Reginald gets some crucial information
THE HUDSONS
John is downstairs tying his bowtie on his tuxedo…and Sharlene, in her silver evening gown, walks up to him.
John: Hey is this right?
Sharlene: It looks great.
John: Where’s Gregory?
Gregory walks downstairs….
Gregory: I’m not going.
Sharlene: Why not? Your family would want you to support Donna tonight.
Someone rings the doorbell, and John opens the door…
John: Lindsay.
Lindsay: Hi Mr. Hudson. Is Greg here?
John suspects that Lindsay is the reason that Gregory doesn’t want to go to the Harbor Club.
John: Yeah…come in.
Lindsay (walking in): Greg you’re not going to Harbor Club?
Sharlene: I wonder the same thing. Vicky, Donna, and Bridget would appreciate it.
John: Sharlene…maybe we should give them some privacy.
John and Sharlene leave….
Lindsay: Am I the cause of you not going to support your family?
Gregory: You got five minutes.
FRANKIE’S APT
Charlie and Frankie are in the mirror putting their make up on…
Charlie (pointing to Frankie’s right cheek): You probably wanna put some over here.
Frankie (blotting her cheek): My daughter is giving me makeup instructions. I’ve been at this longer than you kid.
Charlie: I just want to make sure that you look your absolute best for dad for your date tonight. Aren’t you excited?
Frankie: It seems like you are VERY excited about it.
Charlie: Well why aren’t YOU?
Frankie: Deep down I am, but I’m just…cautiously optimistic.
Charlie: Do you want things to work out with dad again?
Frankie: Let’s not get ahead of ourselves honey. I’m supposed to be giving YOU advice about relationships, but I guess I lost that privilege. I’m glad Lila provided a mother figure for you while I was gone.
Charlie: Mom I got past the you-not-being-here thing, and it’s time for you to do the same thing.
Frankie: I have honey. I’m so happy that you and I have gotten to this point. I thought we’d never get here.
Charlie: Well we are, and I plan to stay, because I love you mom.

Charlie: Now all we gotta do is…

KIRKLAND’S ROOM
Jake and Vicky stop by and visit Kirkland
Vicky: Hi honey.

Kirkland: Mom, Jake, what are you doing here?
Vicky: Can’t your parents come visit you?
Kirkland: I don’t mean it like that.
Vicky: So how do you like your stuffy, lonely hotel room?
Kirkland (smiling): I’m not moving back home mom.
Jake: Oh your mom’s just looking out for you.
Kirkland (looking at the dossier he has on Grant): What brings you by?
Vicky: I’m just checking on you. We haven’t talked much since you came back home.
Kirkland: I’m great mom. In fact, I’m getting ready to go with Charlie to the Harbor Club tonight for grandma Donna.
Vicky: The family will be thrilled to see you.
Kirkland: I wonder if dad’s gonna be there.
Vicky: Don’t worry about Grant right now. You’ll be supporting your family tonight.
Kirkland: I’m gonna go pick up Charlie.
Jake: So we’ll see ya at the club?
Kirkland: Yep.
Jake and Vicky leave and Kirkland calls Charlie to let her know he’s on his way. Kirkland opens the door and two men block him.
Kirkland: Who the hell are you? Let me guess. My dad sent you.
Man #1: Give us the dossier.

