    AT MAXIE’S APARTMENT
    Maxie Jones (KIRSTEN STORMS)
    Felicia Scorpio (KRISTINA WAGNER)
    Maxie walks out into the living room with a blouse and jeans on to answer the door. It’s Felicia.
    Felicia: Hiiii honey.
    Maxie: Hey mom.
    Felicia (walking in and looking around): Where’s Levi?
    Maxie: He took his yoga mat and went to the park.

    AT THE PARK…
    Levi Dunkleman (ZACHARY GARRED)
    Detective Nathan West (RYAN PEAVEY)
    Levi is on his yoga mat stretching while a shirtless Nathan has decided to take a break from his run in the same area after he notices Levi. Levi notices Nathan and stops his routine. He takes a towel and wipes his face and faces Nathan.
    Levi: Hey mate!
    Nathan: This is Port Charles not the outback.
    Levi: Why are you being so hostile toward me?
    Nathan: Because you’re up to no good. You made Maxie lose her child.
    Levi: Are you projecting detective? As I recall, you were the one who lied on the stand.
    Nathan: And you called the judge and told him.
    Levi: Well as far as Maxie is concerned, you’re blowing a bunch of hot air.
    Nathan: I’m not gonna stop until I prove to Maxie what kind of guy you really are.
    Levi: And I suppose she’s gonna leave me and go running to your waiting arms. You really should move on.

    Felicia: Are you ready for your trip?
    Maxie: Yess, so ready. I can’t wait to get away from here.
    Felicia: Do you mean Port Charles...or Nathan?

    Nathan: You’re awfully sure of yourself aren’t you Dunkleman? Levi: I always am. That’s what Maxie loves about me. You on the other hand, blew the case against Silas Clay. You were so determined to pin your sister’s murder on him. Turns out Nina is alive and she’s not even your sister. So you see, a screw up like you doesn’t scare me at all.
    Nathan: You think you’re squeaky clean. Nobody is squeaky clean. Especially not you.
    Levi: I feel great when it comes to you looking for dirt to throw on me, because you won’t find any.
    Nathan: I’ll be watching you like a hawk. Remember that.
    Nathan turns around and goes to finish his run.

    AT THE QUARTERMAINES...

    Robin walks into the living room, where Jason is with Danny. Danny is off at watchable short distance playing with his toys as Robin approaches Jason.
    Jason takes a deep breath.
    Robin: I’m going over to Patrick’s.
    Jason: Oh yeah that’s right.
    Robin: He’s Emma’s father.
    Jason: I wonder how he’s gonna take it when you tell him you’re going back to Africa.
    Robin: I gotta go.
    She kisses Jason and on the way out, Carly walks in and she half-heartedly says hello to Robin, and Robin does the same to Carly and leaves. Carly mutters “bitch” under her breath and goes to hug Jason.
    Jason: Heeeyyy heyyy heyyyy.
    Carly: How are you? We haven’t talked in a while.
    Jason: I’m great. Never better. Look at my son.
    Carly: Reminds me of Michael and Morgan when they used to play with their toys.
    Jason: I remember.
    Carly: You know he’s looking more and more like you all the time.
    Jason: I’m grateful. Robin saved my life.
    Carly rolls her eyes at the mention of Robin.
    Jason: Come on you guys should be over all that.
    Carly: I don’t think I ever will. She had no right telling A.J. the truth. Everyone believed that you were Michael’s father, and that’s how it should have stayed, but that sanctimonious witch had to open her mouth. I wish you were Michael’s biological father.

    MEANWHILE, OUTSIDE THE LIVING ROOM DOOR…
    Monica (LESLIE CHARLESON) has heard what Carly just said to Jason.
    Monica: That’s because he is, and you will never know the truth.
    Tracy (JANE ELLIOT) is walking down the stairs and startles Monica.
    Tracy: Monica. Are you eavesdropping?

    Maxie: Why is Nathan so suspicious of Levi all the time? Levi has done nothing wrong.
    Felicia: Well you gotta admit some things are a little fishy.
    Maxie: Are you talking about the courthouse stuff mom? Levi said he had nothing to do with the judge finding out that Nathan lied on my behalf so I could see my daughter. You sound like Mac now.
    Felicia: And the immigration?
    Maxie: Nathan called the I.C.E. so Levi can get deported. Nathan clearly has it in for him, and I’m sick of it. It will do us good to get away.
    Felicia: How well...do you really know him?
    Maxie: Levi has been a positive influence on me. He’s taught me how to be healthy and to trust in the universe, and it’s helped for the most part. I’m so glad I met him while I was away finding myself.
    Felicia: I just don’t want you to get hurt. You should get to know Levi better before you go any further. Look, I didn’t come all the way over here to argue with you about your boyfriend.
    Maxie: Oh so you came to see your beautiful daughter.
    Felicia reaches into her purse.
    Felicia: That and to give you this.
    Maxie’s eyes widen with surprise as Felicia gives her the Aztec Artifact necklace.
    Maxie: Wait wait wait mom. You’re gonna give that to me?
    Felicia: Why not? It’s a family heirloom. Your grandmother wore it, and she passed it on to me, and now I’m passing it on to you.
    Felicia goes behind Maxie and fastens the clasp so Maxie can wear it.
    Felicia: It belongs to you know.
    Maxie: Wow mom. I...thank you.
    They hug.
    Felicia: I’m gonna get down to the Floating Rib and see what Mac is up to. I love you.
    Maxie: I love you, too mom.
    Felicia opens the door and there is Levi.
    Felicia: Levi.
    Levi: Hello Felicia.
    Felicia: I was just leaving.
    Maxie: Hi. How was yoga?
    Levi notices the necklace, but hides his shock. He flashes back to (Episode 9) when he first noticed the necklace on Felicia in front of Kelly’s.
    Levi: It...it was great...as always.
    Maxie: Look what my mom gave me. It’s the necklace that you were fascinated.
    Levi: That’s the prettiest necklace ever.

    Jason: Look I know that you and Robin are never gonna be friends, but can you both try to get along at least for my sake.
    Carly: We’ve made some headway over the years, but gosh every time I look at her, I remember the chain of events she set in motion when she told AJ that he was Michael’s father. I don’t even know what Patrick saw in her.

    AT THE DRAKE’S.
    Patrick Drake (JASON THOMPSON)
    Robin knocks and a clean shaven Patrick opens the door, and he lets her in.
    Robin: Wow. You look...this place looks…
    Patrick: Clean? Yes I’ve decided that I need to get clean.
    Robin: That’s...wonderful Patrick. That’s great news. Emma’s gonna need her dad, and so will Gabriel. Have you told Sabrina?
    Patrick: No I haven’t called her yet.
    Robin: Maybe she’ll soften her stance a bit and bring your son to Port Charles to see you. What made you decide to get help?
    Patrick: Emma, Gabriel. I want my children in my life. I need my kids in my life.
    Robin: And they need you. That’s what I came here to tell you. I’m leaving Port Charles.
    Patrick: Who are you going to save this time?
    Robin: AMFAR called me, so I’m going to Africa to help the children.
    Patrick: What about Emma?
    Robin: She’s gonna live with my mom and Duke. I’ve given her instructions that you can still have your supervised visits with Emma, but if things change with you. If you get better, she has my proxy to go to the court and lift that provision.

    Jason: Don’t talk about Robin like that.
    Carly: She’s still as high and mighty as she’s always been.
    Jason: Can we change the subject?
    Jason first looks over at Danny and then Carly follows suit.
    Carly: A.J. might still be alive, if you turned out to be Michael’s father. Do you ever wonder how things may have turned out if that was the case?
    Jason: Yeah...I do.

    Monica: Don’t you have anything better to do Tracy? Go call Ned or Dillon. When was the last time you talked to your sons?
    Tracy: As a matter of fact I am on my way to ELQ so we can watch the press conference. They’re gonna announce who they’re going to award the waterfront property to.
    Monica: Hopefully it will be my grandson who wins.
    Tracy: Wait a minute don’t try to change the subject. What are you doing eavesdropping on a private conversation?
    Monica: It’s Carly and Jason, and Carly’s reminiscing.
    Tracy: About what?
    Monica: I remember when Hurricane Carly blew into Port Charles and left a wake of destruction, and yet she’s sitting in my living room shooting the breeze with my son about what happened to A.J.
    Tracy: You seem angry still.
    Monica: Carly is a human tornado. She destroyed her mother’s marriage, and with the help of Sonny Corinthos, destroyed my son!
    Michael was the only person, the only reason, that A.J. had any reason to live. What did I do wrong?
    Tracy: You act like you failed A.J. He made his own decisions. You did all you could do as a mother. A.J. just got involved with the wrong people.
    Monica: I hate the fact that Carly is sitting in my living room talking to Jason after all the crap she’s pulled.
    Monica flashes back.(EPISODE 1)
    ...she sighs and pulls up something on her computer.
    Monica: There’s just one more thing that will make everything complete.
    Monica looks at a DNA test showing that Jason is Michael’s biological father.
    Monica flashes back to the present….
    Monica: I’m gonna do whatever I need to do to keep Carly away from my family.

    STACEY'S
    APARTMENT - Jake just learned through DNA evidence that Lindsay is his daughter. There is a deafening silence among them, then Bridget breaks it.
    Bridget: Is that true dad?
    Jake: 99.9% positive. I am Lindsay’s father.
    Bridget turns to Lindsay.
    Bridget: You knew?
    Lindsay: I…
    Bridget: You knew that we were sisters, and you didn’t say anything to me, or my dad. I thought...I thought we were becoming friends.
    Lindsay: And we’re more than friends. We’re sisters.
    Bridget: We’re nothing.
    Jake: Bridget wait for me downstairs.
    After Bridget leaves, a distraught, confused, and dumbfounded Jake tells a hair-out-of-place Vicky to go downstairs and wait with Bridget.
    Vicky: Jake we’ve gotta talk about this.
    Jake: Oh trust me, we’re gonna get to that. I wanna talk to Stacey.
    Vicky: I’m not leaving you here alone with that bitch!
    Jake (grunting): Go...downstairs...and wait with Bridget.
    Vicky leaves.
    Lindsay: I’ll go to my room.
    Jake and Stacey are left alone.
    Stacey: Why do you wanna talk to me? You should be talking to Vicky.
    Jake: How could you do this to me? Lindsay is my daughter and you didn’t bother to TELL ME! And you say you love me? What kind of person are you?

    BAY CITY CENTER---Bridget is walking, and sees Cory sitting at a table, and she walks up to him while she wipes tears out of her eyes.
    Bridget: Hey.
    Cory: Hey. You alright?
    Bridget: Can I talk to you?
    Cory: Sure.
    Bridget: I don’t know who else I can talk to.
    Cory: Sit. What’s going on?
    Bridget: What ISN’T? I just found out that the girl who I thought was my friend is my sister, and my mom lied about it.
    Cory: Join the club.
    Bridget: Well Elizabeth never pretended to be your sister.
    Cory: Not talking about that. I’m talking about the lying mom’s club.
    Bridget: Mrs. Hutchins?
    Cory: She said my dad was in Springfield, and he’s not.

    CAVANAUGH CLINIC - Carl confronts Rachel
    Carl: You took me here?
    Rachel: I had no choice Carl.
    Carl (shaking his head): And there were no other alternatives.
    Rachel: You ingested a neurotoxin, and Bay City General had no medicines to slow its progress. You could only get the treatment you needed here.
    Carl: I can’t fault you for it. That’s why I love you so…
    Rachel: But you’re afraid.
    Carl: Yes. We’re going to be forever indebted. Our family could be in danger, especially Cory and Elizabeth.
    Rachel: I don’t think they’ll put the children at risk.
    Carl: You DO know what they are capable of.
    Rachel: Yes, I’m very well aware, but I had to save your life Carl. I wasn’t going to lose you again.
    Meanwhile, outside the room, Marissa listens and mutters “Cory?”

    Bridget: I’m sure it’s not as bad as what my mom did.
    Cory: So are you saying your mom knew that Lindsay was Jake’s daughter?
    Bridget: Yep, and she didn’t tell anyone.
    Cory: Wow that sucks.
    Bridget: Big time. I don’t even wanna be in the same house with her.
    Cory: I know the feeling.

    LOVE MANSION- Donna opens the door, and Vicky slowly walks in teary eyed.
    Donna: Victoria? You look you’ve been walking through a raging windstorm. What happened? Oh no.
    Vicky nods her head and Donna embraces Vicky.
    Donna: Oh sweetheart. I’m so sorry.

