  1. I think this discussion is appropriate given the fact that it all starts from the GH fast scenes comments. I agree 100 percent that 10-15 format may bring a lot of new viewers. I myself would find more time to follow multiple shows if they are not so long.
  2. I think this cute little topic is the perfect place for a cute little question I have. Which soap do you guys think (from the cancelled ones) in it's entirety - from start to finish... managed MOST to preserve it's quality? That would mean - the least RUINED... when the time for final curtain came. I've heard of some shows being completely destroyed before going off... So, repeating the question with another nuance - Which show stood the test of time, change of head-writers, regimes and etc MOST... ? And why not answer the contrary question - Which one was THE MOST ruined, went through most destructive changes and in the end was just a shadow of it's former self?
  3. Beautiful song! I loved it. Great voice.
  4. I am not saying that anyone here wants the short scenes, quite the contrary. I'm just saying that it's going to be easier to stomach when the episode is small. Having to watch 40 minutes of it... is really irritating. That was my point. Cutting the duration to 10 or 15 max... will make it MORE bearable EVEN in worst case scenario of this trend of tik-tok pace continues.
  5. I backup everything now as soon as I glimpse it on youtube. It jumps straight to my downloads. I don't risk every a minute. I've seen entire decades of soaps get removed just like that. So sad that the report function can be so abused by psychopaths who just want to ruin our fun. Or scammers that prefer people to buy than watch the episodes online.
  6. Lots of new episodes are being uploaded on youtube, guys. Type in Another World in the search engine and in the settings pick the SORT by Last Upload Date option. That way you'll see everything new. And if you want to save them, download everything, because youtube is unreliable. One day the episodes are there, the next - Poof, they are gone.
  7. Lyrics: Ooh hey, yeah Hush, just stop There's nothing you can do or say, baby I've had enough I'm not your property as from today, baby You might think that I won't make it on my own But now I'm Stronger than yesterday Now it's nothing but my way
  8. After nearly a 7 hour marathon last night... I'm approaching March 1988. It's only getting better. Erica's neurosis will lead to her demise. This woman is the most addictive type of MESS I've seen in my life.
  9. I agree! They are the exact opposite. And of course... it's one thing IF we ever have 10 minutes of fast scenes... COMPARED TO nearly 40 minutes of non-stop tik tok-fast-pacedness that makes you feel like you're spinning. At some point it becomes irritating and infantile. These people should remember that this is a soap opera and not a Darren Aronofsky movie-montage. And the background music does not help. Every time I try to watch GH, I'm disturbed by the music. Just a personal pet peeve.
  10. Me, 10 minutes after I wake up. @Contessa Donatella

  12. Thank you for the transcript.
  13. Ricky is sooo fine!
  14. Thank you! Then I think it's settled. I am considering the Caroline thing... just a myth or people called the show that as a nickname.
  15. Talent that so little people have.
  16. Next thing we know they'll start turning the shows into 10-20 second max shots... and in the end... it will be like watching a bad reality show. I hate this new trend of not giving moments build up and air to breathe. Absolutely hate it. It cheapens the entire genre.
  17. Germany: Protesters decry CDU/CSU over AfD collaboration https://www.dw.com/en/germany-protesters-decry-cdu-csu-over-afd-collaboration/a-71483400 Since the end of World War II, all of the country's established parties have refrained from working with extremist parties as a result of the lessons learned after the National Socialists (Nazis) used democratic means to ascend to power. The Nazis had established a totalitarian system of government that cast the world into chaos and destroyed the country. In modern Germany, politicians from any other part of the political spectrum were expected to refuse any collaboration with far-right parties, under what the Germans call the "firewall." Merz's willingness to ignore this consensus has led to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz of the center-left Social Democratic Party (SPD) saying that the "firewall" has fallen.
