ANOTHER WORLD 228 The Love/Hudsons celebrate a new birth
ANOTHER WORLD 228 The Love/Hudsons celebrate a new birth Written by:  C. Nathaniel Richardson Consultants:  Alex Beeby, ML Cooks, Nick Monarco, DRW50   AT THE HOSPITAL John and Brianna go into the staff locker room. John:  You’re a real pro in there. Brianna:  I’ve delivered babies before.  It’s always a joy to see the families happy.  The mother having a baby; the father right there with her.  Must be nice. John:  I wasn’t there when Gregory was born.  Sharlene gave birth to our son in a shed. Brianna:  Wow.   John:  Taylor Benson delivered him actually after she...never mind. Brianna:  No tell me.  What did Taylor Benson do?   John:  I...don’t really wanna get into that. Brianna:  Oh um.  Ok.   Brianna starts feeling around in her pockets. John:  Looks like you lost something. Brianna:  Yeah I...can’t find my badge.  Maybe I dropped it somewhere. John:  Well go to a computer and log in.  If someone tries to use it, it will tell you where it was scanned.  Hopefully someone will return it. ------------------------------------------------------------ Tyrone wheels Marley in a wheelchair to the nursery.  They look through the glass at their baby in a bassinet labeled “Roman Montgomery” on the outside.  Donna, Michael and Vicky join them. Marley:  Look at him Tyrone.  He’s so tiny.  So innocent. Tyrone:  Our son. Donna looks at Michael. Donna:  And our grandson. Marley:  Have you called your mother? Tyrone:  She and Etta Mae are on their way. Marley:  He’s a miracle.  I thought I was never gonna be able to have children.  I’m gonna shower all the love I have on him. Tyrone:  He looks like a sports enthusiast. Marley:  We will love our son whatever he wants to be. Michael:  He’s got a large family behind him. Donna:  Where’s everyone else?  Where are the twins?  Where’s  Kirkland and Victoria?  I’m gonna go see where they are. ------------------------------------- Bridget and Michele are in the waiting area...quiet.  Each girl has her arms folded.  Bridget is sitting in a chair while Michele is sitting on the right arm of the couch closest to the glass door.  Michele looks at Bridget, rolls her eyes and gets up. Michele:  I’m gonna go see how Aunt Marley’s doing. Bridget:  No you’re not.  You’re gonna look for something to cut yourself with and blame it on me. Michele:  You can’t stop being a bitch for two seconds can you? Bridget:  Maybe after what you did tonight everyone will see that I was right about you.  You need help. Michele turns around and walks slowly toward Bridget.  Bridget gets up as if to prepare for another fight. Michele:  If you want a replay of what happened at the Corys I’m game, because I should have done it a long time ago.  I’ll be more than happy to beat the bitchiness out of you. Bridget:  You think some fisticuffs is gonna change anything?  I still have Cory, and dad and grandpa think you’re crazy, too. Michele:  Really?  After everything you’ve done, mom still supports me.  I’ve always been mom’s favorite daughter.  You’ve always been the black sheep; the outsider; the screw-up. Bridget:  Shut your mouth! Michele:  Deep down, dad knows it, too.  Mom knows what you’ve done, and sees you for the conniving little skank that you are, and that you’ll always be. Bridget:  You crazy bitch! Before they can start another physical fight, Kirkland races in and manages to get between them. Kirkland:  No!  Not here!  You two can’t stay in a room alone without wanting to kill each other? Michele:  Your bitch sister provoked me again! Kirkland:  Bridget why don’t you go the nursery and see our little cousin. Bridget:  But… Kirkland:  Go! Bridget looks at the both of them and walks out in disgust. Kirkland:  When are you two gonna stop? Michele:  It’s all her fault!  Wait til mom hears about what Bridget said. Kirkland:  You’re not gonna tell mom anything about this. Michele:  What do you mean? Kirkland:  Both of you need counseling.  You gotta let this go. You gotta stop being so angry. ------------------------------------------------------- Vicky walks up to Steven. Vicky:  How’s Rachel? Steven:  I left a message on her voicemail. Vicky:  I know the rest of her family’s there.  Did you call your dad? Steven:  Not yet.  It’s still pretty late there. Vicky:  Listen I’m...I’m sorry about the way I’ve behaved… Steven:  But? Vicky:  But what? Steven:  You still don’t approve of Joy being in my life. Vicky:  No I can’t. Steven:  That’s too bad isn’t it? Vicky:  That girl is a homewrecker!  I cannot just sit here and watch this happen.  She is going to destroy you. Steven:  She was only eighteen years old when she had the affair with Tyrone.  You are still holding her past against her.  What if somebody held your past against you?  What she did before doesn’t stop me from… Steven stops as he, and Vicky, realize something. Vicky:  Oh my God.  You’ve fallen for her haven’t you?  You’re in love with her. Steven gets a text.  He looks on his phone.  The text is from Joy. Joy(text):  I’m home.   Steven (return text):  Good.  Thank you for being with me tonight.  I love you. ----------------------------------- MEANWHILE, Joy walks around the corner on the same floor.  She looks around to see if anyone sees her, and slips into a room.  She then gets a text from Steven.  She looks at her phone a bit jolted.  Steven’s declaration has taken her aback.  She takes a deep breath and texts back. Joy:  I love you, too. Joy looks around and sees scrubs.  Joy is not home.  She is in a hospital supply closet as she has a flashback: (EPISODE 174) Reginald:  Joy Joy Joy. Joy:  Did you do it? Reginald:  The antidote?    Joy:  Thomasina said she’s feeling better. Reginald:  Yes I called and they gave her the antidote. Joy:  Then we’re even. Reginald:  No we’re not.  I can get to her whenever I want. Joy:  So what does that mean?  What else do you want me to do? Reginald:  I don’t have to tell you.  I want to raise the next patriarch of my family, and you’re going to get him. Joy:  Where the hell am I supposed to get...no.  You can’t make me do that. Reginald:  You don’t want Thomasina to get sick again do you?  Get me my great grandson. Joy flashes back to the present and she notices Brianna’s hospital badge on the floor, and she picks it up. Joy:  I’m so sorry Steven but I have to do this. CAMERA PAN ON JOY...SLOW FADE TO THEME SONG.   ---------------------------------------------------- PART 2 MARLEY’S ROOM Marley lies in the bed.  Michael is sitting at her bedside. Marley:  I don’t think I can get any happier than I am now. Michael:  You’re very lucky. Marley:  I am...very lucky.  Lucky to have a husband who loves me; lucky to still have my parents; Vicky, Allen, all of you. Michael:  Your grandfather didn’t allow us to have this type of moment when you and Victoria were born. Marley:  Don’t bring him up.  Happy thoughts.  Happy memories. Michael:  Of course.  The birth of your child is something you’re always gonna remember. Marley:  And that you came back.  We all thought you were dead, but you fought your way back to us.  I’m so glad you’re here dad. Michael clenches Marley’s right hand. Michael:  There’s nowhere else I’d rather be. ---------------------------------------------- OUTSIDE MARLEY’S ROOM Allen is talking to Tyrone. Allen:  Look at you man. Tyrone:  Yeah.  I got a son.  My boy Roman.  I mean this is just the icing on the cake.  All this time we thought Marley couldn’t get pregnant.  Just miraculous. Allen:  I know.  I’m just...glad I can be here to share this with you bro. Tyrone:  Thank you.   Allen:  For what? Tyrone:  You helped me to realize that my anger was misplaced.  Our father is the one I was really mad at.   Allen:  You can’t be too mad.  He raised you.  What was he like? Tyrone:  Typical dad I guess.  Be a man.  Don’t show any emotions.   Allen:  I didn’t get to spend hardly any time with him.  You did.  That’s why I’m so insistent on being in KC’s life.  Our dad wasn’t there for me. Tyrone:  I ain’t sending my boy off to no boarding school.  I’m gonna be there for him.  I’m taking him to all his games; to all his practices.  Whatever he wants to do.  I’m gonna support him.  I will never give up on my son. Allen:  I know, cuz I ain’t gonna let you.  He’s my nephew you know? Tyrone:  You know what’s so great about this, too? Allen:  What’s that? Tyrone:  I got my brother with me. Allen:  I got you. They hug and Donna and KC walk up to them. KC:  Look at this.  My dad and my uncle Tyrone….bonding. Donna:  I called my sister.  She told me the good news. Allen:  I’ve had a good night. Donna:  I can’t find Victoria or the girls.  Have you seen them? Tyrone:  No.  I heard about what happened between Michele and Bridget.   Donna:  Let’s hope that doesn’t happen again. ----------------------------------------------- Michele:  So what’s the matter?  You think I’m crazy, too? Kirkland:  Getting help doesn’t mean you’re ill.  It means you need to get rid of this anger you’ve got. Michele:  I’m sure you’ve heard what she did. Kirkland:  I know what happened.  She was devastated, hurt, and could hardly forgive herself when we thought you were dead.  She felt really down about losing you. Michele:  She’s got me, and the only she can act toward me is bitchy. Kirkland:  You both are doing it to each other.  Serve and volley.   Michele:  You’re comparing us to tennis. Kirkland:  Come on.  I can’t stand to see my little sisters fighting all the time.  Can you at least consider it? Michele:  Getting help?  I don’t need any help.  She’s the one who needs it.  Mom’s on my side. ------------------------------------------------- Vicky:  Who was that?  Joy? Steven:  I told her to text me when she got home. Vicky:  I’m gonna see about Marley. Steven:  Mom.   Vicky:  What is it? Steven:  I love you. Vicky smiles as her eyes well up. Vicky:  I love you, too my firstborn child.   Steven:  Let’s go see about Aunt Marley. Vicky:  Good idea. --------------------------------------------- The Love/Hudsons surround Marley who is lying in her bed. Marley:  Would you look at this?  It means so much to have all of you here. Vicky:  We got a little one to look after now. Donna:  He’s gonna have a hell of a time being a part of this family. ---------------------------------------------- MEANWHILE, Bridget stands at the glass of the nursery, and watches her cousin Roman in his bassinet.   Bridget:  Are you sure you wanna be part of this family Roman?  Your cousin Michele is crazy. As Bridget walks away, Joy, dressed in blue hospital scrubs, with a mask over her nose and mouth, scans Brianna’s stolen badge into the nursery, walks over to and stands over Roman Montgomery’s bassinet. Marley (V.O.):  Roman’s gonna love all of you.  Let’s go see him. FREEZE FRAME ON JOY...SLOW FADE OUT...END OF 228

    ANOTHER WORLD 185

Grant puts his dastardly plans into motion

    Written by: C. Nathaniel Richardson

    Consultants: ML Cooks, A. Washington-Beeby, DRW50

Special Appearance by Maura West as Carly Snyder
STACEY’S APARTMENT...Stacey is in the living room with Cass and Frankie.
Stacey: You two must be so happy. I’ll be feeling the same way when Lindsay ties the knot.
Frankie: You will, and we’ll be right here helping you just as you helped us.
Cass: And you gotta make sure she marries the right guy.
Frankie: Cass, your niece is strong and smart. I’m sure she’ll make the right decision where that’s concerned.
Stacey: I want the best for Lindsay.
    Cass: Of course you do.
Stacey: I want her to be happy...happier than I am.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AT THE HUDSONS...Gregory comes downstairs while Lindsay gets up from the couch and faces Gregory.
    Lindsay: How’s your mom?
    Gregory: She’s out cold.
Lindsay: Bet she’s gonna have a killer headache in the morning.
Gregory: She had a lot to drink. I’ve never seen mom go off like that.
Lindsay: A lot of people seemed surprised.
    Gregory: I guess she’s just...tired of...everything.
    Lindsay: How do you mean?
Gregory: That whole thing with dad and Felicia.
Gregory puts his arms around Lindsay’s waist as Lindsay looks up at her boyfriend.
Lindsay: It’s taken a toll on all of you.
Gregory: I can’t help but think that I had a part in it, too.
Lindsay: You wanting to protect your mother?
Gregory: You think I went too far?
Lindsay: I...do think you overreacted a bit. You didn’t have any solid proof that John and Felicia were having an affair.
Gregory: I just don’t wanna lose my mom again. I don’t wanna see her sad anymore, like she was the first time dad cheated on her.
Lindsay: Guess we...both have that in common. We both worry about our moms.
    Gregory: Is Stacey okay?
Lindsay: She puts on a brave front. She stays busy with work and then we were in Charlie’s wedding, but deep down, I see a sadness in her, too. Ever since she broke up with Derek.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cass: Stace you’ll find it. Just as Frankie and I have.
    Stacey: From your lips.
Frankie: That’s right. Cass and I are not gonna let anything come between us this time.
    Cass: Not even Christy Carson.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GRANT’S HOUSE...Grant undoes his bowtie and when Christy walks in, he turns his attentions to her.
Grant: What the hell do you think were doing? Showing up at my son’s wedding reception!
Christy: Relax Grant! You’re not half as concerned about Kirkland as you are about yourself.
Grant: What are you talking about? Of course I’m concerned about my son’s happiness.
Christy: Oh please. I wasn’t going to tell everyone that you were the one who got me out of prison. I saw you sweating bullets when you saw me and my son.
Grant: You never mentioned that you had a son.
    Christy: You never asked.
Grant: With James Stenbeck no less.
Christy: Wasn’t it you who said this was a business arrangement?
Grant: Some things you should disclose to the people you’re working with.
Christy: I owed you no explanation about Eric. The only thing I need to tell you is that the recipient of your delivery should be seeing its contents as we speak.
    Grant smiles.
Grant: Good work, and let the destruction of Jack Snyder begin.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IN FRONT OF PAULINA’S HOUSE...Jack and Paulina walk arm in arm toward the door and stop. Paulina is holding the bouquet in her other hand.
Paulina: What a reception that was. Never a dull moment.
Jack: I still can’t believe that James Stenbeck had a fourth son.
Paulina: I think you mentioned that to me once.
Jack: Let’s see he’s got David Stenbeck, Paul Ryan, Henry Coleman, and now Eric.
Paulina: From what I’ve heard he was really evil. Were any of his sons like him?
    Jack: Only David, so far.
Paulina (sighing): Why don’t we talk about something positive?
    Jack (smiling): Like what?
Paulina: The great time we had tonight. I’m glad you took me to the wedding.
Jack: And to think you were hesitant when I asked you to go with me.
Meanwhile, a mystery person watches them from a real short distance.
Paulina (smiling): I’m sure you understand my apprehension.
Jack: You just need to relax a bit.
They face each other, give each other a look, and as they lean in to kiss, Carly Snyder, the mystery person, stops them by appearing and gets their attention, and she walks directly up to them.
Carly: Wow Jack! The ink isn’t even dry on the separation papers yet, and you’ve moved on?
Jack: What are you doing here Carly?
Carly: I knew something was happening between you two, and this confirmed it.
Carly shows Jack a picture of him and Paulina in the Center when Paulina put her right hand on Jack’s left hand on the table (taken by Eric), and Jack and Paulina are shocked.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    PART 2
Christy: Wow you really hate him don’t you?
Grant: I don’t hate anyone Christy.
Christy: What did Jack Snyder ever do to you?
Grant: He’s got what I want. He’s got who I want.
Christy: Paulina Carlino. From what I’ve heard about her I don’t see the appeal.
Grant: She’s a lovely, sweet, good person.
Christy: She came to Bay City to get her cut of Mac Cory’s money, and she shot Jake McKinnon. What makes her so wholesome all of a sudden. Nobody’s using those adjectives about me.
Grant: You poisoned your husband to death. You shouldn’t expect people to welcome you with open arms,
Christy: And by people, you mean Cass and Mary Frances.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cass: Come on sis don’t talk like that. You’ll find happiness, too.
Frankie: Look at what you have. You have your brother, you have me, you have a wonderful daughter, and Charlie.
Stacey: You guys are so sweet, and it’s true. I have all of that, but what I don’t have; what I’m devoid of, is the man that I love.
Cass: Stacey, honey, you’ve gotta try to move on. The wedding probably brought up all these emotions for you, but he’s not available.
Frankie: Who are you guys talking about?
Stacey: I might as well tell you. I’m still in love with Lindsay’s father.
Frankie: Jake? My God. He’s very married.
Stacey: You don’t have to tell me twice, and I’m very well aware of that, but the heart wants what it wants. That’s what I mean about Lindsay. I don’t want her to make the same mistakes I did. I want her to live a happy, prosperous life.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gregory: Our parents think that they’re the only ones who worry.
Lindsay: I thought my mom and Derek would be together forever.
Gregory: I thought the same about my parents. I don’t know what’s gonna happen to them.
Lindsay: One of the things I love about you.
    Gregory: Ohh what’s that?
Lindsay: That you’re crazy. You followed your dad when he went to see Felicia?
Gregory: I’m not proud of that.
    Lindsay: I’m kidding.
Gregory: Oh...the comedienne has delivered one of her jokes.
    Lindsay: Hmmmm.
They kiss and then Lindsay starts wincing.
    Gregory: What’s wrong?
Lindsay: I think I got an upset stomach. It won’t settle down.
Gregory: Something you ate at the reception?
Lindsay: I dunno. Might be just gas.
Gregory: I think we got some antacid. I'll get it for you.
Lindsay sits down on the couch as Gregory goes to the kitchen.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Grant: You didn’t know anybody else in Bay City when you were here before did you?
Christy: No I didn’t. I thought they were my friends.
Grant: Are you really gonna play the victim here? You were obsessed with Cass back then, and you still are.
Christy: Well Mary Frances forgave me.
Grant: Come on I know you’re smarter than that. Do you really think Frankie just forgot everything you’ve done; that you carefully planned to get her out of the way so you can have a clear path to Cass?
    Christy: I didn’t want that.
Grant: Sure you did Christy. You were fixated on Mr. Winthrop over twenty years ago, but what gives now? You got released from that mental health facility. You and your son could have left and started over in another place, but you decided to stay in Bay City. What are you up to?
Christy says nothing, but she looks at Grant in a way that answers his question.
Grant: My God. You’re trying to get revenge. How do you plan on doing that?
Christy: My plans for Cass are none of your concern. You need to worry about Paulina, and your fixation on her.
Grant: For the record, I am not obsessed with anyone.
Christy: Right. You're too self absorbed for that.
Grant: Jack is the one that needs to worry. Thanks to you, I’ve begun the process...of bringing him down.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jack: This picture doesn’t prove anything.
    Paulina: Who took this?
Carly: Does that matter? You two have been sneaking around.
Paulina: Jack had just gotten the separation papers from you when this picture was taken. He was devastated! Jack and I are friends.
Carly: From the looks of things it seems like it’s going to be a lot more.
    Jack: You’re jumping to conclusions.
Paulina: There’s nothing going on between me and Jack. I’m sure Jack has told you that a hundred times.
Carly: Are you proud of yourself Paulina? Frolicking around Bay City with someone else’s husband!
Paulina: Jack is a decent man, and you take him for granted!
    Carly: He is still married!
    Paulina: You wanted a separation!
Carly: You need to butt the hell out!
Jack: Ladies! This isn’t getting us anywhere. Paulina let me talk to Carly alone please.
Carly: Oh no need for that. I had to see for myself how close you two have gotten, and I’ve seen enough. When I get back to Oakdale, I’m gonna call Jessica Griffin and file for divorce. This marriage is over! Happy homewrecking Paulina. You can marry Jack since it looks like you caught the bouquet.
    Paulina: Bitch!
Carly walks off. Jack calls for her and begins to go after her, but Paulina stops him.
    Paulina: Jack wait. Don’t go.
Jack: I gotta talk to her.
Paulina: She’s made up her mind. Don’t chase after someone who doesn’t want to be with you. Stay with someone who does. I love you Jack.
Paulina pulls Jack into a passionate kiss.

    GENERAL HOSPITAL

    By C. Nathaniel Richardson

    GENERAL HOSPITAL FANFIC PILOT 1

    Part 1

    GENERAL HOSPITAL

Michael walks up to a door that says “Dr. Monica Quartermaine, Chief of Staff.”, knocks on the door, and sees Monica.

    Michael: Grandmother.

Monica: Michael! Hi honey. How are you?

Michael: I’m good. I came to give you the good news.

    Monica: Oh…I already heard!

    Michael: So…you know?

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    PRISON

The guards escort Ava Jerome to the visitors’ area, where Kiki is waiting on the other side of the glass. They simultaneously pick up the phones.

Ava: Kiki I thought I told you I didn’t want you to see me like this.

Kiki: Sorry mom. I had to come see you.

Ava: I already know that I’m a horrible mother. You didn’t have to come all the way to the penitentiary to tell me.

Kiki holds up her left hand, and Ava is shocked.

Ava: Oh my God. He asked you.

Kiki: Michael and I are getting married.

Ava: Wow that’s…that’s wonderful. Congratulations. When’s the wedding?

    Kiki: This week.

Monica: Congratulations! I will be more than happy to help with any planning.

Michael: That would be great, if you’re up to a fight with my mom.

    METROCOURT HOTEL - BALLROOM

Carly: You put that over there by the table. And I want the threshold overrrrr here.

Carly continues to dole out orders and Franco walks in.

Carly: Hey you. I’m real busy.

Franco: I can see that, but can I borrow my lovely girlfriend for a minute?

    Carly: Franco I’d love to but I just can’t. I gotta…

Franco silences her with a kiss and Carly smiles, but she’s focused…

Carly: I really needed that, but I gotta finish planning Michael and Kiki’s engagement party. I don’t want anything going wrong.

    Franco: It won’t.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

MEANWHILE, Carlos Rivera is in the back alley of the Metro Court, and it’s dimly lit. He looks around, and starts walking. Suddenly, Shawn appears in front of him, and pointing a flashlight, and a shiny silver Smith and Wesson, at Carlos.

Shawn: What the hell are you doing here?

    QUICK CUT TO…

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ava: Well I’m...happy for you honey.

Kiki: Well you don’t seem like it.

Ava: Because I’m here. I would rather be supporting you.

Kiki: I don’t think the Quartermaines would want you around after what you’ve done.

Ava: There’s nothing that would keep me from supporting you.

Kiki: I know mom. I...wish you could be there, too.

Ava: I’m so grateful that you’ve stood by me, despite everything that I’ve done.

Kiki: You’re always gonna be my mother.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Carlos: I had to go to the bathroom.

    Shawn: You’re a terrible liar.

Carlos: Looks nice in the ballroom. Looks like Sonny’s son and Ava’s daughter are gonna have a nice engagement party.

Shawn: Julian sent you didn’t he?

Carlos: I don’t work for him.

    Shawn: Yeah right.

Carlos: I took the rap for Sonny because Ava threatened my Sabrina. It’s her fault Sabrina left!

Shawn: I don’t give a damn about your vendettas.

Carlos: Well I can’t get to Ava and Sonny. They’re locked up.

Shawn: So you’re going after their kids? I can’t allow that.

    Suddenly, someone knocks out Carlos.

Shawn: Jason? Thought you were done.

Jason: Old habits die hard. Let’s get him outta here. I’m not gonna let him hurt Michael.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Monica: Your mother IS something else. Guess I better lay off.

Michael: Thank you grandmother. I appreciate it.

    Monica smiles.

Monica: I’m so happy. For you. For all of us. For our family. I’ve got all of you back again. I’ve lost Alan, Emily, Edward, A.J., but Jason’s back, and I’ve got you.

    Michael: Don’t forget Aunt Tracy.

    Monica: I couldn’t if I wanted to.

Michael: I gotta get back to the office. Jason and I are working on a project.

Monica: Okay. You have a good evening.

After Michael leaves…Monica walks to her desk, sits back down, and looks at a picture.

Monica: Alan, oh how I wish you were here. Everything is better than I ever could have dreamed. Michael and I have gotten close, and Jason’s back...with us.

Then she sighs and pulls up something on her computer.

Monica: There’s just one more thing that will make everything complete.

Monica looks at a DNA test showing that Jason is Michael’s biological father.

    (EPISODE 212)
    Lindsay:  I’m Lindsay.
Devin Lucas:  Good to meet you.
Devin Lucas extends his right hand, and Lindsay extends her right hand through the handles of the shopping bag, and they shake.
Devin Lucas:  You must be shopping for my dad’s party tomorrow night.
Devin Lucas smiles, then has another flashback…(EPISODE 208)
Devin Lucas:  I hate this.  You don’t have much time left dad.
Carl:  I had to make things right for you.  I can’t leave this earth knowing that you’re not safe.
Lorna:  But you are now.  We all are.
Devin Lucas:  Did you tell Cory and Elizabeth?
Carl:  All of the children know.
Lorna:  You’re having a party in a couple of days.
Carl:  Announcing it to everyone else.
Devin Lucas:  I wish there was...something I could do to give us more time together.
Carl:  Son, just be strong.  You’ll have plenty of support.
Lorna:  You’ll have your brother and sisters; Mitch, your grandmother, and me.
Devin’s smile quickly fades as he flashes back to the present as Lorna, dressed in a fucha glittered dress and heels.
    Lorna:  Are you ready?
Devin Lucas:  To hear dad tell everyone he’s dying?  I dunno if I wanna hear it again.

