OK. Silver faked getting raped so that she can capture Jeremy's attention!!! With this cliffhanger ending of the "April 8th, 1988" episode... I pressed the turn off button of the TV, because I knew I had it in me to lie to my boss that I'm sick and continue watching to oblivion. This show has managed to shock me, to make me laugh, cry and not able to stop watching. Beating a personal record of binge watching for sure. In just 3 weeks I've devoured 3 months worth of material. Not proud of myself, but not ashamed either. God bless the VCR and the people who recorded these shows. ❤️ That's how they continue to live on.

Oh my! Miss Snake's mask fell for a moment... when Erica's brother recognized her as this girl that had a crush on him in high school. Travis found out that she has some kind of connection to the family and Miss Snake panicked. Loved the moment when Erica glimpsed her back at the airport and said "Reminded me of someone from my past."

Then I must be still watching material written pre-Strike. Because Cindy, Brooke...etc... are still all here and front and center. That would explain why I glimpsed Lorraine Broderick's name at the end of an episode somewhere mid-March, as I recall. Thank you! Then I just hope to God the strike material doesn't ruin this incredible acceleration of drama. If I considered myself very interested with the show watching late January to late February (when everything started working for me), then right now... you can officially consider me a FAN. ❤️

Guys do we know who was writing the show while this 1988 Strike was going on. I'm in April and the material is amazing. Of course I'm still in the beginning of the Strike period, so there is time for my opinion to change. I am not even sure if these are not the episodes BEFORE the strike begins (I know that shows are written in advance... so I have no idea when the ACTUAL Strike stuff is beginning to air)... since the episodes I'm watching don't have ending credits recorded.

He really is hilariously stupid. And is Bradley trying to terrorize us with his horrible acting? Is he punking the guy with giving him so much high-drama material once again or wanting to get a Soap Razzie nomination? Biberty can't act anything other than stand naked and pretty and silent. LOL.

I was couple of years old when this was a hit... and I remember dancing my ass off... while still being a literal Baby. 😂

Oh, that makes me so happy.❤️ Skye's accomplices just started the fire in Cindy's house and Skye went in to save her. I'm on the edge of my seat. Just taking a break to make another cappuccino. I was expecting this Strike material to be worse than Jan-Feb... But no... Maybe because I finally got used to everyone and know everyone but March has been times and times more exciting. If the show continues at this level I'll be happy. Hearing from people that 1989 to 1992 is even better makes me even more optimistic. I'm already so satisfied. I love everything - Erica trying to juggle motherhood and ambitions, this snake that is trying to sink her teeth into Travis, Natalie... and Palmer wanting to get her back, Silver and her insecurities, Barbara plotting a revenge and Adam and Brooke's marriage in turmoil, the youngsters having their drama, Skye and her absolute horrific treatment of Cindy, Nina and her unclear baby's daddy and marriage in jeopardy. What more can a soap lover want? All of the stories work right now. 🌃🤩

Omg this woman that is trying to seduce Travis and is hiding from Erica... is... this-guy-that-Erica-had-relationship-while-he-was-married' s daughter.... from so many years ago!!! Omg... My jaw is on the floor right now. And she is obviously trying to ruin Erica while working in the shadows. This has become soooooo good I'm going to scream. Up to April 4th 1988. Aaaaaaaaaaaa

Back to watching. Nearing April 1988. I can't stand Nina. Like really can't stand her. Number 1 of insufferable characters. But that means she is working for me. I like characters that I can't stand for some strange reasons. Means she is doing something for me. I am more and more drawn to Silver. A character that I underestimated in the beginning. I like the dramatic position she is in. Her husband in love with another woman and she becoming more and more desperate to maintain the relationship. Classic soap stuff.

I'll take anyone other than him (Brad Bell).