Gregory: That was clever of you.
Lindsay: I’m not trying to deceive or lie to anyone.
Gregory: But that’s exactly what you’re doing Lindsay!
Lindsay: What was I supposed to do? Oh hi Jake McKinnon can I get a sample of your DNA?
Gregory: But after the DNA tests confirmed it, you still didn’t tell me. I had to accidentally knock down your purse to find out.
Lindsay: Greg---
Gregory: And every time I asked you about your mother, you were evasive, and you would change the subject. You’ve been lying to me ever since you came to Bay City.
Lindsay: I wasn’t ready to share that with you.
Gregory: Did I make a mistake in getting involved with you?
Lindsay: How can you ask a question like that? I didn’t expect to fall for you either, but I did. I saw how hard you worked to be able to walk again. So resolute; so brave. I fell in love with you.
Gregory: You can’t love me because you don’t trust me.
Lindsay: I DO trust you.
Gregory: You DON’T. You couldn’t tell me about your mother, and you couldn’t tell me about Jake.
Lindsay: Don’t you love me?
Gregory: Of course I do.
Lindsay: Then why are you so apprehensive?
Gregory: Because I don’t know if you’re gonna hurt me again.
Lindsay: No. Not at all.
They slowly approach each other and hug and kiss…passionately…
FRANKIE’S APT
Charlie: Dad could have asked Nicole to go to the Harbor Club with him, but he asked you.
Frankie: Nicole’s sick, she can’t be out too much.
Charlie: Dad has been very good to Nicole.
Frankie: Cass has a good heart.
Charlie: I must say I’m still surprised that he is letting her live there after what he told me Nicole did.
Frankie: It’s like he gave her a second chance.
Frankie walks toward her table and looks at a letter from the Illinois Correctional Facility for the Criminally Insane.
Frankie: I’m counting on it. So what time is Kirkland picking you up?
Charlie: He called and told me that he’s on his way.
Meanwhile, Kirkland lies in his hotel room in his tuxedo bruised and unconscious, and the dossier he had on Grant is gone.
SUITE
One of the men who beat up Kirkland gives REGINALD LOVE the dossier on Grant.
Man: This is what you wanted boss.
Reginald: You didn’t hurt my great-grandson did you?
Man: I did what I had to do to get this to you.
Reginald: If you hurt my great-grandson…
Man: He’ll be fine.
Reginald: Get outta here.
After the man leaves…
Reginald: Guess I got the next mayor in my pocket.

The gala begins….The grand re-opening of the Harbor Club…
The M&M Harbor Club is up and running, newly decorated, and ready to receive its guests. The tuxedo dressed waiters are walking around with their trays of drinks. Soft piano music plays in the background, and Donna greets John and Sharlene at the door.
Donna: John, Sharlene welcome.
Sharlene: This looks great Donna. Congratulations. Michael would have been proud of you.
John flashes back to his conversation with Felicia about the possibility of Michael being alive.
Donna: I know he’s here in spirit. Let me escort you to your table.
As John and Sharlene sit at their table, Mitch and Felicia both notice John and Sharlene being seated.
Sharlene: I’m gonna go to the Ladies’ room.
Meanwhile, Mitch secretly notices Sharlene, and asks Felicia if she wants a club soda from the bar. She says yes, and Mitch gets up. Felicia uses this opportunity to go over to John.
Felicia sits down across from John…
Felicia: Where’s Sharlene?
John: She went to the ladies’ room.
Felicia: Have you told her about Michael?
John: No and I’m not telling anyone until I’m sure that Martin was the one who died in that car crash.
Felicia: That’s a good idea. I’m sure Donna will be thrilled if it turns out that Michael is alive.
AT THE BAR
Mitch is there and Sharlene bumps into him.
Sharlene: Oh sorry…Mitch hi.
Mitch: Sharlene. How are you?
Sharlene: I’m fine. I’m headed to the ladies’ room.
Mitch: Are you okay?
Sharlene: I’ve been feeling great.
Mitch: No episodes?
Sharlene: No.
Mitch: That’s good, well I’m gonna bring Felicia a club soda.
Sharlene: Great.
IN THE LADIES’ ROOM
Sharlene walks up to the mirror, and sees her own reflection. She looks down to get the makeup out of her purse, looks back up at the mirror, and drops her makeup in the sink as she sees Janice in the mirror.
Janice: Now what did mama teach us about telling lies?
GRANT’S HOUSE
Grant adjusts his bowtie on his tuxedo as his back is to his open front door. He hears someone walk in.
Grant: Paulina. I thought I was supposed to pick YOU up.
It’s not Paulina, but Cindy Brooke.
Cindy: Paulina!
Grant turns around and is shocked…
Grant: Cynthia?! What the hell are you doing sneaking in my house like that?
Cindy: Did my ears just deceive me? Are you really going out with Paulina Carlino to the Harbor Club?
MEANWHILE AT THE CARLINO’S HOUSE…
Paulina, dressed in an off-white evening gown with a ruffle on her right shoulder, answers the door. It’s Jack, with jeans, a Polo shirt, and a jacket.
Paulina (smiling): Jack. Come in.
Jack: You look…beautiful.
Paulina: Thank you. Why aren’t you going to the Harbor Club tonight?
Jack: Carly’s at home with our daughter. She’s sick.
Paulina: I’m sorry about that. I wouldn’t leave Dante when he was younger whenever he got sick, so I understand that.
Jack: I’ve got work to catch up on anyway.
Paulina: I hate that you’re not going to the Harbor Club tonight. Practically the whole town is gonna be there celebrating its reopening.
Jack: Well I didn’t want to go by myself.
Paulina: I would have gone with you if I hadn’t already agreed to go with Grant.
BACK AT THE HARBOR CLUB
Jake and Vicky sit at their table.
Vicky: I’m gonna go find Donna.
Jake: Okay.
Jake notices Stacey at the bar and he approaches her.
Jake: Hey Stacey.
Stacey: Jake.
Jake has a more vivid memory of meeting Stacey at a bar drinking out of a Dodgers shot glass. As Stacey walks away, Jake steps in front of her.
Stacey: Jake what are you doing?
Jake: I’ve…I’ve seen you outside of Bay City before haven’t I?
Stacey: I don’t know what you mean.
Jake: It was in Los Angeles. That’s where I saw you. But why?
Stacey: I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve never been there.
Jake: You’re lying.
Vicky approaches them.