    Stacey: I’m someone who wanted to respect your family.
    Jake: Oh lemme guess. You were trying to protect me.
    Stacey: Yes!
    Jake: That’s a bunch of bull.
    Stacey: Jake you have to understand. I didn’t want this to come out the way it did.
    Jake: What? Did you and Lindsay hatch a scheme to worm your way into our lives? Lindsay and Bridget spending all this time together?
    Stacey: Don’t blame Lindsay. I told her to keep quiet.
    Jake: Why?
    Stacey: Because I love you that’s why.
    Jake: YOU DON’T LOVE ME! All this was a game. You came to town to get closer to me, and you used your own daughter to do it.
    Stacey: That’s ridiculous!
    Jake: Is it?
    Stacey: You act as though I planned all of this. I didn’t. I didn’t even want to feel the way I feel about you.
    Jake: This...was a GAME! And the fact that Lindsay is my biological daughter was your trump card, and you were about to play it. You were on your way to tell me about Lindsay til Vicky stopped you right? You were coming to my house to break up my marriage.
    Stacey: Don’t you dare put that on me! Your marriage was on the rocks lonnng before I got here!
    Jake: My marriage is none of your concern. I don’t wanna see you, I don’t wanna talk to you. You’re dead to me.
    Stacey: Jake please don’t say that. I have your best interests at heart. Vicky lied to you, and I know you still have feelings for me...
    Jake: I feel nothing but CONTEMPT for you!
    Jake leaves and slams the door and Lindsay walks up to a crying Stacey, sighs, and gives her a tissue.

    Bridget: So did you find where your dad is?
    Cory: No. Iris took me to Springfield and Ms. Spaulding said that dad wasn’t in Springfield.
    Bridget: And you have no idea where your mom might have taken him?
    Cory: Nope, none.

    Donna: I hate that you’re hurting, but this isn’t the place you should be.
    Vicky: Come on mother. I know Jake doesn’t wanna see me.
    Donna: You should go home, maybe he’ll have cooled down and you two can talk.
    Vicky’s reaching in her purse…
    Vicky: This day has been one of the worst ever. You’ll never guess who I ran into earlier.
    Donna: Who?
    Vicky: Lisa Grady. Where’s my brush?

    CAVANAUGH CLINIC LAB - Lisa has a sample from Vicky’s hairbrush in a clear plastic baggie, as well as a white cup from Marissa’s room.
    Lisa: This will give me the answers I’m looking for.
    Meanwhile, Karen watches Lisa from the door.

    Marissa walks into Carl’s room…
    Carl: Hello young lady.
    Marissa: Hi.
    Rachel: Are you okay? This is the second time you’ve been to this room.
    Marissa: You know...Cory? I heard you talking about him.
    Rachel: Yes that’s our son.
    Marissa: Where does he live?
    Rachel: I’m sorry, why do you ask about him?
    Marissa: I...um...never mind….I’m sorry.
    Marissa runs out…and Rachel and Carl are confused.

    Lisa: Oh my God. This is impossible.

    Karen: Boss, Dr. McCleary is getting too close. Don’t worry, she won’t get far. I made sure of it.

    AT THE MCKINNONS...Jake slowly walks in, turns on the light, and sees Vicky sitting on the couch. She stands up and they face each other.

    Cass tells Frankie about Christy’s scheme; Carl dies…
     
    AT THE HOSPITAL
    Cass, Frankie and Charlie are at Maggie’s bedside as she has awakened.  Brianna Jameson, who kidnapped Maggie and drugged her, is watching through the rectangular glass in the door.
    Cass:  Can you try to recall some of the events?
    Maggie: Well I...left your house, got in my car, and I remember feeling a stick in my neck.  Next thing you know I...woke up here.  I’m sorry.
    Frankie:  So you can’t remember who did this to you?
    Maggie:  No.  I’m sorry I...I can’t.
    Charlie:  I’m sure it’ll come to you at some point.
    Frankie:  Well we can’t tell the police anything.  
    Charlie:  Why not?
    Frankie:  She can’t recall any of the events that happened.
    Brianna walks in.
    Brianna:  Hi.  I just wanted to check on the patient.  See how she was doing.  Dr. Winthrop.  Are you feeling any pain?  Dizziness?  
    Maggie:  I feel a little groggy, but other than that I’m fine.
    Brianna:  Well we need to take some vitals if you’ll excuse me.
    Cass:  We’ll be right outside.
    ---------------
    OUTSIDE THE ROOM…
    Cass, Frankie and Charlie commiserate.
    Frankie:  Something is off about this whole thing.  I mean she was coming to the party and she disappears for a few hours.
    Charlie:  Yeah it doesn’t sound good.
    Frankie:  I hope it isn’t one of her schemes.
    Charlie:  Maggie’s claimed that she’s changed.
    Frankie:  Old habits.  She’s still Cecile’s daughter.
    Charlie notices Frankie shaking her head.
    Charlie:  Mom what’s wrong?  Is this what you were feeling uneasy about at the party?
    Cass:  She was like this before Maggie left the house.
    Frankie:  I thought it might have been, but it’s not.  Something else is wrong.  
    Charlie:  I’m gonna get you some water.
    Cass takes Frankie and they sit down.
    Frankie:  Where were you all this time?  I was calling you.
    Cass:  That’s...that’s what I have to tell you.
    Frankie:  Tell me what?   What happened?
    Cass:   This is all Christy’s doing.
    Frankie:  Christy?  What does she have to do with this?
    Cass:  She lied to you honey.  She hasn’t changed one bit.
    ---------------------------------------
    Meanwhile, Charlie is on her cell phone with Kirkland, who is at the Corys.
    Charlie:  Something happened to Maggie.  Dad found her unconscious.
    Kirkland:  Is she alright?
    Charlie:  Seems like she’s gonna be fine.  What’s going on over there?
    Kirkland:  Carl and Rachel just came downstairs.  I’ll call you back.

    AT THE CORYS
    Carl, Rachel, Cory and Elizabeth have entered the living room, catching all the guests attention.
    Carl: I brought you all here tonight for a celebration.  A celebration of….all aspects of life; good and bad.  We all have done things that we regret, especially me, but what matters is that we have people in our lives that we love, and that love us.  I was…an angry man when I came to Bay City; bent on revenge for my son Perry’s death.  It lead to me do some horrible things to some of you, then I met Rachel.  Her love, my children…changed me.  The friendships I’ve been able to build have been absolutely priceless.  I can honestly say that I have lived a full life.  I don’t deserve any of the good that I’ve received.  What I probably did deserve, I got.
    Donna:  Carl what are you saying?
    Carl:  I am saying…that everything has come full circle.  I have glioblastoma.
    Steven gets up and approaches Rachel and Carl.
    Steven:  Grandma is this true?
    Rachel:  Yes I’m afraid so.
    Russ:  I’ve been treating him for the pain.  It’s inoperable.
    Paulina:  Carl?  What?  How?
    Carl:  The tumor I had before returned more aggressive.  Dr. Matthews and I tried everything to slow it down, but we couldn’t.
    Paulina starts to cry.
    Paulina:  Oh Rachel.  I’m so sorry.
    Paulina and Rachel hug, and then she hugs Carl, then Vicky and Donna come up to them.
    Vicky:  I can’t believe I’m hearing this.  There’s gotta be something else we can do.
    Rachel:  Thank you Vicky.  I’ll be fine.
    Donna:  I’m so sorry Rachel.  If you need anything.
    Carl:  Thank you Bella.  Come on Rachel, let’s go outside.
    Carl and Rachel walk hand in hand outside to the gazebo as everyone looks on.

    AT THE HOSPITAL
    Frankie:  What do you mean?  Why are you saying this now?
    Cass:  I’m telling you why I didn’t arrive at the party.  
    Cass shows the picture message of a bound and gagged Maggie.
    Frankie:  Oh my God.  Christy did this?  
    Cass:  It came from Maggie’s phone.
    Frankie:  What?  You think Christy had something to do with this?
    Cass:  She said if I didn’t give her what she wanted, I would never see Maggie again.
    Frankie:  Well what did she want?
    Cass:  After she got out of prison, she went to see a fertility specialist.
    Frankie: You’re telling me she wants to get pregnant?  What would you have to…?  Oh my God.  She wanted...what did she ask you to do?
    Cass:  She wanted a sperm sample.  
    Frankie:  What the hell?  She wants you to be the father of her baby.
    Cass:  That’s the whole reason she stayed in Bay City.
    Frankie:  How could she do this?  I thought she was different.
    Cass:  She had you fooled.  I knew she was up to something.
    Frankie:  Wow.  This whole evening’s been crazy.  I wonder what’s going on at the Corys.
    ----------------------------------------------
    AT THE CORYS…
    Paulina folds her arms as she looks on at Carl and Rachel and she’s teary eyed.  Jake walks up to her.
    Paulina:  This can’t be happening Jake.  Not Carl.
    Jake:  I’m sorry.
    Paulina:  I grew up in foster homes.  Out one house and into another.  I never felt like I had a family until I met Rachel.  She was so loving and accepting of me.  She welcomed me with open arms into this family.   I remember Carl came to see me in the hospital after I had given birth to Dante.  He looked like a proud grandfather.  Carl and Rachel were the parents I never had growing up.  
    Jake:  I understand.  If there’s anything I can do, let me know.
    Jake massages Paulina’s shoulders and Vicky takes notice.

    Devin Lucas approaches Cory and Elizabeth, who are standing at the back double doors of the living room watching Carl and Rachel.
    Cory:  I wonder what they’re talking about.
    Elizabeth:  Maybe we should go and see.
    Devin Lucas:  I think they...they wanna be alone right now.  I get the feeling this is..it.
    Elizabeth hits Devin Lucas in his left shoulder.
    Elizabeth:  Don’t say that!   I’m going over there.
    Cory:  Lizzie!  He’s right.  Let mom and dad have this time.

    GAZEBO
    Carl and Rachel approach the gazebo bench and they sit down next to each other.  The guests slowly file out, but stay at a short distance.  Carl and Rachel look up at the night sky as they lean on each other and smile.
    Carl:  What a beautiful night.
    Rachel:  Not a cloud in the sky.
    Carl:  Seems like I can see every star.
    Vicky takes a step toward Jake and Paulina, but someone stops her.  The same person gets Carl’s attention as Kirkland notices Vicky looking out at the gazebo, as is Kirkland.
    Kirkland:  Mom why are you looking like that?
    Vicky:  I see him.
    Kirkland:  See who?
    Vicky:  Ryan.  He dressed in white this time.  He came to me the other night.
    Kirkland:  You, too?
    Vicky:  Wait a minute.  You see him, too don’t you?
    Kirkland:  Yeah.  He came to me, too.
    Ryan waves at them.  Meanwhile Rachel, of course, cannot see Ryan.  Carl gently rests his head in Rachel arms as she straddles his long, gray hair.
    Carl:  I thought there wouldn’t be anything more peaceful than after we put Cory and Elizabeth down for a nap.
    Rachel:  I remember that.  After Cass and Lila’s wedding.
    FLASHBACK TO THE FINAL SCENE OF THE TELEVISION VERSION OF ANOTHER WORLD.
    Rachel and Carl flashback to the present as she looks down at Carl, who seems to be falling asleep.  Rachel’s eyes begin to well up, knowing that this may very well be the end for her husband.  Carl sees Ryan reaching his hand out.
    Ryan:  I came to take you with me.  It’s time Carl.
    Rachel:  All’s well.
    Carl:  That ends well.
    Rachel rocks gently while Carl rests in her arms.
    Rachel:  Carl?
    Rachel realizes that Carl has died…in her arms, as everyone looks at them from behind.  Carl, now in spirit form, looks on at Rachel, and the party guests, then walks away with Ryan into the white light.

    NINA’S HOUSE - Sebastian is on his tablet with headphones on, lip synching words to music, and Nina, who is dressed in a tan power suit, pulls back one of the earphones and yells “helloooo!”
    Sebastian: Mom!
    Nina: Oh no you’re not gonna sit around here day after day on your tablet like you did at your grandmother’s. You either work, or go to school, but I’m not gonna let you be a bum.

    AT THE HOSPITAL - Brad is talking to Lucas at the sixth floor elevators.
    Brad: How’s your mom?
    Lucas: She landed safely at Sea-Tac.
    Brad: Good. You didn’t forget our picnic today right?
    Lucas: Not at all. I’m heading to Kelly’s now.
    Brad: That’s what I do for my babe. I’ll meet you at the park later.
    They kiss as the elevator doors open, and Lucas leaves.

    PARK - The day is bright and sunny while Lulu sits on a bench with her son Rocco in his stroller. Maxie is sitting next to her.
    Lulu: You’re gonna come to my housewarming right?
    Maxie: Why wouldn’t I Lulu? Of course I am.
    Lulu: Because I’m ordering twenty slabs of ribs from The Floating Rib and mac and cheese.
    Maxie: So you’ve got jokes about Levi huh? You know he doesn’t eat any of that, and he doesn’t encourage me to eat it either.
    Lulu: Come on Maxie. This isn’t even you. You love ribs and mac and cheese. You don’t see what he’s doing to you.
    Maxie: You don’t even know him. None of you do. Not like I do. He’s caring, he’s tender, and he’s changed my life.
    Lulu: He cost you six more months with your daughter. What kind of a man does that?

