My GL watcher! ❤️ I remember I started a year and half-maybe even two years ago... just watching on my phone with earbuds. I started with the first complete year that was available back then on youtube - 1992. So I've watched all the way through late 1993 and the arrival of the new Alexandra. I still don't remember why I stopped... but it was probably by procrastination - I was putting off continuing all the time. It was an interesting point that I remember perfectly what was happening still. So I can jump right back and not feel lost. I remember I got into EON later... and lost touch. But I have always debated if I should resume where I left off. And I remember enjoying the 1992-1993 seasons tremendously. In fact this was my first taste of anything more classic soap operas... if you don't count classic Bold... I LOVED IT. So I recommend if you have the time to go back and watch from 1992... 1990 and 1991 I think are still uncomplete... and I hate watching with missing episodes. It makes me irritated and I lose motivation to watch. And I promise I will continue with AMC... - it has been my most pleasurable soap so far, so I don't see myself stopping soon. ❤️ AMC attracts me like a magnet.

Seeing you guys commenting on the show... these past few days... I started thinking if I should not resume my watching experience. This was one of the first retro soaps I started watching 2 years ago and last night I found the last episode I had seen... youtube still remembered it, thank God. It was October 18, 1993... and had this yummy scene in it. I may return to it in the future... I remember being discouraged by people telling me that a lot of bad years are to come... I don't even remember why I stopped... probably because I binged too much of it and then forgot to continue due to my ADHD. 🤣 ssssssssssssssss.mp4

That is something we agree on. The entire thing started off like a future-stalker situation... then it grew to Erica wanting to visit that circus every day (because she felt it was "wonderful and magical")... then feeling drawn to the clown who enticed her with his "performance"... So I should believe that Erica Kane - this glamorous millionaire socialite will go back and back to a low-budget circus... to see a "clown" and even run to catch him in the dressing room. And even after they saw his clippings and creepy photos of her... she was still pro-Barney. Don't even start me on the way she "fell" and lost consciousness... so that Barney can save her life. That was sooooooo fake. At least they could have written that something fell and hit her head... the way she spun around and fell reminded me of this... And the bizarre level just went up and up and up... to a point where Erica sounds mad when she claims this is her father. It could have been better if she thought he was a dangerous stalker... but it was in fact her father... and she was very slowly coming to that conclusion... and that would have been more sane and more interesting for me. He has won half dozen Emmys?!!!! I didn't know this! WOOOW. He deserves them.

Oh I agree about the Daddy issues and obsession. I was more referring to the clown stuff. Chasing a ghost and a clown is a little more caricaturish than what I would have liked. Her monologues about Barney were a bit too absurd. And unintentionally funny. If this storyline was written so that she gets suspicious he may be alive slowly and not by some clown that dances in front of her... Then it would have worked better. But I agree that her fixation is in character. My focus is mostly on the way it's being written. I am in no way saying that she is not obsessed with her father and him abandoning her. That's been repeated by the show every single month now for a year and a half. I got it. LOL. I agree about the Adam... Dixie storyline and that's the one part of the show that is working the best for me.