Grant begins to get an idea…
Grant (mumbling): I wonder if Jack knows about that.

Grant: Nothing. Maybe she just likes my company.
Cindy (scoffing): Seriously? I wonder how long that’s going to last.
Grant: It’ll last longer than your clingy friendship with Gary Sinclair.
Cindy: That was a different situation. We were only friends.
Grant: You mean you didn’t want something more with Gary?
Cindy: I’m not the subject of this conversation.
Grant: Right. I bet you’re still that same needy woman.
Cindy: I became an attorney, and I’m not that kinda gal anymore.
Grant: Yeah right, and leopard spots change, too. Listen, I’ve gotta get ready to pick up Paulina. Please show yourself out.
Cindy (hurt): You know, I came here to see how my ex-husband was doing before I left town. You’re still mean and cold.
Grant: Are you done?
Cindy: I was done with you a long time ago, and soon enough, Paulina will be, too.
CARLINOS HOUSE
Jack and Paulina stare at each other.
Jack: So I should get going.
Paulina: Umm…yeah. Grant’s gonna be here any minute.
They continue to stare at each other.
Paulina: Don’t work too hard.
They hug, pull away slowly, look into each other’s eyes, and lean in to kiss. Before they can lock lips, Jack’s cell phone rings.
Jack: That could be Carly, or the station.
Paulina: You should take it.
Jack (looking at the caller ID): Yeah…I’m gonna take it outside.
Paulina: Okay. Have a good night.
OUTSIDE…
Jack (on the phone): You’re on your way to Bay City? I’ll be at the station.
BACK AT THE HARBOR CLUB….
In the ladies’ room, Sharlene faces her Janice in the mirror.
Sharlene: When are you going to go away?
Janice: I can’t. Not until you let me finish my mission.
Sharlene: You can’t have Carl. He is happily married to Rachel.
Janice: That’s not the only thing I have to do. I can help the both of us if you let me out.
Sharlene: I will never let you out.
Janice: We’ll see about that. The stronger one will win, and we both know who that is.
Sharlene: No!
Sharlene frantically grabs her purse, turns around and sees Rachel.
Rachel: Sharlene? Are you alright?
Sharlene (running by Rachel): I’m fine.
AT THE BAR…
Stacey: Jake thinks that he saw me at a bar in Los Angeles before.
Vicky: And what did you tell him?
Stacey: That I have never been there.
Jake: Vicky why am I having these flashbacks?
Vicky: I don’t know Jake. Maybe it was someone from your past before you came to Bay City.
Stacey: I’m gonna go see where my brother is.
After Stacey leaves…
Jake: I’m pretty sure it was Stacey that I saw in L.A.
Vicky: Well it couldn’t have been Stacey because she said she’d never been there before. As a matter of fact, I don’t think you’ve ever been there before.
Jake: These aren’t just some subconscious dreams. These flashes feel real. Could it have been during the time I lost my memory?
Vicky (shaking her head): Probably not. Why don’t you just let it go?
Donna is at the microphone asking for everyone’s attention.
Donna: Good evening. You all look so handsome and lovely. Tonight is the grand re-opening of the Harbor Club. I look forward to making this a staple of Bay City again. I re-opened this for all of you. Thank you all for coming.
Everyone claps, and Donna smiles as she looks around. Her smile quickly turns to a frown when she sees REGINALD, with a sinister smile, clapping at the entrance.