    MAXIE’S APARTMENT - Levi is in the living room stretching out when his cell phone rings. He stops his yoga routine, sighs nervously, and answers it. Nathan, who just took a shower, walks to the living room unseen by Levi.

    NINA’S OFFICE - Nina is sitting at her desk on the office phone, and she flashes back to what she said to Sebastian. Tracy knocks on the door and seems to snaps Nina out of it.
    Tracy: I got what you want.
    Nina is still staring off into proverbial space.
    Nina: Tracy.
    Tracy: Where were you just a minute ago?
    Nina: I just brought my son to town, and I already see he’s gonna be a handful.
    Tracy: You seem concerned. Is there anything I can do to help? I have two sons of my own. I think I know a little bit about mothering.
    Nina: Don’t worry about it. I’ll handle Sebastian.
    Tracy: Listen. If you’re worried about him getting it right, he will. My son Dillon did. I’m sure he will, too.

    HOSPITAL 6TH FLOOR NURSE’S STATION - Felix is there typing something in one of the computers when Brad walks up all smiles, and in plain clothes instead of his lab coat. Felix, dressed in blue scrubs, stops typing and focuses on Brad.
    Felix: Where are you off to? It’s early for you to be getting off.
    Brad: Lucas and I are going out.
    Felix: Well that’s...that’s good.
    Felix refocuses himself on whatever it is that he was inputting into the computer.
    Brad: Could’ve been you ya know?
    Felix: Are you with Lucas just to stick it to me? Because if that’s true, it’s not gonna last. Go have your picnic. Lucas is far from stupid. He’s gonna notice it, and it’s really not fair to him.
    Brad: You wanted to know why I was leaving early, and I told you. Have a good day.
    Brad leaves and Epiphany walks up to Felix from behind.
    Felix: The patient in 621. I put all their charts in the system. The doctors shouldn’t have a problem finding it.
    Epiphany: Chile please I ain’t worried about that. I know you do good work.
    Felix: Thank you.
    Epiphany: But you ain’t doin’ so good with hiding your feelings for Brad.
    Felix: However true that may be, he’s with Lucas, and I’ve gotta respect that.

    KELLY’S...Lucas walks to the door with two bags in each of his hands. He leans on it so he can open it, but as he leans, Sebastian opens the door with his left hand, and puts his right hand to Lucas to stop him from falling. Lucas quickly turns around, and seems captivated.
    Lucas: Thank you. That would’ve been bad if I’d fallen and spilled this.
    Sebastian: You’re welcome. You must be having a party. I don’t think you’re gonna eat that all by yourself.
    Lucas: No it’s for me and…
    Sebastian: Your boyfriend?
    Lucas: Yeah.
    Sebastian smiles.
    Sebastian: Lucky him.

    Maxie: That was a while ago. He’s tried to make it up to me ever since.
    Lulu: Maxie I can’t believe how blind you are to him. He told the judge that Nathan lied on your behalf, and you have to wait to see Georgie because of it.
    Maxie: If I hadn’t thrown away the court notice, nobody would have had to lie. It was all my fault.
    Lulu: Let me guess, Levi got you to see that, right? Put the onus back on you.
    Maxie: It was my fault Lulu. Why can’t you see that Levi is good for me?
    Lulu: Because he’s not. Any man who will cause a woman to lose their kid is no good for anyone.

    Levi just answered his cell phone while Nathan listens.
    Levi: You’ll have to give me more time. I’m doing what I can do. I think I’ve done well considering the circumstances. Things are coming together.

    IN THE CORY LIVING ROOM
    Dr. Russ Matthews is off in a corner on his cell phone.
    Russ:  Iris it’s me.
    Iris:  Hey how are you?
    Russ:  I dunno.  
    Iris:  Is everything alright?
    Russ:  No.  I can’t say it is.
    Iris:  You’re at the Corys right?
    Russ:  Yeah.
    Iris:  What happened?
    Russ:  Carl just passed away.

    Three of Carl’s surviving children (Cory, Elizabeth, and Devin Lucas) all emerge from the small crowd.
    Elizabeth:  Daddy.  Daddy!
    She runs up to Carl and Rachel.  Rachel is holding her husband still, who has just passed away.
    Elizabeth:  Do something mom!  Call 9-1-1.  Somebody call 9-1-1!  Daddy!  Daddy wake up!
    Cory:  Lizzie…
    Elizabeth:  How could you do this?  How could you let him die?
    Devin gets Elizabeth.
    Devin (with tears in his eyes): He’s gone Elizabeth.  Dad is dead.
    Elizabeth:  Don’t say that!  Don’t you ever say something like that!  Nooo..noooooo!
    Elizabeth breaks down and Devin hugs his sister tightly..
    The paramedics arrive at the gazebo with a gurney.
    Paramedic #1:  We’ve come to get Mr. Hutchins.
    Elizabeth:  No!  No you’re not taking my daddy!
    Cory:  Let them do their jobs Lizzie.
    Elizabeth:  No!  
    Cory holds Elizabeth back as Rachel watches in sadness.  The paramedics put Carl’s body on the gurney and cover it with a sheet.  Elizabeth, in tears, breaks free of Cory’s hold, runs to the gurney, and lifts the sheet up to see Carl’s face.
    Rachel:  Elizabeth don’t do this.
    Elizabeth:  No.  This isn’t happening.  Daddy...don’t go.  Daddy!
    Rachel:  They have to take him honey.
    Rachel goes and embraces Elizabeth as the paramedics wheel Carl out of the gazebo.

    Gregory and Lindsay watch as all unfolded.  Gregory holds her.
    Lindsay:  My God this is so sad.
    Gregory:  I feel so bad for them.  They lost their dad.  I don’t know what I’d do if I lost mine.
    Lindsay:  Don’t talk like that.  You’re not gonna lose your father.
    Meanwhile, Russ approaches John and Sharlene
    John:  So you were treating him?
    Russ:  I was just trying to make him comfortable.  There was nothing we could do about the tumor.
    Sharlene:  I’m sure Rachel appreciates it…and Carl.  Those poor kids.  They’re too young to lose their father, and Frankie.  Frankie was just getting to know him, and it’s all just cut short.  This just isn’t fair.
    John rubs Sharlene shoulders.
    John:  This reminds me of when we thought we lost you.  I wouldn’t want anyone to go through this.
    Sharlene:  I survived, but Carl didn’t.

    OUTSIDE, Matt and Amanda are with Rachel in the gazebo.
    Matt:  Mom.  Do you need anything?
    Rachel:  No honey I…I just want to sit out here for a minute.
    Amanda:  We’ll be inside.
    Rachel:  Will you check on Cory and Elizabeth for me?
    Amanda:  Okay.
    Matt and Amanda go inside, as Felicia comes out and sits on Rachel’s right on the gazebo bench, and Paulina comes out and sits on Rachel’s left.  Paulina clenches Rachel’s left hand, and Felicia clenches Rachel’s right hand.

    Lindsay:  I’m gonna get something out of my car.  I’ll be back.
    Gregory:  Okay.

    Meanwhile, out the front door, Devin Lucas is with Lorna pacing back and forth.
    Lorna:  Are you gonna be okay son?
    Devin Lucas:  Yeah…I just wanna be out here for a minute.
    Lorna:  I’ll…go see about mom.
    Lorna goes in, and Devin Lucas paces faster, and breaks down crying.  Lindsay opens the front door and sees Devin Lucas, whose back is turned to the front door.  He turns around and sees Lindsay, and quickly wipes his tear soaked face.
    Lindsay:  I’m…I’m sorry about your dad.
    Devin Lucas:  What did you come out here for?
    Lindsay:  I was going to my car to get something.
    Devin Lucas:  Don’t let me stop you.
    Devin goes inside as Lindsay looks at him.

    CORY’S ROOM
    Cory sits on his bed.  Amanda  walks in and sits next to him.  The two are silent and Amanda breaks it.
    Amanda:  You know, for what it’s worth I know what you’re going through.
    Cory:  I don’t...know what to feel.  It’s almost like I don’t feel anything.  Shouldn’t I feel something?
    Amanda:  You’re in shock.  We all are.  
    Cory:  I’ve been expecting this.  Dad told us he was dying, and now he’s gone.
    Amanda:  You’re a strong kid.  And we’re gonna need to band together for mom.
    ---------------------------------
    Matt knocks on Elizabeth’s door.  Elizabeth sits in a chair next to the bed and Matt sits on the bed.
    Elizabeth:  Did mom send you?
    Matt:  No.  I know what it’s like to lose a dad though.   You should take comfort in the fact that Carl got to spend his last days with you, Cory and Devin Lucas.
    Elizabeth:  I’m sorry that you weren’t able to do that.
    Matt:  Hold on to those memories.  My dad adopted me and raised me as his own.  It still hurts sometimes.
    Elizabeth:  Is it gonna feel like this all the time?  Is it always gonna be this painful?
    Matt:  I know you don’t believe it now but it gets easier.  You’ll start to do what your dad would want you to do.  I don’t think Carl wants you to be sad forever.  
    Elizabeth:  I...shouldn’t have lashed out at mom like that.
    Matt:  I’m sure she understands. She’s lost another husband.  She’s gonna need us.

    Russ is on his cell phone with Iris.
    Russ:  I know there was no love lost between you and Carl so I don’t expect you to shed any tears.
    Iris:  Still it’s...devastating for his children...and Rachel.
    Russ walks to the gazebo and see Rachel with Paulina and Felicia.
    Russ:  Rachel’s lost Mac and now Carl.  She’s gotta be so devastated.  Looks like she’s in good hands though.

    Rachel:  Felicia.  How did you deal with it?  Twice.
    Felicia:  I really couldn’t tell you.  Zane and Lucas.  This is different for you than it was for me.  Both of my husbands were shot to death.  You got to spend your last moments with your husband at home.  Hold on to that.
    Rachel:  Paulina?
    Paulina:  I’ve learned to live without Joe.  Every time I see Dante, I smile, and I’m happy, and proud, but a part of me still gets sad, because I see his father.  I start remembering our lives together.  I know I don’t have to tell you how to deal with that right.
    Rachel:  No.  This is helping.  I thought I would never find love after Mac died, but I did.   Carl pursued me.  I resisted, and resisted…
    Felicia:  So did we.
    Rachel:  Carl and I had our ups and downs, but we had a beautiful life together.
    Paulina:  You have two wonderful children.
    Felicia:  Carl lives on in them, and in my grandson.  
    Paulina:  Carl was like the father I never had.  His impact will always be felt in all of us.  We will definitely miss him.
    Felicia and Paulina each lean on Rachel’s shoulders as they look up at the sky.

    Donna: She came here last night and she was devastated. Yes she’s gonna need us. I told her to go home and work things out with Jake, just like I told you after you found out about Tyrone’s affair, and now you’re gonna have a baby, and to think the doctors told you all those years ago that you couldn’t have children. I should be a marriage counselor.

    AT THE MCKINNONS...Jake is at the front door, and Vicky is standing next to the couch, and Jake shuts the door behind him. He walks slowly toward her, and sits on the couch, and Vicky sits next to him. He puts his right arm around her, and she leans on his right shoulder.
    Jake: Do you remember LJHS?
    Vicky: Lassiter Junior High School.
    Jake: That day we snuck out of third period.
    Vicky: We took a bus to Pittsburgh.
    Jake: Bridget gave you your allowance the day before.
    Vicky: How soon we forget. It WAS winter. I got paid for shoveling five driveways. You only did four.
    Jake: You still won’t let me live that down.
    Vicky: I just had to have those designer jeans. No store in Lassiter had them.
    Jake: There were only two big department stores in town.
    Vicky: But Bridget didn’t understand why we had to go to Pittsburgh.
    Jake: And she called my mom and I got grounded for skipping school.
    Vicky: Well I didn’t exactly escape unscathed. I got grounded, too...for two months, because I told her I was at cheerleading practice. Bridget Connell HATED when I…
    Vicky lifts her head and looks at Jake, realizing why he rehashed this story...
    Jake: Go ahead and say it Vicky.
    Vicky: You tricked me.
    Jake: SAY IT!
    Vicky: How dare you!
    Jake: How dare YOU...LIE to ME! We were best friends since grade school. You’re my wife, we raised Steven and Kirkland. We had two beautiful twin daughters.
    Vicky: And THAT’S why I didn’t say anything about Lindsay.
    Jake: WHY Vicky? I’m your husband. What was the matter? You didn’t trust me?
    Vicky: Trust had nothing to do with what I did.
    Jake: It had everything to do with it Vicky. I had another daughter out there, and you knew about it, and said...nothing.
    Vicky: Remember the part you just said about us being best friends, raising the boys, and the girls. It’s our family. THAT’S what I was protecting!
    Jake: Is that your excuse?
    Vicky: Stacey wants you, and she has this notion that she, you and Lindsay are gonna be a family. I wasn’t gonna let that happen.
    Jake: So you decided that I wasn’t strong enough to handle the truth.
    Vicky: Can you at least try to see it from my point of view?
    Jake: I can’t.
    Vicky: You won’t is what you mean? It’s like you’re TRYING to find a reason.
    Jake: Reason for what?
    Vicky: A reason to quit again! You didn’t even want me to know that Stacey came here and professed her love for you.
    Jake: I didn’t want this. This reaction, this tension.
    Vicky: We had just gotten things back to normal. I didn’t even know if we would make it after Michelle died...because YOU walked out! Did you think things were gonna be perfect?
    Jake: You disowned our daughter in front of everyone!
    Vicky: And Bridget and I got past it. YOU didn’t want to fight for our family, but I do!
    Her eyes well up…
    Vicky: I value what we have, Jake. You made a woman out of me. I was all over the place before we got married. I schemed to get Jamie; married Grant when I was in love with Ryan, then Shane.
    Jake: I remember, but YOU forgot. I stuck by you while you vacillated between your feelings for Shane and your feelings for me.
    Vicky: You did, and that’s why I kept the truth from you. I don’t want to lose our family.