    STACEY’S APARTMENT
Lindsay is applying some makeup in front of a mirror when she has a flashback.
Lindsay flashes back to the present and takes a deep breath.  She grabs her purse, opens the front door and there’s Gregory.  They look at each other and give each other a hug.
    Lindsay:  Gregory I’m so sorry.
Gregory:  No.  Not it’s me.  I shouldn’t have been so pushy.  You weren’t ready to talk…
Lindsay:   I was a complete ass.
Gregory:  Let’s forget about that, and go to this party.
Gregory extends his arm and Lindsay locks hers with his.

    CORY MANSION
Donna and Michael are standing near the double glass doors that lead to the gazebo.  Michael is looking around.
Donna:  What are you looking for?
Michael:  Looking for our family members.
Donna:  Are you sure you’re not looking for Stacey?
Michael:  Oh Donna we’re not gonna do this here are we?
Donna:  I caught you calling her on your cell phone before we left.
Michael:  This party is for Carl and Rachel.  Can we be civil for their sake?  Look there’s Bridget.
Bridget walks up to her grandparents.
    Donna:  Hi.
    Michael:  Hey sweetheart.
Michael pecks Bridget on her right cheek.
Donna:  Have you seen your mother?  Your sister?
Bridget:  No.  I’m gonna go outside for a minute.
    Donna:  Okay dear.
    --------------------------------------------------------
    GAZEBO
Bridget walks out and sits on the bench.  Michele quickly comes out and steps in front of Bridget.
    Michele:  You conniving little skank!
Bridget:  What?  You’re wearing the same dress!
Michele:  It looks better on me doesn’t it?
Bridget:  I have no idea what you’re talking about.
Michele:  You posted it on FacePage you bitch! You said that I hope I don't cut myself if I see you and your BF out together. Something like that.
Bridget:  That’s because you’re not the saint that everybody thinks you are!
Michele:  I knew it.  You’re jealous, and you always have been.
Bridget:  Ever since you came back, you’ve been plotting against me haven’t you?  Did you really think I was gonna sit by and let you get the best of me?
    -----------------------------------------------------
    CORY’S BEDROOM
The door is open.  Cory sits on the bed and stares up at the ceiling, and Elizabeth comes in and sits next to him.
Elizabeth:  Thinking about dad aren’t you?
Cory:  Yeah of course I am.  We just got him back you know.
    Elizabeth:  It definitely isn’t fair.
    Cory:  Not at all.
Elizabeth:  I haven’t seen mom and dad all night.
Cory:  I’m sure they’re still in their room.
    ---------------------------------------------------------
    CARL AND RACHEL’S ROOM
Carl walks out of the bathroom and sees his wife Rachel, who is wearing a pinkish white dress.  Carl is wearing a matching tuxedo.  They hug each other, then Rachel rests her arms on Carl’s shoulders.
Rachel:  It’s like I have to hear the news again.  You have a brain tumor.
Carl:  My beautiful, darling wife.  We’re all going to be fine.  We’re strong, we’re resilient.  You’ll see downstairs.  All the support we have.  Let’s go darling.

    PART 2
Michele:  Is that why you slept with Cory?
Bridget:  I slept with Cory because I love him.
Michele:  You don’t love anyone but yourself.  You did that to get back at me.
Bridget:  Eww I wasn’t even thinking about you during…
Michele:  That’s the whole reason you did it.  When Cory finds out…
Bridget:  What are you gonna do?  You’re gonna take him away, too?  Why can’t I have something?  You have everything!
Michele:  I’ve got nothing because of you and everything you did.
Bridget:  What makes you so damned special?  Mom and dad gushing over your grades.  You had Cory.  I have to scratch and claw to get mom to notice me; to get her to love me!
    Michele:  Looks who’s crazy.
Bridget:  Mom humiliated me at your memorial service.  Do you know how much that hurt?
Michele:  And I did that to you?
Bridget:  Yes you did!  You did this.
Michele:  If you hadn’t tried to spike Cory’s drink at the prom; if you hadn’t kept my acceptance letter from me then maybe mom would give you the benefit of the doubt!  But you keep pulling stunts.  That’s why they’re divorcing!
Bridget:  What?  Mom and dad are getting a divorce?
Michele:  That’s right, because of you!  This whole family has fallen apart because of you.
    Bridget:  No.
Michele:  I have brain damage.  I couldn’t read, I lost Cory...because of you!  And I’m gonna make sure you get everything you deserve.
    Bridget:  Yes you’ve lost Cory.
Michele:  We were supposed to be together.
Bridget:  But it didn’t happen that way did it?  I had him, and you didn’t.  Doesn’t that make you...mad...crazy?
    Michele:  You bitch!
Michele grabs Bridget’s hair and pulls her to the ground.  Bridget manages to pull Michele to the ground.  The two are wrestling, and rolling.  Michele manages to get on top of Bridget and punches her in her face.  Bridget then scratches Michele, and they roll over again.  Bridget is on top of Michele, and starts slapping her.  Michele grabs Bridget’s hair again, and pulls her to the ground again.  Michele grabs Bridget’s head, but before she can bang her head on the ground, Jake grabs her, effectively stopping the fight.  Donna, Michael and Vicky walk out, and the other guests look on.  Jake has subdued Michele and Michael has grabbed Bridget.  Bridget and Michele are both bloodied and kicking.
Jake:  Stop this you two!  What the hell is going on here?
Michele:  I’m gonna get you bitch!
    Bridget:  Come and get me!
    Donna:  Oh my God.
Vicky:  Michele are you okay?  What did you do to her Bridget?
Bridget:  Of course you take her side.  She started all of this!
    Michele:  You started it!
Michael:  Let’s get em outta here.
Jake and Michael escort Bridget and Michele out of the gazebo in opposite directions.
    ----------------------------------------------
    CORY MANSION LIVING ROOM
Dr. Russ Matthews walks in and looks around.  Sharlene is with John and she notices him.
    Sharlene:  Is that Russ Matthews?
John:  Yeah he just got a job at the hospital.
    Sharlene:  Oh.
    ----------------------------------------------------
    FOYER
    Steven and Joy walk in.
    Steven:  Take your jacket?
    Joy:  Thank you.
Steven goes to the closet, and Joy quickly takes out her phone, and pulls up the camera view of Tyrone and Marley’s living room.  She has a flashback.
    (EPISODE 174)
Back at the Monticello Police Station Interrogation Room, Reginald gives instructions to Joy...
Reginald: You don’t want Thomasina to get sick again do you? Get me my great grandson.
As she flashes back to the present, Steven rejoins her.
Steven:  Where were you just now?
Joy:  Oh.  Thomasina sent me a text.
Donna and Vicky walk into the foyer talking.
Donna:  When are we going to do something about the girls?  Look what happened out there.
Vicky:  That’s why Bridget is living with you.  I think she needs help.
Donna and Vicky both stop when they see Steven and Joy.
    Steven:  Hey mom.  Grandma.
Donna:  Honey.  Hi it’s good to see you.  Joy.
Joy:  Donna Love?  You were the owner of that club that burned down right?
    Donna:  The Harbor Club?
Joy:  Steven you didn’t tell me Donna was...your grandmother.
Vicky:  This night just gets better and better doesn’t it?
Steven:  Good evening to you, too mom.
Donna:  Joy, why don’t we go into the living room?
Vicky takes Steven to the side.
Vicky:  What the hell are you doing here with her?   After what she did to Marley?
Steven:  We’re gonna be together mom.
    Vicky:  You can’t be serious!
    --------------------------------------------------------------
Devin Lucas and Lorna walk in, and Felicia and Mitch greet them.
    Lorna:  Mother.
    Felicia:  Honey you look fabulous.
    Lorna:  Thank you.
    Devin Lucas:  Hi grandma.
    Felicia:  Hi sweety.
Mitch:  Looks like everyone’s here huh?
Devin Lucas looks across the room and sees Gregory and Lindsay laughing.

HOSPITAL - Brad is walking by the elevator doors. They open and Lucas steps out.
Brad: Hmm what a pleasant surprise.
Lucas: I’m gonna surprise you alright.
Brad: Is it the same thing you did last night?
    Lucas: Better.
As they are kissing, Felix walks from around the corner and sees them, and is a bit agitated.

IN NEW YORK CITY - Madeline’s suite….She clicks off her cell phone and turns to Nina...
    Nina: How is she?
Madeline: Connie Falconeri? She’s as well as can be expected.
Nina: Well we can’t have her busting our plan.
Madeline: I have to say that was a stroke of genius on your part.
Nina: Yep, that homewrecking bitch Ava Jerome is right where she belongs.
Madeline: Why are you trying to change the subject?
Nina: I’m not mother. She’s responsible for the break up of my marriage to Silas. She’s lucky I didn’t do worse.
Madeline: Look we’re getting off focus here. I called you here to take Sebastian back to Port Charles with you.
Nina: And I told you it isn’t time yet.
Madeline: I don’t know why you think you’re gonna get Silas back.
Nina: I am. He, Sebastian, and me. We’re gonna be the family we were supposed to be until you put me in a coma.
Madeline: And I regret that every day.
Nina: I’m sorry mom. I didn’t mean to throw that in your face.
A young guy opens the door and walks in and Madeline quickly approaches him.
Madeline: Where the hell have you been?
Guy: Where do you think? Out.
Nina steps in front of Madeline and in the face of the young guy.
Nina: Excuse me Sebastian West! You don’t talk to your grandmother like that!
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OUTSIDE OF KELLY’S...Dr. Obrecht is about to walk away when she answers a call on her cell phone from Victor Cassadine.
Dr. Obrecht: Victor did you find anything? There’s got to be something.
Britt walks up from behind and notices her mother sighing.
Dr. Obrecht: I don’t have time to search for him. Zat’s why I’m counting on you! You’ve never let me down before.
Dr. Obrecht hangs up and Britt approaches her.
Britt: Mother, mother, mother what are you up to this time?
Britt looks inside the window and sees Anna and Duke.
Britt: Oh I get it, it’s about father.
Dr. Obrecht: If you were any kind of daughter, you’d be helping me trying to find Cesar!
Britt: If you were any kind of human being, you would leave it alone.
    Dr. Obrecht slaps Britt.
Dr. Obrecht: I will not tolerate such insolence!
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, Anna and Duke get up from the table and walk toward the door, and then stop.
Duke: I think about it all the time.
Anna: Maybe our baby is out there.
Duke: Anna you’ve accepted that our baby died. Obrecht is just playing a game. She will do annathin to find Faison.
They walk out and see Britt and Dr. Obrecht, and they all face each other. Duke then quickly approaches Obrecht.
Duke: What kind of sick game are you playing?

    PART 2
Brad notices Felix out of the corner of his eye, and stops kissing Lucas.
    Brad: Felix.
    Lucas: Hey Felix.
Felix: You two looked hot and heavy. Don’t let me stop you.
Lucas: No I was just uh...gonna go see my mother before she went back to Seattle. See ya later?
    Brad: Definitely.
They kiss again and Felix looks away. Brad and Felix watch Lucas walk off and Brad turns to Felix.
    Brad: Did that bother you?
Felix: No...no why? You two are together now.
Brad: Because you want it to be you that I’m kissing.
    Felix: Get over yourself Brad.
Brad: Come on, it’s the truth. After everything I did to prove myself to you; after all the hoops I had to jump through so you could consider me worthy, you still put others first. Whether it was Sabrina, or your lofty moral code, I could never measure up.
Felix: You helped Britt pass off Dante and Lulu’s baby as hers. I’m sorry I have a hard time getting past that.
Brad: Lucas didn’t. You see he doesn’t judge me, or look down on me because I made a mistake. He forgave me for it, and we found our way to each other.
Felix: Are you tryin’ to throw your relationship in my face?
Brad, thrown by Felix’s question, regroups...
Brad: No. Lucas...is the best choice I could possibly have made.
Felix: It sounds like you chose him because you couldn’t have me, and if that’s the case, it’s not gonna last very long.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sebastian: Oh you finally decide to show up mom?
Nina: You’re being very disrespectful and you’re gonna stop!
Madeline: You see what I have to go through Nina.
Sebastian: Gram you don’t care as you long as you can spend my money.
    Nina: Enough!
Madeline: You’ve been out all night and you didn’t even bother to call. It’s twelve thirty PM.
    Sebastian: I’m twenty, not ten.
Nina: You’re out of line Sea Bass.
Sebastian: And I’m also tired. I’m going to my room.
Nina: You can rest, but when you wake up, you’re gonna pack your things.
Sebastian: What is that supposed to mean?
Nina sighs as she begins to realize how exasperating that Madeline says that Sebastian has been.
Nina: I’m taking you back to Port Charles.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Duke confront Dr. Obrecht, with Anna at his side, and Britt next to her mother.
Dr. Obrecht: I’m playing a game? Why don’t you ask your girlfriend? She won’t tell me where Cesar is.
Duke: You’re gonna use the memory of our dead child as leverage. You’re a sick woman.
Anna: Faison hurt a lot of people. He terrorized me and my loved ones for years. He’s where he belongs.
Dr. Obrecht: And where is zat?
Anna: Wouldn’t you like to know?
Britt: I can’t listen to this, and besides, I’m hungry.
Britt walks into Kelly’s and leaves Anna, Duke and Obrecht outside.
Dr. Obrecht: And wouldn’t you like to know where your child is?
Duke grabs Obrecht forcefully by her arm, and Anna turns away...
Duke: Do you know who you’re dealing with? I will snap you like a twig. You come near anyone that Anna and I care about, you’re gonna deal with me, you understand?
Dr. Obrecht: Did you hear Zat Commissioner Devane?
Anna turns back around to face them as Duke releases his grip on Obrecht.
    Anna: No actually I didn’t.
Dr. Obrecht: Zu sink I’m scared of you? I’ve dealt with far more dangerous people, and I’m still here.
Obrecht turns her attention to Anna.
Dr. Obrecht: Ze offer stands! Your child for ze whereabouts of Cesar.
Dr. Obrecht walks away, and Anna sighs to show that she’s shaken.

    PART 1
    CAR
Rachel, Carl and Michele are riding in the back. Michele is looking out the window, and Rachel looks at her with concern.
    Rachel: You’ve been very quiet.
Carl: Understandably. She hasn’t seen her family in a very long time.
    Michele: I’m nervous.
Rachel: Carl and I will be right there with you. Nothing could prepare them for what’s gonna happen today.
    -----------------
    THE MCKINNONS HOUSE
Bridget is in the living room on her cell phone wearing a summery, light cranberry based, flowery spaghetti strap dress with matching shoes.
Bridget: I forgot Charlie was your niece. I’ll see you at the wedding. Maybe we can sit together. Okay bye.
Vicky walks into the living room from the kitchen wearing a sky blue fitted spaghetti strap dress with black, open-toed, high heeled shoes.
Vicky: Who were you on the phone with?
    Bridget: Cory. Why?
Jake comes downstairs in his black tuxedo.
Jake: Bridget don’t start. You both look beautiful.
    Vicky: Thank you.
    Bridget: Thank you dad.
    There’s an awkward silence…
Vicky: So do you want to ride with me to the wedding?
Bridget: No. Steven’s coming to pick us up.
    -----------
    MENTAL INSTITUTION ROOM
Steven, dressed in a black tuxedo, is with Sharlene.
    Steven: How are you?
    Sharlene: I’ve never been better.
    Steven: That’s great to hear.
Sharlene: John was here. We talked, and I know what I have to do.
Steven: Well…I’ve got some great news.
    -----------
    HUDSONS HOUSE
Gregory is in the living room at the mirror. He is tying his tie that matches his navy blue suit, as John, dressed in a gray suit, matching light gray striped tie, and black shoes. walks downstairs with a clothing bag. Gregory notices the bag through the mirror, but continues to look in the mirror.
    Gregory: What’s in the bag?
    John: It’s a dress.
Gregory (chuckling): Is it for Felicia, or are you planning on dressing in drag?
John sighs to resist Gregory’s attempt to start to argument.
John: No. It’s actually for your mother.
    ---------
Sharlene: Wait a minute. Kirkland and Charlie are getting married today. That’s why you look so handsome.
Steven: Is that what you think my news is?
Sharlene: Well yeah. Give them my best.
    Steven: You’re going, too.
    Sharlene: What?
Steven: We conferred and you are all integrated...for good this time, and you’ve just gotta sign your papers, and you will be officially released, and the charges will be dropped.
Sharlene: Oh my God. I...I thought I was gonna miss the wedding. Oh goodness. What am I gonna wear?
Steven: John is on his way with your dress. Come on did you think I was gonna let you miss this?
Sharlene hugs her nephew with gratitude.
    ---------
    AT THE CHURCH…
Frankie, Charlie , Stacey, and Lindsay are with Charlie in one of the rooms. Frankie, Lindsay and Stacey all have their light violet bridesmaid dresses on, and Charlie still has a terrycloth robe on. Frankie and Stacey are doing Charlie’s hair. Frankie is trying to hold Charlie’s hair up, while Stacey looks where to insert a pin.
Frankie: We’re gonna get it just right.
Stacey: Okay here we go. Right there.
Stacey and Frankie look at Charlie to admire their work. Charlie looks in the mirror.
Charlie: Can you put the bun a little to the right.
Frankie: Oh Charlie come on this is about the tenth time we’ve tried.
Stacey: Lindsay, we need Felicia. I know she can get this right.
Lindsay: I got a text from her. She said she and Mitch are on their way.
    --------
    CAR-
Mitch is driving Felicia to the church.
Mitch: You haven’t said a word since we left the house.
    Felicia: Neither have you.
Mitch: Are you still angry about me asking about John? Surely you understand why.
Felicia: I really don’t wanna talk about it. This is Charlie and Kirkland’s day.
Mitch: So when are we gonna talk about it? The tenth of never?
Suddenly they hear a loud pop, and metal scraping. This causes Mitch to pull over.
    Felicia: What was that?
Mitch: Judging from that sound, I think we got a flat tire.
    Felicia sighs with frustration.

    PART 2
    Steven: Are you excited?
Sharlene: It’s bittersweet. I think my real recovery is still ongoing, but I couldn’t have gotten through the first part without you.
Steven: I can’t take credit for that. You got yourself to this point.
Sharlene: I finally figured out why Janice emerged.
    Steven: And she won’t again.
    Sharlene: Damned right.
John knocks on the door and walks in with the clothing bag that has Sharlene’s dress in it.
    Steven: Hey uncle John.
    John: Steven. Sharlene.
    Sharlene: Hi John.
Steven: Well I gotta go pick up Kirkland and Bridget.
John: Do you think you’re gonna have enough time?
Steven: Probably not. I’ll text Bridget. Hopefully mom and Jake are still there. She can ride with them.
    --------
Vicky: Look Bridget I get that you’re mad as hell at me right now, but Steven’s gonna go pick up Kirkland, too. He might not have enough time to come get you, too.
Jake: She can go in my car. You both can.
Vicky smiles as Bridget gets Steven’s text. It says “Can she go with mom or Jake? I have to get Kirk, too. Not gonna have enough time.” Bridget sucks her teeth.
    Bridget: Yeah dad.
    Jake: The car’s out back.
Bridget walks out and Vicky smiles pensively.
    Vicky: Thank you.
Jake: I will put our differences aside for our children today. That’s all.
    Vicky: It’s a start isn’t it?
Jake: A family ride or a wedding is not gonna change what’s wrong between us. I can’t just flip on a switch and decide to trust you again.
Vicky: I’m not gonna explain my reasons for that anymore, and you’re not gonna keep us in limbo. It doesn’t seem like you want to try and work things out.
Jake: Did you even listen to what I said. I will put our differences aside for the childrens’ sake.
Vicky: Yes I heard that loud and clear, and after the wedding, you can start looking for a place to live. I want you out of this house.
    --------
Mitch presses “end call” on his cell phone.
    Felicia: Sooo?
Mitch: I’m gonna go out and change it myself.
Felicia: You can’t do that. You’re gonna get your suit dirty.
Mitch: Roadside Assistance said it would be at least an hour. You’ve gotta get there for Charlie.
Felicia: Oh no. I can’t wait that long.
Someone knocks on the driver’s side window. Mitch looks out and sees John.
    --------
    FIVE MINUTES LATER…
John drives Sharlene and Felicia. Felicia is in the back seat.
Felicia: That’s wonderful that you’ve been released today. Just in time for Charlie’s wedding.
Sharlene: Why do you care? Are you concerned that you’re not gonna be able to see my husband anymore?
Felicia: For the last time I’m not having an affair with John!
Sharlene: I hear you two have been spending a lot of time together.
Felicia: And you were doing the same with my husband!
John: Quiet. This day is for Kirkland and Charlie.
    Felicia: Charlie is my God-daughter.
Sharlene: And Charlie is my niece! My flesh and blood!
John: It doesn’t matter. We all love them and you two need to stop this arguing now!
    --------
JAKE’S CAR IN THE BACK OF THE MCKINNONS HOUSE
Jake and Vicky are in the front seat.
Jake: What’s taking Bridget so long?
Vicky: A girl needs her lip gloss. Hope she can find it in that room of hers.
    ------
Bridget is in her bedroom getting her lip gloss off of her dresser, and then as she walks downstairs, she is seemingly stopped right in her tracks by a feeling.
    Bridget: What was that?
    ------
Rachel, Carl and Michele are the front door of the McKinnons house. Michele goes to a row of five flower pots, and gets a key out of it the middle pot.
Michele: I remember where the spare key is.
She takes a deep breath, and looks back at Carl and Rachel.
    Michele: Here it goes.
Michele inserts the key into the keyhole and turns it…
    -----
Stacey, Lindsay, and Frankie are all standing next to each other.
Stacey: Well there she is. We finally got her hair right.
Lindsay: She looks like she’s ready.
Frankie: You look awesome. Mama would have been proud.
Frankie smiles proudly as she puts the white matching head piece on Charlie, who is wearing Emma’s white tailored wedding dress.

AT THE WINTHROPS - Someone knocks on the door and Cass opens it. It’s Charlie.
    Cass: Heeeeey!!! You’re back!
    Charlie: Yep.
    Frankie walks in.
    Frankie: Hey honey!
    Cass: How was it?
Charlie: Oh come on. You guys know how honeymoons go.
    Frankie: We sure do.
    Charlie: It was magical.
Frankie: You didn’t wanna come back did you?
Charlie: Kirkland and I could have laid there forever. It was like there was no world outside. Just us.
    Cass: I know that feeling.
Frankie: You must have had a long flight. Are you hungry?
    Charlie: Not really. Thanks mom.
    Cass: Where’s Kirkland?
Charlie: He went to see his father.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GRANT’S HOUSE - Kirkland rings the doorbell and Christy answers.
    Christy: Hi Kirkland.
Kirkland walks past Christy looking around.
    Kirkland: Where’s my dad?
Christy: He’s getting dressed. You can wait for him.
Kirkland: Are you dad’s housekeeper or something Christy?
Christy: Far from that my dear.
Kirkland: What are you doing here anyway? Especially after you crashed me and my wife’s wedding reception.
Christy: Look I...I owe you an apology.
Kirkland: You’re damned right. You and your creepy son.
Christy: Eric is not creepy, and he had nothing to do with it. It was all my idea. I shouldn’t have done it.
A fully dressed Grant walks in.
Grant: Hey son! When did you get back?
Kirkland: Couple hours ago. Dad can I speak to you for a minute?
    Christy: I’ll...go into the study.
Kirkland and Grant look to make sure she’s out of sight, then Kirkland turns his attention to Grant.
Kirkland: Dad what is she doing here?
    Grant: Can’t I be charitable?
Kirkland: Charity? So you just gave this woman, who tormented Charlie’s parents, a place to live?
Grant: Are you saying that I am not giving? I’ll have you know that I give to a lot of organizations.
Kirkland: Yeah, especially to the ones that you can get a big tax write off for.
Grant: Did you learn comedy on your honeymoon?
Kirkland: Dad you never answered my question? What is Christy Carson doing here? I noticed you two made eye contact when she showed up uninvited at Tops.
Grant: Son I can’t get into that right now.
Kirkland: Come on dad. Are we gonna go down this road again? I read that her parole was denied. After that she gets out, and now she’s living here. What’s going on?
Grant: She’s....helping me to get Paulina back.
Kirkland: Are you on that again? Why would Christy help you to do that?
Grant: Because I love Paulina. I never stopped.
Kirkland: Nahhh there’s something more to it than that.
Grant: I’ll have to tell you later son. Hey why don’t you go see your mother. I’m sure she’d be happy to see you.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AT THE MCKINNONS - In front of the house, Jake, Vicky, Michael and Donna are all discussing Michele…
    Jake: Vicky are you serious?
Vicky: Are you telling me that Reginald isn’t capable of poisoning her mind?
Michael: He held me prisoner for over twenty years. He sure can brainwash my granddaughter.
Donna (turning to Michael): For some reason, though, I don’t think that’s the case. Bridget did some questionable things that lead to Michele’s accident.
    Vicky: Yeah, she did.
Michael: So that’s why you think Michele might be angry at Bridget. What do you think she’s gonna do?
Donna: I have no idea, but I have a very bad feeling.
Vicky: So you think that...Michele is gonna do something to Bridget, just like Marley did something to me?
Donna: Yes, and we’ve got to stop it.
Vicky: Michele is not gonna hurt her sister.
    Jake has a flashback..
    (EPISODE 184)
Jake: It’s a long story honey, but it turns out that Lindsay Winthrop is my daughter.
    Michele: My goodness.
Bridget: And she’s a deceitful lying little bitch, and I want nothing to do with her.
Michele looks at Bridget, then looks at Jake.
Michele: Well...I’d like to meet her.
Jake flashes back to the present…
Jake: Wait a minute. I know exactly where Michele is.
They all follow Jake, and Bridget comes out, and follows everyone else.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HOSPITAL EXAM ROOM - Michele is with Gregory and Lindsay…
    Gregory: Thank you.
Michele: She looked she was in a lot of pain. I’m just glad I was here for you.
Lindsay: And it was really sweet of you to stay with me. Thank you.
    Gregory: Hey I’m Greg.
Lindsay: And my name’s Lindsay. It’s nice to meet you...uh…
Lindsay extends her right hand to Michele, and Michele has a flashback (EPISODE 184).
    Jake: Um…
Bridget: Lindsay came to Bay City and lied to all of us. She tried to be my friend, knowing all the while that she was my sister.
    Michele: Our sister?
Jake: It’s a long story honey, but it turns out that Lindsay Winthrop is my daughter.
    Michele: My goodness.
Bridget: And she’s a deceitful lying little bitch, and I want nothing to do with her.
Michele looks at Bridget, then looks at Jake.
Michele: Well...I’d like to meet her.
Michele flashes back to the present.
    Michele: I’m Michele.
    Lindsay: Oh...nice to meet you.
Gregory: I appreciate you being here for Lindsay.
    Michele: Oh it’s not problem.
Michele tries to walk past them and Lindsay stops her as she approaches the door.
Lindsay: Wait Michele. You said that John was your uncle.
    Gregory: My dad?
Lindsay: Yeah. Who are you? Jake had a daughter named Michele..
Michele: I really need to go.
Lindsay grabs her arm before she can open the door.
Lindsay: What kind of game are you playing?
CAMERA PAN ON MICHELE...SLOW FADE OUT...CUT TO THEME SONG.

