better and Orpheus was more adept I would appreciate him more. I really thought Orpheus was a good, scary villian in the 80's. I like the new Stephanie. I really agree about Alex. It's weird they are boxing RSW in with a newbie and hoping it works out. He can interact with a lot of other characters and so can she. I like that Jada has a strong personality and feels like she's getting decent development, but I find her personality pretty grating. I think the actress is good and I will wait and see I guess. Sloan is whatever. It's clear she's going toward Rafe and I don't care about him, so I won't care about her lol. I like Ava/Johnny as well.