All the guests at the Harbor Club are clapping at Donna’s announcement, and she looks around smiling, but her smile quickly turns to a frown when she locks eyes with Reginald, who is at the entrance giving his round of applause. Meanwhile, Allen notices the change of expression on Donna’s face. He looks back and also notices Reginald at the door. Allen flashes back to when Nicole said that she wanted to let go. Donna turns her attention back to the crows and smiles again. Amanda, who is sitting next to Allen, also notices that Allen sees Reginald…and she tries to distract him.
Amanda: Maybe we should leave.
Allen (turning to Amanda): You ready to go home?
Amanda: Yes.
Allen: It’s still early.
Amanda: I’m feeling tired.
Allen looks back at the entrance and notices that Reginald is gone.
Amanda: I want some alone time with my man.
Allen: You’re so sweet. I’ll get our coats.
Grant and Paulina walk in, are escorted to their table, and are served a glass of red wine each. Carl Hutchins walks up to them.
Carl: Paulina my dear.
Paulina: Carl hi.
Carl: Tell me that you didn’t come here with Grant.
Paulina: I did.
Carl: Is this a date or something?
Iris walks up to them, and she’s wearing the same dress as Paulina.
Iris: It is Carl. After everything Grant has done, she goes out on a date with him. Paulina’s always been desperate, especially when it comes to being a Cory. Oh, your dress looks better on me.
Paulina gets up and approaches Iris face to face.
Paulina: You could wear the most elegant dress and you’d still look like garbage you selfish, greedy bitch.
Tyrone approaches Donna…
Tyrone: Congratulations.
Donna: Thank you. What time’s Marley getting here? I haven’t seen her or Kirkland.
Tyrone: I was busy getting the charges dropped against Allen so I ran late. Marley was gonna meet me here. I don’t know what’s taking her so long.
Tyrone leaves Donna and runs into Allen.
Tyrone: You seen Marley?
Allen (hurriedly): No.
Tyrone answers his cell phone.
Tyrone: Montgomery. Oh no. I’ll be right there.
Donna runs up to Tyrone.
Donna: What’s wrong? Is it Marley?
Tyrone: She’s in the hospital. She was in a car accident.
Meanwhile, Vicky and Jake sit at their table.
Jake: I can’t get that image out of my head Vick.
Vicky: You really need to let it go. Stacey said she’s never been to LA, and you’ve never been there.
Jake: Maybe LA wasn’t the place I saw her.
Vicky: That’s because you didn’t see her at all.