    PART 2
Cass: He went to see Grant? What’s the matter with him? He doesn’t wanna shoot the breeze with his in-laws?
Charlie: He wants to see parents just as I want to see mine.
Frankie: I’m sure we’ll all catch up later. When did you get back?
Charlie: About a couple of hours ago.
Cass puts his arm around Frankie’s shoulder.
Charlie: So have you heard anything from Christy Carson since she showed up at the reception?
    Frankie: I’ve...I’ve seen her.
Cass: What do you mean Frankie?
Frankie: She asked to meet with me the other day.
    Charlie: Why?
Frankie: She apologized for crashing the reception.
Cass: I can’t believe you would even meet with her. Come on you’re not falling for this!
    Frankie: That’s what Felicia said.
Cass: Christy is pulling you into her web.
Frankie: I’m giving her a second chance Cass. Who am I to hold a grudge?
Charlie: I wasn’t born yet when Christy did all those things to you, but, from what I heard, it was really bad mom. I think you need to be careful where she’s concerned.
Cass: That’s what I’ve been trying to tell her, but she won’t listen.
Frankie: Come on I wasn’t born yesterday. You think I don’t have questions myself? Her parole was denied, and then she was miraculously released.
Cass: Makes you wonder doesn’t it?
Frankie: Of course it does, and you guys are just gonna have to trust me. If Christy is up to something, I’m gonna find out what it is.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Christy creeps up to the living room and listens as Kirkland and Grant continue their conversation.
Kirkland: I’ll see mom later. We’re talking about you and Christy.
Grant: Listen I’ve told you everything that I’m going to tell you. The less you know, the better.
Kirkland: You called in a favor didn’t you? You got the governor to pardon Christy of her crimes so she can help you get Paulina back? That’s a crock dad.
Christy, while listening, has a flashback.
    (EPISODE 152)
Christy: Eric, I’m so glad to see you! Did you do it?
Eric: Yep. I got everything out of there. It wasn’t easy though.
Christy: Oh my sweet boy. You sure know how to make your mama proud.
Then she has another flashback...(EPISODE 155)
Grant: I’m gonna ask you again, what happened to Scooter?
Christy: He and I were good friends, and I’m gonna miss him dearly.
Grant: What the hell are you talking about? I just talked to him about an hour ago.
Christy: Well, Scooter had an unfortunate…occurrence. From what I heard, he just couldn’t take it anymore. He couldn’t stand the pressure of knowing what he knew, so he killed himself. Luckily for him, he had a friend like me, so what he knew, I now know.
Grant: And just what is it that you think you have knowledge of?
Christy: I know that it’s something you’ve been looking for, but that’s not all.
Grant: I don’t think you have any idea who you’re trying to play games with.
Christy: Oh. I know exactly who you are. You’re the very powerful, very wealthy, Grant Harrison. If you want something to happen, it usually does.
    Grant: I’m leaving.
Grant turns to leave and then...
Christy: I also know about your connection to Mary-Frances’s twin brother, and I know where the dossier is.
Grant: It was you. Who did you order to break into my house?
Christy: Now I’ve got your attention. I’m not gonna ask you for much...just one small favor...get me the hell out of here.
Christy interrupts Grant and Kirkland’s conversation.
Christy: Oh I’m sorry. I couldn’t help but overhearing. I am very grateful for your father helping me to get out of that facility. The least I could do is to help him get back the woman he loves.
Kirkland looks back and forth at Grant and Christy.
Kirkland: No...something’s not right here. This isn’t over dad.
    Kirkland leaves.
    Grant: He’s getting suspicious.
    Christy: That much I gathered.
Grant: You’re gonna need to move out.
Christy: I’d like a suite downtown.
Grant: Whatever. I’ll make a call.
Christy: You better throw Kirkland off our trail, because if you don’t, this could blow up in all of our faces. Where did he go anyway?
Grant: I presume he went to tell his mother’s side of the family that he’s back in town.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lindsay: I asked you a question.
Gregory: How do you know my dad?
Michele: I told her he was a friend of the family.
Lindsay: You said he was your uncle, and you have the same name of my dead sister. Whatever game you’re playing, it’s very cruel.
    Michele: It’s not a game!
Lindsay: Then what is this? Who are you?
Jake, Vicky, Donna, and Michael walk in.
Lindsay: Jake, what are you doing here?
    Jake goes directly to Michele.
Jake: I knew you’d come here.
Lindsay: You knew what? What’s going on?
Donna and Michael also slowly approach Michele.
Donna: Honey, what did you say to Lindsay?
Michele: Why is everyone treating me like I’m fragile?
    Michael: Baby we’re just concerned.
Michele: Nothing is wrong. I just came to see…
Lindsay: Will someone tell me what the hell is going on?
Jake: This is your sister Michele. Reginald changed her face. She knew who you were all along.
Vicky: Why is everyone ganging up on her? You are acting as though she committed a crime. All she came to do is see Lindsay.
Lindsay: No wonder she said John was her uncle.
    Gregory: My God...you’re...you’re alive. Wow.
Lindsay suddenly doubles over in pain as she grabs her stomach. She notices blood on one of her thighs...and so does Gregory.
    Gregory: Lindsay?
    Jake: My God.
Gregory: We’re going to see a doctor.
    Lindsay: I’m...fine.
    Gregory: This isn’t gas.
    Jake: What’s going on?
Gregory: She’s been having stomach pains.
Gregory, Lindsay, and Jake leave as Donna, Michael and Vicky continue to talk to Michele.
Donna: Why don’t you come with us? We’ll take you home.
Vicky: Why don’t we all go...and see if Jake needs anything.
Michael: Honey we’ll be waiting by the elevators for you.
    Vicky: I love you.
    Donna: We all do.
Michele: I’ll be right behind you.
Michael, Vicky and Donna leave the exam room. Michele takes a deep breath, and walks to the door, but before she approaches it, Bridget walks in and locks it.
    Michele: I was leaving.
    Bridget: No...not yet.
    Michele: Everybody’s waiting for me.
Bridget: You’re gonna tell me what you’re up to.
Michele: Are you sure you wanna do this now?
    Bridget: Yes Michele...now.

PART 1 Stacey’s apartment - Stacey is in the living room and Lindsay walks in from her bedroom, and notices Stacey staring at her cell phone.
Lindsay (walking to get her purse): Charlie just texted. They’re back from Chadwell. We’re supposed to go get fitted for our dresses.
    Stacey continues to stare..
Lindsay: Mom? Hello? Earth to mom.
Stacey (snapping out of it): Oh I’m sorry.
Lindsay: Are you waiting for Jake to call you?
    Stacey: Ummm...no.
Lindsay: Mom it’s okay, but I think helping Charlie with her wedding would help get our minds off of it.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BAY CITY CENTER - Frankie and Charlie are sitting at a table, and Frankie is on her cell phone.
Frankie: Yeah we’re back. Oh your daughter’s gonna look like a million bucks. See ya later.
Charlie: I just texted Kirkland and Lindsay.
Frankie: They’re gonna meet us here right?
Charlie: Yeah hopefully soon. Hey I’m gonna go to the ladies’ room. I’ll be back.
    Frankie: Okay honey.
Charlie leaves and suddenly she gets a chill…
Frankie: What was that? Nope I will not let any negative vibes get in the way of my daughter’s wedding.
    Then...Eric approaches Frankie…
Eric: Hi. Your name’s Mary Frances right?
Frankie becomes a bit concerned and stands up to face him.
Frankie: Yes, but I don’t believe we’ve met.
Eric: I’ve heard so much about you.
Frankie: Is that right? From whom?
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PRISON MENTAL FACILITY - Christy walks into the visitor’s area, and Grant is there. Christy sits across from him.
Grant: What the hell do you want? I have to go get fitted for my tux.
Christy: You’d better be bringing me some good news.
Grant: Not so fast Ms. Carson.
    Christy: Excuse me?
Grant looks around to make sure nobody is in earshot, and leans closer to Christy…
Grant: Before I get you out of here, I want the evidence that Scooter had.
Christy: Who says I have any evidence?
Grant: Don’t play coy, especially if you wanna get out of here. You give me what I want, and I give you what you want. It’s that simple.
Christy: And if I don’t give it?
Grant: Then you spend the rest of your life in this facility. That isn’t what you want, is it Ms. Carson?
Christy: If I didn’t know any better, you’re trying to play hardball, and if that’s the case, you picked the wrong bitch.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE MCKINNONS - Steven and Kirklandhave arrived amongst Jake and Vicky’s argument.
Kirkland: What the hell is going on over here?
Steven: That’s what I’d like to know.
Jake: Guys I’m so sorry. I forgot we were going to get fitted for our tuxes today.
    Vicky walks up to Kirkland.
Vicky: You know what honey, you guys go ahead.
    Then she looks at Jake.
Vicky: Jake and I can put aside our differences for Kirkland’s sake. Can’t we Jake?
    Jake: You’re right.
    Then Jake looks at Kirkland.
Jake: It’s gonna be your wedding day, and I would never try to take anything away from that.
CAMERA PAN ON JAKE…SLOW FADE TO THEME SONG.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    PART 2
Stacey and Lindsay interrupt Eric from possibly telling Frankie that Christy is his mother.
    Lindsay: Hey Frankie.
    Frankie: Hi there.
    Stacey: Where’s my niece?
Eric: I’m sorry. I’m gonna go.
    Eric runs off.
Frankie: Wait a minute. Who are you?
    Lindsay: Yeah who is that?
Frankie: Maybe that’s...what I got a feeling about. Anyway, let’s go get those dresses.
Stacey: I’ll text Charlie and tell her to meet us there. Where’s Emma’s wedding dress?
Frankie: It was delivered to the shop.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TUXEDO SHOP...Jake, Kirkland, and Steven are side by side, as a tailor measures each one of them for their tuxedos.
Kirkland: What’s up with you and mom?
Jake: Don’t worry about us son. You should be focusing on marrying Charlie.
    Steven strategically interjects…
Steven: Jake’s right. You’re about to make a lifelong commitment to my cousin. How does it feel?
Kirkland: You make it sound like I’m about to go to jail or something.
Jake: Well get ready for arguments about the toothpaste, and the bed not being made up. I remember your mom used to always tell you to make up your bed when you were younger.
Steven: You didn’t have to tell me that. My side of the room was always clean.
Jake: Steven you were always a clean person. We didn’t have to get after you about chores and things.
Steven: I feel sorry for Charlie.
Kirkland: So what I’m a little messy.
Jake and Steven (at the same time): A little?
Steven: I think you should hit up your dad so you can hire a maid to clean up after you.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Grant: I can keep you locked up in here forever if I wanted to.
Christy: You go right ahead and try, because one phone call, and you’ll have a one way ticket to the pen.
    Grant: You’re bluffing.
Christy: Oh believe me, I’m not. I know you’re connected to Evan Frame’s reign of mayhem, and that you shot him.
    Grant: You don’t know anything.
Christy: Oh come on Grant. We both know that the object of your affection is Paulina, and I’ve got the goods to help you get her, but you gotta get me outta here...first. If I were you, I’d strongly encourage you to call in all the favors you need to. We can help each other. It’s a win win.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BRIDAL SHOP - Stacey and Frankie are in one room being measured by the seamstresses.
    Stacey: Charlie deserves this.
Frankie: I’m so happy for my baby.
Stacey: I know Cass wasn’t happy about it at first.
Frankie: No he wasn’t. He softened up after the judge ruled against Christy’s release.
Stacey: He just wants Charlie to be safe.
Frankie: We were at odds about it, but some time away has given some clarity.
    Stacey: About what?
Frankie: Your brother. I’m always gonna love him. I still love him. I guess I’ve just been stubborn about it.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Charlie and Lindsay are in another room being fitted. Charlie’s is being tailored while she wears it.
    Lindsay: That’s your grandmother’s dress?
    Charlie: Yeah.
    Lindsay: It’s beautiful.
Charlie: Thank you. I can’t believe it’s so close.
    Lindsay: I know.
Charlie: Should I hyphenate my name?
Lindsay: So you wanna be Charlotte Winthrop-Harrison?
Charlie: Ahhhh I dunno about that. It didn’t sound right. No offense.
    Lindsay: None taken.
Charlie: I guess we’ll stick with Charlotte Harrison.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kirkland: So Steven, Jake and I are gonna be married. When is it gonna be your turn?
Steven: All in good time lil brother.
Jake: So there isn’t anyone you’ve got your eye on since you’ve been back?
Kirkland: He’s got an imaginary girlfriend.
Steven: She’s not my girlfriend, but she’s definitely a complicated girl. She acts so tough on the outside, but deep down is a real sweet person. There’s a mystery that I wanna uncover when it comes to her.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MEANWHILE in MONTICELLO...Joy walks into an office, with blue strobe lights and a blue ‘L’ on the left wall.
Joy: Boss, I’ve done as you’ve asked.

    AT THE HOSPITAL

    Gregory
and Stacey hold vigil while Lindsay sleeps. They both are looking at her proudly.

Gregory: She looks so beautiful when she sleeps.

Stacey: Just like she’s always been since she was a baby. Boy she used to scream her little head off. She was a demanding little girl, and I had to curb some of that, but I loved giving her everything she ever needed. She’s gonna need you Gregory. She’s gonna need both of us to get her through this.

Gregory: I will do whatever I can. Lindsay’s in good hands.

Stacey: I wonder how she’s gonna deal with the fact she can’t have children.

Gregory: I’m glad you talked her into having the surgery.

Stacey: She would have been at a great risk for ovarian cancer. Those polyps could have killed her. Thank God I managed to convince her that she still has a lot of life left.

    Lindsay opens her eyes slowly.

    Lindsay: Mom.

    Stacey: Honey hi.

Gregory: Hey babe. How you feelin’?

Lindsay: Like I’ve been punched in the gut really hard.

Stacey: That’s to be expected after the surgery.

    Lindsay: Thank you for staying.

    Gregory: Why wouldn’t we?

    Stacey: We love you.

    Lindsay: Where’s Jake?

Stacey: He’s gonna be along shortly.

    -------------------------------------------

    BAY CITY CENTER

    Jake
and Paulina are sitting at a table, and Paulina has placed her hand on Jake’s.

    Jake: Appreciate that.

Paulina: We haven’t always had the most savory relationship you know.

Jake: I wouldn’t call you shooting me a nurturing building block.

Paulina: But you blackmailed me so you can get a cut of my inheritance.

Jake: Oh come on. You’re still holding that against me?

Paulina: All you could think about was Marley, and you ended up marrying her sister.

Jake: And you married Joe Carlino, the anti me.

    They both laugh.

Paulina: And because of Vicky you have two wonderful daughters.

Jake: And you got a good son. Hey I saw you and Jack Snyder at Kirkland and Charlie’s wedding. How’s that going?

Paulina: I...couldn’t really tell you. I don’t know. I haven’t gotten any phone calls or texts from him since that night.

    Jake: Have you called him?

Paulina: Yes. I’m gonna go down to the station. Maybe it’s because Carly showed up.

    Jake: His wife?

Paulina: Yeah, and suddenly I don’t hear anything from him.

Jake: From what I hear they have a lot of history, and two daughters.

Paulina: What was I thinking? Maybe I really have no chance. How can I compete with what he and Carly have?

Jake: You really don’t have any control over how Jack feels about you.

Paulina: I came on a little strong after the wedding.

    Jake: You? Naaaah.

    Paulina: We kissed.

Jake: Wow that...that is strong. Come on Paulina he’s still married.

Paulina: I know that, but I can’t stand to watch Carly keep jerking him around.

Jake: Carly will only do what Jack allows.

Paulina: Do you know how long it has taken me to move from Joe’s death?

Jake: That’s understandable. He was your husband and you share a child.

Paulina: I always felt like I would be betraying him if I fell in love with another man.

Jake: Paulina no...please tell me you’re not in love with Jack.

    --------------------------------------------

    POLICE STATION

    Jack
is in his office when Toni walks in.

Toni: Did you get my email?

Jack: About the police detail at the Center?

Toni: Yep that one. It’s all set.

    Jack: Grant’s press conference.

    --------------------------------------------

    GRANT’S HOUSE

    Grant
hums while tying his tie, while his publicist talks to him.

Grant: I’m going to be officially accepting the seat as Bay City’s representative for the State of Illinois.

Publicist: Maybe it’s good you didn’t win the mayoral election. We’ve gotta get you ready to answer some questions.

Grant: Oh it’s nothing I probably haven’t heard before. Jobs, the economy, crime prevention.

Publicist: Yes all those, and the religious freedom law.

Grant: I’ve seen that all on the news. I’m ready for that, and all those questions.

CAMERA PAN ON GRANT...SLOW FADE TO THEME SONG.

    -------------------------------------------------

    PART 2

Paulina: You can’t help who you fall in love with.

Jake: However true that is, you need to protect yourself against falling for Jack Snyder.

Paulina: Is it because he’s married to Carly?

Jake: You’re not only competing against Carly, but the history they have.

Paulina: Jack and I have history, too, way before Carly ever entered the picture...way before I ever came to Bay City, and Carly doesn’t seem like she wants to work things out.

Jake: And you’re gonna be there to pick up the pieces? You’re setting yourself up for a fall.

Paulina: Like I did with you all those years ago?

    Jake: That was different.

Paulina: You were in love with Marley, among other things.

Jake: And you weren’t in love with Grant.

Paulina: Jack is not going to hurt me like you and Grant did.

Jake: Listen, just be careful okay. He’s going through a rough patch with his wife. Believe me, I know what those are.

Paulina: I’m going to help him through that.

Jake: I don’t think you’re considering the possibility that Jack could go back to Carly. You need to be ready for that.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

    Toni: Another one.

    Jack: Yeah unfortunately.

Toni: He gets his Senate seat back but he continues to get away with crimes.

Jack: He is a slippery one.

Toni: I’m gonna make sure everything is set up. I’ll be in my office.

Jack sifts through papers on his desk and suddenly has a flashback…

    (EPISODE 183)

    Jack: You heard the lady.

Grant: I was having a conversation with Paulina.

Jack: She doesn’t need you in her life, neither does Dante.

Grant: And that’s because you’re the alternative?

Jack: I’m not gonna let you hurt her again.

Grant: Just like you’re doing to your wife.

Then he has another flashback when Carly approaches Jack at an Oakdale Hospital when Carly tells him that she is pregnant with their second child...and then he has another flashback.

    (EPISODE 185)

Jack flashes back to the present then makes a phone call.

Jack: Paulina, can you come to the station? We have to talk.

    ---------------------------------------

Grant and his publicist continue to commiserate in preparation for his press conference in Bay City Center. Grant has his back to the door as Kirkland
    walks in.

Publicist: Well you know they’re gonna ask you about your views on this religious freedom law and how it might be used to discriminate against gays and lesbians.

Grant: I will be sure to express my views about that.

    Kirkland: Dad.

Grant and his publicist are startled a bit by Kirkland’s presence.

    Grant: Son. Hi.

Kirkland: I’m anxious to know what those views are.

Grant (signaling to his publicist): Umm can you give us some privacy please? Thanks.

Kirkland watches the publicist leave and he turns to Grant.

    Kirkland: So?

Grant: So what? You wanna know how I feel about the new laws being passed regarding religious freedom?

Kirkland: Let me guess you’re all for it.

Grant: I think your concern is bigger than that. You’re really wondering how I feel about how businesses in some states are going to use this law to discriminate.

Kirkland: And you wonder why people won’t come out of the closet.

Grant: Are we talking about other gays...or you?

Kirkland: Of course I’m not talking about me, but this is another thing that’s gonna keep people closeted.

Grant: Well...son...you’re right, I am for religious freedom. That’s one of the foundations that this country was built on.

    Kirkland: Like I thought.

Grant: But I don’t support discrimination of any kind. I will not support any business in Bay City, or any city, that uses this religious freedom law as some type of permission to not serve gays and lesbians. Everyone is entitled to the same rights, no matter what their orientation is.

Kirkland is stunned by Grant’s admission.

    Kirkland: You...surprise me sometimes.

Grant: Kirkland, did you really think that I would support a law that encourages discrimination? I can’t believe you!

Kirkland: I guess I...didn’t have enough faith in you.

Grant: No you didn’t, and for the record, I still think you need to tell your wife about your past. I don’t support you keeping your secret from her.

    ---------------------------------------------

    AT THE HOSPITAL...

    Charlie
, Cass and Frankie walk into Lindsay’s room with flowers, where Stacey and Gregory hold vigil.

Charlie: These are from Kirkland and me.

Lindsay: Thank you. Where did he go?

Charlie: He went to see his dad. I think Grant’s gonna have a press conference soon.

Cass: We don’t need another one of those.

Gregory: My mom witnessed a shooting.

Stacey: Well, we’re gonna think happy things now. Positive things.

Frankie: We’re all here for you Lindsay, whatever you need.

    Lindsay gives a tight smile.

    Lindsay: Yeah thanks.

Cass: Well...uh we’re gonna head to the Corys.

Stacey: Oh. Gonna go see Rachel?

Frankie: No, Carl called and asked to meet with me. I’ll be honest I got a bit of a weird feeling about it.

Cass, Frankie and Charlie walk over to Lindsay. Cass kisses her on her forehead, and Frankie and Charlie follow up with hugs.

    Cass: We’ll see ya kid.

    Charlie: Love you.

As Cass, Frankie and Charlie leave, Jake walks in. They all greet each other.

    Jake: Hey. How’s my kid?

    Lindsay: I’m kinda tired.

Jake: Yeah you just had surgery.

Stacey: Get some rest honey. Jake can I talk to you for a minute outside?

    -------------------------------------------

    OUTSIDE OF LINDSAY’S ROOM

    Jake: How is she?

    Stacey: I’m...concerned about her.

    Jake: What did John say?

Stacey: They had to do an emergency full hysterectomy.

Jake: Well that’s good right? The polyps have no chance to turn malignant.

    Stacey: Right.

Jake: So what’s the...my God...she can’t have kids. Marley went through the same thing twenty five years ago, but she got pregnant.

Stacey: This is altogether different than Marley’s situation was, and she’s taking it harder than she’s shows. I’m worried about her Jake. This could send our daughter into depression, and she’s gonna need both of us, and...I’m gonna need you, too. I’m really really worried about her.

Jake: I’m gonna be here for Lindsay...and for you.

Cass is holding Frankie as they both stare at the fireplace.

Cass: It’s crazy how that turned out.

Frankie: Then Kathleen came back from the dead.

Cass: Go ahead and say it.

    Frankie: Say what?

    Cass: I waffled.

Frankie: See I wasn’t even thinking that.

    Cass: Surrrre you weren’t.