    Jake: Same lame excuse.
    Vicky: After everything we’ve been through, do you think I’m gonna just give you up to Stacey?
    Jake: Don’t bring Stacey into this.
    Vicky: Why not? She would like nothing more than for you to go running to her.
    Jake: Stacey is not the problem. It’s you not trusting me. I’m scared Vick.
    Vicky: I DO trust you, it’s HER I don’t trust.
    Jake: For God’s sake you’re blaming Stacey for the problems that we are having. It shows that you don’t even see it.
    Vicky: You’re saying I don’t trust you. Are you sure you’re not projecting how YOU really feel about our marriage?
    Jake: What Stacey said was not something you needed to know about.
    Vicky: Ahhh there it is! It takes two, Jake. As much as you say I don’t trust you, it’s YOU who doesn’t trust me.
    Jake: I do trust you.
    Vicky: No you don’t. You walked out on us once before, and it seems like you wanna do it again because I made a mistake. You aren’t even trying to understand why I didn’t tell you about Lindsay being your daughter. I wanted to protect our family, and YOU didn’t want me to know about Stacey being here. I’m scared, too.
    Jake: I didn’t go to great lengths to deceive you. You didn’t even want me to remember what happened in Los Angeles! You lied over and over again.
    Bridget comes to the top of the stairs…
    Vicky: So let me ask you, what do you want to do? Do you wanna stay and fight with me? Or are you gonna walk out on us again?
    Bridget runs downstairs to the living room.
    Bridget: Dad tell me you’re not gonna leave us again!
    Jake looks back and forth at Vicky and Bridget…

    KC: All I got from them were acknowledgement letters. BCU is actually moving forward. I think I wanna go there.
    Toni: But NYU and UCLA are better schools.
    KC: BCU has a great program, you’re here, and mom’s not too far away.
    Toni: You can’t make a decision based on family. You have to do what’s best for you.
    KC: I’m getting the feeling you don’t want me to attend school in Bay City. I wonder why.
    Allen walks up to them.
    Allen: Hey Toni.
    Toni: Umm...hey. Uh, you haven’t met K.C.

    Someone rings the doorbell, and Tyrone answers it.
    Tyrone: Hey Donna.
    Donna: Tyrone nice to see you.
    Marley sits up and Donna walks in.

    Donna: Don’t shut the door yet Tyrone. I’ve come bearing one big gift.

    Charlie: That...uh...we’re gonna get married?
    Kirkland: That means we can...set a date.
    Charlie: I say...the sooner the better. It means so much that he’ll be giving me away.
    Kirkland: I need to thank him personally.
    Charlie: I really think that since Christy Carson wasn’t granted parole, dad’s felt good about giving me his endorsement.

    Kirkland: Yep you better.
    Charlie: You know what I’m sure you two wanna catch up, so I’m gonna go to the Center. I’ll catch up with you later babe.
    Charlie kisses her fiance and says goodbye to Steven.

    Steven: I was gonna offer you congratulations.

    Sharlene: Tell me Steven. What did Janice see?
    Steven: I’m glad you’re lying down.
    Sharlene: How bad is it?
    Steven: Brace yourself.

    CAVANAUGH CLINIC - Carl is packing up his suitcase and Rachel walks in, and Rachel smiles.
    Rachel: Look at you. Up and about.
    Carl: I had no idea when this would happen.
    Rachel: I know that you don’t agree with the method in which I did it, but I had to save your life. I wasn’t going to lose you again.
    Carl: It’s okay my darling.
    Carl puts his arms around his wife...
    Rachel: I’ve already called Elizabeth. Needless to say she’s very thrilled. As I’m sure Cory will be.
    Carl: He might not be too happy to know that you lied about my whereabouts.
    Rachel: I did it to protect him. I hope he’ll understand it.
    Carl: How do you explain that to him without telling him?
    Rachel: That Reginald Love is still alive? I have no idea.
    Carl: I guess we’ll figure it out on the way home.
    Rachel: Before we go, there’s one thing I have to do first.

    REGINALD’S OFFICE - Reginald is with Karen…
    Reginald: Where’s Michele?
    Karen: I don’t know.
    Reginald: What do you mean you don’t know?
    Karen: I was going to give her a sedative, and I guess that’s when Lisa knocked me out. When I came to, she was gone.
    Reginald: Well I think you need to find her.
    Karen: I told you that Lisa is not going to get far.
    Reginald: What are you talking about? What did you do?
    Karen: I cut her brake cables.
    Reginald: What?
    Karen: She should be in a ditch by now.
    Reginald, to Karen’s surprise, grabs and squeezes her arm.
    Reginald: What if she had Michele with her!?
    Karen: I...I...don’t think…
    Reginald: That’s the problem!
    Karen: Mr. Love you’re hurting me…
    Reginald: You’d better get out there and find her, because if something happens to my great-granddaughter, God help you.
    Reginald lets her go just as Rachel knocks on the door, and walks in.
    Rachel: I’m sorry did I interrupt something?
    Reginald: No...the nurse was just leaving.
    Karen runs out and Reginald turns his attentions to Rachel...

    Meanwhile, Lisa’s car is in a ditch. Lisa is in the driver’s seat, still unconscious with blood on her face. Michele (formerly Marissa) is in the passenger’s seat. She was unconscious but has come to, and looks at Lisa is horror. Michele has recovered her memories.
    Michele: Lisa? Lisa wake up. Oh God.
    She then reaches for Lisa’s cell phone, and sees that it has a small amount of battery left.
    Michele: No...no signal. Gotta get help.

    Cory: Hey Bridget what’s up?
    Bridget: I needed your help with filling out this class schedule for BCU.
    Bridget takes out her tablet…
    Bridget: It keeps saying that I haven’t selected enough classes.
    Cory (looking at Bridget’s tablet): You haven’t.
    Bridget: How’s that? I mean, do you see these classes? They’re grayed out.
    Cory: Because those are mandatory freshman courses. You can only choose the electives.
    Bridget: Oh. That’s it.
    Cory: Yeah, duh.
    Bridget: I wish I was more like Michele when it comes to these things. She was like super smart.
    Cory: That’s true.
    Cory’s cell phone rings and he looks at it.
    Cory: What number is this?
    Bridget: Why don’t you answer it?
    Cory: Amanda tells me I shouldn’t answer numbers I don’t recognize.
    Cory presses “ignore”, but he has no idea that Michele was the one calling him from Lisa’s phone.
    Michele: Cory. Cory it’s me. Please you gotta help me.
    Michele is right outside the car. She looks at the phone and realizes it’s dead, then Lisa begins to wake up, but she is weak.
    Lisa: Michele.
    Michele runs to her.
    Michele: Lisa? Lisa come on we gotta get outta here. You gotta get some medical attention.
    Lisa: Take my phone.
    Michele: It just died.
    Lisa: Go. Get some help.
    Michele: I can’t leave you here.
    Lisa: I’ll be fine. You go. Go home.
    Michele: No...Lisa...no..
    Lisa gets weaker as she moves her head back and forth, then suddenly she stops moving and closes her eyes.
    Michele: Lisa. Lisa wake up please. Stay with me! Lisa! Lisa!

    Sharlene: Is that true? Reginald killed Evan?
    Steven: That’s what Janice told me. I’m glad you let her out.
    Sharlene: Wow.
    Steven: She said she saw my great grandfather strangle Evan with a pole.
    Sharlene: Why did he do it? Did Janice say anything about that?
    Steven: She didn’t go into detail about it, just that she wanted revenge. She wanted to atone for not saving Evan’s life.
    Sharlene gets up and looks away from Steven. She seems a bit dumbfounded.
    Sharlene: So she poisoned Reginald to death. I killed someone.
    Steven: You didn’t do this. Janice did it. You can’t blame yourself for this. This is a breakthrough. Before we can integrate you, you have to accept the fact that you are not responsible for Reginald’s death, or for anything that Janice did.
    Sharlene: Did she say anything about Carl?
    Steven: Carl Hutchins?
    Sharlene: Yes. She poisoned him, too.
    Steven: She did a lot of damage.
    Sharlene: You see why I was hesitant to have you bring her out.
    Steven: What else did she do?
    Sharlene: She stabbed Mitch and tried to kill your grandmother.

    Reginald: Rachel Cory Hutchins. It’s been a while since we last saw each other.
    Rachel: It was in your suite before you ate your poisoned food.
    Reginald: Shame. That meal was rather tasty.
    Rachel: I came to...thank you.
    Reginald: For what?
    Rachel: Saving my husband’s life. If it weren’t for you, he wouldn’t be alive.
    Reginald: I’ve always had a great deal of respect for you Rachel. Even though you used blackmail to do it.
    Rachel: I did what I had to do to save Carl’s life.
    Reginald: I understand.
    Rachel: But I do have to ask you something.
    Reginald: What is it?
    Rachel: How did you survive that poisoning after lying there so long?
    Reginald chuckles.
    Reginald: Mrs. Hutchins, I survived a fall off a clock tower. Did you really think a few drops of a neurotoxin could kill me?
    Rachel: You sound like you have a feeling of invincibility.
    Reginald: That’s because I do.
    Rachel: How did you do it?
    Reginald: I trust that you will keep your promise, because you love your family, because what I’m about to tell you, you mustn’t tell anyone.
    Rachel: You have my word.
    Reginald: Do you remember the Secret Garden?
    Rachel: That sounds familiar. Wait a minute. That has something to do with Jordan Stark. He was trying to take my daughter with him, and I wouldn’t let him. Do you know about him?
    Reginald: Know about him? I know him.
    Rachel: I don’t understand.
    Reginald: I took over. I am the Head of the Lumina Foundation.

    MCKINNONS HOUSE -
    Jake comes downstairs while Vicky is in the living room surfing the web. Jake massages her shoulders.
    “Are you still shaken about that dream?” he asks.
    “Oh you mean the one I had the other night about you being shot by an Irish nanny, and me having the twins in the middle of nowhere. No I’m over that.” replies Vicky.
    “Just one big nightmare.”
    Vicky comes across Bay City High’s website and unbeknownst to them, Bridget walks in.
    “Look at this. Jake…Michele is getting straight A’s.” Vicky marvels.
    “That’s our girl..”
    “I wish Bridget could be more like her. Less worry for us.”
    Bridget interrupts them.
    “Wow mom, dad. Tell me how you really feel.”
    Bridget runs up to her room in disgust and Jake follows.
    ---------------------------------------
    BAY CITY CENTER
    Donna sips on her coffee when she is accosted by an unwanted visitor…her father Reginald Love. “Donna, my beautiful daughter.” he says. Donna looks at him, and back down at her coffee. “I was having a good day, and I’d like to keep it that way.” she spits. Reginald asks why Donna doesn’t want to see her father. She answers by rehashing the past about him keeping Mary McKinnon away from her family, and how he passed off Vicky as her sister.
    “So what are you doing here? Waiting for a man?” Reginald asks.
    “Don’t you have anything else to do?”
    “Donna my dear, I’m just looking out for you. I mean let’s face it you haven’t made the best choices in men, especially stable boy.”
    Donna jumps up immediately and tells Reginald to shut up.

    CORY’S LIVING ROOM
    Rachel and Amanda commiserate about a common interest.
    “Mom I have the sales figures.” says Amanda, who gives her papers.
    “My goodness. This isn’t good.”
    Rachel is not pleased with the numbers from Cory Publishing.
    Amanda adds that a lot of people are e-publishing and cutting them out as the middle man. She suggests they get competitive with the times.
    “What about our long standing clients?” Rachel asks.
    “I’ve placed some calls, but I really need some help at the company. I don’t have time for the marketing.”
    Rachel agrees with Amanda and instructs her to look over the job site for resumes and open up a marketing position at the company..

