  1. I'm not sure what she is upset about. If this was a spite killing then they would have done what Chuck Lorre did on Two and a Half Men. This is a realistic way to go.
  2. I kept seeing speculation it was down to #MeToo and the pressure against his movies, with the one he did with Selena Gomez currently in Amazon limbo.
  3. Which articles in particular? The main issue with this article is that is only vaguely lets readers know just how tied the author is to Woody Allen and it also claims to be about Soon Yi's voice, yet Allen is clearly heavily involved. There's also using mostly one of the dead children as evidence of Soon Yi's claims. These articles also seem to just focus on how terrible Mia is, rather than having anything good to say about Woody.
  4. I've already seen people trying to dig up stuff on Ford's parents, on her brother... No wonder the poor woman wanted to stay anonymous.
  5. Lillie Belle was the mother of Olivia and Drusilla Barber. When we met her, we learned she had favored Olivia and felt resentment and bitterness toward Dru all their lives. The family did not realize how much (aside from Dru), and when they did, it caused a major rift in the family. They learned that Lillie Belle had a serious mental illness, and attempted to come together for the first time as a family. This was about 25 years ago. The very talented actress, Norma Donaldson, passed away many years ago.
  6. Ugh. https://www.bustle.com/p/trump-jrs-instagram-on-the-kavanaugh-allegations-is-so-insulting-11934389
  7. I love that idea.
  8. Thanks. It's a shame they never brought Dan back in those last twenty years.
  9. Thanks. The Dan who popped up a few years later in the Alison Perkins story seemed younger. I've seen little of the San Carlos story. I wonder if it was any good.
  10. I think one of the main reasons he chose Kavanaugh was in case he is impeached. Beyond that, I think somebody knew Barrett would not get through the Senate.
  11. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/writer-soon-yi-profile-accused-bias-long-history-woody-allen-1143850 The whole "Well Dylan's brother writes about her" response is a bit silly to me as everyone knows that connection is close. The connection of this Daphne woman and Allen is not as apparent, even when briefly mentioned in her article. Vulture is one of those pseudo-"woke" sites that usually reads like a self-parody. They have articles going grr grr at random white men for not understanding about Maya Rudolph needing to get her hair done while she was on SNL, yet they have things like this and like that Wonder Woman review a year or two ago. I guess they just jump on the social justice bandwagon when it's easy and the rest of the time they just go for a clickbait mess.
  12. Thanks for finding that. I loved Marco's lines about Llanview (the small town with a big city crime rate). I wonder if Gerald Anthony ad-libbed that. Who was the man with Cassie and who was the guy trying to get Dorian to push him with Cassie? Was that guy supposed to be a creep?
  13. Someone asked if Michael Zaslow took a break from GL during 1974. Does anyone know?
  14. Most people can't even name one person on the Supreme Court so I'm not sure it will change anything, but hopefully it will at least motivate the usual types who sit at home for purity reasons.
  15. Murkowski and Collins don't give a damn. It's taken a long time for people to see this about Collins but maybe they will now.
  16. Eva looks so dead in the face.
  17. 12 accusers from the first wave of #MeToo talk about the aftermath and their regrets. https://www.thewrap.com/aftermetoo-12-accusers-what-happened-next-firing-more-trauma-harvey-weinstein/
  18. A look at potential Moonves replacements. https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2018/09/les-moonves-cbs-next-ceo
  19. Thanks (both of you). I guess that was speculation before he made the deal.
  20. I read some speculation Manafort was doing all this to get a pardon from Trump. I wonder if it's too late for that now.
  21. Ugh - it won't even stop him. I know 'DiFi' is hated by many on the left but I understand her hesitation.
  22. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/09/12/business/las-vegas-housing-crisis.html
  23. Macleod's name left the credits 2-3 weeks back. I imagine the story will be over within the next 3 weeks, as that is the time that Aaron and Robert will be getting married.
  24. The Intercept world always seems to focus on the most contrived conspiracies - I saw that someone who works with them was saying that Sean Patrick Maloney ran for NY AG to block Zephyr Teachout and how his Congressional district is now "likely R" because he quit.