Frankie: You chose us, and I’m grateful.

Cass: Aww how sappy of you. You must want something.

Frankie turns around to face Cass, and smiles.

Frankie: Hmm and what do you think that might be?

    Cass: You’ve seen it before.

Frankie: It? Sounds like a repeat of a TV show.

Cass: It’s way more entertaining than that. In fact, it’s a must see.

    Frankie: Is that right?

Cass: It’s a modern 2015 show, so it’s very interactive.

    Frankie: Hmmm.

    Cass: Requires your full participation.

They kiss while each of their cell phones vibrate.

    CORY MANSION

Matt is in the living room talking on his cell phone.

Matt: What is it now? I’m gonna talk to Lila first before I buy that for you. Jasmine we’ve been over this.

Carl walks in and smiles, unseen by Matt as Matt continues...

You forgot that your mother told me that you wrecked her car, and don’t try to call mom or Mitch. I’ve already told them that you’d try to ask them to buy you a car. Jasmine?

Matt looks at the phone and realizes that Jasmine hung up on him.

Carl: Ahh the joys of being a parent.

    Matt: Especially when they’re eighteen.

Carl: Just like your brother and sister.

    Matt: How’s it going?

Carl: I’m at peace. I’m home with my family.

Matt: Well I’m gonna head to the office.

Carl: Wait, Matthew, before you go. May I talk to you?

Matt: I haven’t got a lot of time Carl. I really gotta get back.

    Carl: I want to apologize.

    Matt: For what?

Carl: The things I did to your father...and your mother.

    BAY CITY CENTER

Rachel sits at a table seemingly staring into space and she flashes back.

    (EPISODE 200)

Rachel: Carl please...please tell me what’s going on? Tell me that I’m wrong about what I’m thinking.

Carl: About the tumor returning? No darling, unfortunately you’re correct. It’s back.

Rachel flashes back to the present, looks up and sees Amanda.

    Amanda: Mom are you okay?

Rachel: I’m glad you’re here. Please sit.

Amanda puts her purse on the chair, and sits looking straight at Rachel.

    Amanda: Mom what’s going on?

Rachel: There’s something I...need to tell you.

    -----------------------

Matt: Carl you don’t have to apologize for that anymore. It happened over twenty five years ago.

Carl: I’m grateful to have been part of your lives. I never tried to take Mackenzie’s place in your life, but I’m glad I was able to be here when I was.

Matt (chuckling nervously): Carl you’re talking in past tense what’s going on?

Carl: I wanted to tell...all of the children before the party.

    Matt: Tell us what?

    Carl: I’m dying.

    Matt: You’re what?

    Carl: The tumor’s returned.

    -------------------------

Amanda: Oh my God mom. I don’t know what to say. I’m so sorry.

Rachel: Thank you honey. We wanted to tell all the children before the party.

    Amanda: A party.

Rachel: Carl is throwing a party at the house to announce it to everyone.

Amanda: Mom is there anything I can do for you?

Rachel: Just look out for your little brother and sister.

Amanda: Oh...Cory and Elizabeth. Did you…?

    Rachel: We told them.

Amanda: They must be so devastated.

    -------------------------

Matt: I’ll do everything I can to help Cory and Elizabeth. I know what it’s like to lose a father.

Carl: I know. You’re very strong young man. I want you to instill some of that in Cory. I can at least take comfort in the fact that Cory and Elizabeth will have their family, especially their brother and sisters. I hate having to leave my children. You, Matthew, are so great with Jasmine. Tell her how much you love her, as often as you can. You really don’t know how long you have left on this earth.

    -------------------------

Amanda: Mom you’re going through this again.

Rachel: You know at least this time I...can prepare for it. With your father it was unexpected.

    Amanda: The plane crash.

Rachel: This time it’s a bit different, but no less painful. Guess you can never really be prepared for something like this. Carl’s going to die, and there’s nothing I can do about it.

Amanda looks at Rachel not knowing what to say, and suddenly Iris approaches them.

Iris: Did I hear you right? Carl’s dying?

Rachel and Amanda both roll their eyes as if they didn’t want Iris to know this soon.

Cass and Frankie lie in bed.

Cass: Hmm how did you like that program?

Frankie: It’s one of those shows that I enjoy seeing over and over again, and interacting with.

Cass: Sounds like you’re ready for another showing.

Frankie: So it’s a two parter?

    Cass: You’re such a smart...viewer.

Frankie: I’m gonna be doing more than watching.

Their cell phones continue to vibrate and they stop.

Cass: Ugh let’s check our phones.

Frankie: You’re right. It’s getting on my nerves.

They check their text messages and Frankie becomes concerned while Cass smiles.

    Cass: Mine is from Maggie.

    Frankie: Oh...um how is she?

Cass: She’s coming to Bay City. She got a job at the hospital.

    Frankie: That’s...that’s wonderful.

    Cass: Frankie what’s wrong?

Frankie: Carl wants to see me as soon as possible. Cass I got a bad feeling about this.

    -------------------------------------------------

Matt: I know we’ve had our differences, but I can’t deny the fact that you made my mother very happy, and you allowed her to love again after dad died.

Carl: I love your mother with all of my being.

Matt: It took me a while to see that.

    Carl: I understand.

Matt: My mom’s gonna be a mess, or at least inside she is.

Carl: You know your mother well don’t you?

Matt: She’s gonna act like she’s dealing. She’s gonna try to be the strong one for Cory and Elizabeth.

Carl: I can see her now trying to comfort everyone else.

Matt: When she’s the one who’s gonna need the most comforting.

Carl: You’ve always been a dutiful son to her.

Matt: And that’s not gonna change now. She’s had so much loss. Dad, grandma and now you. How is she ever gonna deal with this?

    ---------------------------------

Amanda: I’m gonna go call Alli. I’ll be right back mom.

Rachel: Yes Iris. Carl is dying.

    Iris: Rachel I’m so sorry.

Rachel: I’m sure that you are.

Iris: I’m being serious. You’ve had a lot of loss in your life.

    Rachel: Thanks for reminding me.

Iris: Listen I know that we’ve been on opposite sides of the spectrum, and I have never been Carl’s biggest fan, but I never would wish that on you, or Cory. Poor Cory, he’s gonna be so hurt, and what about Elizabeth?

Rachel: Don’t worry about my children. I will take care of them.

Iris: I know given our history you have a hard time believing me, but you forgot that I lost Dennis’s father.

    Rachel: Alex Wheeler.

Iris: He’s really the only man I’ve ever loved; so much that I gave him a child. That was such a painful time for me, and then daddy. Especially after what I was trying to do.

    Rachel: Yes I remember.

Iris’s eyes start to well up.

Iris: You made me tell daddy the truth, and when I did, he was so angry with me.

    Rachel: Understandably.

Iris: I betrayed him. I hurt him badly. I was The Chief. I was the one trying to take over Cory Publishing.

    Rachel begins to soften up.

Rachel: But you...and Mac patched things up.

Iris: Yes we did, and it was the last conversation I had with him before he died. So you see Rachel, if it weren’t for you; if you hadn’t made me tell daddy that I was The Chief, we never would have worked things out. Losing Alex and daddy were the most painful experiences in my life, and I don’t wish that pain; that hurt; that loss...on anybody. Not you...not anyone. Iris wipes tears from her face and gets up.

Rachel: Iris…thank you. I’d appreciate it if you don’t tell anyone about Carl yet.

As Iris is walking away, she answers a call on her cell phone.

Iris: Hi. I’m fine. Sounds like you’re on a plane, are you on your way to Bay City? I’ll see you when you get here. There’s something I need to tell you.

Guy: I haven’t seen dad in years.

Lorna: Well, Devin Lucas, you’ll also get to meet my mother.

Devin Lucas: Hope she’s not like my grandfather.

Grant: Yes you did. I’m impressed.

Christy: No you’re not. You’re surprised.

Grant: Okay you got me. I’m surprised.

Christy: I told you I’d help you get Paulina. You’re at the lake Mister Ed, all you have to do now is take a sip.

    PART 2

    AT THE CENTER

    Christy enters and sees Eric
(whose back is turned to Christy) looking at a taped version of Grant’s press conference on television.

Grant (on TV): I am in full support of equality, and

l condemn any business in Bay City that uses religious freedom to discriminate against gays and lesbians.

Christy notices Eric’s intent look at Grant’s statement, then approaches her son.

    Christy: Hi honey.

    Eric (a bit startled): Mom.

Christy: You don’t have your smock on.

Eric: I’m getting off in a few minutes.

Christy: Oh. Why don’t we umm...go do something.

Eric goes a table and wipes it down.

Eric: What are we gonna do mom? Go shopping?

Christy: Don’t be like that. I just want to spend time with my son. Is that so wrong?

Eric: It’s wrong what you did to Kirkland and Charlie.

Charlie walks in and sees Eric and Christy.

Christy: I thought we were past this.

Eric: Everybody looks at me like I got some kind of disease. Allen Love told his daughter to stay away from me because of what you decided we should do.

Christy: Honey I didn’t mean for any of that to happen. I just…

Eric: Wanted to push your own agenda. Whatever it is you’re trying to do, I don’t want any part of it.

    Felicia
    comes in and joins Charlie.

Felicia: Charlie honey. I saw you through the door. How’s everything?

    Charlie: Whatcha doin’ down here?

Felicia: I’m meeting my agent in a few.

Charlie: I was gonna get a latte and head to the hospital.

Felicia: Cass told me about Lindsay. I hope everything’s okay.

Charlie: Lindsay’s gonna live, but I wonder how she’s gonna deal with not being able to have children.

    Felicia notices Christy and Eric.

Felicia: Some women don’t deserve to have children. The universe can be so unfair.

    Meanwhile, Eric and Christy continue.

Christy: I don’t know what else you want me to do.

Eric: I want you to leave. I gotta go punch out.

Eric walks past the counter to the back.

Christy: Eric we’re not finished. I am your mother and I love you. Don’t forget that.

Christy walks away, sees Felicia, and rolls her eyes. Felicia stops Christy.

    Charlie: I’m gonna...get my lattes.

Felicia: Your shenanigans have alienated your own son. You should do us all a favor and leave Bay City.

Christy: You know what Felicia you’re becoming a reeeeeal problem.

Felicia: Is that a veiled threat? I’m not afraid of you Christy. As long as I draw breath, I’m not gonna let you hurt anyone I care about.

Christy: Are you talking about Cass and Mary Frances?

Felicia: If you come after them, or anyone else I love, you will answer to me.

    Felicia leaves...and Christy watches.

Christy: Time to get Felicia out of the way.

Christy then leaves. Meanwhile, Charlie grabs her latte and notices Eric, who is bothered by the confrontation he just had with Christy. Eric turns around, and sees Charlie looking at him. Charlie leaves quickly.

    AT PAULINA’S HOUSE

Jack and Paulina lie on the couch, underneath a blanket, with no clothes on, after having made love.

Paulina: Couldn’t you have waited a few more minutes to get me upstairs?

Jack: I couldn’t wait any longer.

Paulina: Well I could’ve looked at it one of two ways.

    Jack: And what’s that?

Paulina: It’s been...a lonnnng time for me.

Jack: Not quite as long for me, but it’s been long enough.

    Paulina: And I loved it.

Jack: What part? The boat size, or the motion?

Paulina (laughing): Definitely that, and the spontaneity of it all. Who needs a bed for round two?

    Jack: Round two?

    Paulina: Yeah.

Meanwhile, Grant approaches Paulina’s door, flashes back to what he saw on the jump drive, and smiles.

    Grant: Beginning of the end.

Grant’s elation turns to horror when he looks inside and sees Jack and Paulina making love.

    ---------------------------------------------------------

Rachel: Carl I asked you a question.

Carl: Darling you worry too much.

Rachel: We’ve been through this a hundred times before. I know when you’re up to something.

Carl: I was calling Elizabeth. Checking on her.

Rachel: Calling our daughter? She’s a texter.

Carl: Elizabeth and I have a special kind of relationship.

    Rachel: Don’t I know it.

Carl: Well I’m gonna head upstairs.

Rachel: She went to the hospital to see her cousin.

Carl pecks Rachel on her forehead and leaves.

    Rachel: Something’s definitely wrong.

Amanda: I can’t get it out of my head.
    Paulina: Operation Loco.
Amanda: Iris approved all this funding for that project before she hired me, but it’s just an usually large sum of money, and then the deposits just stopped. I don’t get it.
Paulina: The only way you’re gonna find out is finding out where those deposits went.
Amanda tries to access the “Loco” file on her computer…

Iris is shocked after reading what was in the envelope...
Iris: I can’t believe this. How did this happen?
Alexandra: According to Alan’s will, he left me in charge of his safety deposit box in the event of his death.
Iris: So you’re just coming across this now?
Alexandra: I’ve been so preoccupied with Spaulding Enterprises, and trying to fend off and Phillip and Alan-Michael, the corporate predators that they are. I haven’t even had a second to go over and see what was in it. I promise you, as soon as I found out, I called and told you.

Alexandra: It should help you tremendously at your upcoming hearing.
Iris (sighing): Truer words. What would I do without you?
Alexandra: Hopefully you’ll never find out.
    Iris’ eyes well up.
Iris: You’re truly my best friend.
Alexandra: Don’t you forget it darling.
    They hug.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Karen is in the hallway on her cell phone.
Karen: Hutchins woke up. The antidote worked, and it wouldn’t have without you. Dr. McCleary, though, is becoming a problem. She’s getting too close to Marissa.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lisa goes into Marissa’s room, and goes over to her bed as she sleeps.
Lisa: Karen gave you way too much propofol. Why would the boss want you sedated so heavily? I’m gonna help you.
Lisa touches Marissa’s arm, gets a chill, and jumps back in horror.
    Lisa: Oh my God!
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Carl is now sitting up in his bed...
Rachel: Karen says you’re doing great. That means we’ll be able to go home soon. Do you remember anything?
Carl: I recall was taking a drink. The police were holding you for Reginald’s murder.
Rachel: Boy where do I start with that?
Carl: Sharlene was talking to me.
    Rachel: No it wasn’t her.
    Carl: Was it an alter?
    Rachel: Yes
Carl: She accused of me leaving Janice to raise Evan and Frankie alone, and then I had trouble breathing.
Rachel: She had poisoned the liquor. I figured out that she had planted it in my sweater to make it look like I killed Reginald Love. She had an elaborate plan to destroy us.
Carl: I wonder why her alter wanted to kill Reginald. Sounds like she was out for some type of revenge.
Rachel: Well Sharlene is getting the help she needs, as for us, I’m looking forward to going home.
    Carl: Where am I Rachel?
    Rachel (sighing): We’re in Monticello.
    Carl: Where?
Rachel: Honey that’s not important right now. You’re up and well….
Carl: Why won’t you tell me where we are? What are you hiding?

    Part 1

    AT STACEY’S APARTMENT

Stacey is sitting on the couch on her cell phone…

Stacey: Yes that’s what she told me. Jake told her that he wanted to forge a father/daughter relationship with her.

She gets up and walks toward the kitchen as she continues her conversation…

Stacey: Of course she’s always gonna think of you as her dad Derek. Don’t be ridiculous. Hold on I got a call. (she clicks over) Stacey Winthrop. Jake? What? Oh my God. I’ll...I’ll be right there. (she clicks back to Derek). Hey I gotta go. Something’s wrong with Lindsay.

    ----------------------------------------

    HOSPITAL

John is in his office looking on his computer, and he receives a file from the lab labeled: Lindsay Winthrop test results. He opens it and examines the results.

    -----------------------------

Lindsay is lying on a bed dressed in a gown as Gregory holds vigil, and her hand.

Lindsay: What could be wrong with me? I really thought it was just gas. I...I can’t figure out what’s really going on. Why was all that blood coming out? What if it’s…?

Gregory: Let’s not jump to any conclusions.

Lindsay: I can’t help it. What if something is terribly wrong?

Gregory: Whatever it is, we’ll deal with it together.

    ------------------------

Meanwhile, outside of Lindsay’s room, Jake is about to open the door when Vicky approaches him.

    Vicky: Hey.

    Jake: Hi.

Vicky: Has Uncle John said anything about what’s going on with Lindsay yet?

Jake: No. We’re still waiting for the results.

Vicky: You...really seem worried about her.

Jake: Why wouldn’t I be Vicky? She’s my daughter.

Vicky: Nobody said you shouldn’t be.

Jake: I love all of my children.

Vicky: Since that’s the case, don’t forget about Michele.

Jake: Vicky I’m not doing this right now. Lindsay needs me right now.

Jake walks into Lindsay’s room and leaves Vicky standing where she is. Vicky folds her arms in when Michael and Donna approach her.

    Michael: Any news on Lindsay?

    Vicky: No.

    Donna: Well where’s Jake?

Vicky: He just went in there with her.

    Donna: Did anyone call Stacey?

    Vicky: I don’t know Donna. I don’t know what’s going on anymore.

Donna: Jake should be here with you and trying to find out what’s going with Michele.

    Vicky: My thoughts exactly.

Michael: Donna you’re not being fair.

Donna: Yes I’m being more than fair. Jake needs to be here for Michele, too. Lindsay isn’t the only daughter he has. We don’t know what state of mind Michele’s in right now, and she needs her mother and father.

Vicky: Once we undo what Reginald did to her, we’ll have the Michele that we all know and love back.

    Donna: You’re in denial Victoria.

    Michael sighs.

Michael: Listen we’re not gonna do this here okay. We need to see what’s taking Michele so long.

As Michael turns to go check on Michele, Stacey shows up.

    ------------------------

    EXAM ROOM

    Bridget and Michele face off.

    Michele: Everybody’s waiting for me.

Bridget: You’re gonna tell me what you’re up to.

Michele: Are you sure you wanna do this now?

    Bridget: Yes Michele...now.

    Michele: OMG Bridget.

Bridget: What are you up to?

Michele: What are you talking about? Have you gone crazy or something?

Bridget: You come back, smash my picture, run roughshod through the living room, and then...wait a minute. You said something about me kissing your boyfriend. You saw us didn’t you? You say me and Cory kissing at Kirkland and Charlie’s wedding.

Michele: So you finally got your claws into him huh?

Bridget: How long have you really been back? You’ve been spying on us.

Michele: You’ve always wanted everything that I had. That’s why you got him drunk at the prom. It all started then didn’t it?

Bridget: I did some terrible things but…

Michele turns around, away from Bridget, and folds her arms.

Michele: You’ve always been jealous of me.

Bridget: I’m sorry about everything that I’ve done.

Michele (somewhat ignoring Bridget): And it ended with that car accident in front of the school.

Michele turns back around to face Bridget.

Michele: All because you were...and are...a selfish little bitch.

    PART 2

    HOSPITAL

Donna, Vicky, and Michael, face Stacey.

    Michael: Stacey.

Stacey: Where’s Lindsay? Do you know what’s wrong with her?

Donna: We don’t know anything. You have to check with John.

Stacey: Where is she? Where is my daughter?

Vicky (pointing to the room where Lindsay is): She’s in there. Michael: Jake’s in there, too.

    Donna: Michael!

    Michael: What?

Vicky: I bet you think this is your chance to make headway with Jake. After all, you are in love with him.

Stacey: Vicky this isn’t about you.

Donna: We’re not gonna let you destroy our family. Not this time.

Michael: Will you two cut it out?!

Stacey goes to where Lindsay, Jake and Gregory are as Donna turns to Michael.

Donna: You’re defending her now? After everything she’s done to us.

Michael: She doesn’t need to be attacked right now by you and Victoria. She’s obviously concerned about her daughter.

Vicky: Speaking of daughter, I’m gonna go see about Michele.

Donna: We’ll be right here honey.

Michael: I hope Lindsay’s okay. Stacey will be devastated if something was wrong her.

Donna looks at Michael wondering about the concern he is showing Stacey.

    ------------------------------

Meanwhile, Jake and Gregory are with Lindsay.

Jake: I called your mom. She’s on her way.

Lindsay: Why did you do that? I don’t want her to worry.

Gregory: You don’t have to be tough now. We’re all here for you.

    Stacey walks in.

Stacey: Lindsay baby. What happened? Are you okay?

    Lindsay: We...don’t know.

Stacey: Did they run any tests?

Gregory: We’re waiting for my dad to come back with the results.

Lindsay: Jake if you wanna go see about Michele, please go ahead.

Jake: Not until I know that you’re okay.

Lindsay: No. Go. I’ve got mom and Gregory here.

Jake: I’m not going anywhere. Not until John comes back with the results.

Stacey: Is it Bridget? What’s going on?

    Jake: No...it’s Michele.

Jake turns around, and John appears, which gets everyone’s attention, and they all focus on him.

Jake: What’s going with my daughter?

John: Lindsay are you okay with having Gregory and your mother and father here?

Gregory clenches Lindsay’s right hand, and Stacey clenches her left hand on the other side of the bed, seemingly bracing themselves for what John might say.

Lindsay: Umm sure. Just tell us what’s...going on.

John: We got the results of the tests. It’s not good.

    Lindsay: My God. Is it...cancer?

    -------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, Donna and Michael continue their conversation.

Donna: Stacey will be fine. Let her family take care of her.

Michael: Stacey and I were friends.

Donna: Even after she took Mikey from us, and represented Jamie in Steven’s custody case. I can’t see the concern that you have for her.

Michael: Donna what if it was Victoria or Marley in there? You would want someone to show you the same compassion.

Donna: Oh come on Michael. I have a heart. I don’t want anything bad to happen to Lindsay.

Michael: But you still hate Stacey.

Donna: This isn’t about her. It’s about our family. Our children, and grandchildren. I’m very concerned about Michele. Marley had a psychotic break after that fire and almost killed Victoria. I’m not gonna let the same thing happen to Michele and Bridget.

    -----------------------------------

Michele turns around, and walks to the counter slowly. She secretly grabs a pair of gauze scissors and starts digging them into her left arm until she draws blood.

Michele: I was going to Harvard, but of course, you wanted to sabotage that my stealing my acceptance letter. If I didn’t respond in time, I would have gone on their lonnnng waiting list.

Bridget: Look I know what I did was wrong, it took me a long time to forgive myself for it.

Michele: My brain injury; spiking Cory’s drink at the prom; kissing him at the wedding; the fact that I have to learn how to read again..and you somehow made it...about you forgiving yourself. How fitting.

Bridget: Cory helped me to come to terms with what happened.

Michele: Cory? Ha! Not only are you a selfish bitch, you’re a manipulative bitch, too.

Bridget: You have every right to be angry.

Michele: You’re damned right I do.

Bridget: But I’m not gonna sit by and watch you carry out whatever it is you’re plotting.

Michele: I don’t care what you try to do sis, because you are going to pay for what you’ve done.

    Bridget: You need help.

Michele: The only one who’s gonna need help...is you.

Vicky knocks on the door asking if Michele is in there and suddenly…

Michele: Bridget stop it! Mom help! Don’t hurt me!

Bridget: What? I’m not doing anything!

Michele races past Bridget, unlocks and opens the door, and hugs Vicky.

    Vicky: What’s going on?

Michele: Mom she tried to attack me with these scissors! She cut me.

Michele shows Vicky her left arm as Vicky turns around, with her back now to Bridget, which has blood on it.

    Bridget: She’s lying! I didn’t do that!

Michele: She’s still jealous of me just like before.

Bridget: My God she’s such a liar!

Vicky now turns to face Bridget...

    Vicky: Shut up!

Bridget: Mom please tell me you’re not falling for this act!

Vicky: You snuck up here to attack your sister! Have you lost your mind?

    Bridget: She’s the crazy one!

Vicky: How could you do this to your own sister?

    Vicky hugs Michele.

Vicky: It’s gonna be okay honey. I’ll make sure Bridget never hurts you again.

While Vicky is hugging Michele, Michele flashes a devious smile toward Bridget, and Bridget starts to realize just how unstable Michele is.