    “Can I come in?” asks Jake to his daughter. Jake goes and sits at Bridget’s desk, while Bridget lies on the bed.
    “Bridget your mom and I love you…equally.” says Jake.
    “Really? Why isn’t mom up here talking to me? She’s the one who said that I should be more like Michele.”
    Jake defends his wife saying that she really didn’t mean it that way, but Bridget is defiant and insists that Vicky favors Michele over Bridget.
    Meanwhile, downstairs, Michele arrives home, knapsack in tow, and Vicky greets her.
    “Hi honey. How was school?” Vicky asks.
    “We had debate team today.” Michele replies, “I’m tired. I can’t wait until graduation.”
    Vicky playfully pleads with Michele that she’s not ready for her to leave home yet, that she remembers like yesterday when she had her and Bridget.
    “You both have grown up so fast. Where did the time go?”
    They both start tearing up and hug.
    Back upstairs, Jake tries to comfort Bridget.
    “That’s not it.” says Jake, “Your mother loves you so much. You and your sister. Like I do.”
    “Dad you always know how to make me feel better.”
    “That’s what daddies are for.”
    ------------------------------
    “Michael had more class, and dignity than you’ll ever have.” spits Donna.
    “And if the stable boy was so upstanding, why did you lie and cheat on him so much?” asks Reginald, “I mean you then chose Matt Cory, and Grant Harrison. The buffoonery just continues.”
    Donna says with a father like Reginald no wonder she’s made bad choices in men. Michael was her best choice. Reginald further taunts her by saying he will teach Bridget and Michele how to make better choices than she did. Donna vehemently warns him to stay away from her granddaughters.

    Cass gets an ominous text message; Michele is further infuriated by Bridget
     
    LOVE MANSION
    Allen walks downstairs dressed in a black tuxedo, white shirt, and a black bowtie.  He gets a phone call on his cell.
    Allen:  Hello?  What?  Oh man that’s...that’s the best news.  My mother is cancer free.  Thank you unc.
    He hangs up smiling and Michele opens the door with her key.  Michele is also wearing a sequin dress.
    Allen:  Hey Michele.
    Michele:  Hi Allen.  You look nice...and happy.
    Allen:  Your Aunt Nicole is cancer free.  That’s the best news.  
    Michele:  Wow that’s...that’s wonderful.
    Allen:  Hey if you’re looking for Donna and Michael you just missed them.  They left for the party about twenty minutes ago.
    Michele:  I actually was looking for Bridget.
    Allen:  No Bridget went with them.  What are you doing here?  Shouldn’t you be heading to the party?
    Michele:  I left something here.  I just came back to get it.
    Allen:  Oh well...I’m gonna hurry up and go meet Amanda.  See ya later.
    Michele:  Sure.
    Michele immediately goes upstairs and heads straight for Bridget’s room.

    BRIDGET’S BEDROOM.
    Michele looks around and goes straight for Bridget’s laptop.  She sticks a USB in the side, presses a few buttons, and begins to download information.
    Michele:  What are you up to Bridget?

    CORY MANSION
    Cory is in his bedroom fixing his bowtie when Bridget peeks in.  Cory turns around and his eyes widen as Bridget is wearing a sequin dress with black heels.
    Cory:  You look...so beautiful.
    Bridget walks up to him and wraps her arms around him.
    Bridget:  Thank you Mr. Handsome.  
    After their embrace, Cory turns back to the mirror and continues to adjust his bowtie.
    Bridget:  What’s wrong babe?  Something on your mind?
    Cory:  Tonight’s the night.
    Bridget:  For what?
    Cory:  I’m not supposed to tell anyone.  I’ve been keeping it to myself since I got the news.
    Bridget:  Cory?  What’s going on?  Is everything okay?
    Cory:  You can’t breathe a word of this to anyone.
    Bridget:  Of course not, but you’re scaring me.  
    Cory:  It’s the reason my dad is throwing this party.  He’s gonna tell everyone that he’s dying.
    Bridget:  Oh....oh no...I’m so sorry.
    Bridget throws her arms around Cory.
    Bridget:  Is there anything I can do?
    Cory:  You’re...doing more than enough.
    Bridget:  Does anyone else know?
    Cory:  Well Devin already knew.
    Bridget:  Devin?  Who’s Devin?
    Cory:  My half brother.  Long story.  Mom and dad told Lizzie, Matt and Amanda.  I don’t think they told Paulina or Frankie though.

    Frankie walks up to the front door of the Cory Mansion and she is talking on her cell phone with Cass who is in his car.  He is talking through the car’s bluetooth.
    Frankie:  When do you think you’re gonna get here?
    Cass:  I’m on my way.  I had to stop at the office for a quick minute.
    Frankie:  Well...please hurry.  I...I need you.
    Cass:  Frankie what’s going on?
    Frankie:  I’m not feeling great about...anything.  Ever since Maggie left the house.
    Cass:  Honey just go in, mingle a bit.  That should take your mind off of whatever it is you’re feeling.
    Frankie:  I’m real nervous about tonight.  Some things are going to happen, and they won’t be good.
    Cass:  Go inside.  I’ll be there in a minute okay.  
    Frankie:  Love you.
    Cass:  Love you, too.

    Brianna has a cell phone, and a picture of Maggie, who is bound, gagged, and unconscious lying on a cot.   She sends the picture, along with text, to someone.

    Cass:  What the…?
    It’s the picture of Maggie, and a text that says:  If you want to see your daughter again, come down to the warehouse downtown...alone.
    Cass:  No...Maggie?

    Michele is on Bridget’s computer sifting through the information that she downloaded onto the USB she stuck in the side of the laptop, and she is shocked what she sees.
              Michele:  That...bitch!

    Bridget:  They told the family first.  Wow I’m so sorry.  I know you just got your dad
    back.  Now you’re gonna lose him again.  I don’t know what to say.
    Cory:  It isn’t fair you know?
    Bridget:  It’s not.
    Cory:  My dad fought so hard to come back to us, and now he’s gonna be taken
    away again, and he’s not coming back this time.
    Bridget:  I wouldn’t even know what I’d do if I lost my dad.
    Cory:  You would do what I would do; be there for you.
    Bridget:  I wish there was something I could do to keep your dad for you.
    Cory:  His brain tumor is spreading rapidly.  There’s nothing anyone can do.
    Bridget:  Oh Cory.  I’m so sorry.  
                           Cory:  I would have told you sooner but my mom and dad didn’t want us to tell anyone.
                                Bridget:  I understand.  Hey maybe if we....go downstairs it’ll help you feel a little better.
                                Cory:  I’ll think I’ll...stay up here for a minute.
    Bridget:  Okay.  I’ll go to the gazebo.

    Meanwhile, downstairs in the foyer, Matt is on his cell phone facing the living room.
    Matt:  Hey Nurse Brianna.  It’s Matt Cory.  Just givin’ you a call, and see when you want that personalized Bay City tour we talked about at the hospital.  Talk to you later.  Gimme a call back.
    Matt hangs up, turns around and greets Frankie, who flashes a pensive smile.
    Matt:  Frankie hey.
    Frankie:  Matthew.
    Matt:  Oh no, something’s definitely on your mind.
    Frankie looks around.
    Frankie:  Hey have you heard from Maggie?
    Matt:  No, but I’m sure she’ll be along shortly.  Why?
    Frankie: I don’t...I don’t know how to explain it.  Something’s wrong.
    Matt:  Oh...come on she’s probably just taking her time getting dressed.  Call her.
    Frankie:  Good idea.
    Frankie takes out her cell phone and calls Maggie’s phone.

    ROOM
    Brianna looks at Maggie’s phone vibrating.  Brianna presses “ignore”.  
    Brianna:  Maggie’s not available to take your call right now.

    Frankie:  No answer.
    Matt:  Frankie you seem really nervous.
    Frankie:  She came to our house earlier, and ever since she left, I haven’t felt right.  Something is wrong.
    Matt:  Have you talked to Cass?
    Frankie:  He said he was on his way.  He should be here by now.

    WAREHOUSE
    Cass walks into a dimly lit room, looks around.
    Cass:  Maggie!   Maggie where are you?
    Suddenly, Christy, dressed in all black, walks into the room behind Cass.
    Christy:  You don’t get to see Maggie yet.
    Cass turns around.
    Cass:  You!  What the hell have you done with my daughter?
    Christy:  Don’t worry, Maggie’s safe...for now.
    Cass grabs Christy’s arms and shakes her.
    Cass:  If you hurt Maggie I’ll kill you..
    Christy:  Let me go!  
    Cass:  Where’s Maggie?
    Christy:  You will see Maggie again, provided I get what I want.
    Cass:  I knew you were up to something.  
    Christy:  And now you’re gonna find out.  The whole reason why I stayed in Bay City after I got out of that criminal mental facility.
    Cass:  I don’t care.  I wanna see Maggie.
    Christy:  Maggie is safe.
    Cass:  I’m gonna have you arrested for kidnapping.  I’m calling the police.
    Christy:  If you want to see your daughter, you will put that phone away.
    Cass:  Tell me where she is!
    Christy:  I’m not telling you yet, not until I get what I dreamed of ever since I was committed.  It’s why I killed Douglas.  I had to get him out of the way.
    Cass slowly puts his phone away as Christy begins to tell a story.
    Christy:  All of his attempts to get me to see reality; telling me that I shouldn’t be in love with you.  I got tired of him telling me that.  Doesn’t he realize that the heart wants what it wants!
    Cass:  You didn’t love me.  You were obsessed with me!
    Christy:  When I danced in Mary Frances’s wedding dress, I envisioned you and I...married.  Then we would do the things that married people do.  A house; black picket fence.  I hate white fences.  They get dirty way too easily and they’re too much maintenance.  After all of that, we would have a child.
    Christy reaches into her pocket and takes a small cup out.
    Christy:  When I got taken away to that facility, I wondered how it would ever happen, but here we are.
    Cass:  Get to the point Christy!
    Christy:  It’s time Cass.  It’s time for me...to have a baby.

    Marley:  Suddenly I got this…burst.  I just decided to start cleaning the house.

    Cass:  What do you mean you don’t know?  Christy clearly isn’t the changed person you thought she was.
    Frankie:  Maggie was kidnapped before and she wasn’t exactly cooperative in being rescued.  How do you know she didn’t do it again?
    Cass:  Are you serious?  Why would she even do that this time?
    Frankie:  I don’t know.  That’s a question we’d have to ask her.
    Cass:  I can’t believe you’re even bringing this up.
    Frankie:  I’m not saying that’s what Maggie did, but you have to consider the possibility.
    Cass:  That’s ridiculous.  Christy needed leverage to get what she wanted, and Maggie was it.
    Frankie takes the tea tray over to Maggie and gently places it on the coffee table.
    Frankie:  This should help you feel better.
    Maggie:  Thank you Frankie.
    Frankie:  So you don’t remember anything about the kidnapping?
    Maggie:  I remember leaving here, getting in my car, then waking up in the hospital.  That’s all.
    Charlie:  Nothing at all you can recall?
    Maggie:  No Charlie I can’t.
    Frankie:  Any distinct scents or smells or…
    Maggie:  Why do I get the feeling you’re trying to say something else?
    Frankie:  I’m just asking…
    Cass:  She thinks you staged it.

    Steven:  Good, because I told her how I felt about you.
    Joy:  You did?
    Steven:  Of course I did.  It’s time she accepted you.
    Joy:  I..had no idea that Donna was your grandmother.  This really is a small town.

    Joy walks out of the waiting area and Steven turns to Vicky.
    Steven:  What the hell is wrong with you?
    Vicky:  I can’t believe you’re getting involved with her.  She’s going to hurt you.
    Steven:  The only person hurting me is you.
    Vicky:  I am your mother, and I’m not gonna sit here and watch her tear your life like she did Marley and Tyrone.
    Steven:  I’m gonna call grandma Rachel and see how she’s doing.

    Donna:  You know Michael...this is bittersweet.  Marley’s giving birth, and she’s got her family here.  Nobody waiting to separate her from her child like my father did to me.
    Michael:  We can’t dwell on the past now.  Marley knows that we’re all here for her.  We’re gonna make sure that our grandson is protected.
    Donna:  Do you think Reginald is gonna try to pull something?
    Michael:  Wouldn’t put it past him.  He tried to kidnap Bridget.  I’ve got people watching.  Nothing’s gonna happen to Marley or the baby.
    John walks up to them in scrubs, a hairpiece and a mask.
    Donna:  John where’s Marley?
    John:  Follow me.  I’m headed there now.
    They all follow John.  John goes into the delivery room to join Brianna Jameson and the other nurses.

