Short Term, Big Impact
My vote would be Stone from GH. He was only on for 2 years and left a huge impact obviously for Robin but Sonny still mentions him regularly.

Kelly reminds me of none of those actresses lol. She has none of any of those ladies' charisma or likability and I suspect Britt will just be a footnote in GH's history. I do know a lot of people seem to share your opinion, but I just don't see myself and I have tried. I must be missing something lol. It's seems so silly to push Michael/Willow together and have them get married, then have them divorce, have her fake marry Chase, and then have Michael/Willow marry for real in a relative short period of time. I guess it is just a way to stall for a big wedding later on or something. I feel like Britt's exit story has been going on for eons now. It has to be ending soon. I feel like we heard about KT's departure 6 months ago.

It's not wrong to hope. It would be wrong to believe because that would never happen. Carly, Sonny, and Joss would survive the apocalypse. 🤣 @titan1978floated Cam as the hook. I haven't watched today's episode, but is that possible? I had no idea that Michael and Willow weren't married lol. I was wondering why he was proposing again. I guess I forgot they got divorced and she pity married Chase. I must have wiped that from my memory.

I just don't know how this kidnapping plot makes any sense. The idea does, but the way they are executing it does not. Even if Eric/Brady get the orchid this all will be easily traced back to them and then Kristen will still have that leverage against them. Anyhow, the Gabi/Stefan/Chloe stuff is moving again at lightning speed. Gabi needs to chill. She's ridiculously aggressive with Stefan. Give him a moment to breathe. I don't think Chloe will be involved much longer because I assume she will just get back with Brady. I like Wendy/Johnny, but I think I liked Wendy/Tripp a little more. I really like Wendy overall. She's a great new character and she's a good sister to Li. I think RH was a little better today at the acting lol. Not great, but he was basically just talking to himself for half an episode. I continue to enjoy Nicole/EJ and this is the story DF should have had all along. Rafe should never have even been in the equation, and it should have been and Eric/Nicole/EJ triangle from the start. Overall, decent episode. I am even coming around a bit on Sloan.

@VeeThe most interesting thing about KT is the fact she looks a lot like Nancy Kerrigan to me lol. In comparison to Sabrina, I can see how she lasted longer, but otherwise I agree with you 100%. She's had nice chemistry with SBu and TC's Nik, but she's never had a pairing that caught fire and they have thrown KT at quite a few leading men. I guess I do enjoy the fact that she is very career driven and I like her relationship with Teri, but I think that's more because I like Teri. I don't hate Britt in the way I hate Nina or Willow, but I won't notice she's gone or miss her.

I have never gotten the Britt love, but she seems pretty popular with fans, TPTB, and soap press. She's a different type of heroine that's a little unique, but she's not the 2nd coming of Brenda Barrett or anything. I don't know why she got an entire episode devoted to her with Sonny in the front dancing along to her karaoke. But, again, this is a show that thinks Michael, Willow, and Joss are compelling leads

@AbcNbc247I feel like the editing of the reveal threw it off. You couldn't get into the performances because it kept cutting to flashbacks. I don't think you could get a feel for the acting because it kept switching back and forth. Agree that it was weird they just moved the episode 4 hours ahead mid way through. It's hard to invest in anything when so much happens off screen.

I wouldn't say Rachel is obscure just not the most memorable character. It's Kristen's actual mother. It's very easy to explain quickly. She was on about the same amount of time as Big Arianna. Obscure is probably Eric who is named after Shawn's brother the child molester lol.

I pretty shocked Gwen from Days didn't make this list. She's pretty useless.

Days: December 2022 Discussion Thread
That's true. It's probably more the fact 'happy' means settled down on Days. Even Ciara immediately wanted children once her and Ben got married and she's like, what, 23 lol. Rafe has always been dumb, but Jada look great! I think you are right about the wedding being at the Dimera mansion. The guests may have been extras, but there was one lady really excited and recording the wedding on her phone in the background lol. She had much more enthusiasm than the actual cast members. Chloe and Stefan just aren't a good match. I like both characters, but together they have no chemistry or excitement. BB and NB just work better with other screen partners. Also, Brady has like 0 chill in this kidnapping plan. It's so obvious he's up to something. I can't stand Kristen, but she should see right through this nonsense.

Days: December 2022 Discussion Thread
The problem with Days (and most soaps) is they age characters too quickly. Not SORASing, but Allie/Chanel act like an old boring middle aged couple. Even with the threesome lol! Will/Sonny have the same issue and they get saddled with ridiculous obstacles like a murder or freakin Leo. I don't understand why Allie/Chanel/Tripp/Johnny etc can't be written like messy 25 years. Nicole/Eric get written like messy 45 year olds. Chanel still has some spark to her, but any freshness Allie has is lost. I do think the complete lack of connection to Allie's own family hurts her. We hear about Allie doing things with her family, but we really don't see it, so she feels nothing like Sami's daughter. She tends to feel very isolated in ways Chanel/Johnny/Tripp even Wendy don't because it feels like all Allie's scenes are with Chanel. It might just be me, but the show mentions Allie doing things off screen all the time that sound vaguely interesting, but they do that with a lot of characters. John/Marlena and Steve/Kayle live most off their lives off screen.🤣 Why weren't Will/Sonny at Gabi's wedding? Did they end up watching Arianna? I know Wendy explained it, but I missed it and didn't feel like rewinding lol.

