  1. I imagine that one part in particular is a sop to the groups who melted down over the Congressional budget not taking away Planned Parenthood funds. They must have been horrified to realize even now they couldn't make that dream come true.
  2. That's an insult to Kim and Kanye... I didn't even know they were a couple. I'm still wary about the EOs but I agree they are mostly bait. I notice the media is going wild about the Susan Rice story again.
  3. I don't think it will, but apparently the members of the so-called moderate "Tuesday Group" are lashing out at their sellout leader and saying he will cost them Congress. http://www.politico.com/story/2017/05/03/macarthur-obamacare-house-republicans-237951?lo=ap_b1
  4. Frank Runyeon agreed with you there. He said as much when he left or was fired or whatever. I hated him on ATWT, but I have to admit I don't mind him in the clips I've seen on SB, even if it often feels like he later just becomes a Cain replacement in Cruz's life. So many promising actors came and went on SB. I was just watching a clip with Pearl and Kyle Secor earlier today and was reminded again of how he got snapped up by NBC primetime after the show seemingly had little use for him.
  5. They hadn't, no. It's all very plotty but I do enjoy the opposites attract idea, and getting to see more of this side of Harriet. It would work better if they reminded viewers of Cain's past with lady cops though.
  6. The Clintons are very needy people (especially Bill). The Obamas aren't. Michelle in particular isn't going to have much time for fools. She never wanted to be part of this life and she coped with it for 8 years because it was good for the country. And in return the whole family was subject to racist abuse that people were shocked by for about 5 minutes before it became a disturbingly natural part of discourse for 8 long years. They don't owe anyone anything, and at this point his speeches are only an issue to purity contest types and people on the right who are yearning for a shiny object.
  7. Article about the fight of a Sandy Hook parent in the wake of all the conspiracy theories and harassment. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/may/02/sandy-hook-school-hoax-massacre-conspiracists-victim-father
  8. I hope that will be the case here, but I get the feeling these legal groups that peddle in finding the most effective ways to make hate and fear difficult to roll back have been working on this for a while. Even the one in Indiana was only stopped because of business boycotts.
  9. More Pence gushing on the way as it looks like he has had a big "win" with the upcoming religious bigotry executive order that will be used to make life hell for everyone beyond the 700 Club set. http://www.politico.com/story/2017/05/02/donald-trump-religious-liberty-executive-order-237888
  10. Clearly these aren't very private conversations if people are snickering about them on Twitter. I imagine Congress would be happy to do it if they can because that means they and the media can welcome their forever friend Mike Pence into power for 8-12 years.
  11. It's pretty ridiculous - he isn't even trying to focus on ratings, he just wants to help his pal Brian Williams be a star again. Just as he twisted NBC News into knots to push penis head Lauer. What is going on up high at NBC that this is encouraged?
  12. She didn't look that way a few years ago - I wondered if she'd been ill.
  13. Thanks for these. Harry looks a lot like Bob from Sesame Street.
  14. Thanks. I'm glad I asked you guys first as I was going to make a video of the commercial. I really thought it was Randall...
  15. LIkely because of the immigration ugliness. I wonder if she recognize any of the GOP at this point. I saw that Will Ferrell trotted out his W impression for Samantha Bee and that we were invited to remember he wasn't so bad (never mind that Ferrell has been soft-pedaling W since 2000, to the detriment of the country). I thought this type of soft soap tactic that gives Republicans huge gifts was not something Bee would do. I guess she's just another who is part of the system.
  16. Is this Michael Storm?
  17. Is this Randall Edwards in the first ad?
  18. It's good that warmongering NYT has reminded people they are not reliable and have never been reliable. There's such a minimum base that these papers are expected to fulfill under Trump, and they still manage to fail to meet that minimum.
  19. I liked seeing Kandi call him out a bit in that preview. I'd say she should quit now but I guess she either wants the money or needs it or whatever else, unless she still sees the show as a way to promote her other ventures.
  20. I doubt it.
  21. Yes. I think this was probably a fantasy sequence.