Iris: You are so jealous. You want everything that I’ve got. You’ve been trying for so many to make yourself belong with the Corys and anyone with money, but you never will.
Paulina (smiles): Oh you may have gotten control of Cory Publishing, but I somehow think your house of cards is gonna come crashing to the ground, and when you’re down, I’m gonna be there kicking you.
Iris: My daddy’s company is where it belongs, and nobody is going to take it from me. You might go out with people like Grant, but you’re always gonna be trailer park trash.
Paulina takes her glass of red wine and splashes it on Iris.
Iris: You ruined my dress you bitch!
Paulina: Now it’s as ugly as you are.
Carl smiles but steps between them.
Carl: Alright that’s enough ladies.
Grant (to Paulina): I gotta get to the hospital. Kirkland’s been hurt.
Paulina: I’m coming with you.
HOSPITAL
Jake and Vicky arrive and Charlie approaches them.
Charlie: Mr. and Mrs. McKinnon.
Jake: What happened?
Vicky: Were you with Kirkland?
Charlie: He was supposed to pick me up, but I went to his hotel room and I found him unconscious. Looks like somebody beat him up.
Grant arrives with Paulina, and Jake approaches Grant.
Jake: I ought to beat the hell out of you. Come on Grant. All this for a mayor’s seat. Your own son?
Grant: What happened to Kirkland?
Vicky: Charlie found him beaten in his hotel room. Did you have something to do with this?
Grant: Of course not. I would never do this to my son!
Jake: You’re capable of anything when it comes to politics.
Vicky: If you had something to do with this, I will make you pay. What room is he in Charlie?
Charlie: Over here.
Charlie directs Vicky, Jake, Grant and Paulina to Kirkland’s room. Meanwhile, Marley is resting in her room, and Tyrone and Donna arrive.
Marley: I’m glad you two got here. Just the people I wanna see.
BACK AT THE HARBOR CLUB
Amanda runs into Rachel.
Rachel: Amanda honey what’s going on?
Amanda: Have you seen Allen? He went to get our coats about twenty minutes ago.
Rachel: Maybe he just went to the bathroom.
Amanda: Oh my God. I gotta stop him.
REGINALD’S SUITE
Reginald walks in and notices something…
Reginald: Someone’s been in here.
Reginald calls the front desk with his back to the open door.
Reginald: Who the hell has been in my room? I don’t give a damn WHO was cleaning! Don’t you know I could buy this damn hotel and have you fired!
Reginald notices his laptop with the slideshow of the pictures of Tyrone and Donna. He then looks at the dossier on Grant, and he picks up his cell phone.
Reginald: Time for me to make some calls.
Allen arrives and slams the door.
Allen: Put that damn phone down!

Rachel: They looked like they were just having a chat. I saw her earlier and she seemed troubled.
Felicia: He said he was going to KBAY.
Rachel: Speaking of which, have you seen Donna?
Felicia: She…left with Tyrone.
HOSPITAL – Kirkland’s room
Jake, Vicky, Charlie, and Grant pay vigil to Kirkland
Vicky: Honey what happened?
Kirkland: I was robbed…outside the hotel.
Charlie: How did you get back to your room?
Kirkland: I must have stumbled back there, and I passed out when I got in.
Vicky: That’s it. You’re moving out of that hotel room and back to the house.
Jake: This was only a random act. I think Kirkland knows how to keep himself safe.
Grant: I agree. The area around the hotel is generally safe.
Vicky: I don’t care if it was Fort Knox…I want my son home! And first thing in the morning you’re checking out of that hotel and coming home.
Vicky walks out and Jake follows.
Kirkland: Charlie can you let me have some time alone with my dad?
Charlie: Are you gonna be alright?
Kirkland: I’ll be fine babe.
Charlie: I’m gonna go call my parents.
Charlie leaves Grant and Kirkland alone.
Kirkland: I lied to my mom and my girlfriend to protect you. It’s me and you now…
Grant: Son, did you see the person who did this?
Kirkland: Why dad? Are you afraid that they’ll incriminate you?
Grant: I would never have sent anyone to hurt you.
Kirkland: Are you really gonna stand there and lie? They came to my door asking for the folder with the information I had on you. When I refused they beat me up and took it.
Grant: I swear to you son, I didn’t send anyone to get the information from you.
Kirkland: Then who would’ve?
HOSPITAL – Marley’s room
Donna: YOU’RE the one we want to see. What happened Marley?
Marley: I think you know the answer to that Donna.
Tyrone: Are you feeling okay? You should’ve called me if you were feeling up to driving.
Marley: I saw it.
Donna: Saw what?
Marley: The little slideshow. You and my husband.
Tyrone: What….what are you talking about?
Marley: You think you can fool me? You two are having an affair.
Donna: You’ve gotta be kidding me. I would never do that to you Marley. And what slideshow.
Marley: I went to Reginald’s suite...to see if I could talk him into relinquishing his controlling interest in the Club.
Marley flashes back to walking up to Reginald’s suite. The maid has the door open because she left to get fresh linens. She calls out for Reginald, and realizes he’s not there. As she leaves, she notices Reginald’s laptop…and the pictures of Donna and Tyrone…and she runs out upset…
BACK TO THE PRESENT…
Marley: And you were both hugging in the Love Mansion…and one picture in the Center. And…and I remember seeing you hug in the mansion also. You two are having an affair.
Tyrone: You got to calm down Marley. We are NOT having an affair.
Donna: Reginald set this all up didn’t he?
Marley: Blame it on grandfather! It’s all his fault that you can’t control yourselves. Why would Reginald have pictures?
Donna (becoming angry): Because he wants to control our lives. THAT’S why he bought controlling interest in the Harbor Club; that’s why he passed you off as my sister; that’s why he took Nicole’s baby from her. He took Victoria away from us!
Tyrone and Marley become concerned…
Tyrone: Donna…what are you gonna do?
Donna: I’m…I’m going to cool off for a minute.
Tyrone: I’m staying with Marley.
Marley: No Tyrone, why don’t you go with her? You’re both hot in the pants anyway.
Donna walks outside the room and Tyrone stops her.
Tyrone: Donna?
Donna: I’m gonna put a stop to this madness.
REGINALD’S SUITE
Allen confronts Reginald
Reginald: I didn’t invite you here.
Allen: I don’t give a damn! You’re gonna help me.

