And let me do what I promised... and comment on the Trevor/Marissa fiasco that is happening right now. Just as she (Marissa) was about to achieve her goal in destroying Natalie and Jeremy's marriage... her accomplice Trevor... messed it all up. And he basically sexually assaulted her - extorted her into sleeping with him. No woman, even as wicked as Marissa is... deserves this, btw. She did not want to sleep with him, tried to escape this so many ways, but he managed to force her into it. In the end her even video-taped all of it... so he can continue to extort her. I'm starting to think that Marissa has no option left... other than to... kill Trevor off. We'll see. One thing I can give the show is that this storyline started incredibly messy, absurd and boring... but somehow they cleaned it up, made it edible and more realistic and thanks to the amazing... You're welcome! I adore Robin. Skye was one of the first characters that got me interested in the show. It was a bit odd and eccentric to see her obsess over her uncle's engagement and her dislike of Cindy... but I love pathological characters like this. Sometimes a girl doesn't need that much motivation to be wretched. I also liked the extremes she went to... in order to stop Cindy and Stuart's marriage. It felt like spiraling into the dark side. She connected herself with dangerous people and groups... bigots, haters... And she paid the price for it. They were normalizing her for a while now. For nearly half a year, she's been nothing more than a boring background player. Filler material. Especially since they re-wrote her and Travis's emerging romance into... nothingness (Thank God). But now... for the past 2-3 weeks I feel the reckless Skye of 1988 is awoken again. I would not be surprised if they deliberately made it seem that it's TOO OBVIOUS for her to be the kidnapper... and in the end... the most obvious answer ends up the right one. We'll find out very soon, I hope. With the pace this show goes with... I'm sure we'll know pretty soon. 💗

Yeees. It's soo wild. 🤣 It's the type of thing you type at 3 in the morning, drunk and crying... With classical music blaring and the neighbors calling the police to check up on you. And then you wake up next morning and you burn what you wrote. The problem is Megan woke up the next morning and continued typing.

It's like I'm reading my own thoughts. I am very disturbed by the current condition of the show. For some crazy reason it will forever remain my favorite soap opera. It's the show that defined my childhood. I learned to speak watching the dubbed version on the TV. So I'm still not ready to give up that everything is lost.

I second this opinion. I would love for more info and to understand what is going on. It's bizarre and a lot more bizarre than the normal level of bizarre.

This storyline was a spit in the face of Brooke. We saw her act like she will be taking charge of her life... be a CEO for like 2 seconds... and then she was GONE. And now... what are they going to do with her... Is she going to become Forresters's cleaning lady? At the level of humiliation this character has gone through... she will probably say Yes to that... if it means being close to Ridge. Ugh... KKL deserves so much better. Can she just... leave this show and come to BTG...!

Up to August 2nd of 1989. 🐍 WOW. What an improvement! I can honestly say the show is back in TOP FORM. Margaret DePriest... you are not the hack I thought you were. Main storyline - Dixie's child was kidnapped. Oh, poor Adam Jr! His first week out of the hospital and he is already in trouble. Now the problem is... absolutely everyone is a suspect. 1. Sky - she hates her new baby brother and was thrown out of the house just hours before the act. 2. Palmer - anything sinister or bad... you can blame Palmer and you won't be incorrect. 3. Karen - she vowed revenge on Adam after he disposed of her services (lol). My current top suspect is this little fox. 4. Sean - the guy wants money and was acting strange before the kidnapping. He gives me the creeps. 5. Adam HIMSELF - I could imagine Adam faking all of this in order to terrorize Dixie, get her declared unstable and take her child away. So MANY suspects... and it's probably none of them. We'll see. Another storyline I'm obsessed with - even though it is a bit wacky and eccentric - Erica's growing interest in Barney the creepy clown... who is enticing her, circling around her like a vulture. Who the hell is this? Don't tell me! I just hope Erica doesn't get hurt. She was in a plane crash just mere months ago. And bitten by a snake. Can my girl get a break in life? She was just beginning to enjoy life and making love to Jackson 5 times a day. Who wouldn't? 💗 Aaaaand last, but certainly not least... with the exception of the increasingly demonic hairstyle that Barbara has these days (making her appear like a Stephen King antagonist when she stands up with that Rosemary's baby-witchy hair silhouette), her storyline is getting increasingly dramatic. Parallel to her getting pregnant, Travis learned he has a brain tumor and will die if they don't operate. It is melodramatic, but GOOD melodramatic. Actually, my favorite storylines are always a little bit melodramatic. Like myself. And for scraps... I am EVEN getting fond of Cecily and Niko... somehow. I like how they are drawn to each-other romantically, but can't break the barrier of best-friends, brother-sister dynamic. If Cecily doesn't raise her voice or scream - they are cute. Oh, and I forgot the Marissa part... but I'll get to that in another post, because I have so much to say about it. Overall - 11/10! Favorite moment from the last few episodes - Skye's dramatic, drunken monologue at Adam Jr's Christening. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Just look at Palmer's face! He is so happy! At least we are not gonna be subjected to seeing a man sing with a guitar while Brooke giggles in cheesy lingerie in the background... 🤣
