  1. From the July 11, 1982, Des Moines Register.
  2. From the July 11, 1982, Des Moines Register. Apparently, Days wasn't airing there at that time.
  3. Glad to finally get some news other than the tapes are locked up in a warehouse, lol.
  4. You're close. The bride's sister and brother-in-law were killed in a car accident driving home from the wedding. MJ and Tom took in the annoying nephew, and then Tom started abusing him. Tom died a few months later, after getting rid of the kid and getting counseling.
  5. Update on status of the remaining episodes that have not yet aired on Retro.
  6. We don't know whether her claim had any merit though. I'm guessing they settled out of court.
  7. You're right about PFS's story ideas being used. Found this blurb in The Chicago Tribune.
  8. I did see Anthony on Edge of Night. I mostly remember Colin running for the Senate (and winning). His wife, Tiffany (the delightful Lucy Martin) had an affair with his campaign manager during that time. Then, his brother Keith (aka Jonah Lockwood) turned out to be a serial killer. I believe Colin and his father were murdered off-screen (their boat was blown up).
  9. @amybrickwallaceIt was crazy but I loved it! 🤣
  10. @beebsI had completely erased that one from my memory! 😂 This is from a 1982 Lynda Hirsch column. I wasn't aware that Josh had been planning to sue Days.
  11. @DRW50Thanks for tagging me. Don't remember much about this character other than his cuteness. Always great to see Denise.
  12. He'd probably seen A Summer Place and wouldn't dare mess with Constance, lol.
  13. I've noticed that was the norm for newspaper columnists back then. 😒
  14. From 1969, a look at a day of taping the show.
  15. When Robert Gerringer was replaced as Woodard, there was a strike going on against ABC by members of the union for the technical crew. Gerringer refused to cross the picket line.
  16. Random tidbit from 1968---mention of a poem recited by Susan Martin (Denise Alexander) in 1968 after the death of her son (the poem is about the death of a child). Her son died in 1967, but the article is from 1968, so don't the circumstances of her reciting it in 1968.
  17. Thanks Jason! I thought I remembered Julie not knowing about Doug's real name until this time, but I wasn't sure. Good to see I remembered correctly. Addie knew because she had a private detective investigate his background.
  18. Thanks for posting the synopses @JAS0N47!