Donna moves off the living room wall, opens up a safe, and takes out a gun. She flashes back to a conversation with Cass (in episode 97) ….
Cass: The laws state that the next of kin gets all of Reginald's estate...
Donna (interrupting): In case of his death.
Cass: That's probably the only way you're going to get control of the Harbor Club.
Everyone looks at each other, and all are silent and Cass breaks it.
Cass: Donna? What are you thinking about it?
Donna: Umm....Nothing. Just that the world will be a better place without daddy in it.
Cass: You shouldn't be talking like that.
Donna: It's the truth! He has been tormenting us from the beginning. He separated Marley and me from Victoria. He also separated Allen from Nicole, and is the cause of her cancer. Now he wants to control the Harbor Club. Don't you think he's done enough? SOMEBODY has to put a stop to it, and if it's me, then so be it.
Donna flashes back to the present, her eyes welled up with angry tears, sniffles, and starts loading the chambers on her gun…puts in her purse...closes the safe, and puts the portrait back over it. Donna walks to the front door, opens it, and Vicky appears.

Reginald tries to get her attention, but he is losing breath as Allen continues to choke him, suddenly two Bay City Police Officers kick the door in, and subdue Allen. Reginald coughs and quickly gets himself a glass of water.

The officers slap handcuffs on Allen, who looks at Amanda with surprise, and they take him away.

Cass and Frankie walk in…
Cass: I have to admit, it’s weird for us to walk into a place together that I’m not going to stay. I always remembered us living and being together.

Jack: The hotel surveillance camera caught you going up to his room, and a text when from his cell phone to your phone number asking you to meet him there.
Grant: So did this said footage actually show me going into Reginald’s room.
Jack: I don’t have to tell you that. I know you were there, because you both knew Evan Frame, and I’m sure you know that Reginald killed Evan in St. Croix.
Grant: Oh let me guess, I went to avenge Evan’s death by killing Reginald right?
Jack: You think this is funny?
Grant: I had nothing to do with Evan Frame.
Jack: He shot you on the day Bay City Center opened.
Grant: And that means absolutely nothing.

Stacey: Jake hi.

Stacey: What happened to your leg?
Jake: Moving Bridget’s bed.

Stacey: You know Derek helped Lindsay with everything. He was so overprotective of her. He wouldn’t let her lift anything heavy, not even a bag of groceries.

