So Kim goes from a frightened girl who chose not to have sex even when considering getting birth control to a girl who was having sex with two men around the same time all while dating one of their brothers. No wonder her mother was so paranoid! I hope the retcon will be worth it in the long run.

I have some of the old clips of Lauren's party and Patty shooting Jack. Are they on Youtube still? I didn't want to reupload something if the original person still had plans for it. I figure everyone here has already seen those anyway, it was just in case any of you hadn't and wanted to see them.

That reminds me - I got some Neighbours episodes from the late '90s...some are already on Dailymotion, the others I'm going to put up when I have time, if fans here would enjoy seeing them.

I miss the community and seeing people talk - really talk - seeing them find out about major events happening, even if it doesn't affect their story. I miss knowing that old friends and family would return for special occasions and we'd get a window into their lives. I miss being treated with respect by a writer.

@saynotoursoap wrote about this in detail 4-5 years ago I think, but he basically left in 1974 or 1975 and returned for two guest stints. I think the last was in 1975 or 1976, not too long before his role on GH. It's a shame he couldn't be back at the end, although he may have been back on GH at that point anyway.

I miss ATWT a lot but I'm not sure it will really hit me until we start losing the older cast members.

I agree, but I'm not sure how most people would react if their daughter was the one who was caught up in it. I know a lot of people hate Martin but for me he's pretty much the only reason I sat through any of this awful storyline.

Yeah you're right. It was apparently due to behavior issues. I wish they'd kept him around. Or bring him back even now, since they're doing this pointless story (is it me or can neither of the Tanaka twins act all that well...especially Leo?). He and Stefan Dennis were certainly hot enough in this clip (around 20 minutes in)

Watching these I can see why some fans said the show made a mistake replacing this Scott and that Jason Donovan wasn't that good.

Preston didn't just sleep with an elder - he repeatedly used Bex for sex and as a cover for his relationship with Michelle. I think that was the main reason Martin was so angry. It was difficult for me to feel sorry for Preston, I guess because they didn't want us to, but I don't know if Martin accidentally running over someone would stop him from being furious at his teenage daughter being used that way. The pity parties for Michelle are nauseating, although I did like the scene where she wore Preston down until he agreed to leave, because they reminded me a lot of what Den would have done.