    Last we saw Thomasina Todd, she, her husband Carter Todd, and her baby Grant Todd II left for Los Angeles in 1986 so she could take pre-med at UCLA.  She is now a doctor, and will be involved in a major storyline.  Has been mentioned many times by Joy Kramer.  Her husband, Grant Todd, was unintentionally poisoned to death by Carl Hutchins.
    RENEE ELISE GOLDSBERRY as Dana Kramer
    Dana is still an attorney but will be a very different kind upon her return.  Her first order of business will be helping her half sister Joy.
    FINN WITTROCK as Neil Collins
    Neil will be Dana's understudy, as he is in pre-law, but will also have a connection that will be revealed later.
    KENDRICK SAMPSON (Grant Todd II)

    Mitch:  Lorna did say she had a surprise for ya.
    Felicia:  Did she ever?  I never ever knew, or had any reason to think that she and Carl had a son..my grandson.  All grown up.  In the living room.
    Mitch:  I see all those grandparenty instincts kicking in.  Like I told you at Tops.
    Felicia:  Words can’t describe how I feel right now.  I thought I’d never be so ecstatic to find out that I’m a grandmother.

    Devin Lucas:  Felicia’s everything you said she is.
    Lorna:  One of the best people I’ve ever known.
    Carl:  Fiercely loyal to those she loves.  You’ll be lucky to have your grandmother here.
    Devin Lucas:  She said I looked...like ‘him’.  Was she talking about my grandfather Lucas?
    Lorna:  Yes.  She loved him with all of her heart.  
    Carl:  Just like we...love you, son.
    Devin Lucas:  Why now though?  Why is this the only time I’m gonna get to spend with my dad?  
    Carl:  It took me that long to pay off Lucas’s creditors.
    Lorna:  We had to protect you honey.  They would have come after you.  Carl called me and told me that it was safe for you to come to Bay City.
    Devin Lucas:  All those years of boarding schools.  The only way I could communicate with my dad was by letters, emails, and then texts.
    Lorna:  I’m sorry that it had to be that way, but we had to protect you.  
    Devin Lucas:  I get it.  
    Lorna:  I love you more than anything else in this world honey.  I was such a hardened, tough girl, but you made me melt.  You made me become a mother.
    Carl:  We both love you….so much.

    Russ:  I coulda told ya that.  Our granddaughter isn’t coming to the states any time soon.
    Iris:  D.J.’s birthday is coming soon.
    Russ:  What are you planning on sending him?  I’m sure you’re gonna send him a lavish gift with your new found Spaulding money.
    Iris:  You act like I’m gonna buy him a Porsche or something.  
    Russ smirks.
    Iris:  Don’t look at me like that.  I want our grandson to learn responsibility and the value of hard work.
    Russ:  Olivia says he’s not ready for a car yet.
    Iris:  So tell me about your interview.
    Russ:  I think it went pretty well.  Hopefully they’ll pick me.
    Iris:  I’m sure they’ll have a place on staff for you there.  I used to be on the board.  Do you want me to make some calls?
    Russ:  No no no Iris I don’t need your help.  If I meant to be the Chief of Staff, then that’s what I’ll be.
    Iris:  Chief of Staff?  Aim for the stars.  You do know that Sharlene’s husband is the acting Chief of Staff.
    Russ:  I know...John Hudson.

    John walks into his office and Sharlene is there and he doesn’t close the door all the way.
    Sharlene:  How’d it go?
    John:  As well as can be expected.  They’re gonna make a decision in the next couple of days.
    Sharlene:  I really hope you get it.
    John:  They take the interim tag off and make me permanent Chief of Staff.
    Sharlene hugs John and kisses him.
    John:  Means so much to me to have your support.
    Sharlene:  I wouldn’t care what you did for a living.
    John:  Legally of course.
    Sharlene:  After everything we’ve been through, I realize more than ever how much I love you, and appreciate you.
    They hug each other tightly.
    John:  Ahhh Sharlene.  I don’t wanna ever lose you again.
    Meanwhile, Brianna Jameson walks slowly toward the door, and peeks at John and Sharlene.
    John:  Well if they don’t select me, I will have still made a key addition to the staff.
    Sharlene:  Oh?
    John:  Maggie Winthrop.

    Matt:  I mean it.  It seems you’ve...gotten more mature.  You’ve become a doctor for God’s sake.
    Maggie:  I’ll admit I had some growing up to do.  I was so hung up on Nick I couldn’t see straight.  Then I just left town with Rafael.
    Matt:  It was a long time ago.
    Maggie:  But I learned from it.  Being with Rafael taught me a lot.   He didn’t do anything wrong.  It was a wild, thrilling ride with him, but we just went our separate ways.  We left Bay City together, but we didn’t grow together, you know?   I wanted to go to medical school and...he wanted to do...what he wanted to do.
    Matt:  I can only imagine what that was.  He worked for Carl before so whatever it was he was doing couldn’t have been savory.
    Maggie:  I insisted he never tell me.
    Matt:  Well I’m not judging you because Blair Baker, Jackie Warren, whatever her name was, she certainly wasn’t on the up and up, and I was head over heels for her...and Lila.
    Maggie:  Well at least a blessing came out from you and Lila.
    Matt:  Jasmine’s the apple of my eye.  You should see her.  She’s all grown up, and it happened so fast.
    Maggie:  We both had to put our big girl and big boy pants on right?  Time for us to become adults.
    Matt:  You’re exactly right.  I take it you’re gonna go see my mom.
    Maggie:  Of course.  I still know the way to the Corys.

    Rachel:  Carl’s son?  He’s here?

    John:  What are you wearing?

    John:  So it’s your clothes that I smell?
    Sharlene:  It’s must be Gain.  You’ve seen the commercials right?
    John:  Oh the guy who is smelling the dog’s blanket.
    Sharlene:  Mi towel su towel.
    John:  I think it has something to do with the perfume.  It’s driving me crazy.
    Sharlene:  Is it now?
    John:  If it was legal to do it outside,  I would.
    Sharlene smiles.
    Sharlene:  If you didn’t have to get back to work…
    John:  This day is just getting better and better.
    Sharlene:  What happened at the hospital?
    John:  I hired a new RN.
    Sharlene:  You are on a roll aren’t you
    John:  Yep.  Brianna Jameson.

    Matt is having his vitals taken by Brianna Jameson.
    Brianna:  128 over 74.  
    Matt:  Is that good?
    Brianna:  Yeah.
    Matt:  So can I go now?  I got work to do at the office.
    Brianna:  Are you one of those all work no play guys?
    Matt:  Haven’t had much time for leisure.  Why?
    Brianna:  I...I just...never mind.
    Matt:  No what is it?
    Brianna:  I recently moved to Bay City.
    Matt:  Really?  From where?
    Brianna:  Philadelphia.
    Matt:  Philly huh?  Big city life got to ya?
    Brianna:  Any good places to go for single gals like me?
    Matt:  I would tell you but then you would probably miss out.
    Brianna:  How?
    Matt:  You know there are...places in town that I couldn’t tell where to go and how to get there, but I definitely know the way.
    Brianna smiles.
    Brianna:  That means you’d have to take me.
    Matt:  That means you’d have to let me.
    Brianna:  I think...that could be arranged.  Provided you take care yourself.  
    Matt:  So what’s my prognosis?
    Brianna:  You’re dehydrated.  You need to drink more fluids and eat something.  
    Matt:  You have better beside manner than a lot of doctors.
    Brianna:  Flattery will get you...somewhere.  I’ll get the doctor.
    Brianna jots down Matt’s vitals on his chart, places it in the bin that holds the charts, and leaves the room.

    OUTSIDE THE EXAM ROOM.
    Brianna gets a phone call on her cell phone and she answers.
    Brianna:  Hello?....Oh…Are you sure?
    She takes a deep breath.
    Brianna:  Okay I’m coming up there.

    AT THE MONTGOMERYS
    With Marley lying on the couch.  Tyrone opens the door to Vicky.
    Tyrone:  Hey Vicky.  Come in.
    Marley:  Hey sis.  Glad you stopped by.
    Vicky:  Yeah uh...guess my little nephew’s enjoying the warmth of your belly.  
    Marley:  I’m not technically due yet.
    Tyrone:  The actual date is in a couple days.
    Vicky:  If you don’t deliver they’re gonna have to induce labor right?
    Marley:  Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.
    Vicky:  I remember when I was pregnant with the twins.  Jake waited me hand and foot, and I wasn’t even on bed rest.  Those were the days...when we were happy.
    Marley:  Vicky is everything okay?
    Vicky:  Well, if the girls stop fighting each other, Jake decides to rethink the divorce,  and Steven decides not to date Joy, everything would be perfect.
    Tyrone:  Steven’s dating who?
    Vicky:  Joy Kramer.  The one and only.
    Marley:  Is he crazy?  He needs to get away from her before she hurts him.

    ALSO AT THE CENTER…
    Steven sits across the table from Joy…
    Steven:  I think it was over there where you dropped your cell phone.
    Joy:  No your cousin caused me to drop it.
    Steven:  Oh did I hit a nerve?
    Joy:  Yeah because I loved that phone.
    Steven:  So you don’t like the phone I picked out?
    Joy:  That’s not what I said.  Stop putting words in my mouth.
    Steven:  So what can I put in your mouth?
    Joy:  That smooth tongue will do for now.
    Steven gets up, leans over and plants a kiss on Joy, who reciprocates.
    Steven:  Wait.
    Joy:  What is it?   You’re not finished kissing me are you?
    Steven:  No, but I didn’t get an answer.
    Joy:  To what?  
    Steven:  Being my date to Carl Hutchins’ party.

    BACK AT THE HOSPITAL…Maggie, wearing a white lab coat, walks into the exam room with a chart, where Matt is buttoning his shirt.
    Maggie:  Oh it’s you.
    Matt:  I’m happy to see you, too Dr. Winthrop.
    Maggie:  So you had a dizzy spell at the office.
    Matt:  It was nothing.
    Maggie:  You need to rest and stay hydrated.  
    Matt:  There’s been a lot going on at Cory Productions.
    Maggie:  And you need to let someone else handle things for now.  You need to be away from work for a few days.  Doctor’s orders.
    Maggie looks at Matt’s chart.
    Matt:  Can you send that nurse back in?
    Maggie (looking at the chart):  Brianna Jameson?
    Matt:  She was really nice.
    Maggie:  You need to concentrate on taking it easy and getting some rest.  You can focus on Brianna Jameson some other time.

    DOOR
    Brianna walks up to a doctor who is standing at this door.
    Doctor:  You’re the next of kin, so we called.
    Brianna:  What’s going on?  Is it?
    Doctor:  Yeah it’s time.  I think it would be comforting for her last moments to be spent with you.  I’ll leave you two alone.
    Brianna pushes the door open, and walks slowly toward the person in the bed.  She pulls up a chair, sits at the bedside, and clenches the person’s right hand.
    Brianna:  Mama?  Mama it’s Ellen.
    The person lying in the bed is Taylor Benson.  Taylor has tubes hooked up to her nose, as her monitor beeps. She opens her eyes and smiles.
    Taylor:  My sweet girl.  I’m so glad to see you.
    CAMERA PAN ON TAYLOR…SLOW FADE TO THEME SONG
      PART 2
    Tyrone:  That girl’s gonna ruin his life.
    Marley:  Call him.  I’ll talk to him.  I’ll happily fill him in on everything that Joy did to us.
    Vicky:  No...no that won’t be necessary.
    Marley:  Why not?  We have to tell him what she’s capable of.
    Vicky:  I’ve tried that.
    Tyrone:  I take it didn’t work huh.
    Vicky:  No.  Unfortunately it didn’t.  Steven is hung up on her

    Joy:  Carl Hutchins?
    Steven:  You’ve never heard of him huh?
    Joy:  No not much actually.  Just bits and pieces, but I have heard of the Cory Mansion.  Thomasina told me about it.
    Steven:  How is she?
    Joy:  I talked to her on the phone.  She’s in great spirits.  She’s doing so much better.
    Steven:  Glad to hear that.
    Joy smiles and gazes into Steven’s eyes.
    Joy:  You know I didn’t think I’d stay in Bay City when I came.  I thought it was going a bit of a pit stop for me.
    Steven:  I’d like to think I had something to do with changing your mind about it.
    Joy:  Well, I certainly didn’t expect this.
    Steven:  Expect what?
    Joy:  Liking you this much.
    Steven:  You make it sound like it’s a bad thing.
    Joy:  Noooo that’s not what I mean.  It’s actually a great thing.  Things are...finally gonna go my way.
    Steven:  I don’t care what my mother says about you.
    Joy:  So I’m sure Vicky’s told you about what happened between Tyrone and me.
    Steven:  And I don’t care.  That occurred in the past.  This is now, and all I know...right now...is that I feel so lucky to have met you.
    Joy:  Me, too.
    Steven leans over and kisses her.