Kirkland: You didn’t push Michele into the street.
Bridget: Of course I didn’t. I would never kill my sister.
Kirkland: Exactly, so stop blaming yourself.
Bridget: Look I miss my sister, okay?
Kirkland: I miss Michele, but I miss you, too. Where’s that smiling face I used to video chat with when I was away at school? You telling me about your cheerleader practices while Michele would tell me about her debate club tournaments. You two were always laughing and playing when we chatted. You were almost inseparable. We can’t get Michele back, but I hope we can get you.
Bridget wipes her tears.
Bridget: I think of her every day. It’s like a part of me is gone.
Kirkland: Mom used to always talk about this bond she and Aunt Marley have because they’re twins, and you probably had that with Michele, but you still have got to move on. Our sister wouldn’t want you to be sad all the time right?
Bridget gives a half smile.
Kirkland: Theeeeere’s a smile. Come here kid.
Bridget goes to Kirkland and leans into Kirkland’s chest. Kirkland puts his arm around her, and kisses Bridget on her forehead.
Kirkland: I love you. If you need anything, you just call me alright.

Vicky: My God you’re talking about Lindsay Winthrop. No offense. Bridget knew me so well. Even when she’s not around, she knows when something is wrong with me. The funny thing is that your grandpa Reginald paid Bridget to take me away and raise me, but it ended up being a blessing. Your father and I named your sister after her.
Michele: Bridget’s been watching over you, and we pray for you all the time.
Vicky smiles and her eyes well up.
Vicky: I sure need them.
Michele: That’s why you have to tell dad what you know about Lindsay. He’s gaining another daughter.
Vicky: Honey you have to understand why I can’t tell him. Jake got in an accident and lost his memory. If they come flooding back, who knows what could happen to him.
Michele: Well he’s gonna find out one way or the other. You don’t want to be the one who cheats dad out of getting to know Lindsay.
Vicky: I just want to protect your father.
Michele: It’s more than that. You’ve got to examine your heart and find out the real reason mom. You always have to because you have to be ready.
Vicky: For the fallout?
Michele: Not always for bad things. There are good things to come for you, too. It’ll be like a miracle, but your heart has to be ready to receive it. Prepare your heart mom.
Michele begins to disappear…
Vicky: Michele honey don’t go. Tell me what you mean.
Vicky wakes up puzzled…

Jake: Not really it’s just….it’s almost the first anniversary of Michele’s death.
Lindsay: Who’s Michele?
Jake: That was my daughter.
Lindsay: Oh…Oh I’m sorry to hear that.
Jake: I miss her. Every day.
Lindsay: Sounds like she was special to you.
Jake: She was really smart you know. She had gotten accepted to Harvard.
Lindsay: I heard about what happened to her. So tragic.

Iris: I’m glad you’re here. How was your evening?

Amanda: What do you mean?
Iris: It’s time to move the company into a new era. The company can’t do what it did in the past and expect to be successful.
Amanda: That’s obvious.
Iris: Times have changed and the company has to change with it. That being said, I would like to take the company into new ventures, like television shows.
Amanda: That’s very risky. Networks are not as patient as they used to be with shows. If they cancel the shows after a couple of airings, then we lose money. I’m not sure if we should be taking chances like that.
Iris: Why not? Didn’t daddy have to take chances in order for his company to grow? I want this company to do more than just print. I want people to watch our programs on their tablets and laptops anytime. There is money to be made in those markets. That’s why I want to change our name.
Amanda: Change our name? You mean the company’s name.
Iris: That’s right. I want Cory Publishing to now be called Cory Productions. Are you with me?
Amanda: Hmmm…I think you’re right. I’ll go with it. Cory Productions it is.

Paulina: Iris doesn’t deserve to be in control of Cory.

Rachel: It’s Carl. He’s afraid that if I fight for Cory Publishing, that it will consume me and I’ll put it before our marriage.
Paulina: Oh come Rachel I don’t think he truly believes that, not after all you two have been through to be together.
Rachel: For some reason, Carl thinks he’s in competition with Mac. He couldn’t be further from the truth.
Paulina: Of course he is. He’s your husband, and he loves you. He has to understand that you will always be part of Cory Publishing.
Rachel: A part of me will always love Mac, but I love Carl with all my heart. That being said, I have an idea of how we can start the process of taking Iris down.