Days: December 2022 Discussion Thread
Yes! Very weird they used one of Paulina's daughters again. Perhaps if the show left some ambiguity about Chanel's culpability or made the accident more open to interpretation, but it's pretty clear it was a tragic accident. Plus the fact that Sloan can't see or at least empathize the teenage girl seduced by her married teacher was a partial victim makes her seem more unlikable when that's not what I assume the show was going for. Perhaps if the show chose someone like Gwen to be the 'killer' it would have worked better. Not that I care about Gwen at all, but she would have realistically made more sense down to the fact she's English and more age appropriate. Sloan shouldn't be going up against Chanel/Allie-two girls at least a decade younger than her.

Days: December 2022 Discussion Thread
I used to really like Allie, but can't stand her now either. She's such a drag. I don't know why Chanel even wants to be with her. She's a selfish nag lol. It's too bad because Allie/LA has so much potential, but Allie seems like no fun and way too old for her age. The Tripp/Chanel/Johnny/Allie quad had/has so much more story and this show rarely does well with it's young adult scene. The whole Chanel murder plot was just plunked right into the show for no reason. Sloan could have become more sympathetic just from telling that story. We didn't need to drop Chanel/Paulina into it.

It's so silly we had to sit through that stupid murder story when the Johnny/Allie/Chanel triangle with Wendy/Tripp writes itself.
-
Days: December 2022 Discussion Thread
I can't stand Allie anymore either. She's insufferable and her and Chanel are the least exciting couple on the show lol. They had this threesome/insecurity/Johnny triangle and then the show just dropped that and moved on to the Sloan murder story. Now I guess that's over too. I don't care about Stephanie/Ben 2.0 much, but I thought Alex would be the most likely character on the show to have a condom nearby (except maybe Eric these days).

Days: December 2022 Discussion Thread
That show does sound interesting @Soapsuds! So..........is the threesome 'story' just over? Only Johnny/Wendy know, Stephanie didn't find out, Chanel/Allie have no more insecurities and that's it? I know it was a stunt, but it was really pointless. That really has nothing to do with today's show, but I was just wondering why Alex didn't have any condoms with him when he has random sex all the time 🤣

It is odd that Drew has not gravitated more towards Sam and she is stuck in a pretty dead end romance with Dante instead. While Drew has several possibilities for romance Carly really doesn't until she inevitably gets back with Sonny or Steve comes back. Anyhow, I like Carly/Drew better than Sonny/Nina. @TaoboiI figured Carly's reasoning was something like that re: Willow/Nina. She's trying to be 'helpful' but she's just being her usual petty self lol. I still don't know how not having any parents is better than Nina being your mother lol. Nina's an obnoxious twit that I can't stand, but she's not evil or anything. I wish Carly would find a new career since the Metro Court isn't hers anymore. Carly will always be in everyone's business, but I wish she would pretend to do something substantial with her life.

General Hospital: December 2022 Discussion Thread
I actually think Carly/Drew are okay. They have nice chemistry and LW/CM work well together, but it is a waste of a character-or bringing this particular character back. Drew doesn't interact with Sam or Liz at all. CM was always a strange choice for Drew to me because I don't think CM has much range. He's just that blandly handsome and charming guy. To me this relationship feels very similar to Carly/Jax. In fact, CM would have been a good Jax recast if we ignore the Australian part.

General Hospital: December 2022 Discussion Thread
Honestly, I can't even really remember the initial reason for Carly keeping it quiet. Willow is a grown ass adult who can make up her own mind about her parentage and how she chooses to deal with it. Outside of the cancer issue, Carly is just playing God with two people's lives who I personally barely care about and it's just going to cause Carly more problems than it's worth lol. Carly has very little self-awareness, but shouldn't every scheme she's had since 1996 remind her this is going to all end badly?
-
General Hospital: December 2022 Discussion Thread
I am going to be honest, I don't understand why Carly cares that much. I know Willow hates Nina and blah blah, but in the scheme of things is it that big of a deal? I don't see how this is worthy of Carly's time or effort. Why is Carly risking her own happiness over Willow being sad for a few days about Nina? I guess I just don't understand the real harm in Willow knowing the truth.

I swear I saw it, but I went back and rewatched it (because I hate myself lol) and it was Alice Caroline-the Caroline was just more prominent and I can't read apparently. My mind just didn't register that as Allie.🤣🤷♀️

I feel like the writers have finally caught and clue and listened to me about Spinelli/Maxie. I liked them back in the day. I still think it's Maxie's best pairing and I don't think they were each other's back ups. Although I do think Georgie/Spinelli would have been much better. Anyhow, we have all been saying the same about KS for months/years now. I don't think you have to write them out. Spinelli appears often enough that Maxie/Spinelli could be together and KS could finish out her contract and share scenes with others. Then I'd drop KS to recurring and have her and Spinelli pop in and out. It gives the character of Maxie a reasonable out and a bit of a happy ending.

That would have been the quickest and easiest way to end that conversation lol. But you know Ron and his 'nods' to history so we had to deep dive into decades old Horton misdeeds instead. Did anyone notice Baby Bo's ornament said Bo II? Is that what we are going with? Isn't he Bo Jr.? And why does Caroline have an ornament? Is it just honorary since Caroline/PM passed? I have never noticed it before.