    Sharlene:  Look at them.
    John:  Is that my nephew?
    Sharlene:  Sure looks like it.  My goodness he’s all grown up.  It just amazes me how all the kids are grown now.  Our own child.  Charlie, Kirkland.    Time sure has flown.
    John:  And I wanna spend all the rest of my time with you.
    Sharlene:  You know Gregory is such a blessing to us.  He probably saved my life.
    John:  How?
    Sharlene:  The day I gave birth to him in the shed.
    John:  How could I forget?  How could I forget anything that…?
    Sharlene:  Mood killer aren’t I?  I guess Taylor Benson is gonna be etched in our memories forever.

    HOSPITAL
    Lindsay is coaching Gregory, who is propping himself up by the bars.
    Lindsay (following Gregory along the bars): You’re doing great! Keep on!
    Gregory (sweating): Few more…steps.
    Lindsay: Yes! Come on!
    Gregory gets to the end of the bars.
    Lindsay: Yes! That’s great!
    Gregory plops back in the wheelchair, exhausted.
    Lindsay: You’re making significant progress every day it seems like.
    Gregory: Thanks to you.
    Lindsay: No…you deserve all the credit.
    Lindsay bends down to kiss Gregory and John interrupts, and he’s holding a folder.
    John: Hey kids.
    Gregory: Dad.
    Lindsay: Hi Dr. Hudson.
    John: How’s my boy doing?
    Lindsay: He’s making a lot of progress.
    John: Makes sense.
    Lindsay: He’s determined.
    John: That’s what the tests show. I looked at your films, and the swelling has gone down in your spine at a rapid rate. All the feeling should be coming back.
    Gregory and Lindsay look at each other in amazement.

    The fire department is putting out the blaze and all the hostages have made it out alive. Jake checks on Frankie and Sharlene.
    Jake: Are you alright?
    Sharlene: I’m fine. I’m glad we got outta there.
    Frankie: Jake…thank you for coming with me. You didn’t have to do that.
    Jake: Look at what happened. You could have died in there. Charlie would have lost her mother.
    Frankie: And Vicky would have lost her husband. Not to mention Bridget. When we get back to Bay City, Vicky is the first person you need to go see.
    Jake: And Cass and Charlie are the ones you need to run to.

    Rachel: He wants to exact his revenge on those who turned on his mother. I killed her over thirty years ago.
    John: Why hasn’t he come after you?
    Rachel: I guess he wants to get to me through the people I love, like Amanda.
    Allen knocks on the door and walks in.
    Allen: Rachel.
    Rachel: What the hell are you doing here?
    Allen: Have you spoken to Amanda?
    Rachel’s cell phone rings…

    Rachel: You didn’t come back to the front of the church.
    Amanda: I ran into Evan.
    Rachel: He shot Mitch didn’t he?
    Amanda: Yes he did. How is he?
    Rachel: I’ll explain when you come home. Just get here.
    Amanda: Cameron’s here?
    Rachel: Cameron?
    Amanda: Evan was holding him hostage. We got a lot to talk about when I get home.

    Allen watches Rachel on the phone.

    Frankie: Rachel this is Frankie. Rachel you’re not gonna believe what I’m about to tell you.
    Rachel: Hello? (beat) Frankie I can’t hear you.
    Frankie: Carl’s alive.
    Amanda overhears and approaches Frankie.
    Amanda: Carl Hutchins? Alive?

    Rachel: Lost a signal.
    Allen: Was that Amanda? Is she alright?
    Rachel: You don’t get to worry about Amanda. When she gets back you stay the hell away from her.

    Amanda: I can’t believe Evan was holding you hostage all this time.
    Cameron: It’s over. We’re together now.
    He hugs her, but Amanda thinks about Allen.
    JACK AND TONI ARRIVE with St. Croix officers. They approach Jake and Sharlene, and Jake gives Jack a skeptical look.
    Toni: Jake, Sharlene. This is Jack Snyder. He’s the Chief of Detectives at BCPD.
    This is Sharlene Hudson, and Jake McKinnon.
    Jack: Mrs. Hudson. You can use my cell phone to call your husband. Jake, good to meet you.
    Jake: Yeah. Are you here to get Evan?
    Toni: Where is he?
    Sharlene: He’s staying at The Beachfront Hotel.
    Jack: Let’s go.

    Levi: Hey mate. You want a veggie burger?
    Nathan: I AM hungry, but on second thought you probably poisoned it. I’ll pass.
    Levi: How long are you gonna be this way toward me?
    Nathan: Something’s not right about you, and when I find out what it is, Maxie’s gonna know.
    Levi: Look all you want. You’re not gonna find anything.
    Nathan notices something on Levi’s laptop.
    Nathan: What is that? A resort?
    Levi: Yeah. I’m gonna take Maxie on a nice getaway. Don’t you think she deserves it?

    OUTSIDE OF PATRICK’S HOUSE – Patrick is about to kiss Britt, and they hear Robin and Emma approach the door. They look around and see empty beer cans and two pizza boxes scattered across the living room. Robin is about to open the door but Emma stops her after Emma looks inside her pink book bag.
    Emma: Mommy we can’t go in yet.
    Robin: Why not honey? You wanted to see your dad.
    Emma: I forgot my gift for him.
    Robin checks Emma’s bag and realizes that Emma’s right.
    Robin: I guess we’ll have to go and see if it’s in the car.
    Meanwhile, Patrick looks around and realizes that Robin was bringing Emma over to see him and scrambles to make the place presentable.



    Patrick: Did you park out front?



    Britt: No around the corner.



    Patrick: Go out the back. You'll get to your car quicker.

    Anna doesn’t answer and snaps out of her proverbial trance.
    Duke: Sweetheart? Is something on your mind?
    Anna flashes back to Dr. Obrecht telling her that Anna’s child that she supposedly lost in the elevator fall is still alive.

    Tracy hangs up, turns around, and there’s Monica.
    Monica: What the hell are you up to now Tracy?

    Tracy: You're delusional! I have no intention of trying to take over ELQ.



    Monica: Let's hope it stays that way, because if you try to undercut Michael or Jason, you're gonna have to deal with me.



    Tracy looks at Monica and busts out laughing.



    Tracy: You know you should do comedy. You are so funny! Have you forgotten that I've had the overwhelming joy of dealing with you for over thirty years?



    Monica: Anyway I came here to ask you if you've talked to Alice.



    Tracy: Noooo. Why?



    Monica: Did she have the rooms ready?



    Tracy: I dunno. Are we expecting visitors?



    Monica: Maya and Sydney are coming for Michael's wedding.



    Tracy: Can't they stay somewhere else?



    Monica: This is my house.



    Tracy: Here we go again.



    Monica: And they're Edward's great granddaughters, so they're staying...as long they need to.

    Anna: It might not be. Obrecht alluded to it.



    Duke: Are you really gonna believe anything that woman says?



    Anna: She's done a lot of things...



    Duke: Kidnapped Robin; shot Elizabeth; kidnapped Dante and Lulu's baby twice...



    Anna: But I never took her...to be a liar. If our child is out there, don't you wanna know where he or she is? Don't you wanna to find them and have a relationship with them?



    Meanwhile, outside of Kelly's, Dr. Obrecht is watching Duke and Anna.

    Patrick, Robin, and Emma are sitting on the couch looking at a drawing.



    Patrick: This is...really pretty.



    Emma: You like it daddy?



    Patrick: Of course I do.



    Robin: Honey why do you go to your room and get some of your clothes okay?



    Emma: Mom I get it. You want to talk to daddy in private. I'll go.



    Emma leaves...



    Robin: She's so smart.



    Patrick: Just like her mother.



    Robin: Patrick...



    Patrick: I miss our life together. I miss the family unit that we were.



    Robin: I...miss it, too.



    Patrick: But you're...back with Jason.



    Robin: Right...I am. Patrick look we can't do this.



    Patrick: We're divorced because you had to save Jason.



    Robin: Look are you bring this up now with our daughter right in the next room?



    Patrick: I'm sorry. It still hurts. I should be able to see my daughter unsupervised.



    Robin: You know why I did that.



    Robin looks into Patrick's eyes.



    Robin: When are you gonna get help? As long as you are popping pills, I cannot agree to unsupervised visits.



    Patrick: Do you really think I would hurt my own daughter?



    Robin: Anything can happen when you're high. I will not leave you alone with Emma until I know that you've gotten the help you need.



    Emma re-enters the room.



    Emma: Mommy I got my purple one.



    Robin: I thought you didn't like it.



    Emma: I changed my mind.



    Robin: Go wait out in the front. I'll be right out.



    Emma leaves out of the front door, and Robin turns to Patrick, and her eyes start to well up.



    Robin: I mean it Patrick. Please get some help...before someone gets hurt. Emma needs her father, and I want you to be part of her life, but not like this. Not when you're high, and addicted to pills.



    Patrick: You don't understand. You caused this!



    Robin: Take responsibility for your problem!



    Patrick: Saving Jason was more important than our family. I always came second to him!



    Robin: I'm not doing this right now.



    Patrick: That's right! Do what you did all those months ago! Walk out!

    BRAD’S FLASHBACK (EPISODE 10)
    Felix: Where are you off to? It’s early for you to be getting off.
    Brad: Lucas and I are going out.
    Felix: Well that’s...that’s good.
    Felix refocuses himself on whatever it is that he was inputting into the computer.
    Brad: Could’ve been you ya know?
    Felix: Are you with Lucas just to stick it to me? Because if that’s true, it’s not gonna last. Go have your picnic. Lucas is far from stupid. He’s gonna notice it, and it’s really not fair to him.
    Brad: You wanted to know why I was leaving early, and I told you. Have a good day.
    (BACK TO THE PRESENT)
    Brad snaps himself out of it while Lucas has a flashback of his own…
    (EPISODE 10)
    KELLY’S...Lucas walks to the door with two bags in each of his hands. He leans on it so he can open it, but as he leans, Sebastian opens the door with his left hand, and puts his right hand to Lucas to stop him from falling. Lucas quickly turns around, and seems captivated.
    Lucas: Thank you. That would’ve been bad if I’d fallen and spilled this.
    Sebastian: You’re welcome. You must be having a party. I don’t think you’re gonna eat that all by yourself.
    Lucas: No it’s for me and…
    Sebastian: Your boyfriend?
    Lucas: Yeah.
    Sebastian smiles.
    Sebastian: Lucky him.
    Lucas snaps out of his flashback…
    Brad: Wow you were a hundred thousand miles away. What were you thinking about?

    ON ANOTHER SIDE OF THE PARK...Shawn is on his cell phone with Jordan as he sips on a cup of water filled with ice.

    Shawn: Come on Jordan. Look I miss you.

    Meanwhile, Maya is jogging and as soon as she sees a bench, she goes to sit down. She rubs her right knee and winces at the discomfort. Shawn is walking and notices Maya, and Maya naturally looks up at Shawn, and the two make extended eye contact.

    They look at each other and simultaneously say “Nina.”

    Nina: If I can’t have SIlas, nobody will. There’s no way he’s gonna marry Sam.

    BACK AT SILAS’S, someone knocks on the door. Silas answers it and it’s Michael and Kiki.
    Sam: Hi. Come on in.

    Silas: That’s why we called you over.
    Sam: We were wondering if...you wanted to do a double wedding.
    Michael and Kiki look at each other.
    Kiki: That sounds like a great idea, but there’s one problem right?
    Michael: Well Sam you and Jason’s marriage ended because he was declared legally dead.
    Kiki: But Silas and Nina’s marriage...is still valid.

    HOSPITAL - Felix and Epiphany are sitting on a bench near a window.
    Epiphany: Brad is playing games. I don’t know why you let him make you so upset.
    Felix: You know at first I couldn’t stand Brad. All he wanted was sex, but after some time passed, I started seeing him differently. I thought we could work on something until...
    Epiphany: You found out that he helped Britt steal Lulu’s embryo.
    Felix: I haven’t looked at him quite the same since.
    Epiphany: Yeah Brad did all of those things, but you still have feelings for him, and from what I can tell, he’s only with Lucas because he can’t be with you. Seems like he’s made his decision, and you need to make one, too.
    Felix: What are you trying to tell me?
    Epiphany: Start seeing other people. Leave Brad and Lucas be. Move on.

    Lucas: My Aunt Ruby’s recipe is still delicious. She ran Kelly’s for years.

    Brad: What’s so funny?
    Lucas: This is how we met remember?
    Brad: The Floating Rib.
    Lucas: I just found out that my father Julian was a mobster.
    Brad: And I told you about my dad being a mobster.
    Lucas: We were sharing parental mob stories.
    Brad: Have you heard from your dad?
    Lucas: He texted the other day. He’s sticking it out with Alexis. You know you told me about your dad, but not about your mom. I wonder why you don’t talk about her.
    Brad: There’s not much to say. We haven’t spoken much since I came out.