Up to August 15th, 1989 The Age of the copy-paste! 🐍 As if someone said "Let's just repeat what we did with Silver last year!" and... they killed Marissa off. And guess how? You guessed correctly. In the same way they killed Silver off - she just... shot herself in accident. LOL. In storytelling... when you kill someone off, you really NEED a strong reason to do it. If you do it randomly, you are showcasing the most lazy and uninspired habit of writers. In my drama school we had a professor who used to tell us - if you get too many people dying in a play... and it's not Shakespeare... then... it's NOT GOOD. Pass on it. So, yeah, Marissa croaked and all of a sudden David is acting like young Norman Bates. I'm not saying that this storyline doesn't have potential - the young hero turned psycho after losing Mommie dearest... but I doubt this will be written well. I can't wait to see MDP go. ANOTHER NEGATIVE Erica, acting like a cartoon network character... decided she will run off to New York to investigate if Daddy is really alive. I'm sorry guys, but that was the moment to call a doctor and have her examined. The fact that Jackson and Mona are letting her do this... tolerating her monologues about Barney-the-clown... is mind boggling to me. I don't care if that ugly clown is ERIC KANE - Erica is acting like a crazy person. And becoming increasingly annoying in this fake storyline. I miss my 1988 Erica. I want her back. I want my Lorraine Broderick Erica!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW TO THE POSITIVE! Adam has started his campaign to drive Dixie crazy, get her involuntary confined to a psychiatric hospital and steal her baby basically. I doubt he will achieve it... because we have that all so handsome Tad (who's been gaining some muscle lately and showing off) there to help her. The storyline is basic serial cliche... but I love it. The characters make it work. The actors make it work. Adam is really THE DEVIL! Planning to do this to Dixie... after she just had her child kidnapped... is inhumane. And I'm giving Dixie the "Raising star"⭐ award - she entered the picture... stumbling and messy... but in a year... she has become one of the most magnetic presences in the show. And I can almost forgive her for sleeping with a married man. But I won't. And I truly believe what is happening to her is karma for what she did to Brooke. Sorry, not sorry. Yup! People can get emotional as much as they want. If they want... they can get into mental breakdowns for all I care... But I'm also seeing lies and people spreading gossip that the show is disposing of him or that the show treated him badly. And their proof is re-tweets on twitter or... "they feel like this happened". Just because we imagine something, doesn't mean it happened.

There IS a new episode today, right? I'm getting confused. The NO-episodes was last week, right?

I absolutely didn't know about that backlash. Thank you for informing me. I personally prefer Cliff with Angie... even though they haven't been given a proper storyline. They get 1-2 episodes every 2 weeks or so. If the writers want me to invest... I gotta see more. I hate Nina. Just don't like her. She symbolizes the most irritating aspects of soap characters for me. And Cliff - talk about boring. This man makes me fall asleep. That's why at least with Angie... something is happening. Nina and Cliff together... are a complete snooze fest.

I may be in a minority, but I am not that attached to the character yet. I've only seen him in 2-3 more interesting scenes and the rest has been just... a handsome man walking around in a turtleneck making girls and gays swoon. That's all. I think some people around the internet want there to be drama where there isn't. I've left jobs, just because something doesn't align with my schedule... Sometimes it's just personal life stuff changing your priorities. There can be a million and one things that can lead to a re-cast. There is not a single sign that the show is "disposing" of him or treating him badly... like some people are speculating. I am not saying you can't speculate - there just isn't any proof of that. Give me proof and we'll talk. Also... I struggle to understand the emotional outbursts in facebook and some other places of social media. People are acting like it's Brooke Logan being re-cast on The Bold and The Beautiful after 40 years. LOL. I'm not opposed to them... (the reactions), just don't "get them". I also don't want this to follow like a shadow... the new actor who is going to play Ted. He doesn't deserve for people to continue harping on this issue for months. I hope not.

No... The last episode on VL is episode 3114. So there is no way 3166 on the vault is from there. I think they've stopped adding new ones on VL (If they upload new ones that will prove me wrong) and I also think they have stopped airing on RTL Lounge. It makes sense since Bold started their Season 13 with 3135 for free on YouTube. Pretty near that point where it seems that VL and RTL Lounge are stopping. So I'm close to believing that the Videoland era is coming to an end. Sadly. But of course we have the YouTube channel finishing the rest of the years... With their stupid misses and skips, yes... But it's still something. Bold is still airing earlier classic episodes on RTL 4. But these are the early classic seasons. I think this will mean that they will rotate the show from beginning couple of times and that they have bought the rights till about 3114.

This annoying freaking bird is singing her ass off just outside our bedroom window... At nearly 2 AM... Not making it possible for me to sleep. Bish better shut the hell up... Or I won't be able to function tomorrow.
