Neighbours: Discussion Thread
Channel 10 in Australia hasn't officially axed it yet, but the main reason it was still on air in Australia is because of the UK. Without channel 5 it would have been axed years ago. If Feemantle can't find a new UK home for it, the show will be dead everywhere.

Also Digital Spy's own sources also saying that without a deal, it'll be axed: Sounds like a last ditch effort to save the show.

ARTICLE: Chad Duell Talks Split from Courtney Hope, Reveals the Two Were Never Really Married
Did Courtney forget she isn't on the set of Bold and Beautiful anymore? I've lost count how many times Brad Bell has done the "they didn't sign papers, so marriage isn't real" plot.

All: character may be killed off
I feel Chad and Sonny is more likely. As much I love Sonny and Chad's friendship, the show has mostly forgotten that Chad was Will's friend first.

All: character may be killed off
Not that really means anything, but I found it hilarious that Sonny and Will beat them in nearly every poll and they aren't even currently on the show... 🤣

All: character may be killed off
Killing off Abby because neither Kate or Marci can't commit full time is such a lazy solution. Just write her off the show or recast. Hell is Ashley Benson looking for work? Bring her back. Didn't DAYS learn it's lesson when they killed off Will and what outrage that caused? Viewers don't like legacy kids getting killed off.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
Huge news. The show feels so ill equipped to handle big exits. The Carters were my favorite EastEnders family, but by the end here, I'm not all that sad to see DD go. Personally I'd probably just write out the entire Carter family.

DAYS: Makeup room photo chart reveals contract cast for some point in 2022
I was assuming they listed them by seniority, thus if both were on recurring, Chandler would be ahead of Zach, but it looks like Eric M is in row 1 ahead of Diedre and Drake, so maybe that's not how they are listed. Regardless, judging from the one Michael Fairman interview where he asked them if they wanted to come back full time. Zach gave a strong yes, he would and Chandler said he's only interested in doing shorter stints. Now that they have a great actor in the role of Sonny and people like, they'd be stupid to not lock down at least one half of WilSon.

DAYS: Makeup room photo chart reveals contract cast for some point in 2022
So if Zach if on row 4 and Chandler is row 5, does that mean Zach's on contract and Chandler is recurring? I'm curious how that's going to work in the long run.

General Hospital January 2022 Discussion Thread
So General Hospital really killed off Luke, off screen? Is there a particular reason (either behind the scenes or story-wise) as why they chose to do this now or did Frank and writers just throw a dart at a board of ideas and this is what it happened to land on? This seems so random to do now.

RIP: In Memoriam Thread
This one is hitting me really hard. The last of the Golden Girls. She was so much more than just that too. We won't ever get another one like her. Probably among the last of the universally beloved celebrities. I don't think I've ever met a single person that didn't like her.

DAYS: Makeup room photo chart reveals contract cast for some point in 2022
While I'd love for both Sonny and Will to be back, I'll take a solo Sonny. I didn't think I'd EVER say that. That's the power of the Zach Tinker. LOL

Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas’ Holiday Movie Discussion Thread
The most underrated part of the movie was Will killing off his grandpa Roman. Can that happen on the main show too? 😈 Josh Taylor's Roman always seemed like a waste of space to me.

Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas’ Holiday Movie Discussion Thread
Yeah. I wonder if TVline was referring to the Love Actually scene between Kristen and Brady. He was naked for that, but we didn't see any more than we normally do on the main show.

Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas’ Holiday Movie Discussion Thread
I shipped Leo and Xander on the main show and I did for this movie too. I would have went a little farther with them since it's a What If, but given time constraints, there was bigger plots in the movie.

Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas’ Holiday Movie Discussion Thread
I think it's a little unfair to compare Beyond Salem and this. Beyond Salem was a 5 episode miniseries. This is a 1 hour 20 minute Christmas movie. As for if it's worth it being on Premium. If you paid the $5 specially to watch this and don't plan on watching anything else on Peacock, than no, it's probably not worth it to you. However, there's a lot of other content you can only get in the Premium tier I do think makes it worth it overall. If you don't get Hallmark Channel, they have a subscription service that $6.99. If you plan on watching all gazillion Christmas movies they put out, it's well worth it, but if you only plan on watching one, I honestly can say there's a single Hallmark Christmas movie, alone that is worth $6.99 IMO.

Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas’ Holiday Movie Discussion Thread
They did mention Marlena's possession at the very beginning. Sonny asked Will why he waited until the last minute to write his movie script. Will said because of all the crazy stuff happening back home and his bosses didn't believe him that he needed an extension due to his grandma being possessed by the devil.

Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas’ Holiday Movie Discussion Thread
I overall really enjoyed the movie. I liked the twists and what ifs. I hope they do more spinoffs and specials. As for the drag, I still enjoyed it this time around, but I agree, that now that they've done it twice, they need to give it a rest for a while. Too much of a good thing can be a bad. Will and Sonny saying they missed home, I hope that's a hint they are coming back soon. They are needed on the main show.

Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas’ Holiday Movie Discussion Thread
I'm not against the DAYS Peacock spinoffs being on the premium tier, I'm a little surprised Peacock even has a free tier at all, most streaming services don't. I do think they should have told fans sooner. Finding out just a few days beforehand is a bit shady. I agree that the Peacock exclusive stuff needs to do things the daytime show can't, whether it's nudity or language. Beyond Salem did push things a little bit, but they need to go farther. AS an FYI, Charter/Spectrum just announced that depending on your plan you can get 3 to 12 months of Peacock Premium for free. Started yesterday. While it won't cover everyone, Xfinity and Spectrum, are two of the largest internet providers. That's a lot of people that can get Peacock Premium without needing pay extra.

Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas’ Holiday Movie Discussion Thread
If you have Xfinity Internet, most of their customers get Peacock Premium for free. I didn't realize I already had it until I checked out for the Beyond Salem spinoff.

Jimmy Kimmel Presents Norman Lear's "The Jeffersons" and "All in the Family" Live on ABC
Overall I enjoyed it, especially the 80s commercials. Going into it, I was expecting to like the Facts of Life episode better than Different Strokes, since I am bigger fan of the former, but I enjoyed the Different Strokes episode way better. I don't know how, but Kevin Hart playing child Arnold just worked. The Facts of Life episode they picked wasn't all that great, they should have picked a different one. If they wanted to do the "adults play teenagers" thing they should have just had the originals do it. They already had 3 of the 4, plus Lisa and Kim look like they've barely aged.

Peacock Announces ‘Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas’ Holiday Movie
Hey, I was right. A promo was coming soon! 🤣 Starting off with Will and Sonny...great! This whole thing overall looks fun. I can't wait. Obligatory "Can Sonny and Will join the main show full time soon?" comment. 😀 Is the Sonny and Will scenes the only thing that's "canon"?

There's got to a promo trailer coming out for this soon right? It comes out next week. So far all we've got was a couple of clips from a What's coming in December on Peacock preview.

ARTICLE: How to Take Part In Second-Ever Virtual ‘Day of Days’ Fan Event: Where To Go, The Stars Attending and What to Expect
Overall I liked the event and really enjoyed the behind the scenes stories. Especially with the cast that has been there for decades. It was disappointing that there was no Sonny or Will at all. All these returns to the show, but still nada about them.