    Shawn: Are you okay?
    Maya: Yeah I’m...I’m fine.
    Shawn takes three napkins out of his pocket, pours ice from his cup in them, and places the makeshift ice pack gently on Maya’s sore right knee.

    Shawn: If you elevate it, it might help reduce some swelling.

    Nina: That’s true, but sometimes you have to learn to forgive. When I first woke up from my coma, I was mad as hell about what Silas did, but I’m over it now.

    Tyrone:  You wanna be brothers now?
    Allen:  I guess that’s...that’s on you.  I wanna bury the hatchet.
    Marley:  This is really sweet.  You’re gonna make me cry and I’m already hormonal.

    Tyrone:  I think so, too.  Roman’s gonna need his uncle Allen when he comes into the world.  Besides, what kind of example am I gonna set for him if I got a grudge against my own brother.
    Marley:  So this means you guys are going to make up.

    Marley:  Now we gotta get Bridget and Michele to do what you guys are doing.

    Michele:  When I got back to Bay City, I wanted Bridget to pay for everything she had done.
    Vicky:  Did you...want to hurt your sister?
    Michele:  I never wanted to hurt her.  
    Vicky:  Of course you didn’t.  That’s what I’ve been trying to tell everyone.
    Michele:  Aunt Marley and Grandma Donna have been pleading with me to stop being so angry.  They think I’m gonna do to Bridget what…
    Vicky (taking a deep breath):  Marley did to me.
    Michele:  And I’ve been thinking a lot about it and...it’s time for me to go tell Bridget that I forgive her, and for us to be sisters again.
    Vicky:  Honey, that is the best news I’ve heard all day.  So proud of you.
    Vicky hugs Michele.

    Cory:  About sex.  
    Bridget:  Mmmmm maybe I have.
    Cory:  The way you did things, it didn’t seem like it was your first time.
    Bridget:  But it was, and it was...everything I hoped it would be.
    Bridget leans on Cory and starts to kiss him again.  Cory takes off the used condom and tosses it in the wastebasket next to the bed.
    Cory:  Gonna need another one.
    Bridget:  I’m...kinda sore.
    Cory:  We can stop if you want.
    Bridget:  There are...other things I’ve been reading about.
    Bridget crawls under the covers…

    Donna:  I sure hope so.  The last thing is to relive what happened between Marley and Victoria all those years ago.
    Michael:  It’s not gonna happen Donna.  I wish you’d stop thinking like that.

    Michael:  Thank your father for that.
    Donna:  Marley was so angry.  The sweet Marley we all knew was a different person.  When I fell and hit my head, I couldn’t even say anything.  I had to watch as she plotted against Victoria, and she locked her in the basement of this house.  I’ll be damned if I let that happen with Michele and Bridget.
    Michael:  I’m not taking anything away from Marley and Vicky, but you gotta have faith in the girls.  The girls are fighting, but they’ll resolve their differences.  I mean, didn’t Marley and Vicky do that?  Look how close they’ve gotten.  
    Donna:  You don’t understand.  I don’t want our granddaughters to have to go through that to get close again.
    Michael:  Well Donna there’s not much we can do about it.  
    Donna:  So you think we should just stand by and watch those two kill each other?
    Michael:  That’s not what’s happening, and it’s not going to happen.
    Donna:  You don’t know that now do you?
    Michael:  I have faith in Michele and Bridget.  They will work things out Donna...you’ll see.

    Elizabeth walks in with a bag.



    Cory: Don’t you have a key?



    Elizabeth: Well hello to you, too brother.



    Cory: You didn’t tell anybody you were coming home?



    Elizabeth: Dad called and asked me to. He’s throwing a dinner party.



    Cory: Really? He didn’t tell me about that. What’s his deal anyway?



    Elizabeth: What do you mean?



    Cory: Mom’s been worried about dad.



    Elizabeth: Where is mom anyway?

    Suddenly, Rachel
    appears and walks in.


    Rachel: Russ? Carl? What wishes are you two talking about?

    Rachel: When we were on our way to Kirkland and Charlie’s wedding reception, you mentioned that...we took care of Perry. Perry’s been dead for almost thirty years, but the problem is that we never raised Perry. You also left your laptop open, too. I saw something about a transfer, and then an empty bottle of pills. It all made sense to me.



    There’s an awkward silence, then Rachel kneels by Carl’s beside and pleads with him.



    Rachel: Carl please...please tell me what’s going on? Tell me that I’m wrong about what I’m thinking.



    Carl: About the tumor returning? No darling, unfortunately you’re correct. It’s back.

    Rachel gets up, turns toward the door, and momentarily covers her face with her hands, almost as if she’s lost her cool for a moment, but then re-gathers herself.



    Rachel: Not again.



    Carl: Yes Rachel. I have been diagnosed with glioblastoma.



    Rachel takes a deep breath.



    Rachel: That’s a very aggressive brain tumor.



    Carl: And it’s inoperable.



    Rachel: What about a second opinion? Russ should have encouraged you to get one.



    Carl: I saw the films. It’s there, and it’s growing more and more.



    Rachel: There’s gotta some type of treatment we can try. Maybe we can to Europe.



    Carl: Don’t you think I’ve tried that already? In St. Croix, where Evan, my son, was keeping me alive.

    Cass: Okay okay I promise not to make fun of your sixth sense.

    Cass: How so?



    Frankie: The way he was talking to us. It was like...he was saying that time is running out for him or something.



    Cass: Yeah I...caught that, too.



    Frankie: You know in a weird way Carl brought us together. I mean I...don’t condone anything he did to Kathleen, but you and I probably never would have met and fell in love.



    Cass: And had Charlie…



    Frankie: We have him to thank for the life we’ve got. Who’da thought he’d turn out to be my father.

    Carl: No. They were threatening Lucas’s grandson.

    Carl: No, but Lorna did.



    Rachel: Lorna? Felicia never mentioned a grandchild.



    Carl: Because she doesn’t know.



    Rachel: Carl you’re not making any sense right now. Why does this concern you? Why were you paying Lucas’s enemies off? Wait a minute. Is that who you were talking on the phone to yesterday?

    Carl: Devin Lucas Hutchins. I had Lorna put him into hiding before she came to Bay City the first time.



    Rachel: After all these years, you couldn’t trust me enough to tell me about him.



    Carl: It wasn’t a matter of trust my dear. If I told you, you would’ve been in danger. Of course I couldn’t do that to you, your children, or ours.



    Rachel sighs.



    Rachel: Is there anything else you want to tell me?



    Carl: I’m having a dinner party. That’s when I’m gonna to announce to all of our family and friends. I was going to tell you first.



    Rachel: People are gonna be devastated. Paulina, Vicky, Donna. You’ve had a positive impact on their lives.



    Rachel: I can’t believe this is happening again. We’re going to lose you all over again.



    Rachel sits on the bed next to Carl.



    Carl: You will have all of your family and friends to support you. Russ will be there, too.

    Sebastian West walks into the park with his book bag and sits on the bench. He looks to the left, then to the right and is certain that nobody is there. He takes out a small bag of marijuana, then looks for something else while focused on the bag.
    Sebastian: Dammit.
    Sydney offers him a lighter. This breaks his focus on the bag and he looks up at her.
    Sydney: Looks like you need one of these.
    Sebastian: Thank you.
    He reaches out for the lighter, but Sydney pulls it back.
    Sydney: So are you gonna smoke that all by yourself?

    MICHAEL’S APARTMENT - Kiki walks in with a gift bag, smiles, and takes a red teddy out of it. She turns to the table, which is pristinely set with two candles, handkerchiefs, silverware, two champagne glasses, and a silver, ice filled bucket with a bottle of champagne in it. She then gets a call on her cell phone.
    Kiki: Hmm if it isn’t my sexy fiance. Wait till you get home.
    Michael is at ELQ sitting at his desk staring at his computer.
    Michael: Hey babe. I’m...gonna be home a little late tonight.

    Kiki: Let me guess...ELQ stuff.

    K.C.: You sure can. May I have a hot chocolate please?
    Eric: Sure.
    Eric rings it up…

    K.C. looks inside her purse, which has no money in it.
    K.C.: Oh I...I’m a little short. Can you put it on the house...handsome?
    Eric smiles.
    Eric: Is that how cute girls like you get over?
    Suddenly, Allen (Sean Blakemore) comes from behind K.C., puts a five dollar bill on the counter, and slides it to Eric.
    Allen: Keep the change.
    Allen then takes K.C. by her arm and escorts her to a table off to the side.

    K.C. angrily tries to free herself, but doesn’t get free until Allen releases her, and when he does, K.C. slaps him.

    Christy walks away as Felicia continues with Frankie. Eric tries to listen to their conversation as he sneaks over to wipe down a nearby table.
    Frankie: What are you doing?
    Felicia: I need to talk some sense into you. Doesn’t it occur to you that she might up something? I mean, she interrupted Charlie’s wedding reception.
    Frankie: I know exactly what she did, and she apologized.

    Felicia: It wouldn’t be the first time she’s put on a performance.

    Michele turns away from Lindsay realizing she might have slipped up.

    Lindsay: Where do you know John from?
    Michele: He’s...a friend of the family.

    Gregory walks in and Michele nervously notices her cousin who hit her with his car.

    Lindsay is pouring herself a cup of coffee when Bridget approaches her.

    Bridget: He’s waiting for me downstairs.
    Lindsay: Okay. What can I do for you?
    Bridget: I had to come back and say thank you for helping my dad.
    Lindsay: It really is no problem. A labor of love.
    Bridget: I almost felt responsible. My dad hurt his knee moving my bedroom around.
    Lindsay: Don’t blame yourself. Jake was just being a good dad. He didn’t want you to do all that heavy lifting kiddo.

    Jack: Everyone’s been taken to the hospital.
    Rachel runs over to Carl, who looks up at her, but is unable to speak.

    Bridget: She blamed me for killing her. She thought that I didn’t feel bad about it.
    Lindsay: Of course you did. She was your sister. Jake must have been devastated.
    Bridget: He was. We all were. It really tore our family apart.
    Lindsay: Well you all seem close now.
    Bridget: We’ve all gotten through it. As close as my dad and I are, I can still see that he misses Michele.

    HOSPITAL WAITING AREA
    Toni is with Rachel.
    Toni: Thank you for your statement. I’ll make sure this gets to the station.
    Rachel: I’m terribly worried about Carl...and whoever else that was hurt.
    Jack walks in.
    Jack: I just got a call from the lab. The poison that Carl ingested was the same poison we found in the vial in your sweater. It was the poison used to kill Reginald.
    Rachel: I didn’t kill him.
    Toni: I believe her Jack.
    Rachel: That vial was planted.
    Jack: We’re gonna question Sharlene once she wakes up.
    Rachel: I’m worried about her, too. Sharlene is my friend. She would never do anything like that.
    Jack: Well we saw everything in your living room.
    Toni pulls Jack off to the side.
    Toni: Sharlene suffers from Disassociative Identity Disorder.
    Jack: So are you saying that Sharlene is some type of fugue state when she tried to kill Rachel? An ex-colleague of mine, Margo Hughes, went through something like that.
    Toni: No this is different. Sharlene may have had a relapse, and this other personality tried to kill Rachel.
    Jack: We’ll have to talk to her when she wakes up.
    Toni: The question is, will she be able to tell us anything?
    Jack: What are you saying?
    Toni: When Sharlene wakes up, it’s possible that she may have no recollection of what happened.

    SHARLENE’S HOSPITAL ROOM
    John and Gregory are at her bedside as she hasn’t awakened yet.
    Gregory: I don’t know why that officer is standing outside. It’s not like mom did anything.
    John: There’s a lot that you don’t know Gregory. I’m just glad that she’s okay.
    Gregory: Mom could not possibly be responsible for stabbing Mitch, knocking out Frankie, and trying to kill Rachel and Carl.
    John: I’m afraid you might be right.
    John straddles Sharlene’s hair as he looks at her.
    John: Sharlene could never be responsible for all of that.
    Gregory: You think she split again?
    John: Yes.
    Gregory: If she did, it’s all your fault.
    John: This is not the time for this. All I’ve tried to do is protect your mother from something like this.
    She wakes up and looks at John.
    Sharlene: Where am I?
    John: You’re in the hospital, and you’re safe.
    Gregory: Mom! Mom are you okay?
    Sharlene: She’s fine. Have any of you seen my glasses?
    Gregory: Mom, since when did you start wearing bifocals?
    John: Right honey, you don’t…who are you?
    Gregory: Dad, of course it’s mom.
    Sharlene: I’m not your mom, although you can rest assured that she’s safe.
    John: Then who are you?
    Sharlene: Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Emma.