AT TOPS...Cass is talking to Frankie near the elevator…
Frankie: I’m worried about Aunt Sharlene.
    Cass: I could tell.
Frankie: I’ve never seen her like that before.
Cass: She’s been through a lot.
Frankie: I know. That’s why I’m gonna be there for her.
Cass: Do you think that John was telling the truth about not having an affair with Felicia?
Frankie: You know what, Cass, I believe him. It was over twenty years ago that it happened, but yet it’s still affecting them today.
Meanwhile, Steven is at the bar nearby, and he’s sending a text to Joy…
Steven’s Text: I wish u were here w/me. It’s been a great and wild day at my little brother’s wedding. Hope ur well. Talk 2u soon...hopefully.
    Kirkland approaches him.
Kirkland: You heard about what happened at the house?
    Steven: No. What?
Kirkland: Someone broke in. They’re at the police station now.
Steven: Wow I gotta get down there.
Kirkland: Guess you’re too busy texting that mystery girl you were telling Jake and me about. I see that twinkle in your eye. You like her a lot don’t you?
    Steven: Where my cousin?
Kirkland: Which one? You’re, like, related to everybody in this town. Gregory left with his mom.
Steven: So full of jokes on your wedding day. Your wife, my cousin, Charlie.
They both turn and look over at Charlie and Stacey.
    Charlie: Where did Lindsay go?
Stacey: She went with Gregory to take Sharlene home. You must feel like you’re on top of the world right now.
Charlie: I am. I really am. I’ve married the man I love.
Stacey: I’m so happy for you. Look at my niece.
Charlie: You know I always thought that you and Uncle Derek were gonna be married forever.
Stacey: Things just didn’t work out.
Charlie: Is it because...you’re still in love with Jake? Where did he go?
Stacey: I think someone broke in their house. He went to the police station with Vicky.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
POLICE STATION...The McKinnons, along with Rachel and Carl, have just discovered that the girl who ransacked the McKinnons house, is their daughter Michele.
Carl: Jake the results from your paternity test with Steven was cross referenced with Michele’s DNA.
Rachel: We stopped in Oakdale and Dr. Hughes ran the test. It came back positive. This girl is your daughter.
Jake, Vicky, Bridget, Cory and Toni are all stunned.
Vicky: This...this can’t be true. She was brain dead.
    Carl: Reginald’s lackey, Margaret Allen…
Jake: Margaret Allen? She used to work for Jordan Stark at Lumina. What did she do to…?
Rachel: She gave Michele a drug to make it appear that she was brain dead.
Vicky: We all thought she died. Totally something Reginald would orchestrate.
Carl: He’s the Head of the Lumina Foundation now. He had the resources to save Michele.
Jake: It’s starting to all make sense.
Michele: I promise I didn’t tell Grandpa Reginald about the key.
Vicky: Only the family knows where the spare key is.
Vicky puts her right hand near her mouth as her eyes well up as she slowly approaches Michele.
Cory: Mom, dad? Are you absolutely sure about this?
Rachel: Yes dear. She is Jake and Vicky’s daughter.
    Bridget: My God.
Vicky: Take those cuffs off of her.
Toni: So I take it you’re not pressing charges.
    Vicky: We’re taking...our daughter home.

    PART 2
    AT THE MCKINNONS…
Jake, Vicky, Bridget and Michele walk into a terribly messed up living room.
    Jake: What the…?
Vicky: Look at this place. This is horrible.
Jake walks over to the mantel and notices Bridget’s picture covered in cracked glass. He turns to his family to say something, but decides not to.
Bridget: Mom. There’s something I need to tell you.
Donna, Michael and Steven walk in and see the ransacked living room, and inadvertently interrupt Bridget. Donna steps over a coffee table leg trying to find a solid place to stand.
Donna: Victoria what happened here? Are you alright?
    Vicky: Yeah we’re...gonna be fine.
Donna: You all can’t stay here.
Vicky (looking around at the mess): You’re right about that.
Michael: Was there a tornado warning I didn’t receive?
Donna: There’s plenty of room at the mansion for all of you. We’ll hire cleaners to clean this and you can stay with your father and I in the meantime. Did they find the animal who did this?
    Michele steps up.
    Michele: That animal...is me.
Donna: Who are you? Why are you here? You should be in jail.
Michael: I take it the police are on their way.
Vicky: No we’re not pressing charges.
Donna: This girl ransacked this house. She needs to pay for that!
Michael: Why don’t you tell us who you are, and we’ll take you to the police station.
Jake: There’s not gonna be a need for any authorities Michael.
Steven: Do you know her or something? Mom?
Vicky looks at Michele with pride.
Vicky: Oh we know her. I carried her for nine months.
Michael: What are you talking about Vick?
    Jake: This girl is Michele.
    Donna: Michele? No. That’s impossible.
Vicky: Reginald got involved. He changed her face because he planned to keep her away from us.
Michael: You’re saying this girl is my granddaughter?
    Vicky: Yes.
Jake: Carl and Rachel got proof before they brought her home. She was being treated at the same clinic that Carl was. This is our little girl.
Bridget: So glad to have my sister back.
Bridget hugs Michele and Michele, who is facing Jake, notices Michele’s less than enthused look.
Bridget: Why did you do this? Why did you ransack the house?
Michele: I can’t explain all of that now.
Bridget: And you broke my picture.
Donna notices Bridget’s picture on the mantel covered in broken glass.
Donna: You did that? Why did you break Bridget’s picture?
Jake interjects because he has suspicions as to why Michele did what she did, but does not want them to be addressed now.
Jake: That’s not important right now. I just want to cherish that we have our daughter back. Our whole family’s back.
Michele: Dad is Kirkland coming here?
Jake: The reception should be coming to an end soon.
Vicky: I told him to stay there with Charlie.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TOPS...Mitch and Felicia are sitting at their table, and they turn their attentions to Kirkland and Charlie.
    Felicia: They look so happy.
Mitch: I remember when we first got married.
Felicia: The happiest day of our lives...that day.
Mitch: Second to the day we found out about children.
Felicia: Those kids are on top of the world today. It would seem that nothing can tear them apart.
Mitch: But it’s only the beginning for them. As you and I both know, it takes a lot to make a marriage work, and they will soon find out the same thing.
    Meanwhile, Grant talks to Kirkland...
Grant: You look really really happy son.
Kirkland: I am dad. I love her, and we’re married now. It’s like it’s not even real.
Grant: I’m glad that...Scott decided not to disrupt your wedding day.
Kirkland: He saw how happy that Charlie makes me. What happened between me and him is in the past. I’m not going back there, and I’m not going back to the guy that first came back to town.
Grant: I know I had a lot to do with that. All the tricks I pulled to get custody of you when you were young. I was too selfish to realize the toll it took on you.
Kirkland: Just like Scott’s in the past, so is all the things that you did. You have Charlie to thank for that.
Grant: I’m glad I’ve got my son back. There’s just one more thing missing in my life.
Grant looks over at Paulina and Jack.
Kirkland: Charlie and I have got a plane to catch soon for our honeymoon.
Frankie, Charlie, and Cass approach them.
Frankie: He’s right. Okay everyone! The bride and groom have to go on their honeymoooon!
An aisle is made with people on each side. Cass gives everyone rice as Frankie directs Kirkland and Charlie to go to the beginning of the aisle. Cass, Frankie and Felicia go to the end of the aisle next to the elevator.
    Cass: Come on kids!
Kirkland and Charlie walk arm in arm down the aisle as everyone lightly tosses rice over their heads. They get to the end near the elevators where Cass, Frankie and Felicia await them. Frankie and Felicia hug Charlie and Kirkland. Cass kisses Charlie on her left cheek and hugs her, and shakes Kirkland’s right hand. The elevator doors open, and Cass, Frankie, and Felicia’s joys quickly turn to horror.
Felicia: What the hell are you doing here?
    Cass: This can’t be.
Felicia, Cass, and everyone else, are shocked as Christy Carson and her son, Eric Stenbeck, have entered the reception.
Christy: Wow! Looks like we missed a wedding.

Party at the Corys Part 2
    Carl makes a cryptic revelation
Consultants:  ML Cooks and A. Washington Beeby

    PART 1

    CORY MANSION
Someone rings the doorbell and Carl, dressed in a white tuxedo, answers the door and Grant walks in.
    Carl:  Grant Harrison.
    Grant looks around.
Grant:  Where is everyone?   This doesn’t look like a party.  Am I early?
Carl:  No not at all.  As a matter of fact, your punctuality is very much appreciated.  You’re right on time.
Grant:  Is this some kind of game you’re playing because if it is…
Carl:  No Grant this is not a game, but I assure you, what I’m about to do will be a whole lot of fun.
    Grant:  And what is that?
Carl takes an envelope out of his inside jacket pocket.
Carl:  This...is about what you took from me twenty years ago.
Grant:  Are you still angry about Ryan?
Carl paces while he recalls his version of the events…
Carl:  At the train trestle.  Your mother lead everyone there.
Grant:  I thought Ryan was trying to…
Carl:  The whole thing was about you.
Grant:  I needed to know where Kirkland was.
Carl:  You shot my son in the back like a coward and killed him.  You took Ryan away from me; from Victoria; from Kirkland.
    Grant:  Kirkland had a father!
Carl:  You are no kind of father.  You took my son away from me in the most cowardly way, but I’ve had the distinct and utter pleasure...of keeping yours from you.
    Carl holds up the envelope.
    Carl:  This...is about your child.
    Grant:  Kirkland?
    Grant starts shaking his head.
Grant:  No.  No.  Are you trying to say that Ryan is Kirkland’s biological father?
Carl smiles deviously as Ryan, dressed in blue jeans and a buttoned up lumberjack shirt, watches, and only Carl sees him.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AT KIRKLAND’S SUITE...Kirkland is front of the mirror’s common area.  He flashes back to what Ryan told him.
    (EPISODE 215)
Ryan:  One lie is gonna turn into another and another, and it’s the lies that are gonna break up you up.  The longer you keep lying, the more you destroy the trust.  The best chance for you to save your marriage...is to tell Charlie the truth.
Kirkland flashes back to the present and he hears Charlie.
    Charlie:  Well...what do you think?
Kirkland turns around and sees his wife is a fitted forest green dress with white high heeled shoes, and her hair in a bun.
    Kirkland:  You look...stunning.
    Charlie smiles.
Charlie: I knew you’d like it.
Charlie walks up to him and they kiss.  Meanwhile, Kirkland has another flashback…
    (EPISODE 217)
Eric:  Then Charlie is gonna get a copy of this, and I don’t have to tell you what will happen after that.  Oh keep it.  I’ve got plenty of copies.  You could have another career on your hands is this went viral.  A lot of gay men, will want a taste of your frank.  I know I do...as often...as I can.
Eric unzips Kirkland’s pants, looks down, and looks back in Kirkland’s face.
Eric:  There we go.  I knew you wouldn’t disappoint.
Kirkland flashes back to the present.  He then faces Charlie
    Charlie:  Are you alright?
    Kirkland:  Yeah I’m...I’m great.
Charlie:  We gotta get to the Corys.
    Kirkland:  Right.
    --------------------------------------------------
    CORY MANSION
Cory is in his bedroom buttoning up his white dress shirt as someone knocks on the door knocks twice.
    Cory:  Come in Lizzie.
Elizabeth walks in and leaves the door ajar.  Elizabeth is wearing a light gray dress.
    Cory:  Hey.
    Elizabeth:  Are you ready?
    Cory:  I dunno.
Elizabeth:  I have to be honest with you.  I’m not.  I’m not ready to say goodbye to daddy again.
Cory:  I’m not either, but we don’t have much of a choice do we?
Elizabeth:  It’s like they’re giving up.  Especially mom.  She didn’t give up last time.  This time, it’s like she’s just throwing in the towel.
Cory:  Mom and Dr. Matthews did everything they could to help dad.  The tumor is just too aggressive.
Elizabeth:  He came back last time didn’t he?  Didn’t our brother Evan save his life?
Cory:  Lizzie give it up!  We can’t save dad this time!
Rachel peeks in and walks in.
Elizabeth:  I’m not so ready to give up on daddy like everyone else.
Rachel:  None of us are, but sometimes we have to accept what is.  Your father has an aggressive brain tumor, and nothing we’ve tried has worked.
Elizabeth:  Well you should try harder.  Seems like you’re just waiting for dad to die.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MEANWHILE, in the Cory Mansion living room, Carl walks to the bar and pours himself a drink while Grant follows closely, and so does spirit Ryan, unseen to Grant.
    Carl:  A drink?
Grant:  What the hell kind of sick game are you playing Carl?  You talk about my son and you want to drink to that?
Carl:  That’s because you think I’m talking about Kirkland.  I would never hurt that boy.  He turned out way more decent than you could ever dream to be.
Grant:  Kirkland is the only child I have.
Carl:  No Grant.  You have another child out there.
    Carl gives Grant the envelope.
    Grant:  What is this?
    Carl:  Go ahead.  Open it.

    PART 2
CAR...Kirkland is driving with Charlie in the front passenger’s seat.
Charlie:  I went shopping with Lindsay yesterday.
Kirkland:  Oh that sounds good.  How’d that go?
Charlie:  She picked this dress out for me.  I had no idea what I was gonna wear.  I wanted to choose something that you’d like, especially after that fight we had.
Kirkland:  I wouldn’t call it a fight.  A disagreement maybe.
Charlie:  Well I finally saw your point of view, and I love you for it.  I realized how much you love me.
Kirkland:  I...I do love you...so much.  You have brought so much positivity to my life.  I was full of hate and contempt for my dad before I came back.
Charlie:  Well if you’re trying to give me credit...don’t.  When I came back home I…
Charlie stops herself as if she’s going to say too much.
    Kirkland:  You what?
Charlie:  I had fences to mend with my mother.  She stayed away from Bay City after we thought she was killed by Fax Newman.  I only shared with you what my experiences were.
Kirkland:  And I appreciate you for that.  My dad and I are good now, and I do have you to thank for that.
    Charlie smiles.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Carl, with drink in hand, walks toward the double doors leading to the gazebo, while Grant, who is behind him, looks over the contents of the envelope…
Grant:  This says I’m a match for this person’s father?
    Carl:  You would be correct.
Grant:  But it doesn’t say who the person is.
    Carl:  Again, you’re correct.
Grant:  So you’re playing a game again.
Carl:  This is no game Grant.  You see, I don’t have much time left, and I thought I would leave you with a parting gift.
Grant:  You’re dying?  Ha!  Evil like you never dies.
    Carl:  This is it Grant.
Grant:  You know who my child is don’t you?
    Carl:  Yes..I most certainly do.
Grant:  Tell me where I can find them.
Carl:  Now that...I’m not going to do.
Grant:  How do I know this is even authentic?
Carl:  Go ahead Grant.  Verify it.  You’re gonna have to think long and hard about the possibility of this child.  I have to say...it gives me great satisfaction to do this after you took my son from me.  After you shot my son in the back on the train trestle!
Grant:  Tell me where my child is!
Carl laughs as to tell Grant that he is not going divulge any information.
Grant:  Tell me where my child is!
Toni Burrell, in police uniform, walks in with two other officers.
Toni:  Is everything okay in here Carl?  Is Grant threatening you?
Carl:  No...as a matter of fact he was just leaving.
Toni:  Come on Carl, I’d love to haul his ass in after everything he’s done.
Grant:  That’s fine.  I’ve got someplace else to go anyway.
Carl:  Good luck on your mission Grant.  It won’t be as difficult as you think.  Now get out.
Toni and the officers stare at Grant.
Toni (to one of the officers):  See that he gets out.
One of the officers escorts Grant out as Toni approaches Carl.
Toni:  We just came by to make sure everything was fine.
Carl:  Yes.  Everything...is as it should be.
Toni and the other officer leave the living room and Carl and then Ryan speaks.
Ryan:  You’ve been holding on to that for a long time haven’t you?
    Carl:  He’s your coward brother.
Ryan:  I guess this is your way of letting it go.
Carl:  I suppose you could say that.
Ryan:  I’m glad you did.  Even he deserves to know the truth.
Carl:  Did you really think I was going to tell him?  He has no idea how close he is to finding his child.  He’ll figure it out.
Ryan:  I get the feeling that the last thing you’re concerned about is Grant’s offspring.
Carl:  You’re exactly right.  I’m concerned about my children, especially Cory and Elizabeth.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Cory:  Lizzie stop it.
    Rachel:  That is not true!
Elizabeth:  You could have gone overseas.  You could have done something to stop the growth.
Rachel:  If there was another way don’t you think we would have found it and used it by now.  You have to accept it.  Carl is going to die.
Elizabeth:  Why?  Why are we going through this again?
    Rachel:  I don’t know honey.
Cory:  We gotta be strong Lizzie.  Dad doesn’t want us moping around feeling sorry for him.
Elizabeth:  Is that what you think I wanna do?  I just don’t think we’ve done enough to save him.
    Carl walks in.
Carl:  Let me speak to my daughter alone please.
Cory and Rachel look at each other...and walk out.
Carl:  Elizabeth...stop it right now!  Your mother did everything she could.  Dr. Matthews did everything he could.  There’s nothing else we can do to stop the tumor from growing.
    Elizabeth starts to cry.
Elizabeth:  No dad I dont wanna believe that!  I can’t bear to lose you again.
Carl:  You’re so young; so beautiful; so ready to take on the world.
    Elizabeth:  Not without you daddy.
Carl’s eyes start to well up.
Carl:  Yes my darling daughter...you can do it without me.   Your mother always used to tell how much you were like Ada.  So strong willed; so determined.  Rachel said Ada was her rock, and you’re gonna have to rely on your mother.
Elizabeth:  No daddy don’t talk like that!

    PART 1
    CORY MANSION
Carl walks slowly into the living room, and he looks around, as if to take in as much ambiance of the place as he can, because he doesn’t have much time left.  Rachel walks in and observes her husband with his back turned, but Carl feels her presence.
Carl:  This living room...this place.  So much has happened in here.  I’ve had the privilege to live in it.
Rachel:  It was meant.  You were destined to be here.  Everything has come to this.
Carl:  Tomorrow night, I’ll announce to all of our family and friends, that I have a brain tumor.
    Rachel massages his shoulders.
Rachel:  I know you do meditation, but I’ve never seen you this nervous.
Carl:  I’m not trepidatious about me.  I’m just thinking about the children.
Rachel:  The children are going to be okay.  They’re gonna lean on each other.
Carl:  They’re all going to need you.
Rachel:  And you can rest assured I’ll be here for them...all of them.
Carl:  They’re all on my mind, but Devin Lucas is the one I need you to...love up on.  You know?
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    AT THE CENTER…
Cory and Elizabeth are sitting at a table sipping coffees.
    Cory:  One more day.
    Elizabeth:  Don’t remind me.
Cory:  At least they told us first.
Elizabeth:  It doesn’t hurt any less.  I can’t bear the thought of losing daddy again.
Cory:  Neither can I.  We gotta get through it somehow.
Elizabeth:  Daddy came back to us last time but this seems like it’s final.
Cory:  Why did this have to happen again?
Elizabeth:  If you can answer why the sky’s blue then you can answer that.
    Cory:  We gotta...stick together.
Devin Lucas walks up to them.
    Devin Lucas:  I agree.
    Cory:  And who are you?
Elizabeth:  Dad didn’t tell you huh?
    Cory:  Tell me what?
Elizabeth:  This is our big brother Devin Lucas Hutchins.

    CHRISTY’S SUITE
    Grant walks in.
Christy:  Grant what do you want?  And don’t forget to invite yourself in.
Grant:  You are really one piece of work aren’t you?
Christy:  I’ve been called worse I’m sure.
Grant:  You forget who’s paying for this suite.  I should be able to walk in anytime I want.
Christy:  And I can go to the police anytime I want with the dossier that proves you bankrolled Evan Frame’s reign of terror.
Grant:  You are really spoiling my mood.
Christy:  Oh here we go again.  Let me guess, Paulina left the dashing, handsome detective Jack Snyder...for you.
    Grant smiles.
Grant:  That day is closer than you could ever imagine.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------
    PAULINA’S HOUSE
Paulina opens the door and sees someone holding a bouquet of flowers in front of his face.
Paulina:  Hmmm who could that be?
Jack moves the roses and smiles at Paulina.
Jack:  Is the lady of the house in?
Paulina:  It depends on who those beautiful roses are for.
Jack:  Alright you got me.  They’re for you.
    Paulina:  Thank yoouuu.
Jack gives them to Paulina, and he follows her inside as she places the roses in a vase with water.
Jack:  There’s something I came here for.
    Paulina:  Hmmm for what?
Jack:  I was wondering if you wanted to have breakfast with me tomorrow morning.
Paulina:  I think that could be arranged, but who says breakfast has to be in the morning?
Jack:  What other part of the day did you have in mind?
Paulina wraps her arms around Jack and looks up into his eyes.
Paulina:  Eating is good in all parts of the day.
    Jack:  Eating out you mean?
Paulina:  Well...since you mentioned breakfast and all that, I was hoping for a nice, juicy piece of sausage.
Jack:  Is it the kind that...plumps when it cooks.
Paulina:  I used to co-own a restaurant.  I learned a thing or two about prepping meals.
Jack:  Any place you’re at is a nice place to...eat out.
    They kiss passionately.

Kirkland walks in and calls out for Grant. “Daaad ya here?”  He walks to the back and doesn’t see his father.  He turns to leave but notices something on Grant’s desk.
    Kirkland:  What’s this?
There is something on the ledger that catches his eye.

    PART 2
Jack and Paulina lie in bed.
Paulina:  This gets better and better.
Jack:  I’ll never get tired of it.
    Paulina:  Reminds me of…
Jack:  That was a long time ago.  This feels different.  More mature.
Paulina:  More than we were back then.  You know I hate that...that you are going through a separation with Carly.  I feel like I might be responsible.
Jack:  Look, don’t start that.  Carly and I were having problems long before we…
    Paulina:  Before we what?
Jack:  Fell in love again.  Truth is, Paulina, I always loved you.  Funny how we found each other again.
Paulina:  You found me fighting with my sister in the Bay City Center fountain.
Jack:  It seems like everything came back.  Everything I felt back then.
    --------------------------------------------
Christy:  You’ve been saying for the last fifty years it seems.  Do you still have all of your teeth?
Grant:  Not even your snarky little jokes are gonna hamper my mood.
Grant picks up the jump drive and looks at it with confidence.
Grant:  Jack and Paulina better enjoy every little moment they have together, because I’m about to blow them to bits, and claim the woman I’ve always loved.
    ----------------------------------------------
Paulina:  Me, too.  It was like time fast forwarded.  Don’t get me wrong.  I have two wonderful children and I had a great husband, but I’m here...now....with you.
Jack:  I don’t regret anything that happened between now and then, and I don’t regret anything that’s happening now.
    Paulina:  What about Carly?
Jack:  Carly gave me two beautiful children and a great ride for the time that she did, but it seems that it’s over.
    Paulina:  A great ride huh?
    Jack smiles.
    Paulina:  How about this rollercoaster?
    They kiss passionately.
    -----------------------------------------------
Christy:  I’ll believe it when I see it.
Grant:  Oh you’re going to see it alright.  You’re gonna see Paulina on my arm.  She and Jack will be history after I show him what’s on this drive.
Grant gets a text from Kirkland that reads:  “Can I see you tomorrow?  We need to talk.”, and his mood changes a bit.
    Christy:  Who was that?
Grant:  That was my son.  He says he needs to talk  to me.  I hope everything is okay with him.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------
    KIRKLAND’S SUITE
Kirkland puts his cell phone in his pocket, walks up the door of his suite, and flashes back…
    (EPISODE 215)
Ryan:  One lie is gonna turn into another and another, and it’s the lies that are gonna break up you up.  The longer you keep lying, the more you destroy the trust.  The best chance for you to save your marriage...is to tell Charlie the truth.
    Kirkland nods his head.
Kirkland:  I’m gonna tell her.  I’m gonna go tell Charlie everything....right now.
Kirkland flashes back to the present, takes a deep breath, and inserts his key into the slot.  He enters and faces Charlie.
    Kirkland:  Hey babe.
    Charlie:  Hi.
The two stay quiet waiting for the other to talk, and Charlie breaks the silence.
Charlie:  Look I’m sorry.  I’ve been thinking all day and...you were right.
    Kirkland:  About Eric?
Charlie:  You are just trying to...be a good husband to me, and I’m grateful and I appreciate it.
Kirkland:  Yeah...I love you so much Charlie.
Charlie:  I know...more so now than ever.
    Kirkland:  Babe it’s....something I need to…
Charlie:  No...there’s nothing you need to do.  All I want you to do is let me make it up to you.
Charlie kneels down, unbuckles his pants and…
    Kirkland:  There’s something I...I…
Charlie stops Kirkland by starting fellatio, then she rises up.
    Charlie:  Make love to me.
    -------------------------------------------------------
    Cory and Devin Lucas meet.
Cory:  So you’re the famous Devin Lucas?
Devin Lucas:  The one and only.
Elizabeth:  Well I kinda always wanted a big brother.  I didn’t know Ryan or Evan.
Devin Lucas:  I didn’t know any of you.

Stacey: Look at my niece. You make a beautiful bride. Come on Lindsay. It’s almost time for us to take our places.
Someone knocks on the door, and Lindsay opens it.
    Lindsay: Uncle Cass.
    Cass: Hey there.
    Frankie: Hey honey.
Cass turns his attention to Charlie.
Cass: Oh my goodness. Do I really have to give you away?
Charlie: I only got one dad, so yes you do.
Stacey: Lindsay and I are gonna go.
Cass takes a deep breath after Stacey and Lindsay leave.
Cass: It’s almost time kid. We’re just waiting for Kirkland.

    KIRKLAND’S SUITE
Kirkland has his pants on, but is barechested when he flashes back to the text he got from Scott Granger, Jr. stating that Scott was coming to Bay City. He’s on the phone.
Kirkland: Dad I’m running a little behind, but I’m definitely coming. Okay.
Then he goes to answer a knock at the door. Steven walks in.
Steven: Bro we gotta get to the church, and you’re not even dressed yet.
Kirkland: Dude relax. I just gotta put my shirt and tie on.
    Steven: As I’ve noticed.
Kirkland: Do you have the rings?
    Steven: Yes.
Kirkland: I just got off the phone with my dad. You’re acting just like him.