Jack and Toni discuss Reginald’s murder case…
Jack: I questioned Grant Harrison.
Toni: And? Why isn’t he in here? Don’t tell me…
Jack: As surprised as I am to say this, I don’t believe Grant had anything to do with Reginald’s murder.
Toni walks up to the easel with the possible suspects listed…
Toni: Do you really wanna cross his name off this list?
Jack: As much it pains me, I have nothing to nail Grant with.
Toni: He was at Reginald’s suite wasn’t he? I mean there’s got to be something we can get him with.
Jack: I pulled Reginald’s cell phone records. He texted Grant five minutes after the poisoned food was ordered. Grant couldn’t have gotten there in time to taint the meal.
Toni: What about Grant’s cell phone records? He has connections.
Grant: The only calls placed that night were to his driver, Paulina, and the hospital. None were made to any of the room service attendants, or any the hotel staff. He had no opportunity. We can’t pin this murder on Grant.

Frankie: I know everything that Carl has done.
Cory: So you wanna still see him?
Frankie: No matter what has happened in the past, he’s still your father. He’s still OUR father.
Cory: I don’t think you understand. It makes me sick that he tried to kill mom, and them mom turned around and married him. I can’t wrap my head around that.
Frankie: And your mother got a lot of flack for that. From Amanda; from Iris, Matthew. She got criticized by her friends about it. She went through a lot to be with Carl, and hey you might even be here if she didn’t follow her heart.
Cory: Don’t get me wrong, I love dad, and that’s why it hurts. The day after he came back, he had gone out, and he didn’t even tell mom. She was so worried about him. I don’t think he’s changed.
Carl walks in…
Carl: You’re right son. I’m still the same old person you’ve read and heard about.
Frankie: Hi Carl.
Carl (smiling): Frankie. So good to see you.
Frankie: Likewise. It seems like you two needs to have a talk.
Carl: You don’t have to leave. You’re family. Your younger brother here has had trouble dealing with the fact that I have done some horrible things in the past.
Frankie: I need to go and meet Charlie for lunch anyway.
Carl: We have to catch up.
Frankie: Definitely. Bye Cory.

Frankie leaves…
Cory: I’m going upstairs.
Carl: Shut the doors. You’re not going anywhere until we talk about this.
Cory: Dad there’s nothing to talk about.
Carl: I’m tired of you walking around here as if someone did something to you. If you can’t come to terms with what I’ve done; the kind of man I used to be, then you need to get some help, because I’m not going to stand for it anymore.
Cory: What are you gonna do dad? You’re gonna kill me, too. Just like you did Mac Cory, or Kathleen McKinnon.
Carl: How did you know about Kathleen?
Cory: You can find anything on the internet almost. Maybe I should go into witness protection like she did.
Carl: You STOP it Cory! Stop this nonsense! I didn’t fight through a brain tumor to come back to you for this disrespectful attitude. You better fix it, and fix it soon because you don’t wanna see the ugly side of me.

Christy sees a guard coming and leaves…
Guard: Time’s up!
Grant: I’ll be back tomorrow.

Toni: Reginald was blackmailing Grant.
Jack: I guess he thought he could send Grant to prison, but what was in that dossier meant nothing.
Toni: Please don’t tell me that Grant’s gonna weasel out of this one, too.
Jack: Toni you know the rules. As much as we don’t like Grant, we can’t just pick him up on circumstantial evidence. We can’t link him to any crimes that Evan committed in the United States.
Toni: That evidence supposedly links Grant to Evan.
Jack: It does not prove that Grant did not help Evan kidnap Amanda and shoot Mitch Blake.
Toni: So he gets away with crimes again.
Jack walks up to the easel and grabs a marker.
Jack: Grant may have the means and motive to kill Reginald, but he didn’t have the opportunity.
Toni: You don’t understand. We’ve been waitin’ for years to nail that son of a bitch.
Jack: Lieutenant you gotta focus on catching Reginald’s killer, not personal vendettas.
Jack crosses Grant’s name off the list.
Toni: So who’s next? Who is the next person we question.
At the same time, Jack and Toni look at Donna Love’s name on the list.
