Totally agree. When Ridge called Hope a whore Brooke should have slapped him into next week and kicked his sorry ass into the Pacific. The fact that she not only did not do that and instead continued to beg him to come back is some of the worst writing Brad Bell has ever done. 🤮

Does Brooke's Bedroom ring a bell for instance? One of the most successful lines ever from FC, and it was created by Brooke. Let's not pretend that Brooke didn't run that company for years and years and did so very successfully. Was Brooke the one in charge when Nick took over the company? No, that was the Forresters. Was Brooke the one in charge when Bill took over the company? No, that was the Forresters. When Brooke was in charge the company was stable and successful.

Such a shame then that the writing is worse than ever.

Freeloaders? Brooke has contributed more to FC than Steffy has! She has more than earned her place.

What the hell is this? Are they turning Emmerdale into Game of Thrones with John Sugden as Ramsay Bolton? Hunting people with bow and arrows? I'm amazed at how low this once great show has fallen. It's mind-numbingly awful!

Of course they are. This is B&B and Brad Bell never met a storyline he didn't re-use over and over and over... Of course this time there will be a slight difference. Because Luna will obviously get pregnant, a.k.a. her getting-out-of jail-card.

This is astonishing. If nothing else demonstrates how little Putin now thinks of the US under Trump, then surely this does. Unbelievable! Episode 460, probably my favourite episode ever: Matt and Dolly's wedding. And, unlike wedding episodes now, there weren't any last minute surprises, no jilted lover showing up to stop the ceremony, no pregnancy revelations, just a beautiful traditional wedding. With the added bonus of the chimneysweep at the end, a tradition most people probably don't know anything about anymore. But it's one of those little touches that made this show so wonderful, and so real, back then. So far I think 1978 has been the best year overall.

Oh, Amos.... He was all excited like a little child at Christmas when Dolly asked if he would give her away at the wedding. It's little touches like that which makes you still love him even when he's at his most pompous.