    GRANT’S HOUSE
Grant walks into the living room in a full tuxedo and Christy is there.
Christy: My my don’t you look handsome.
Grant: I’m standing up for my son at his wedding. I have to look my best.
Christy: Gosh can’t you take a compliment?
Grant: Listen to me. We’re not friends. This is a business arrangement. You help me, and I help you. That’s how it goes.
Grant leaves and Christy reaches into her bag, grabs her phone, and pulls up the calendar. She looks at one particular date highlighted.
    Christy: That’s the day.
Then she looks up and sees Eric.
    Eric: What day is that?
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kirkland walks out of the bathroom dressed and ready.
    Steven: How you feelin?
Kirkland: I’m ready to marry the woman I love. Let’s go.
Steven opens the door, and there is Scott Granger, who has arrived from Genoa City.
Scott: Are you sure I can’t convince you not to go through with this wedding?

    PART 2
Steven looks back and forth at Scott and Kirkland.
    Steven: Hey Scott.
    Scott: Steven how are you?
Steven: I think...you two need to talk. I’ll be downstairs in the car.
Steven leaves and Scott shuts the door.
Scott: Wow that’s your brother? He’s hot.
    Kirkland: He’s straight.
Scott: That’s what they all say, but anyway.
Kirkland: So you came all the way to Bay City to stop me from marrying Charlie? Cuz you’re not gonna do it.
Scott: Kirkland seriously? Why are you getting married to Charlie when you don’t even love her?
Kirkland: I love Charlie with all my heart, something you don’t seem to have a clue about.
Scott seems stung by Kirkland’s last statement.
Scott: I don’t have a clue about love? That’s what we had. You’re the only person I’ve ever loved. You and I were in love. How do you think it makes me feel to watch you marry someone else? I think you’re lying to yourself.
Kirkland: Lying? That’s all you’ve ever done Scott since you got back to Genoa City. You lied to Rafe. You’re lying to your mother. You’re lying to...what’s her name? Vandalism?
Scott: Vandalynn. Her name is Vandalynn.
Kirkland: Isn’t that the girl you slept with that…?
Scott: You can say it. It broke us up. I messed it up, and all this time I’ve been trying to figure out ways to make it up to you. I’ve been looking for you. Rafe is not you. I miss you Kirkland don’t you understand? I miss what we had back in school.
Kirkland: It was great, and I don’t regret it.
    Scott goes closer to Kirkland.
Scott: And we can have it again. You don’t love Charlie the way you love me. I know it. I see it.
Kirkland: You know when I...came back home. I was so angry. I was angry about the way we broke up. I was angry at my dad for what he did to my mom in the past. During all that time I was searching for ways to stick it to him, so I ran against him for mayor.
Scott: Is that when you slept with that bartender at the GCAC?
Kirkland: That was all part of me getting information on my dad. I already knew Charlie back from when were kids but, we got closer, because she was angry at her mom and...she managed to forgive her, and she taught me the power of forgiveness. I felt so stuck in my anger, and Charlie helped me out of all of that. Her love changed me. Her love makes me a better man. That’s why I’m marrying her.
    Scott slowly backs away.
Scott: But you haven’t told her...about us...have you?
Kirkland: No. I haven’t told her about my past, and she hasn’t told me much about hers. Like why she dropped out of school. All I know is that I love her, and she loves me.
Scott: We felt that way about each other once. We were in school, and we had a relationship. All we knew was that we loved each other.
Kirkland: I did love you, but I’ve moved on. I wish everybody could feel the way I feel right now about the woman I’m going to marry. One day, Scott, you are going to meet someone who blows you away so much that you just want to be a better person. You’re gonna realize that you’re stuck.
    Scott: I’m not stuck.
Kirkland’s eyes well up with tears, and puts his hands on Scott’s shoulders.
Kirkland: You...are...stuck. Stuck in the past; stuck in what we had; stuck in what we used to be. I’m not anymore because of Charlie. I want you to be happy Scotty. I want you to feel what I feel now.
    Scott starts to cry.
Scott: Stop this! I’m never gonna find anyone like you.
Kirkland: Yes you are. You’re gonna find someone better than me. Someone who makes you a better man.
    Scott: She...really makes you happy.
Kirkland: Yes man. Yes. I don’t know where I’d be without her. I want you to find that happiness, too. Come here man.
Kirkland embraces Scott in a long hug.
    Scott: Congratulations.
Kirkland: You will find it. I promise you.
Scott slowly backs away and then leaves.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Christy: What are you doing here? I told you to wait for me.
Eric: Is it so bad for me to want to spend some extra time with my mom.
Christy gets up and hugs him.
Christy: I’m sorry son. I miss you, too, but we’ve gotta stay focused.
Eric: So you went and had it done.
    Christy: Yes I did.
Eric: And it has something to do with that day you were talking about.
Christy: That’s when it’s gonna have its biggest effect.
Eric: Anything I can do to help?
Christy: You being here is the biggest help of all.
    Eric: Where’s Grant?
Christy: He went to his son’s and Charlie’s wedding.
Eric flashes back to (EPISODE 155) when he served Charlie a latte.
Eric: Caramel latte for the pretty lady?
Charlie: Thank you. How much is it?
    Eric: It’s on the house.
Eric then notices Charlie’s engagement ring.
Eric then flashes back to the present.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
    CHURCH
Grant is at the altar with Kirkland and Steven as the guests start filing in.
Grant: What took you so long?
    Steven: Traffic was backed up.
Grant: This doesn’t have anything to do with Scott Granger does it? If he tries to pull anything he’s gonna be sorry.
Kirkland: I don’t think he is dad. I think it sunk in for him that I love Charlie and I’m gonna be with her for the rest of my life.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, Cass and Charlie are in a room together. Cass is dressed in a tuxedo, and Charlie in her wedding dress.
Cass: Look at this. After everything that you, your mother, and I have been through as a family, you’re getting married.
Charlie: I was too young, but I sensed trepidation with you and mom because of my heart condition.
Cass: We really didn’t know how long we’d have you. You’ve grown up, you went to school, and you’re going back to school.
    Charlie: Yes dad of course.
Cass: Lila texted me and said that she and Jasmine are gonna send your wedding gift soon. She said she was sorry she couldn’t make it.
Charlie: I know she wasn’t feeling well and Jasmine wanted to be with her. I wish they were here.
Cass: Lila was a mother figure for you.
Charlie: Yep, but we got mom back now.
Cass: And it’s time for you to get married.
    Charlie: Daddy.
    Cass: Yes.
Charlie: Thank you for showing me how a man should treat a woman. Thanks for being the greatest dad ever.
Cass smiles and hugs his daughter.
Cass: You’re welcome honey. Kirkland’s waiting for his beautiful bride.

    KIRKLAND/CHARLIE
Kirkland is on his landline phone in his suite with Charlie, who is at Stacey’s apartment on her cell phone. Kirkland is lying down with the phone to his left ear, looking up at the ceiling, while Charlie is lying down on Stacey’s couch also looking up at the ceiling.
Kirkland: I can’t believe this is actually happening.
Charlie: I can’t either. After everything we went through to get here. This time tomorrow we’re going to be married.
Kirkland: And we’ll be on our way to our honeymoon. Are you sure you wanna spend the rest of your life with me?
Charlie: Why do you ask that?
Kirkland: After all, I’m Grant Harrison’s son.
Charlie: Well that’s a deal breaker. Guess we can’t get married.
    Kirkland: Don’t kid like that.
Charlie: Come on babe. You’re nothing like your father.
Kirkland: Sometimes I wonder how much like my dad I really am.
    --------------------------
    GRANT/CHRISTY
Grant walks into his living room and Christy is sitting on the couch wearing a sweatsuit with her feet up on the coffee table holding a glass of wine.
Grant: Put your feet down! That table is an antique.
    Christy: Wow. Sorry.
As she is about to put her glass on the table, Grant gives her a coaster to put the glass on.
Christy: My God. Take the broomstick out of your ass.
Grant: If you’re going to live in my house you’re gonna follow my rules.
Christy: What am I? Sixteen? Stop treating me like a lazy teenager. Need I remind you that I’m helping you get Paulina back. I would appreciate some gratitude.
Grant: So why hasn’t she come running to my door yet?
Christy: These things take time. You need to be patient.
    -----------------------
    JACK/PAULINA
At Bay City Center, Paulina is sitting at a table with a couple of shopping bags on the ground while she answers her cell phone.
Paulina: Hey honey what’s going on? I’m fine, just went shopping for Kirkland’s wedding tomorrow. A little retail therapy you know? When are you coming to visit? We’d love to see you. Oh Remy I’m not lonely, I have family here. We’ve been over this, and I know I’m not being unfaithful to Joe if I meet someone else.
Paulina looks up and there is Jack with a cup of coffee.
Paulina: Honey I gotta go I’ll speak to you later love you.
    Jack: Anybody sitting here?
    Paulina: No...no sit down.
Jack: Nice to see a friendly face.
Paulina: You look like you just lost your best friend or something.
    Jack: Just hard at work.
    Paulina: Long evening?
    Jack: And unsuccessful.
    Paulina: What do you mean?
Jack: Reginald Love is gonna get away with his crimes again.
    --------
    DONNA/REGINALD/MICHAEL/ALLEN
On Cecile’s plane, Donna, Michael and Allen have confronted Reginald, who is waiting to be taken to Tanquir.
Michael: You’re not gonna get a straight answer from Reginald. Why don’t we just pound it out of him?
Reginald: What the hell do you think you’re gonna do? You’re always gonna be the stable boy that my daughter made the terrible mistake of marrying.
Michael: You better not show your ugly face in Bay City again.
Allen: Because you’ll be leaving in a body bag.
Reginald: Donna do you feel the same way?
Donna: Allen and Michael I want you two to leave.
Michael: I’m not leaving you alone with…
Donna: No. I wanna have a word with my father.
    Allen: We’ll be right outside.
Donna: I’ll be fine, nephew. This has been long overdue, besides, nobody’s going anywhere until Cecile gets back.
    -----
    CECILE/CASS
At Cass’s house, Cecile is outside the front door with Cass inside, shocked at Cecile’s arrival.
Cecile: Aren’t you gonna let me in? It’s gettin’ windy out.
Cass: Not if it’s gonna blow you away.
Cecile walks in anyway and Cass shuts the door behind her.
Cecile: Well what I have to tell you is too important for me to just turn back around and leave.
Cass: Put all your love potions on the table.
Cecile: Oooh this is way more lasting than a concoction. You really need to hear this.
CAMERA PAN ON CASS...SLOW FADE TO THEME SONG

    -----------------------PART 2-----------------------
Jack: You know I can’t go into details about police business, but we had him. We had him and we couldn’t hold him. He slipped right through our fingers, just like James Stenbeck used to.
Paulina: I heard about him, especially what he did to Carly years ago.
Jack: Turning her old was just the start. Stenbeck was a worldwide criminal who mostly got away with all the crap he did.
Paulina: Well they all pay one way or the other.
Jack: Enough about me. How are you?
Paulina: Well...I had a breakthrough type of talk with Kirkland the other night.
Jack: Were you and he not speaking or something?
Paulina: He came to the house, and he brought up the accident that happened sixteen years ago. I...I was high and I got behind the wheel...and I hit him. I nearly killed him.
Jack: Did he hate you for it?
Paulina: Not at all. In fact it was just the opposite.
    Jack: Wow.
Paulina: You see if I hadn’t hit him, the doctors would never have found the aneurysm that was in his brain. So he thanked me for saving his life. He says if I didn’t hit him, he wouldn’t be here to marry Charlie tomorrow. He actually invited me to the wedding.
Jack: Oh. Who are you going with?
    Paulina: Nobody.
Jack: I’m not busy. I’ll go with you.
Paulina: Wow..um...maybe that’s not a good idea. I don’t wanna cause any more trouble between you and Carly.
Jack: Paulina I will pick you up at eleven.
    Paulina: Um...okay.
    -------
Charlie: You’ve changed a lot since you came back home.
Kirkland: So you’re saying that I was like my father.
Charlie: You were angry with your dad when you returned to Bay City, and you forgave him.
Kirkland: I have you to thank for that. You helped me to be a better man.
Charlie: I love you so much. There’s no doubt in my mind that I wanna marry you.
Kirkland sits up and sees a text on his cell phone from Scott Granger that says “I’m coming to Bay City.”
Kirkland: You really have no idea how much you’ve changed my life.
Charlie: We’ve overcome a lot of obstacles to get here. My dad being one of them.
Kirkland: He was dead set against our engagement.
Charlie: But old stubborn Cass Winthrop came around eventually.
    -------------
Cass: Oh you’re gonna apologize for everything you’ve done.
Cecile: For what? I haven’t done anything wrong. This is so right.
Cecile gives Cass an envelope and Cass smells it.
Cecile: Oh don’t be silly. There’s no love potion in it.
Cass finally opens it and is shocked at what the contents say.
    Cass: This...this isn’t possible.
Cecile: Oh it’s not only possible, it’s the truth.
Cass: No it’s not. It’s another one of your schemes.
Cecile: Why would I fly all the way to Bay City for a lie?
Cass just gives her a disbelieving look.
Cecile: It can’t be for money. I’m the Queen of Tanquir, and no I don’t want you to be my love slave again, although the thought of that is pretty nice.
Frankie walks in as she wraps and ties her robe.
Frankie: Cass I heard voices. Is everything…Cecile?
Cass: I said the same thing.
Frankie: What are you doing here?
    Cass: This.
Cass gives Frankie the paper that he took out of the envelope that Cecile gave him, and she reads it also. Frankie shakes her head in disbelief.
Frankie: No...no this can’t be true. I had a DNA test run.
Cecile: Behind Cass’s back no less.
Frankie: If this is one of your hare-brained schemes, you can forget it.
Cecile: What you found, Frankie, was a rigged test result, thanks to Reginald Love. It looked like Maggie was Sandy Cory’s daughter.
Frankie: I’m sure you had something to gain out of that.
Cecile: I sure did. I needed Maggie’s trust fund money so I could become the queen again.
Frankie: How could you keep this from Cass all these years? Why did you decide to tell him now? I bet it all has something to do with you right?
Cecile: I don’t give a rat’s tush what you think about me Frankie. The important thing is, is that Cass knows the truth now. Maggie is Cass’s biological daughter. Not to mention she hates me now, and she changed her last name to Winthrop. Now if you’ll excuse me, my plane is waiting to take me back...to my kingdom.
    ----
Grant: It isn’t happening fast enough?
Christy: Boy this really has become an instant gratification society hasn’t it?
Grant: Time for me to take things into my own hands.
Christy: You really want Paulina to hate you huh? You can’t go to her with that evidence. You know food tastes better when it’s marinated, and cooked slowly.
Grant: I’m talking about Paulina, not meal preparation.
Meanwhile, Paulina sits on her couch and smiles as she flashes back to Jack telling her he’s going to pick her up at eleven to go to Kirkland’s wedding.
Christy (Voiceover): The point is, you have to let things take their course. You can’t just go to her with guns-a-blazing. You have to let Paulina need you, and eventually she will.
    ----------------------
Donna: You had that gun sent to me didn’t you? You had the Harbor Club burned down, too right? Why?
Reginald: Because I had to remind you, dear daughter of mine, that I am your father, and you’ll never be rid of me. Although I have to say, you gave it your best effort.
Donna: What kind of father are you? All you’ve ever done was try to control our lives. Mine, Nicole’s and Peter’s.
Reginald: Believe it or not, everything I’ve done for you is out of love. Michael was, and is, still wrong for you. Nicole got pregnant when she was sixteen, and Peter needed to learn how to be a man. I had to step in as their parent.
Donna: And you ruined our lives. You tried to stop my wedding to Michael at the courthouse; Nicole turned to drugs after you made her think that her baby was dead, and you kept her locked up in a mental institution after she killed Jason Frame; Peter spent a good part of his life trying to earn your favor, and you never gave it to him.
Reginald: Everything I’ve done, and will continue to do, was, and will be, for the good of the family.
Donna: What do you mean ‘will do’?
Reginald: Wouldn’t you like to know? You’ll just have to wait and see.
Cecile enters the plane with two uniformed men.
Cecile: Please escort this woman off of the plane please.
    Donna: What is it?
The men grab her and begin to take Donna off the plane.
Donna: You’re not gonna get away with it daddy!
    Reginald watches and smiles.

    Rachel discovers Carl’s secret

    Written by: C. Nathaniel Richardson

    CORY MANSION

    A fully dressed Carl
buttons up the last button on his shirt, then he looks over at a sleeping Rachel covered in a blanket. He walks over to her, kisses her on her forehead, and leaves. Rachel, however, was not sleeping. She immediately opens her eyes and throws the covers off of her. Not only is Rachel not sleeping, she’s fully clothed. Rachel stands up and flashes back…

    (EPISODE 181)

Rachel: I wonder how she got away from us.
    Carl: We were careful.
Rachel: We left her only for a few minutes.
Carl: It reminds me of when you and I took care of Perry. He was an adventurous lad. We had to watch him every single second. If we turned our backs, he would disappear.

Rachel flashes back to the present. She notices Carl’s laptop open. She turns it on and sees the “transfer complete” notification. She then notices an empty container of pills in a wastebasket. She picks it up and notices that it was prescribed to Carl Hutchins.

Rachel: I’m gonna find out what’s going with you Carl.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Later...AT A HOSPITAL OUTSIDE OF BAY CITY..

In an exam room, Carl is connected to an IV talking on his cell phone.

Carl: My darling daughter. I have never called Frankie that. How’s school? I was wondering if you could come home. I’m throwing a dinner party. A family gathering. Good. I’ll see ya then my dear.

    Russ
walks in looking at his phone, which has Bay City General Hospital’s job site on it, but he presses a button, the screen goes black, and he puts it in his pocket.

Carl: Dr. Russell Matthews. Anything interesting on your phone?

Russ: I could have asked you the same thing.

Carl: I was talking to my daughter Elizabeth. I’m having a dinner party, and you’re welcome to come.

    Russ: I don’t know if I…

Carl: It wasn’t a request Russell. I’m gonna need you there. Everyone else is gonna be there. As soon as press send on my phone, everyone should have their invitation.

    Russ: Including Sharlene?

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

    HUDSONS HOUSE

    Sharlene
opens the door and Frankie walks in.

    Sharlene: Hey you.

    Frankie: Hi.

They hug and Sharlene shuts the door.

Sharlene: I haven’t talked to you in a while honey. How are you?

Frankie: I dunno. I mean I should be fine right? My daughter’s a newlywed. Cass and I got back together, but for some reason all the pegs don’t quite fit.

    Sharlene: Is it Christy?

Frankie: Surprisingly no, not this time.

Sharlene: Wow you seem really bothered by this. I know what time it is for you.

    Frankie: Chamomile please.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

    AT THE BLAKE’S

    Felicia
is sitting at her laptop desk in the living room staring at the wall, and Mitch walks in from the bedroom.

    Mitch: You barely slept honey.

Felicia: Wow how can you tell?

Mitch: Not only that, you’ve been sitting at that desk and your laptop’s not even open.

Mitch walks over and massages her shoulders.

Mitch: You made a hard decision, but you can’t let it eat you up. Your business choices have nothing to do with your friendship with Rachel. She’ll understand.

Felicia: I didn’t want to hurt anyone. KBAY offered such a sweet deal. I couldn’t say no Mitch. They’re going to do a worldwide marketing campaign. That could lead to more movies and more book deals.

    Mitch: But…

Felicia: I hated turning down Matt and Amanda. I remember when they were kids. I remember Mac, you know? Now they’re struggling to keep his company afloat.

Mitch: Maybe it’s...time for them to move on.

Felicia: What are you talking about? Mac built that company from the ground up.

Mitch: I know, but all good things…

Felicia: I can’t believe you would even say something like that. Rachel is one of my best friends. When she finds out what I’ve done, she’s gonna deeply hurt.

Felicia gets up from the chair and walks away.

Mitch: Listen why don’t we go to the Center for a while. Might make you feel a little better to get some fresh air.

    Rachel puts it in park.

Rachel: A hospital? What’s Carl car doing here?

    PART 2

Sharlene and Frankie are sipping teas in Sharlene’s living room.

Frankie: This might have been what I needed.

Sharlene: I love chamomile tea. Calms my nerves. So what’s got you all worked up?

Frankie: Cass, Charlie and I just came from the Corys.

    Sharlene: You saw Rachel?

Frankie: Yes we...we went over the accounts of that night...that night of Josie’s shower.

Sharlene: The night you were attacked by Fax Newman. It really is a miracle that you’re here. Sometimes I still can’t believe I went out with that man. All the while he was a cold blooded killer.

Frankie: I’m kinda glad we...all got to hear it. It’s all out in the open; all on how I survived that night.

Sharlene: You know Josie was very devastated about what happened. She loves you very much.

Frankie: Charlie took it surprisingly well.

Sharlene: It’s really the first time you’ve told her about it right?

Frankie: Yeah but she asked an interesting question.

    Sharlene: About?

Frankie: Where I’ve been all this time? I stayed away from Bay City for years.

Sharlene: Well Cass decided to marry Lila. You stayed away because you wanted Charlie and Cass to be happy.

Frankie: There are some things that I left out.

Sharlene: Frankie are you in some kind of trouble?

Frankie: No, nothing like that. I didn’t tell them that I planted that bogus story about Anne O’Donnell representing Newton Fairchild.

Sharlene: Why did you do that? What are you hiding from your family?

Frankie and Sharlene get alerts on their phones and they pick them up.

Sharlene: This looks like an invite.

    Frankie: I got one, too.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

    AT THE CENTER

Mitch and Felicia walk slowly arm in arm…

Mitch: See they got the roof open. Smell that fresh spring air.

Felicia: Yeah, you always had that knack.

    Mitch: For what?

Felicia: For making me feel better. I can’t lie though. That was one of the toughest decision I've ever had to make.

Mitch: And you don’t have to explain it to anyone. Not me, not Rachel, nobody. Business is business.

Felicia: A part of me does hope she’ll understand.

They stop walking and Mitch faces Felicia…

Mitch: Stop worrying your pretty little head about it. I have a feeling everything’s gonna work out the way it’s supposed to.

They kiss. Meanwhile, from a short distance, Christy
watches them. Suddenly, their cell phones chime and they look at them.

Felicia: I’m invited to a party.

    Mitch: So am I.

Felicia: You got the same thing?

Mitch: Carl is throwing a party at the Corys.

    -----------------------------------------------------

    Russ sighs.

    Carl: What’s going on?

Russ: I um...saw the results of your last MRI.

Carl: Let me guess, it’s growing.

    Russ: Yes...really fast.

Carl: So how much...time do I have left?

Russ: Have you gotten all of your affairs in order? For your children? Your wife?

Carl: How much time...Russell? Months? Weeks? Days?

Russ: I can’t narrow that down.

Carl: We all know I’m dying of a brain tumor that’s growing every day.

Russ: Carl I’m sorry. I really wish there was more we could do.

Carl: I know what you can do for me. You and Rachel used to be pretty close.

    Russ: We were married.

Carl: Look after her. Please. She’s gonna need your friendship after I’m gone.

Russ nods his head in agreement.

Russ: I’ve heard a lot about you Carl.

Carl: I surmise that most of it is negative.

Russ: Yes mostly, but that’s not what I’ve seen from you. You’re nothing what people said you are.

Carl: Rachel changed my life. She made me a better person.

Russ: Funny thing is that’s not the Rachel I used to know.

Carl: She’s a devoted mother, friend and wife.

Russ: I’m sure she told you the reason she and I got married.

    Carl: Jamie.

Russ: I thought he was my son, but he turned out to be Steve Frame’s.

    Carl: Did you love her?

Russ: I’m always gonna care about Rachel. I’ll...I’ll honor your wishes.

Suddenly, Rachel appears and walks in.

Rachel: Russ? Carl? What wishes are you two talking about?

    The two men stay silent.

Rachel: Russ it’s been years since I’ve seen you.

Russ: You’re still as beautiful as ever Rachel.

Rachel: Why is my husband hooked up to these tubes?

Russ: Maybe I...should leave you two alone. Carl, it’s time.

    Rachel: Time for what?

Russ walks out and shuts the door.

    Carl: Darling.

Rachel: It’s back isn’t it? The tumor’s back.

    HOSPITAL OUTSIDE OF BAY CITY

    Russ Matthews
is removing Carl’s I.V. as he and Rachel prepare to leave. Rachel is off in a close corner by herself. Russ joins her. Rachel doesn’t face him.

    Russ: Are you okay?

Rachel: I just found out my husband is dying. As well as can be expected I guess.

    Russ: I’m so sorry Rachel.

Rachel turns around and sighs nervously.

Rachel: It’s not your fault. I’m sure you did everything you could to save him.

Russ: We did. I just wanted to make him comfortable.

