Did you guys catch that they had a little ponytail in Howarth's hair at the pool yesterday? It's like they're trying to make him as ridiculous as possible. Also... twsrc%5EAlso He's just embarrassing to watch. Seriously, what is that slurping? Are we supposed to find him fun and quirky? 🤢

Oh come on! I'm sure there's a core family they could shoehorn the actor into. 😅 He can be Benny Quartermaine. I want Lenny to live and for him and Phyllis to come to PC. Once Sonny gets his memories back, he'll make sure they're well taken care of financially. They're good people and I don't want to see Lenny die. When Sasha first became pregnant I assumed she'd miscarry because there's not really a point to her and Brando having a kid. Now that they've essentially "SORASed" the pregnancy to match up with the actress's real-life pregnancy, I'm not so sure. She looks like she's in her third trimester so I don't see a miscarriage happening at this point, but I guess she could have a stillbirth. I don't want that to happen mostly because I don't want to see an actually pregnant actress have to play that storyline.

Ava looked so good at the pool. She's just fabulous. I have to laugh at all these people who don't live at the MC hanging out there. AustinFrankenTodd felt out of place in the scenes with Nik/Ava/Spencer/Trina. He's so unnecessary. I thought it was a little weird that Ava and Nik didn't seem to question Trina and Spencer knowing each other. Spencer is such a little turd. He better make it up to Trina! Hopefully they follow up on today's scenes. Lenny's going to Llanview for surgery. I like Lenny but I'm over Nixon Falls. I don't need to see Nina/Lenny scenes. More Jason/Monica scenes. Do we have new writers? I laughed at how Finn had walked away two seconds before Jason shouted out Elizabeth's name - how did he not hear that? I wonder if Terry and Britt are going to be co-chiefs of staff. Ryan's back! I wasn't expecting that. Doesn't Sam know that Nik shot Hayden?

I thought they said that Doug hurt himself playing racketball or something and Julie went to go be with him in the ER.

Her plane got turned around or something. 🙄

I just love seeing Paul Telfer so high up in the yearly rankings... 🥰 Steve and Kayla's numbers this month make me sad.

RSW's teeth look great, which is about the only redeeming quality Ben has. He looks like a complete psycho.

Today's episode was basically B- and C-storyline day. I liked hot Brando choosing his baby/baby mama over the mob. Why does Gladys want her son to be involved with the mob so badly? I laughed today when she was all, "I just want the best for my boy." And that's the mob??? Huh. Sasha needs to push her into the pool. I thought the Sam and Dante scenes were cute. I'm not sure what it says about the quality of the episode, but they were the highlight for me. I just wish Dante was still scruffy. I reallllly don't care about Jordan and Curtis's divorce. I was rolling my eyes at Jordan's crying at the end. Nice of them to trot Terry out and give her like three lines...

I skipped all the wedding crap besides the last minute. Ben smiling ear-to-ear as Ciara realizes she's been kidnapped by him is CREEPY as f-ck. How anyone can find this romantic is beyond me. I can't believe the writers think we're rooting for this. Not to mention it was a lame cliffhanger. The rest of the episode was good. I really enjoyed the Nicole/EJ and Nicole/Philip scenes. I'm much more interested in seeing the fallout of EJ reading the letter than I am in seeing what happens with Ciara. 🙄

They actually did (very briefly) show him visiting Mike's grave. And from the dialogue it sounds like he was always in contact with Laura, so I'd imagine he knows a lot of what's been going on when he wasn't on the show.

Nicole and Phillip seem out of place if the rest of the episode is wedding stuff, but those are probably the only scenes I'll watch honestly.

I can only imagine that most Ben/Ciara fans are newer viewers who never watched Ciara before she was with Ben. Right? I can't imagine that anyone who watched her grow up on the show wants to see her be reduced to propping a serial killer.

I've never FFed an episode as much as I did today. Everything is Ben Ben Ben. I can't watch it. If tomorrow is just the wedding, I'll probably skip straight to the cliffhanger. I did enjoy Chanel wearing a blindfold so she wouldn't see Eli naked again.

Loved the Britt/Spencer scenes! My two current favorites together. So fun. I'm so glad the show remembered how close they were and even said that they've kept in touch off screen. Spencer still looks really tall even next to KT. LOL at him trying to play matchmaker with Britt and Nik. I laughed at him scurrying away so they could be alone together. They weren't having any of it. Ava's out for a walk in the park in her heels. Okay... At first I was wondering why we were being subjected to Spinelli/Brando scenes, but their interaction actually made sense. Glad that people are talking some sense into Brando and making him realize that his baby should come before Jason/Carly lol. Michael and Willow (aka "Millow" - aka Millowtonin) are so loathsome. They make Chase's condition all about them. Chase almost died and now he can't walk and in their minds it's poor Millow instead of poor Chase. Uh. You guys put yourself in this situation. You've been lying to Chase for ages now. Nobody forced them to do this. Nobody is preventing them from going and telling Chase the truth right now. I'm over their pity party. At least Chase can see that something is off. Michael talking about making love to Willow makes me wanna barf. Sorry but he has zero sex appeal. Lord they suck.

