Well at least this time people are not asking others if they are "on drugs" because of their reactions. But yeah, I think I was the first one who said that this is the best week of any new show I've seen... and that was even before Friday. And I stand by my words.

June 1 and June 2 1989 What a creepy wedding Adam and Dixie just had. Jesus Christ. I had to watch something to cure myself from the madness of Trump. So I am back on my AMC 🍸. This time watching in bed on my phone. So... The wedding from hell started with a huge thunderstorm. And ended with Skye getting hit by lightning in a very campy scene. Dixie said Yes to the Devil with white hair. A great moment followed when it was revealed that Queen Brooke is suing Adam for fifty percent of everything he has. Yaaaaaas. Give me that coin. The other storylines - Marissa woke up and Jeremy and Natalie are pretty much Done. Marissa won. For now. Erica has decided she has to split Barbara and Travis. I am getting a bit irritated by my girl Kane. She is acting so messy. In a way I like that because it's fun... But I also want her to grow some dignity and move on. At this point I don't even think she loves Travis. She just wants him because she doesn't want Barbara to have him. It's like a freaking sport to her. God Almighty, help these people in Pine Valley!

I think next to the Daphne Rose even Biberty is great.

That's where I am at. It was bullying 101. The -why are you not wearing a suit- comment was like from a high school mean boys scene... like a bunch of evil kids tormenting another kid about his clothes. And then... Vance started all of it... he raised his voice... which signaled to Trump that the tirade should begin. I've never in my entire lifetime seen something like this. It felt wrong, it felt irresponsible - there are so many people that are going to be affected by this tonight. You can't even imagine. I am really horrified and don't know how I'll sleep tonight. I have to be honest. I am not drinking anymore, I've been sober for months... but right now I feel like I want to go out and buy a bottle. I won't, don't worry. But that's how distressed I feel. How cynical, how brutal, how inhumane. My husband is a very strong Ukraine supporter and has many Ukrainian friends. And right now... he is in another Universe too. I've never seen him like that.

What I like most about the style of writing is... how real it is. The dialogue is alive and none of it seems stiff or too-contrived. There are no extreme levels of camp - just... light over the top moments that make you smile and laugh. None of it screams plotty or doing-it-only-for-the-ratings. They could have started with some bizarre plot that could make viewers interested... for like 10 episodes... but No, MVJ is smarter than that and what she is doing is - creating a world that once we get in... we won't be able to come out. In a good way. Characterization - what I see in the show are normal human beings and not caricatures. Listen, watch and learn, Bradley Bell! Human beings with dimensions and dept. For example - Dani can be perceived by some people to be the suffering ex-wife, while others will see a vain narcissist whose pretend "Stepford" world just collapsed. Someone can see Hayley as a conniving opportunist, while someone else may also see her as an outsider - someone who doesn't belong in the Dupree's orbit. There is not a single person that is just 1 thing or just bad or good. And I love that. It takes imagination, skill, talent, dedication, work and time to be able to write something so rich and so meaningful. And also - addicting. I feel like my day isn't complete if I don't watch the show now. ❤️ BRAVA! 45 more minutes and I'm waiting!