Rachel: These are Carl’s last days. I will make them as comfortable for him as possible. Thank you for everything.

    Russ turns toward Carl.

Russ: So I’ll see you here next week.

Carl turns Russ’s attentions to something on the bed.

Russ: You removed your chemo port.

Carl: No. We won’t be returning to this facility.

Russ shakes his head in pensive agreement.

Russ: So you two are headed back home?

Carl: Yes. Did you get the invite?

    Russ: Your dinner party?

Rachel: He’s gonna make the announcement there.

Russ: I’m not too sure if I should.

Rachel: We’d really like you to be there.

    Russ: Bay City’s my home.

Carl: I’ve got a question for you Dr. Matthews. A friend of ours had a brain injury in an accident.

    Rachel: You’re talking about Michele?

Russ: I read about that in the Herald.

Carl: Yes. Maybe you could examine her? She couldn’t read.

Russ: She may not need to.

    Carl: What are you saying?

Russ: Any cognitive functions she learned before the injury that she lost should return.

Rachel: She was devastated when she learned she couldn’t read, so you’re saying that it will just...come back?

Russ: No doubt in my mind.

Rachel goes to Carl and puts her hands on Carl’s shoulders.

    Rachel: Are you ready?

Carl: We have to tell the children.

    ---------------------------------------

    CORY MANSION

    Elizabeth
walks downstairs and encounters Cory on his cell phone in the foyer.

Cory: You’re not feeling well. Can I bring you something? Chicken soup? What am I thinking? You’ve got maid service at the Love Mansion. Feel better.

Cory hangs up and sees Elizabeth.

    Elizabeth: I can’t believe it.

    Cory: What do you mean?

Elizabeth: You’re dating that scheming lying bitch Bridget.

    Cory: Not now Lizzie.

Cory walks into the foyer and Elizabeth follows.

Elizabeth: After everything she did to break you and Michele up, you’re turning around and dating her. I guess she got what she wanted.

Cory plops on the couch and Elizabeth sits on the chair across from the couch.

Cory: She’s not that kind of person anymore.

    Elizabeth: She will never change.

Cory: She felt bad about everything and it took her a long time to forgive herself.

Elizabeth: And let me guess, she leaned on you, and cried on your shoulder. As long as you all thought Michele was dead, she turned on the waterworks, and told you how bad she felt about what happened to her sister. Does that about sum it up?

Cory: I don’t care what you think of Bridget. I like her and I’m gonna date her whether you like it or not. I mean even Michele said she was cool with it.

    Elizabeth purses her lips.

Cory: Come on Lizzie. Can we talk about something else?

Elizabeth: No we can’t. That skank has got you in her clutches. She was so jealous of her sister. Michele was headed for big things, and to have it all just taken away on prom night because of Bridget.

Cory: Michele has been through a lot.

Elizabeth: No kidding, and you think she’s gonna come back and be cool with you dating her sister.

    Cory: That’s what she said.

Elizabeth: And you think she means that?

    Cory: Lizzie…

Elizabeth: You really can’t be that stupid. I bet she’s mad as hell. I sure would be.

    -----------------------------------------------

    AT THE MCKINNONS

    Vicky
opens the front door as Michele comes downstairs and manages to stop her.

    Michele: Mom.

    Vicky: Hey honey.

    Michele: Where are you headed?

Vicky: I was gonna see your Aunt Marley.

Michele: I was there the other day.

    Vicky: How was she?

Michele: She’s hanging in there. I know she’s ready to deliver little Roman.

Vicky: Aren’t we all. I wanna spoil my nephew. So happy she’s having a baby.

Michele: You know she talked to me...about what happened between you and her before I was born.

Vicky sighs as if she’s recalling those events in her mind.

Vicky: When she locked me in the basement of the Love Mansion.

Michele: Yeah that, but I don’t know why everyone’s so afraid that I’m gonna do the same thing to Bridget. I’m not gonna do that.

Vicky: That was a tough time for all of us honey.

Michele: I...I didn’t mean to bring up bad memories. If you don’t wanna talk about it…

Vicky puts her hands on Michele’s shoulders and looks into her eyes.

Vicky: It’s perfectly fine honey. We went through a lot, and even after that we got close again. We’re twins. We’re sisters. We will always love each other, and that’s why I know that you would never hurt your sister. Well I gotta get going so…I’ll see ya.

Vicky turns around and there’s Jake
    .

    PART 2

    Vicky: Uh...hi.

    Jake: Hey.

    Vicky: How’s Lindsay?

    Jake: She’s okay.

Vicky: Are you coming to get the rest of your things?

Jake: That and...to see our daughter.

Vicky: Hmm I wonder if I should stick around.

Michele: Oh come on you two aren’t gonna start arguing are you?

Vicky: No I just don’t want him accusing you of things that you clearly aren’t responsible for.

Jake: I didn’t come to talk about that. Vicky can you leave us alone...please?

Vicky: You call me if you need anything.

    Michele: Sure mom.

Vicky leaves, and Jake shuts the door.

    -------------

Outside the door, Vicky is interrupted by a text on her phone.

Vicky (reading): You are cordially invited to a celebration...at the Corys?

    ------------------

    Meanwhile, back inside…

Michele: What did you come here for dad?

Jake: I don’t wanna argue with you.

Michele: No you’re just gonna accuse me wanting to hurt Bridget.

Jake: No, not at all. Come here. Let’s sit down.

Michele and Jake sit on the couch next to each other. Jake takes a deep breath as he looks into his daughter’s eyes.

Jake: You and Bridget changed my life.

Michele: Don’t most parents say that?

Jake: I used to be a two bit con artist, and a blackmailer. I used whoever I could to get what I wanted.

    Michele: Blackmail?

    Jake: I blackmailed Paulina.

Michele: Paulina is one of the sweetest people I know. Why did you do that to her?

Jake: You remember when we told you about Mac Cory right?

Michele: Yeah Amanda and Matt’s dad.

Jake: Paulina had just to come Bay City to claim her place in the Cory family, right after Mac died. She was due a huge inheritance, and I wanted a piece of it, so I held something over her head.

    Michele: And that was?

    Jake: She shot me.

Michele: And instead of going to the police you blackmailed her? That’s gross dad.

Jake: That’s the kind of guy I used to be, but when your mother and I learned she was pregnant with you and Bridget, I changed. I wasn’t going to be that person anymore. After you were born; watching you play together; dress alike; go to the prom, I will never be that guy again, because of you and Bridget.

Michele: Dad I really appreciate the history lesson but is there a point to all of this?

Jake: It pains me to see you and your sister at each other’s throats.

Michele: But you’re here talking to me instead of her.

Jake: It’s not lost on me what she did to you.

Michele: To you, Bridget can do no wrong, and that’s all does.

Jake: You’ll understand when you have kids.

Michele: Bridget started this whole damn thing with her jealousy.

Jake: She missed you when you were gone.

Michele: She used her guilt to reel in Cory.

Jake: And she’s still your sister, and you love each other. Stop this feud. If you’re angry about what she did---

Michele: Yeah yeah go see a doctor. Talk to Steven.

Jake: I love all of you. You, your sisters and your brothers. None of us want you and Bridget to be fighting.

Michele turns toward the mantle and crosses her arms.

Michele: You’re right dad...none of us do. None of us wanted Bridget to hide my college acceptance letter; none of us wanted her to steal vodka out of grandpa Reginald’s cabinet; none of us wanted her to spike Cory’s punch to get him drunk; none of us wanted Gregory’s car to hit me and cause my brain injury!

Michele turns back around and faces her father.

Jake: You talked to your Aunt Marley right?

Michele: OMG can anything stay a secret in this family?

Jake: We all went through that and we are seeing it all over again with you and Bridget.

Michele: For the last time I’m not gonna lock Bridget in a basement!

Jake: That’s not what I’m saying.

Michele: Yes I’m angry, but it happened a long time ago. Bridget is not that girl anymore, and I’m working on forgiving her. I mean you didn’t expect me to just come back and everything was gonna be great.

Jake: No, but it’s still there. You need to talk to somebody about it. Look, can you at least think about it? You can’t walk around with this anger.

    Michele nods her head.

Michele: You know what I’ll...I’ll think about it.

Jake: I need all of my kids to get along.

Michele: Speaking of which, I’m gonna go see my big sister soon.

Jake: Lindsay’s gonna need all of our support.

Their phones chime about a second apart. Michele gets her phone off of the coffee table and Jake looks at his.

Jake: What this? Party at the Corys.

    Michele picks up her phone.

Michele: Is that what it says? Because I…

Michele looks at her phone is able to read the text. She smiles with surprise, then quickly returns her look to regular.

Michele: Cory’s dad is throwing a dinner party. I wonder what for.

    -------------------------------------------------

Cory: Well I believe her when she said she was cool with me and Bridget.

Elizabeth: You all turned a blind eye to what Bridget did. All that crap that she pulled isn’t lost on Michele.

Cory: Why are you so determined to think the worst about Bridget? She’s not that kind of person anymore.

Elizabeth: Because she’s not gonna change. She wanted you, and she got you, and she’ll probably do anything she needs to do to keep you.

Suddenly, Cory and Elizabeth’s attentions are grabbed by someone at the living room doors.

    (Play this song
on low as you read the following scene)

    Carl: My darling daughter.

    Elizabeth: Dad!

Elizabeth runs up to Carl and hugs him, but after the embrace, she looks into his face, noticing a bit of a pale complexion.

Elizabeth: You look tired, your face...no...no not again.

Rachel enters and closes the double doors to the living room.

Elizabeth: Mom please tell me this isn’t…

Rachel: I think you two need to sit down. We have to talk to you.

As the CAMERA PANS slowly away from the living room, showing the four of them through the glass doors, Rachel and Carl tell the children that Carl’s brain tumor has returned, and that it’s inoperable this time. Elizabeth covers her face and cries. Cory shakes his in disbelief. The four gather around and hug, with Carl in the middle.

    PART 1

    BAY CITY CENTER

    Felicia
and her agent, Mason, sit at a table across from each other. Mason and Felicia both have laptops.

Mason: I sent you the email from KBAY’s executive team.

    Felicia: Iris.

Mason: Well did you see it?

Felicia: Is it about the movie deal? I’m not taking it.

Mason: Let’s see, how can I put this? You’d be stupid not to take it.

Felicia: Iris is only out to hurt Cory Productions and I’m not going to participate in that.

Mason: This isn’t about personal relationships Felicia.

Felicia: Of course it is. Rachel is my friend. I would never hurt her or her children.

Mason: KBAY is offering three times as much as Cory to produce your movies.

    Felicia: I’m not doing it.

Mason: It’s a very lucrative offer.

Felicia: Why would Iris overpay to produce these films?

Mason: Who cares about the reasons why she’s doing it?

    Felicia: I do.

Mason: Apparently you didn’t read the rest of the offer.

Felicia: I did. The marketing part is something that Cory Productions is not offering.

Mason: Bingo. KBAY is planning an aggressive, worldwide marketing campaign. Think of all the exposure you’re going to get.

Felicia: And they only want ten percent of whatever monies that the movies bring in.

Mason: Cory Productions isn’t offering that are they?

Felicia: I’m going to go meet with them after this.

Mason: If they can’t meet or exceed KBAY’s offer, then I would encourage you to strongly consider this. This deal could lead to other deals, with larger companies, which means...

    Felicia: I know I know.

Mason: See, I knew you were a businesswoman. So you’ll consider KBAY’s offer?

Felicia: I will call you later.

    Felicia leaves, and then Iris
walks up to Mason as they both watch Felicia walk away.

    Iris: What did she say?

    Mason: She’s gonna consider it.

Iris: I need her name on the dotted line.

Mason: You offered her quite a bit. I can’t believe you’re going to front all worldwide marketing costs. I mean only ten percent of movie profits. What if you have losses?

Iris: When you have Spaulding money, there is no such thing as losses.

Mason: What is it that you want anyway? Why are you pushing so hard to get Felicia to do this deal?

Iris: What I want isn’t any of your concern. You just get Felicia to sign the movie rights to KBAY, and everything else will take care of itself.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

    MEANWHILE….

    Cory
sits at a table and Bridget meets him.

    Cory: Hey there.

Cory kisses her and Bridget sits down across from him.

    Bridget: What’s up?

Cory: Just wanted to see you before we went to the movies.

Bridget: And do that thing that people do in the back?

    Cory smiles.

    Cory: Hmmm.

Bridget: What time does it start?

    Cory: About an hour.

Bridget: Well this’ll be a good getaway.

    Cory: Let me guess...your mom.

Bridget: She kicked me out again. I’m back living with my grandparents.

    Cory: The cycle never ends.

Bridget: My mom is crazy. She’s breaking up with dad because of what she did. How stupid is that?

Cory: Wow. Both your sisters are right in the middle of that.

    Bridget: Lindsay and Michele.

Cory: Michele came to my house earlier.

Bridget: I figured that’s where she went.

Cory: She said she was cool with us.

Bridget: Us meaning you and me...a couple? Really?

Cory: Yeah. I was just as surprised as you are.

Bridget: There’s only one problem. I don’t believe it for one second.

    Cory: What do you mean?

Bridget: Clearly she hasn’t been herself since she came back. She’s got it in for me.

Cory: Do you think she’d hurt you in some way?

Bridget: I don’t know. She cut herself on her arm with scissors at the hospital and blamed it on me.

Cory: When? I didn’t see any cuts on her...she was wearing a long sleeved shirt.

Bridget: She’s trying to turn everyone against me, and I’m not gonna let her get away with it.

Cory: She went to see Marley.

Bridget: She’s probably going to get a little history lesson. Wonder if it’ll do any good.

    -------------------------------------------------------

    AT THE MONTGOMERYS

    Donna
walks in, sticks her key in her purse, and doesn’t close the door all the way. Marley lies on the couch on her back.

Donna: Oh my you look like you’re about to pop. My grandson is ready to enter the world.

    Marley: I’m ready for him.

    Donna: Where’s Tyrone?

    Tyrone
    walks into the living room.

Donna: Hey there. I see you’re taking good care of my daughter.

    Tyrone: Of course.

Marley: I feel like I’ve been pregnant forever. One of those twenty four month elephant pregnancies.

Donna: As long as you’re doing what the doctor says you should be fine.

Marley: You know I’m glad you came over.

Donna: I’m always up for a visit with any of my girls.

Marley: This one in particular. I need your assistance. Both of you.

Someone opens the front door, and it’s Michele
    with her sleeves rolled up.

    PART 2

    CORY PRODUCTIONS.

    Amanda
, Matt and Felicia are in Amanda’s office. Felicia has shown them KBAY’s offer.

Amanda: Iris is turning up the heat isn’t she?

    Matt: I’m...I’m shocked.

Amanda: It appears that she’s not even looking to recover any of the marketing costs.

Matt: And we really can’t afford to do that.

Felicia: Is there something you can do? Maybe do some maneuvering of the numbers?

Amanda: Felicia we can lower our request for the profit percentage to twenty.

Felicia: KBAY only wants ten percent.

Amanda: And of course we’re gonna market on social media. It doesn’t cost much to do that.

Felicia: What about the billboards, television stations, and digital radio stations that KBAY promises to do?

Matt: We can get some more research done and find out when the top viewing times are.

Amanda: And strategically purchase some prime time spots for the television side overseas.

Felicia: What about the United States?

Matt: Felicia please work with us. You know we’re a bit cash strapped.

    Felicia gets up and sighs.

Amanda: Please. Your movie deal will bring in lots of revenue for us, and you.

Felicia: I love you all, and Rachel dearly, but I have to make a business decision.

    Matt: You’re gonna...go with KBAY’s offer?

    Felicia: I’m sorry Matthew.

Felicia leaves the office and Amanda turns to Matt.

Matt: There’s got to be something we can do.

Amanda: Iris has pulled out all the stops to get her to do this movie deal, and she knows that we need the revenue. Guess there’s only one thing left to do.

    Matt: No...no we’re not selling.

Amanda: That’s not what I had in mind little brother.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

    IRIS’S SUITE

Iris is on her cell phone with a mystery person.

Iris: You’re coming to Bay City soon? Wow. We’re gonna have to keep things very discreet. I am very close to getting Felicia to sign her movie rights to KBAY.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

    OUTSIDE AMANDA’S OFFICE

Felicia is on her cell phone with her agent Mason. She takes a deep breath, a bit conflicted over not choosing Cory Productions.

Felicia: I’ve...decided to take KBAY’s offer.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    ROOM

    Joy
    makes a phone call.

Joy: I’m giving you an update. She looks like she’s gonna have the baby any day now and I’ll know exactly when it happens. Someone almost caught me planting that camera. Please, don’t hurt Thomasina. I will do what you ask.

Joy hangs up, opens her laptop, and sees

    Donna, Tyrone, Marley and Michele.

    ---------------------------------------------------------

Donna, Tyrone, Marley and Michele are unaware of a camera outside the front window that Joy is watching them on.

Michele: What is this? I’m leaving.

Donna gets up and touches Michele’s left shoulder.

Donna: I didn’t know you were coming.

Michele: But you knew Aunt Marley called me.

Marley: I promise you I...didn’t tell Donna you were coming.

Donna: Look I’ll...I’ll go in the kitchen, not that I know my way around a kitchen.

    Marley: Thanks. Tyrone?

    Michele: No…Tyrone can stay.

Donna leaves the living room and Michele sits across from Marley and Tyrone.

Michele: They told you didn’t they?

    Marley: Told me what?

Michele: What I did to the living room at home.

    Tyrone: What happened?

Michele: Oh come on, don’t act like you don’t know.

Marley: I...I talked to Victoria. She ransacked the living room at the McKinnons, and threw Bridget’s picture frame.

Tyrone looks at Michele as if he’s reliving the past.

Tyrone: It’s happening again. It’s you and Vicky all over again baby.

Marley: Even without you doing that, I wanted to talk to you.

    Michele: About Bridget?

Marley: No. About you. I’ve been where you are.

Michele: I don’t know why everyone is so worried. I’m fine.

Tyrone: Marley was saying those same things. She came back to Bay City and was very angry with Vicky.

Michele: I heard the stories Tyrone.

Marley: And we don’t want you to go through the same thing. I regret what I did to your mother. I was fortunate that she and Jake forgave me, and that Tyrone stood by me when everyone was against me.

Tyrone: Marley got the help she needed and she’s better now.

Michele: Oh my God! Did grandma Donna put you up to this?

Marley: No honey. I just know what it’s like to be angry at your sister, and to want to hurt her like she hurt you. I understand the root of your anger, but please...don’t do what I did. I hurt a lot of people.

Tyrone: Marley’s right. Maybe you can talk to your brother about it.

Marley: Or at the very least he can recommend someone.

Michele: You all act like I’m crazy.

Marley: That’s what Etta Mae called me after I locked Vicky in the Love Mansion basement. Tyrone: Vicky almost died.

    Marley: Please Michele...if you’re angry at Bridget…

Michele: I’m not angry at Bridget! Why does everyone think that I’m angry at my own sister?

Marley: Through everything I was doing to your mother, deep down I loved her, and I know you love your sister.

Michele: I am not going to hurt Bridget.

Marley: Wait, what’s that cut on your arm?

Michele: Oh I...I was trying to cut a thread off my shirt and I cut myself instead.

Tyrone: I don’t want Marley worrying about you.

Michele gets up and rubs her aunt’s thigh, and softens her tone.

Michele: And she doesn’t have to. Aunt Marley I promise you. I’m not going to do anything to Bridget.

Marley: I don’t want you to end up like I did. What I did to your mother was a big mistake. I just don’t want you to do the same thing.

Michele: And I’m not. You just worry about little Roman okay. I gotta go.

Marley: I love you. I love all of you. We need to be a tight family.

    Michele: I love you, too.

Michele leaves, and Donna walks back into the living room. Tyrone gets up and takes Donna into a private corner.

Tyrone: Is there anything you can do? It’s not good for Marley to worry about her nieces.

Donna: I know, and we can’t let her know what’s going on.

Tyrone: Well I’m glad that Michele promised her that she wouldn’t hurt Bridget.

Donna: I heard it through the door.

    Tyrone: You were eavesdropping?

Donna: Michele's lying. I'm wondering when the other shoe is gonna drop.

    Tyrone: Are you serious?

Donna: I’m not a doctor, but Michele’s behavior; her state of mind; it reminds me so much of Marley after the fire. I’m afraid of what she’s gonna do.

    --------------------------

Outside, Michele keeps thinking about Marley saying that she knows that Michele loves her sister, and it echoes in her mind. She covers her ears and grunts her teeth, as if to not hear Marley saying it over and over again.

    John:  Yeah come on in.
    Brianna:  HR sent me.
John:  Right.  I like to meet all the candidates, well, as many as I can.
    Brianna:  Right.
John:  So I went over your resume, and you did your clinicals at Mass. General?
Brianna:  Yes.  It was a great experience.  I learned a great deal.
John:  So what brings you from Boston to Bay City?
Brianna:  Boston is a such a big city.  I’m a small town kinda gal you know?
    John:  Bay City General though?
Brianna:  Yeah I...heard a lot about this hospital.  Never a dull moment.  I think you were treated here for malaria.
John:  By a guy who shouldn’t have been practicing.
Brianna:  Yeah I uh...heard about Fax Newman, too.
John:  I see you’ve done your research.
    Brianna:  Yes sir I did.
John:  And since you’ve done your homework, you know that we never have enough good nurses.
Brianna:  Very hard to come by in this field.
John:  You’re exactly right.  There’s been some turnover here and we need somebody who’s gonna stick around.
Brianna:  Hopefully Bay City will be a place that I’d like to stay in.  A good job could factor into that.
John:  A job I hope that you can start today.
Brianna:  Today?  Does this mean I….?
John:  That’s if you want it.

Amanda:  It was...interesting to say the least.
    Matt:  What is this?
    Amanda:  The contract.
    Matt:  For the merger?
    Amanda:  Yes.
Matt:  Are sure you can trust Iris?
    Rachel:  I sure wouldn’t.
Amanda:  That’s why this contract was drawn up.  She has to agree to be the co-CEO of the new company.
Rachel:  You’d be having to watch your back so she doesn’t stab you in it.
Amanda:  She said she’d think about it, but my offer has an expiration date.
    Rachel:  You’ve done well Amanda.
Amanda:  She needs the connections that we have to grow her brand.
Matt:  What are you gonna do when Iris tries to betray you?
Rachel:  Carl and I have come up with a plan.  Iris won’t betray you.
Matt:  What about Paulina and Sandy?
Amanda:  My sister and my other brother are okay with it.   I’ve gotten their written agreements.  I need yours now.
Matt:  Well you know you’re also going to need the board to sign off on it, too.
Amanda:  That’s the problem.  One of the board members retired effective immediately.
Matt:  So we can’t execute the deal until we have all seven board members’ signatures.
Amanda:  First we gotta find another board member.
Matt gets up and and blinks his eyes.
    Amanda:  Matt what’s wrong?
    Matt:  Nothing I just feel a little...hungry.
Matt tries to walk and stumbles.

Devin Lucas:  Is that right?  I thought you’d be jumping for joy being that you tried to shoot him at his wedding.
Iris:  I’ve done my time for that.  It was a learning experience.
Devin Lucas:  And exactly what did you take from it?  How to be a better shot?
Iris:  I saw the pain on Rachel’s face when I heard her say he had a brain tumor, and she’s already had so much loss in her life, as have I...so yes I’m sorry that your father’s dying.  My father died, too.
Devin Lucas:  It’s tough, but I didn’t call you over here to give your fake condolences for Carl.

Devin Lucas:  Well you need to make some type of decision because I’m sure Amanda’s offer’s not gonna stay on the table.
Iris:  If I accept this offer, KBAY could become a powerful company.
Devin Lucas:  But you and I were supposed to take over the company and make it powerful.
Iris:  You have to trust me on this.  I have a place for you in the company.
Devin Lucas:  Doesn’t it make you wonder why Amanda proposed a merger to you?  Out of the blue?
    Iris:  I’m considering everything here.
Devin Lucas:  Sounds like you’re double crossing me.
Iris:  No.  No that’s not it at all.  You have to trust me on this.  I know exactly what I intend to do.
    Devin Lucas:  Which is?
Iris:  You’ll have to wait and see won’t you?
Iris leaves and Devin Lucas makes a phone call.
    Devin Lucas:  Hi it’s me.
The person on the other end is Carl.
    Carl:  So what happened?
    ------------
Devin Lucas:  She did exactly as you said she would.
    -----------
Carl:  You can’t trust her, especially when it comes to Cory Productions.   Don’t worry son, I’ll see to it that Iris will be neutralized.

    Vicky: Yeah.

Steven: Why are all these suitcases here?

Vicky: Because Donna is coming to get Bridget.

    Steven: Mom not again.

Vicky: Bridget is going to go live with your grandparents at the Love Mansion.

Steven: Did you kick her out?

    Vicky turns around.

Steven: What’s going on around here? First Jake and now Bridget?