Eric and Nicole are my favorite couple, but Ari also had great chemistry with James Scott. Heck, I didn't mind her with EM's Brady either (not that I want them to revisit that pairing at this point). She even had chemistry with that Vargas guy (remember him?!). She usually has chemistry with anyone they put her in a scene with, so naturally she's going to get tossed at Rafe. I see nothing with her and Rafe (he has chemistry with no one lol). I didn't see anything with her and Daniel either which is funny because they're engaged in real life.

I just love seeing little Violet. She's so cute. ME is really good with her. "My team is going to hate me" because Finn brought healthy snacks. Ha. Liz and Finn had the same conversation yet again today. The writers must've thought we wouldn't notice since they were outside this time. They did look nice in the outdoor lighting. I did laugh at them talking about dumping Peter's body in a landfill, then cheering on Violet in the next breath. Molly and TJ are on again? Do the writers know we've already seen them a couple times this month? At first their interaction with Nik felt so random but then I remembered that he and Molly are cousins. Nice to see different people interacting. I loved Shawn walking into the Metro Court at the end. Nik was like "oh sh-t." It's okay Nik, you're not going to go to prison and get written off the show like Shawn did. Spencer getting pushed into the pool was fun. He knew he was in deep doo-doo when he saw Trina, ha. He looked so scared. Ms. Trina put Spencer on notice and I love it. They're super cute. As for the conversation about Chad Duell, he's so dang boring now. I don't know how much of that is his fault and how much of it is the writing. I can't believe he's the son of Carly, AJ, and Sonny. He's a wet noodle. He should be causing all kinds of trouble and driving so much story, but instead he just makes doe eyes at Willow every time he's on.

This was the best part for me. The entire episode was devoted to the Xander reveal. At first I was scared that it was going to be only part of the episode and we'd also have some Ben/Ciara crap in there or something along those lines, completely killing the momentum. But the way the episode played out was great.

I could watch Xander all day. He cracks me up. And I like the new EJ. I mean nobody is going to be as gorgeous as James Scott, but this guy is doing just fine.

Spencer's scheming is sooo sloppy. Which is kind of appropriate since he's young and it probably wouldn't be realistic for his plans to be 100% foolproof. Why did he give Trina a fake name if he's just going to go out in very public places like the Metro Court where everyone knows him? Silly, lol. I'm really enjoying him though. I loved him trying to rub Ava/Austin in Nik's face. I have zero interest in Cam and Joss. Snooze-ville. Keep Spencer away from Joss. I was wondering when we'd finally hear the word "townie." Ugh. We're really spending time on Lenny's condition. I actually like him but come on. I'd love to see Lenny live and Sonny still have a bond with him and Phyllis once he has his memories back. He's gonna need someone to talk to when he comes home and sees what Carly's up to. Have Sonny bring the Tan-O to PC and set them up in a nice house so they can recur. More Nina/Willow scenes. Riveting television. So we have Austin interacting with Ava, Scotty, Sam, Jason... gosh, this is just so different from Franco! We have a hot Spencer now so they have to step it up with the rest of these kids too 😂

Finally got caught up on the week. I really enjoyed the Lucas/Phillip scenes. We don't see them interacting enough. I also thought it was kind of weird that Tripp and Allie having sex was such a non-event. I'm guessing the show doesn't want us getting too invested in them? I don't think it's a COVID issue since the actors are obviously comfortable kissing each other. For me I thought it was weird how Allie was suddenly okay with being intimate with Tripp. Last time they tried, she kept having flashbacks to Charlie and it was a big deal. She even talked to Marlena about it, and Tripp talked to Kayla about how he understands since he went through this with Ciara. Then it wasn't really brought up again and Allie was perfectly okay going to bed with Tripp. It felt kind of rushed to me and like they were glossing over Allie's rape trauma. And I don't think Chanel is a slut. She's a young girl who has feelings for her supposedly-straight female friend and is trying to take her mind off of it by throwing herself at her ex. And I'd be ogling Eli too if he was walking around the house naked, lol. That hardly makes someone a slut. It just means she's not blind. She's a gold digger yeah, but not a slut, especially not by soap standards. I'm so over Brady and Phillip fighting over Chloe. They both act like they own her. I get why guys would fight over her but it's lame. I did laugh at Phillip saying he belongs at the party because Nicole used to be his step-mom. 😂 Brady really needs a rest or a different kind of story because all he does is go from woman to woman. It's so tired. I thought Eli questioning Xander was pretty funny. When Xander was like, "What friend? I have lots of friends," then Eli was like, "That's news to me." 😂 Eric and Nicole still have awesome chemistry 😍 I just love them. But I know it doesn't make sense to keep Nicole in limbo if GV isn't going to be on the show. Gotta torpedo their marriage so Nicole can go be with Rafe... yuckkkk. LOL at Sami saying that Eric is looking so well because he's been away from Nicole for 10 months.

Brady and Xander look like they're about to make out, and I'm okay with that. Paul Telfer has chemistry with everyone.

I just saw one that should be added to this list. I saw someone say that since they recast Spencer, they need to bring on Nicholas Bechtel as a new character. Riiiight. Maybe he can be FrankAustinTodd's son...
