  1. I imagine as it's the weekend there will be a slow build but we'll get the huffing and puffing soon enough. In a just world there should be no outrage, because Trump has said a hell of a lot worse for a year now and it has been painted as honesty and truthtelling. Seeing his camp demand apologies just points out again what hypocrites they all are.
  2. I wasn't sure about just putting this in the ATWT thread as a lot of the show had little to do with ATWT by the end of its run and because the show is so rare that I thought people would want to see it in its own right. So anyway, Rob Wargo on Youtube found this very rare episode and here it is:
  3. The description says Angel and Jean.
  4. Thanks for finding that article. Toup-free Bernie Barrow, very un-Da like, in the Merrill Lynch ad early in this.
  5. Lots of promos here. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6-UvLee7mIqkn7wVIVqRiA/videos
  6. You can see much of the media salivating at another chance to help Trump. They are fine with America burning because they know they'll get a spike in viewers. If Trump said he's going to sell their children, they would thank him if they get to make sure their least favorite goes first. Their contempt and hatred for the world grows every day.
  7. People said that in 2000 and it didn't really work out very well. It's hard for me to react because this isn't really anything new for Hillary. The media will go wild, and I guess it could hurt her, but surely people who were or weren't voting for her already had this type of view of her. Obama was always more intelligent and more cautious, as he knew he had to be, but even he was pilloried for the "clinging to their guns" and "bitter" comments.
  8. You probably already saw it, but a page or two ago I linked to a Politico article from someone who talks at length about how terrible he was as mayor and how unsafe he made the city for black people.
  9. This is the episode where Viki gets shot.
  10. I'm hoping they will give Moira new stories too. I wish they'd actually let her leave the farm but I doubt it. I don't know if you saw it, but Ross had sex with a drunk Kerry (to win a bet with Pete). I just hope it won't lead to a pregnancy story. The scenes at the start of the week where Kerry and Jimmy found out that Dan and Nicola kissed were pretty good - my favorite of the week. Jimmy and Nicola seem to be trying to work on their marriage rather than Jimmy cheating in return, which is a nice and sadly surprisingly rare touch these days.
  11. vetsoapfan I was wondering if you've seen the Danny Hill channel on Youtube? They've been uploading some old audio clips from '70s soaps. Some real treats. Who did you say you think the worst Alice was?
  12. I do think Emma will kill James, with Cain or Moira getting the blame. You probably saw that they almost had sex earlier this week until a donkey stopped them (I'm not kidding). Ross then gave Moira a self-righteous tongue-lashing. James is such a creep. I wish they just had Tracy and David as friends. They don't work for me as serious lovers. I'm not a big fan of overusing the special effects for mental illness, but the bit where the screen became like an X-ray as she fell was good. I also liked the use of the voices (they sounded like Ross and Joanie...). Eden and Jane Cox have both done very strong work lately. They genuinely made me feel her suffering and that she was in danger. And Lisa giving up, then finding hope again - only to see such a horrible sight.
  13. Speaking of Assange: http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/wikileaks-syria-russia-bank-email-missing
  14. It's weird hearing a bit of Cathy's drug story. I never thought I would. I didn't realize how childlike she was.
  15. I liked Luke a bit, but more because of the stories around him than Luke himself. Still, the whole thing feels out of place amidst a plane crash (which they at least admitted). I've been uploading Dolly's exit episodes. Do you want the links to those videos or would you rather not?
  16. I love your gifs.
  17. Obviously if she stays ahead then she will win. I was talking about if things change to that point. The media narrative is already spinning from he won't win to him being on the comeback. They know they can push it how they want to get the end result.