Vicky: Bridget tried to hurt Michele, and I’m not gonna give her another chance.

    Steven: Where’s Michele?

    Vicky: She went out.

Steven: Can you tell me where?

Bridget: Come on mom is it that hard to figure out? She went to see Cory.

    ----------------------------------------------

    CORY MANSION

    Cory
and Michele are in the living room.

Cory: It’s...good to see you. Are you okay?

    Michele: I’m fine. Never better.

    Cory: Good.

    Michele: How’s...everything here?

    Cory: Everything’s good.

Michele: How’s your relationship with my sister?

Cory: Michele...we...I’ve been meaning to tell you.

Michele: When were you gonna tell me Cory?

Cory: I didn’t know what I was gonna say I....

Michele: You could’ve moved on with anyone else, but with my sister?

Cory: We didn’t mean for it to happen. We thought you were dead.

Michele: I wonder how she did it.

Cory: She didn’t do anything. She missed you Michele. It took her a long time to forgive herself for what she had done.

Michele: And you, being you, helped her through it, right?

Cory: If you’re expecting an apology, you’re not gonna get one. I like Bridget a lot, and I wanna be with her.

Michele: And I don’t plan on standing in your way.

    Cory: What?

Michele: You heard right. If you wanna be my sister’s boyfriend, go right ahead. I’m cool with it.

    ---------------------------------------------

    CAR

    Michael
    is driving with Donna.

Donna: We’ve gotta talk Victoria out of this. Sending Bridget to live with us is not the answer.

    Michael: I don’t agree.

Donna: How could you not Michael?

Michael: Maybe it’s best for now.

Donna: The only thing that’s best is that Bridget and Michele mend their fences and for Victoria to let Jake come home so they can work things out.

Michael: I guess you didn’t see what happened at the hospital.

Donna: After everything Bridget did before, I wonder if she really did attack Michele.

Michael: And after that you don’t think it’s best for them to be separated? What are you on?

Donna: They need to be a cohesive family unit, and they can’t be that when Jake and Bridget aren’t living there.

Michael: It’s not our place to dictate our daughter’s marriage.

Donna: You know how Victoria is. She just needs some...convincing. She loves Jake. She’s always loved Jake.

    ----------------------------------------------

    BAY CITY CENTER

    Jake
sits at a table and has a flashback.

(Episode 180 at Kirkland and Charlie’s wedding)

Jake: Vicky I’m not doing this here.

Vicky: Doing what? I just asked you to dance.

Jake: I still don’t trust you. I don’t know if I ever will.

Vicky: You want to throw away everything we’ve meant to each other?

Jake: You did that when you decided to keep the truth from me about Lindsay.

Vicky: You’re never gonna forgive me for that are you?

Then he has another flashback (Episode 184)

Vicky: So you...you’re not gonna stay.

Jake: You gave me an ultimatum before we went to the wedding, remember?

Vicky: Yeah I know, and you’re deciding to not fight. We watched Kirkland begin his marriage today, and you’re ending ours.

Jake flashes back to the present and rubs his right hand on his forehead as if to cope with the stress of the peril that his marriage to Vicky is in.

Jake: What the hell am I gonna do?

    Then suddenly, Paulina
    touches Jake’s right shoulder.

Paulina: How about talking to an old friend?

    Jake looks up and smiles.

Jake: Aren’t you a sight for sore eyes right now?

    Part 2

Michael and Donna are in the McKinnons living room talking to Vicky and Steven.

    Michael: Where’s Bridget?

Vicky: She’s upstairs getting the rest of her things.

Donna: Victoria, having Bridget to come live with us is not the answer.

Vicky: It’s the only one I could come up with right now. I have a lot to figure out.

Michael: This is when you need your family here.

Vicky: We just got Michele back, and I am not going to lose her.

    ---------------------------------

Cory: What did you just say?

Michele: I understand. I really do. You and Bridget thought I was dead. What were you gonna do? Not move on? That’s pretty unrealistic for me to expect.

Cory: What did you feel when you saw us kissing at your brother’s wedding?

Michele: Okay I’ll admit...I was pissed off at first.

Cory: Pissed enough to do what you did to Bridget’s picture?

Michele: Okay I was a little mad, but I’ve had to think about it, and I’ve accepted it. If you and Bridget wanna be together, then you should.

    Cory: Are you sure?

Michele: I’m totally cool with it.

Cory continues to look at her with doubt, but his skepticism begins to fade slowly.

Michele: Really. I am. It looks like Bridget makes you happy, and that’s all I really want for you...and her.

    Cory: If you...say so.

Michele: Why don’t you believe me?

Cory: We all grew up together. You and I said we were gonna be together forever when we were in eighth grade.

Michele: We had no idea what we were talking about. We were kids. Besides, things have a way of working themselves out. Maybe you were really meant to be with Bridget. Come here.

Michele and Cory hug as Michele talks to Cory in his left ear.

Michele: Everyone deserves happiness, and all of us should get what we deserve right.

They end their embrace and they walk to the front door. Their embrace is interrupted by a text.

Michele: Oh...I’m gonna leave. That’s my Aunt Marley.

    Cory: How is she?

Michele: I’m about to find out.

    Cory: Hey Michele...thank you.

    Michele: Anytime Cory.

Michele leaves and after Cory shuts the door…

Michele: Oooh, Bridget is gonna get everything she deserves.

    --------------------------------

    BACK AT THE MCKINNONS…

    Steven: Is Michele okay?

    Vicky: She’s fine.

Donna: She said Bridget attacked her at the hospital, and your mother’s overreacting.

Vicky: Oh for God’s sake, I can’t believe that you can’t see what’s going on. Bridget is still jealous of Michele. Did you forget everything she did?

Donna: Of course I didn’t, but I just have a hard time believing that Bridget would ever attack her own sister with a pair of scissors.

Michael: Steven why don’t you help your old grandpa with Bridget’s luggage.

    Steven: Sure thing.

As Steven and Michael take Bridget’s luggage out to the car, Donna turns to Vicky.

Donna: Victoria is there anything I can do to change your mind?

    Vicky: Hmm let’s see...no.

    Donna: You’re making a mistake.

Vicky: I have a lot going on Donna.

Donna: And you shouldn’t be going through this alone. Where is Jake? He should be helping you through this.

    -------------------------------

Paulina: Lot of police officers around and a podium. Looks like there’s gonna be a press conference. So what’s going on with you?

    Jake: What’s not going on?

Paulina: It can’t be all bad right? I mean, Michele’s back home isn’t she?

Jake: Yes and I’m very happy about that, but she’s not right.

    Paulina: What do you mean?

Jake: She is out to get her own sister, and short of locking her in a room somewhere, I don’t feel there’s a lot I can do to stop her. I don’t know what she’s gonna do next. This is Vicky and Marley all over again.

Paulina: Oh...you’re talking about when Marley locked Vicky in the basement of the Love Mansion. Do you think Michele had some psychotic break like Marley did then?

Jake: Probably. It hurts like hell to see my daughter like that. Hurts even more to see all the animosity between my twins. Then my other daughter Lindsay might have...might have cancer.

Paulina: My God Jake I’m so sorry. Is there anything I can do?

    Jake smiles.

Jake: Unless you can fix my marriage, you’ve done more than enough.

Paulina: You and Vicky? What’s going on?

Jake: She knew the truth about Lindsay and kept it from me, and now this whole thing with the twins. I can’t trust her anymore.

    Paulina sighs almost in agreement.

Paulina: Can’t have any kind of relationship without trust right?

    Jake: Right.

    Paulina then flashes a smile.

Paulina: You’ve changed so much Jake. You’re a family man, and a husband.

Jake: Given what we did in the past you’d never thought you’d see the day huh? We both had to do some maturing.

Paulina: We did. You did. If you need anything, please let me know.

Paulina puts her left hand on Jake’s right hand…

    PART 1
Kirkland and Charlie are lying in bed.  As Charlie sleeps, Kirkland picks up his cell phone off the night table and it reads 7:35am.  He swipes to a picture of the ledger he took while at his father’s house:

          Company
    Route
    Amount
    GO LIMO
    Dr. Weston
    $427
    CENTER SUITES

    PREPAID PHONE
    Phone
    $80

Kirkland (thinking in his mind):  I gotta find out what that’s about.  Why did Christy go to Salem?
    --------------------------------------------------------------
    CHRISTY’S SUITE
Someone is ringing the doorbell.  The alarm clock on Christy’s night table reads 8:56am, and she emerges from the bathroom holding her stomach as she goes and answers the door.  Brianna Jameson walks in.
Brianna:  What’s wrong with you?  Are you okay?
    Christy:  I’m...I’m fine.  Cramps.
    Brianna:  That’s a sign.
Christy:  I know that.  That means it’s time, and I hope you’re ready to do your part.
    -------------------------------------------------------------
AT THE WINTHROPS...Maggie checks her cell phone as the time reads 2:42pm as she rings the doorbell.  Cass answers the door.
    Cass:  Heeeey.
    The two embrace.
Cass:  My God it’s so good to see you.  Come on in.  It’s about time you came and saw your old man.
Frankie walks into the living room.
    Frankie:  And your stepmother.
    Maggie:  Frankie.
    She and Frankie embrace.
    Frankie:  Hey honey.
Maggie takes out her car keys.
Cass:  Why do you keep pressing that button?
Maggie:  I’m trying to lock my car.
Frankie:  Oh you don’t have to do that out here.
Cass:  Unless you left food in there.
    Frankie (smiling):  Yeah, the animals.
Maggie:  It’s a brand new car.
Cass:  So what did Cecile buy?
Maggie:  My mom didn’t buy anything.  I mean I am a doctor now right.  I can afford such things.
Cass:  That’s riiiiight.  Have you started yet?
Maggie:  No...I start tomorrow.  I just had to come see you guys.
Cass:  And I’m happy that you came.
Frankie:  You know Cass and I are going to the Corys tonight.  You need to come with us.
Cass:  Rachel will be happy to see you.
Maggie:  Yeah sure but I gotta find something to wear, oh my God.  What time does the party start?
Cass looks at Frankie unsure how to answer Maggie’s question.
Cass:  What did the text say?
Frankie:  I’ll have to look at it.  I think you’ve got plenty of time though.
Maggie:  Well let me get outta here.  I gotta get something.
Cass:  I’ll text you with the time.
Maggie:  Sure sure.  I love you.
Frankie:  We love you, too honey.  Drive safe.
Maggie leaves and Frankie watches her from the door, and Cass joins her, and rubs her shoulders.
Cass:  Look at her.  She’s come such a long way.
Frankie walks back into the living room and Cass shuts the door.
    Cass:  What’s wrong?
Frankie:  I can’t shake this feeling Cass.  Something is off.
Cass:  What do you think it is?
Frankie:  I don’t know.  I can’t put my finger on it.
    -----------------------------------------------------------
Maggie gets inside of her car.  She smiles, turns the car on and the time reads 3:17pm and suddenly, unseen from the back seat, Brianna sticks a needle in Maggie’s neck injecting her with a strong sedative, and it knocks her unconscious.
Brianna:  Should’ve locked your doors Maggie.
    ------------------------------------------------------------
BACK AT CHRISTY’S SUITE…The alarm clock now reads 4:06pm.  Christy answers the door and it’s an unwelcome visitor, Kirkland, who walks right in.
Christy:  I didn’t invite you in here.  At least I know you’re not a vampire.
Kirkland:  No I’m not, and I’m not out for blood, but I want some answers.
    Christy sighs with exasperation.
Christy:  To what?  A test?  Go to Bay City University.
Kirkland:  I’m not talking about an exam, but a limo ride to Dr. Weston the day after my wedding reception.
Christy:  I don’t know what you’re talking about.
Christy turns away from Kirkland, sensing he just might be on to something.
Kirkland:  You crash my wedding reception.  You and my dad exchange this weird look as if you know each other.  Then you take off to Salem, and get this suite on my dad’s dime?
Christy:  You’re just getting warm aren’t you?
Kirkland:  That’s a question only you can answer, and I’m not leaving here until I get it!
CAMERA PAN ON KIRKLAND...SLOW FADE TO THEME SONG
    -------------------------------------------------------------
    PART 2
Christy:  Well that’s interesting, because I also think it’s time you get your answers.  It’s time you find out the real reason I stayed in Bay City.
Kirkland:  You can start from the beginning.
Christy:  Oh I’m not gonna tell you the story.
Eric walks in and shuts the door.
Christy:  My son is, and it’s time for me to leave you two alone.  If you’ll excuse me.
Christy leaves Eric and Kirkland alone.
Kirkland:  What the hell is this?  Some type of set up.  Ambush?
Eric:  No, not exactly like that.
Kirkland:  So you’re gonna tell me why your crazy mother stayed in Bay City when she could have left after my dad got her out of prison.
Eric:  I’ll tell you what you need to know.
    --------------------------------------------------------------
OUTSIDE CHRISTY’S SUITE...Christy gets a text that reads “I’ve done my part.”
    Christy:  It’s time.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------
Kirkland:  What?  That’s why she went to Dr. Weston?
Eric:  Yep.  You got the pure unadulterated truth.  Most of it.
Kirkland:  Didn’t know you had it in you.  You did the right thing Eric.  Now I can tell Cass and Frankie what Christy’s up to.
    Kirkland turns to leave.
Eric:  Not so fast.  Don’t you wonder how my mom got all the evidence that links your dad to Evan Frame?
Kirkland stops as he realizes the gravity of what Eric is talking about.
Eric:  After all it was locked in your father’s living room safe.  It was so easy to break into.  My mom needed some leverage, something to make your father work his magic.
Kirkland:  You were the one who broke into my dad’s house.
Eric:  Yep it was me, and I gave the evidence to my mom.
    Kirkland:  Where is it?
Eric:  Now you know I can’t tell you that.
Kirkland:  That’s the least you can do.  You can get from under your mother.  You don’t have to be like her.
Eric:  But I am.  It’s like you told K.C.  I come from a lineage of sociopaths.  I’ve embraced that about myself.
Kirkland:  I was right about you.  You’re a lunatic.
Eric:  I’m not a lunatic, but I am crazy...crazy about you.
    Kirkland:  What?
Eric moves closer to Kirkland and comes face to face with him.
Eric:  Don’t act surprised Kirkland.  When I stole the evidence from your father’s living room, I kept something for myself and believe me when I say, I really enjoy watching it.  Over and over.
    Kirkland:  You freak!
Eric:  Oh you’re gonna see...just how much of a freak I am.
Kirkland:  You’re dating my cousin to cover up your sexuality?
Eric:  Isn’t that why you married Charlie?
Kirkland moves away from Eric, but Eric follows him.
Kirkland:  You want sex don’t you?  I’m not cheating on my wife.
Eric:  You’re gonna give me what I want.
Eric walks over to his mother’s laptop, sticks a flash drive in the USB, and plays it.  The footage of Kirkland having sex with the bartender at Genoa City Athletic Club, and Kirkland watches in amazement.  As Kirkland walks to the laptop watching this video, and Eric walks up behind him.
Kirkland:  What do you want from me?
Eric whispers in his ear and massages Kirkland’s crotch.
Eric:  You know what I want.  I want a taste what that bartender tasted.
Kirkland grabs Eric hand, takes the flash drive, and moves it away from his crotch.
    Kirkland:  And if I don’t?
Eric:  Then Charlie is gonna get a copy of this, and I don’t have to tell you what will happen after that.  Oh keep it.  I’ve got plenty of copies.  You could have another career on your hands if this went viral.  A lot of gay men, will want a taste of your frank.  I know I do...as often...as I can.
Eric unzips Kirkland’s pants, looks down, and looks back in Kirkland’s face.
Eric:  There we go.  I knew you wouldn’t disappoint.
    --------------------------------
    BACK AT THE WINTHROPS
Frankie is in the living room, fully dressed in a gray pants with an off white blouse.  She looks at her watch which reads 6:36pm.  Cass walks in dressed in a navy blue suit, shirt, tie and shoes.
    Cass (sighs):  Are you ready?
Frankie:  As ready as I’m ever gonna be.
    Cass:  You seem tense.
Frankie:  I am.  Something is just not right.
    Cass:  Maybe it’s Carl.
    Frankie:  That’s...part of it.
Cass:  I sent the text to Maggie about the party.
    Frankie:  Did she respond back?

MENTAL INSTITUTION - Sharlene has asked John to tell her about the tension between John and Gregory.
Sharlene: For God’s sake John stop trying to protect me! You’re not leaving here until you tell me what’s going on between you and our son.
    Gregory walks in…
Gregory: Yeah dad, tell mom the truth.
John: Gregory this isn’t the time. We want your mom to get well.
Sharlene: I’m stronger than I’ve ever been.
Gregory: So when is it gonna be the right time? You owe mom the truth.
John: Leave your mom and I alone so we can talk.
Gregory: So yo can lie to her! I’m not gonna let you.
Sharlene walks past John and up to Gregory.
Sharlene: Honey you look hungry. Go get yourself something to eat.
Gregory: I love you mom. I’m not leaving you. I’m not gonna let him hurt you again.
Sharlene: Your father’s not gonna hurt me, and I would like to speak to him alone. I’ll be fine. Go ahead.
Gregory shoots a mean look to John over Sharlene’s shoulder, and looks back at Sharlene, and kisses her on her left cheek.
    Gregory: I’ll be back.
    Sharlene: Thank you.
Gregory shuts the door. Sharlene turns toward John, sighs, and folds her arms.
John: He thinks I’m going to hurt you and that’s the last thing I wanna do.
    Sharlene: I know.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
LOVE MANSION - Jack and Toni are at the front door, and Michael opens it.
    Michael: Jack, Toni.
    Jack: May we come in?
Donna meets them in the foyer.
Donna: Detective Snyder. Lieutenant Burrell. Have you found out who burned my club down?
    Toni: We’re working on that.
Michael: Why not? You must have some leads.
Donna: I worked hard to get that club back up and running, and someone just set it on fire.
Jack: We’re not here about that.
Michael: Well I know this can’t be a social call, so what other police business could you have?
Someone rings the doorbell, and Michael answers it.
Michael: Etta Mae. What are you doing here?
Etta Mae: I’m sorry, but they told me I could find my daughter here.
Toni approaches them. Michael goes back to Donna’s side.
    Toni: Mom?
Etta Mae: I need to talk to you...in private.
Toni: I’m here on police business.
Etta Mae: Toni please. This is serious.
Toni: Alright. Alright. Jack I’ll be right outside.
Toni walks outside and Jack continues his talk with Michael and Donna.
    Jack: We discovered something.
    Donna: About what?
    Jack: Your father.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, outside of the Love Mansion, Toni wonders why Etta Mae tracked her down.
    Toni: What is going on?
Etta Mae: I wouldn’t come to Bay City unless it was important.
    Toni: Mom...what is it?
Etta Mae: Keneisha didn’t come home last night.
    Toni: Did you guys fight?
Etta Mae: We argued about her coming to school here. She left the house in a tizzy but she never came back.
Toni: She’s not at a friend’s house or anything.
Etta Mae: I called her cell phone and it goes to voicemail.
    Toni: Give her some time.
Etta Mae: Something’s wrong Toni! Something happened to her. I can feel it.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
LIMOUSINE - Rachel and Carl are in the backseat.
    Carl: You’ve been awfully quiet.
    Rachel: Thinking about our son.
Carl: It’s for his own protection that he didn’t know where you took me.
Rachel: I didn’t want to lie to him Carl, but I’m not sure if he’s going to understand that.
Carl: We’ll make him understand. He couldn’t know that I was in Monticello.
The driver suddenly stops the car and they hear a banging on the passenger’s side window.
    Rachel: What is that?
Carl presses the button to let the window down and they both get a big shock. It’s Michele, but they don’t know that she’s recovered her memories.
    Rachel: Oh my God.
Carl: The girl from the clinic.
Michele: Mr. and Mrs. Hutchins please. You gotta help me! We’ve been in an accident.
CAMERA PAN ON MICHELE...SLOW FADE TO NEW OPENING.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    PART 2
John: Everything I’ve done is because I love you.
Sharlene: But you can’t protect me from everything. You can’t keep the truth from your wife. Isn’t that what destroyed our marriage twenty years ago?
John: I remember that every single day; how Gregory and I tried to move on when we thought you died in that explosion on the lake; how you fought your way back to us, and I threw it all away by having an affair.
    John moves closer to Sharlene.
John: You, Gregory, Josie, you all mean the world to me. I never wanna lose you again. After Kelsey, and even Felicia, you are the only woman I love.
Sharlene: If that’s true, John, you will tell me why Gregory is so angry at you. It hurts me to see you guys at each other’s throats.
John: You wanna know why Gregory’s mad? I’ll tell you. We were looking for Michael.
    Sharlene: We? Michael? What?
John: I saw one of my mother’s diaries when Gregory and I went to see her, and it said something about twins.
Sharlene (listening intently and curiously): Go on.
John: She had letters dated 1996.
    Sharlene: Letters from whom? Michael?
John: No...Martin. Michael’s identical twin brother.
Sharlene: What? So the guy that was here; the guy I dated...wasn’t Michael? Oh my God.
John: He was the one who died in the car crash with Shane Roberts.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gregory is outside of Sharlene’s room as if he’s standing guard, and Mitch approaches him.
    Gregory: Mitch.
    Mitch: Gregory. Where’s your mother?
    Gregory: She’s in here.
Mitch: I just wanted to see how she was doing.
Gregory: I’m glad you came, but she wanted to talk my dad alone.
Mitch: Well then I’ll come back later.
Gregory: No. I think it’s the perfect time for you to stay.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sharlene: So if Martin was the one who died, where’s Michael?
    John: He’s alive.
Sharlene: And who was helping you look for him? No…that’s why Gregory is angry. That’s why he keeps saying that he doesn’t you to hurt me.
Gregory and Mitch open the door.
Sharlene: Felicia was helping you wasn’t she?
Mitch walks right up to John, and Gregory follows.
    Mitch: Helping you? Do what?
John: I’m having a private conversation with my wife.
Mitch: But my wife’s name came up, so now it’s my business.
John: What the hell are you even doing here Mitch?
Mitch: I came to see Sharlene.
John: You came to see Sharlene? Why?
    Mitch: She’s a friend.
John: A friend? Sharlene you care to explain?
Gregory: Are you serious right now dad? Don’t try to turn this around! After all the times I’ve seen you and Felicia together?
    Sharlene: What?
Gregory: Yeah mom it’s true. Every time I turned around, I see dad and Felicia together.
John: We were looking for Michael.
Gregory: So what was that at the apartment? Mitch they were at your apartment...hugging.
Mitch and Sharlene are shocked, and Mitch turns to his attention to John.
Mitch: What the hell? You’re having an affair with my wife again?
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Donna: Why did you come all the way over here to talk to me about daddy?
Jack takes out a picture of Karen, the nurse working for Reginald, shows Donna, and Michael takes a look.
    Donna: Who is this?
Jack: Karen Pierce, at least that’s the name she goes by.
Michael: What does she have to do with Reginald?
Jack: Her real name is Margaret Allen. She worked for Jordan Stark.
Donna: Jordan Stark? You mean that guy who was the head of the Lumina Foundation. He cured me of my aphasia when I couldn’t talk.
Michael: I still don’t get the connection between Reginald and this woman.
    Jack: This woman...works for him.
Donna: Works for him? You talk as if he’s still...
Jack: That’s what I came to tell you. The Lumina Foundation saved his life, and your father took over the organization.
Michael: What are you saying? That my family’s in danger?
Jack: We’re doing everything we can get Reginald. The key to getting him is getting Margaret.
Michael: Well you better pray I don’t get him first. I’m not gonna let the people I love live in fear of Reginald Love.

OUTSIDE - It’s dark and a white mist is evaporating from the grass as Rachel, Carl, and Michele come to the spot where Lisa’s car crashed. Michele looks inside…
Michele: No. No she was…she was...she was right here. Mrs. Hutchins she was right there.
    Rachel: You’re talking about Lisa?
    Carl: I’ll call 9-1-1.
Michele: She was right here on the driver’s side. She’s gone. She wasn’t even conscious. Where is she?
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ROOM - Lisa is lying unconscious in a bed when Karen walks up to her, and leans over to Lisa’s face.
Karen: I told him you wouldn’t get far.
Suddenly someone bangs on the door and yells "Open up, Monticello Police!"
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Toni: I think you’re overreacting. Maybe she needs some time to cool off.
Etta Mae: Well you know she can’t come here because….
Toni: I know, but what more can we really do?
Etta Mae: First we gotta get her back home.
Toni’s gets and reads a text, and it has a picture of K.C. Burrell tied up and a message that reads: “If you want to see your daughter again, you will do as I ask.”.
    Toni: Oh my God.
    Etta Mae: Was that Keneisha?
Toni shows Etta Mae the text.
    Etta Mae: Oh no!
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile at the CAVANAUGH CLINIC/LUMINA FOUNDATION, Reginald takes the battery out of his cell phone, and looks at his tied up KC Burrell, who is struggling to free herself.
Reginald: This texting thing actually works.
